I'd like to have a second mail but without loosing my current one. I have a stupid email name and i want to change it but its already into many web and non web platforms(legal contracts that mails are being kept on sheets of paper OH MY GOD), so i have to keep it either i like it or not. So i would like to have an other mail name and have both the new and the old one on my mail feed without changing emails every time i want to check my mailfeed. So i would like to have my 2 mails being diplayed at the same feed at the same time when i open gmail for example. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Hello, So right now I have a P9X79 motherboard which has 1 DVI port. My current monitor has 1 dvi port and a d-sub port (which I believe is the same as a VGA). Now I would like to get a new monitor to use as my main monitor. If I get a new monitor with 2 HDMI ports, and I connect that monitor with my pc with a DVI-HDMI cable, can I connect my second (current) monitor with my main (new) monitor using another dvi-hdmi cable or a dvi-d-sub (vga) cable? Kind regards, Roy

Hey everyone! So I am looking for an effective monitor that will have good color-accuracy, while not necessarily breaking the bank. It doesn't need a stellar refresh rate, since I will not be using it for gaming. I mainly edit photos, do some video work and do a lot of online research, so the main specialization I would need, again, is that nice color accuracy and image quality. Ultra-wide monitors would be welcomed, but regular monitors would be nice too! Any suggestions?

Hello everyone, I have 4k 28" samsung monitor (Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch UHD LED-Lit Monitor with Freesync support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YD3DBOC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Bj1JybBKXDR6V) I want to buy second Led monitor for dual monitor setup. My current monitors height is 375mm. I want to buy something matches with this measurement but the problem is my desk is not big enough to have 2x28" monitors. So i need to buy something else. The first thing that came to my mind was to buy a monitor that, its width matches with height of my current one so i can use it 90 degrees turned. I found out that there are lots of possibilities. I found a 19" 5:4 Dell monitor (Dell Professional P1914S 19" Screen LED-Lit Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FZ2AQOI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_iD1JybYG64R7Z ) that can be used 90 degrees. So what do you think ? Is that good or do you have any suggestion that i can buy? What disadvantages will i have with a 5:4 monitor. Please don't mind the tv. It will be gone. Thanks Bora

I used to have 2 monitors one trough hdmi on my video card and the other trough vga on my motherboard, but when i changed my motherboard for new cpu i no longer have vga. So i found an old GeForce 210 (main video card is gtx 1060) that has vga and i am trying to display my second monitor on there but i am running in to some problems. When i go to Device Manager it does detect the 210 and it also says that the latest drivers are installed but when i look for it in nvidia control panel i can't see it. If i go to properties on the 210 it says :"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I tried looking up some things but couldn't really find anything. -EDIT Second monitor only has VGA

Hello Tech Guys, I am thinking on buying a second monitor but I've been off the market for a long time and now I'm a bit confused. My main monitor is Asus Monitor LED FHD VS278H (27"), but i need another one to place on top of this one. What resolution / size would you recomend? I was thinking about between 23' to 27' My GPU is Nvidia GTX 960 2GB My budget is only 170€

So I've been searching for a new monitor to put on my setup and have been wondering what to get. I really want either a 144Hz or 1440p, but the two together is far too expensive. Should I just get the same monitor I have now (Asus VS247H-P 23.6" 1920x1080) or just buy a new, better, bigger one?

Hey all, I decided to play through FarCary 4 again as it is such a great game and I was craving this kind of gameplay. My problem is, is the game will drop to 36 FPS fairly often (exactly half of my 72 FPS limiter) and I am not sure why. I do not see how to de-limit the frames in game, so I keep it at the max, 72. Specs: Cpu: Ryzen 3 2200g oc'ed to 3.85 Gpu: Gtx 1060 6gb slightly oc'ed Ram: 8gb ddr4 3000mhz I have played with gsync settings and tripple buffering and no combination seems to change this. I find it pretty suspicious that it cuts my max frames In half and stays there for a while when it decides to. I feel that this happens after a mission has been completed and I get some ui interfering, but it then lingers and I cannot figure out why. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Hi all, I'm new here! I was wondering if there are any specific laptop models that are worth looking into second hand and if not second hand which new ones you would recommend. What I want to do with it and other info beneath :) I'm based in Europe (might be important) Used to mac os environement. Want to play RTS games. AOE 2 DE and AOM DE, AOE 4 when it comes out. (age of empires) Budget around 200 - 300 € --> Will probably go for a desktop environement in the future. Graphic wise I don't care too much. I don't mind running things on low settings. But it has to operate smooth of course. Was thinking of running Linux on it. (probably Pop os) I do like sturdiness, and good build quality like a macbook. Might use it as well for general things, which means browsing the web. --> For other (creative) stuff I use mac. Not afraid to use some small screwdrivers. Thanks ahead!

**What I'm about to ask is something of a problem which I used to have (no longer do), and I managed to find out where the problem was, but what I want to know now is WHAT was actually causing the problem.** So I was running my rig (specs below) for about 3 years now, and for the last 6 months or so, I used to have this problem where the system would turn on when I push the Power button, the lights & fans would come alive and spin for like a split second before shutting down. I do this like 3-4 times and each time the same result, and then finally the system boots up on the 5th or 6th attempt and everything works fine once I'm there. I ran benchmarks, stress tests and everything was in top shape, nothing I could find which was glaringly wrong in anything that was detectable through software. Sometimes, when I used to turn off the PSU switch, unplug the power cord and plug it back in and turn on, it used to boot up no problem. But only like 60% of the time, not always. Additionally, the problem seemed to manifest more severely when I shut down the system and come back to turn it on in like a few hours. But when I turn it off and only come back to it after quite a while (like the next morning), USUALLY it used to boot up in the very first attempt. I clearly suspected this was a power supply issue (Antec VP650P v2) but I never really got around to digging further as I was pretty busy these last few months (and as the system wasn't just outright refusing to boot, I treated this rather as an annoyance than a genuine problem). However recently, I did quite the upgrade to my system with a new 1080Ti, and as I was aware of the potentially faulty power supply I had, I went ahead and bought a new Corsair RM850x to replace it with...wasn't gonna risk the 1080Ti. Sure enough, once I swapped the PSU, the problem was gone. Now whenever I press the Power button, the system just boots up flawlessly, like it did when I first put everything together back in 2015. But what I wanna know is, what actually went on there? What exactly was causing this problem with my old PSU? Surely I can't be the only guy that faced a similar issue? Anyone fittin' to share some knowledge/experience? I just wanna know what the problem was, in case it turns out to be something I can fix in future. Are PSUs known to do this when they go bad? Specs: i7-4790k (liquid cooled by Corsair H80i v1) MSI Z97 Gaming 7 MoBo Corsair Vengeance 16gb (2x8) DDR3, 1866 mhz MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G*** (replaced with MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming) Samsung 840 EVO 120gb SSD running Win10 Pro 64-bit 2 x 2TB 7200rpm HDDs (a Seagate Barracuda and a WD Enterprise Edition) Optical Drive 3 x case fans Antec VP650P v2 (replaced with Corsair RM850x) *** 3.5G duh Note that in both cases (with the new & old PSUs), I was getting power via a UPS. I even tried using different UPS models but it didn't effect the problem in any way.

SetUp: CPU: Intel i7-8700k Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1080 8gb Ram: 16GB DDR4 How're you doing forum? I'm having problems while playing games, specifically a significant FPS drop while using my 2nd monitor to watch videos or streams. Recently I upgraded my setup so I could stream myself and I found that my whenever I try to use my 2nd monitor to watch videos or streams my FPS drops. This didn't use to be a problem back when I was using a Radeon r9 290 and and i5 CPU, but ever since I upgraded to a better CPU and GPU my games and stream run amazing, unless I try to use my 2nd monitor. This happens weather I'm streaming or not, as soon as there is a video playing on my 2nd monitor I experience the FPS drop. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

hello has anyone followed taran's guide to setting up macro keys? because I have a problem where he is using his for premier I want top use mine for sketch up just so that I only need to press one key and can label them so that i remember. but I can't seem to get only one keystroke when I try and set a function for a key (this is bad because sketch up can only use 2 keys in a combination), if i press shift as fast as i can it will still say it is 2 key presses therefore putting down 2 shift which then i need to restart mapping that key. if someone know how to fix this that would be great. If I am just stupid and haven't realized that I need to do other stuff to get it working please tell me but my thinking is that I programe the keys then when I open sketch up and I press that key that it will just execute the key stroke? am I wrong in thinking this? someone please help.

Hi Folks, My first post here - hopefully someone can help me out! Thanks in advance I have an ASUS ROG Z370-I (two m.2 ports) already perfectly running a Samsung 850 Evo m.2 drive in the primary slot, but purchased a second drive (Intel 600P Series 512gb) to expand storage. It seems no matter what I do my MOBO wont recognize the new Intel drive in the second m.2 port. No recognition in UEFI BIOS or in Windows - cant initialize the drive. There doesn't even appear to be a second m.2 slot showing as "empty" in the BIOS - PCH Storage Configuration What am I missing here? How do I get my board to recognize a second m.2 drive? Keep in mind the following: I HAVE tested the new Intel m.2 drive on another board and it works just fine. I am running the latest BIOS version (0615) I have not tested a different drive in the second slot (I would rather not swap my Samsung drive as this requires lots of disassembly) I'll probably post something similar on the ASUS forum Other thoughts: Is this Intel drive somehow not compatible with my board? Fairly certain it is compatible... Is there some kind of PCI-E setting I need to enable before a second m.2 drive will be recognized? Other BIOS settings I am missing? MOBO Manual here THANK YOU

Hey, I've done a lot of research and I think I've finally come to a conclusion for my second build. I don't have a GPU in the build yet but I'll probably be getting a 1070ti or a 1080. I do gfx, stream, and a little bit of video editing. I was thinking about the i7-7700K but from what i've seen, the i5-8600K is incredible for the price. Also, apparently it's better for temps to put the radiator on the front.according to : But I also am trying to think how the air would best flow. I'm currently thinking about having 4 fans in my build (Not counting the aio), with the bottom fan for intake. I'm trying to see what I can do for the top two fans/the back one, airflow wise. Other than that, how's the build and what should I change in it and do for the fans. Thanks I'll also link a photo with a quick drawing of how it's set to be configured. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/kcout0/saved/h9XD8d Here is the fan compatibility for my case (Meshify C): Cooling System: Top: 2x 120/140mm Fan Vents (Fans not included) Front: 3x 120 or 2x 140mm Fan Vents (1x Dynamic X2GP12 Fan is included) Rear: 1x 120mm Fan (1x Dynamic X2GP12 Fan) Bottom: 1x 120mm Fan Vent (Fan not included) Dust filters: Bottom fan + PSU Front fans Top panel Radiator: Front: 120/240/360mm 140/280mm Top: 120/240mm (max component height on motherboard 40mm) Rear: 120mm (max width 125mm)

So I have a dual monitor set-up and I use my main monitor for gaming and my second monitor for browsing and watching youtube (sometimes at the same time). However when I play video games and try to watch a video at the same time on my second monitor my FPS drops like 20 fps but will go back to normal if i minimize the video. Doesn't make any sense, both monitors are 1920x1080 and again I'm only playing the game on ONE monitor. Before anyone asks, YES I've updated my drivers, restarted my computer, all the very obvious troubleshooting. It's funny because my older rig which consisted of an i3 and GTX 760 2gb did not have this problem. Current specs GTX 1070 8GB i7-7700 16gb RAM

Hey guys I have installed my OS on a SSD and have another HDD in my computer where I want to install random programs on it. It is detected and I can store stuff on it, but my question is now can I install programs without doing anything before on it? I mean is there any Windows installation on this HDD necessary before or can I create a folder called "programs" and install them in this folder? Thank you in advance!

So, recently I noticed my drive was running slowly, so I ran chkdsk.exe on it. I eventually cancelled it, since it was taking ages and the problem had goen away. When I got back to my computer the next day, I noticed that my hard drive (in Windows Explorer) had been given a group, which says "File Folder." I'm not sure why it was put there, or even how, but I know it was put there immediately after I cancelled the program. Here is what I mean. This is a comparison between my two drives in Windows Explorer. For some reason, my second drive has this "File Folder (7)" there. I have no clue why, or how do remove that. It's not that much of an issue, but it's just kind of annoying. I just don't like it there. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to remove it. Thanks, Matt.
