I bought all new components except GPU, and my build is: Ryzen 5 3600 B450 Aorus Elite V2 2x8GB Kingston Beast 3600Mhz FSP Hydro Pro 600W MSI RX 470 Gaming X 4GB The problem first appeared when I started installing Windows where first crash appeared, DRAM light on the motherboard turned on and I got no signal on the screen while the PC seems to be running. For me to restart the PC I needed to turn on the switch on PSU and then turn on the PC. After that incident a managed to install Windows and I thought that everything is alright until the moment when I restarted the PC and booted in Windows where a couple of seconds after logging in PC crashed again with the same DRAM light. At that point, I started searching on internet the what is causing the problem. I remove the RAM stick and try every possible orientation and I was still getting the sem crash with the DRAM light. I did not turn on XMP. I tried also fleshing the BIOS and still nothing. When I am in BIOS the PC doesn't crash no matter how long is PC running. The next thing that I tried is to use RAM and GPU from a friend which did not help also, BUT when I put his CPU (Ryzen 5 1600) with all my parts the PC stopped crashing and I was able to reinstall Windows with no problem( which I taught is maybe causing the problem). After reinstallation, I put back my CPU and the PC crashed again. For the problem to be more confusing when I put my CPU in his build which is I think Asus Prime a320, 2x4gb 2400mhz with some Cooler Master 500w, there are no crashes. At that point, I didn't know what to do and I thought that for some reason my CPU is faulty so I sent it back to the store for reclamation and they approved it and I got a new CPU which also crashed. At that point a started locking at CPU voltage in BIOS. I lovered CPU Vcor and VCOR SOC -0.1V, after which PC started working normally, until sometimes when it crashes again but now less occasionally. What can be causing this problem so I can replace that part because I have a guarantee, any help? After all that I thought, that it is due to the BIOS version, and then I installed the latest which is F65a (my previous was F64). Yesterday tried to dynamically lower the voltage -0.15V and PC still crashed after a couple of BOOTs

I currently have this build: MS ARMOR V700 case 2x8gb Hyperx Fury RGB 3200MHz AMD R5 3600 Aorus Elite b550m Sapphire Nitro+ R9 380 2GB GDDR5 2x500gb hdd and 240gb ssd. Cobra Power 500w 80plus brozne My question is will GPU get damaged of bottleneck, if i will it a few months in this build until i buy a new GPU? It has normal temps but i have to underclock it. If i dont i have to put fans to the same temps are. I was thinking rx 6600, or the lowest option rx 570/580 8gb. And also, what parts should i upgrade next? Everything is new expect gpu, psu and disk drives. I owned that before.

Country: Croatia, but I can import from other EU countries. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, Rocket League, and single-player games from time to time. For programs, I use Sony Vegas and Photoshop sometimes. Other details: My current PC is https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wsdPfy , just without the Corsair 4000D, I have a really old case, but it has enough airflow for now. My main game is Counter-Strike 2, and as it seems now, Ryzen 5 3600 won't be getting close to the 240fps that I need. I play on 1600x900@240hz. I have seen some tests with Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but I am opting to go with 5800X3D, because I don't have the budget to change parts for the 7800X3D. I have 4 questions: I want to upgrade to Ryzen 7 5800X3D, so I was wondering can this motherboard support it and if this PSU is good enough to support all of the components, as I am not looking to upgrade the GPU any time soon? If I go with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, what is the best cooler I should be looking for? I am leaning more toward the air coolers if possible. Which case would you recommend to me? I don't need any RGB, aesthetics don't matter, airflow is the most important part. Is there anything I should know when upgrading to 5800X3D? Do I just need to upgrade BIOS before installing it or are there any other options that I should change when installing it?

Hi LTT forums, I recently built a new ITX pc and it's not posting. When I press the power button, the power LED comes on and all of the fans are spinning but it doesn't seem to get to the post screen. I sent in the Motherboard and they sent a replacement but it's still not working so it isn't likely the motherboard. I also tested with a different SATA SSD which I knew worked. I tried with each stick of ram one at a time as well. They only thing that leaves is the CPU and the power supply. The manufacturer claims that a bios update is only needed for ryzen 5000 series CPUs and the power supply seems to be working; the fans are spinning and the power led is coming on. Any idea why it's not working? Below is a list of my parts. CPU Motherboard RAM SSD Case + PSU

Hey everyone. Hope yall are keeping safe. I recently built my computer with the Ryzen 5 3600 and the asrock b550m pro4 motherboard. I'm using Crucial Ballistix RGB 3600 speed ram which I can't seem to get to 3600 speed. I've updated the bios to the latest version and am able to get 3200 speed, but with XMP enabled with the speed 3600, the speed resets to 2666.

Hi , so basically I look at some benchmarks and I see that some people get more FPS in the games I play as well with the same setup, a ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 3070 and 32 gb ram 3200 mhz. I don't understand why, example COD WZ they get like 130-150 fps on high settings 1080, and I get like 100-110 max , I don't understand why, also i noticed that their CPU stays always at max speed 4.2 ghz and mine does not goes above 4010 - 4050 . I installed once windows and since then my cpu wont get 4.2 ghz at all, is there anything i can do to get the same fps ? Cause i dont understand why i dont get it, if we have the same setup, thanks yall, and sorry for the stupid question.

So I have always had problems with Fortnite in specific with my setup. Even on just high settings it cant sustain 60fps for long even when OCed +100 on core and memory. Heres a video if it helps pinpoint a problem. Idk what this could be but Id love any advice I can get. I have drivers up to date and the game has never ran super great on my system period no matter how much I optimize or verify or reinstall it. The OC did nothing and gave almost no performance boost over base clocks. I also have no backround tasks running at all except Geforce experience. This was recorded in experience and it doesn't do anything (maybe -4 fps or whatever) to effect the fps or so ive heard. 2056556688_MyVideo9.mp4

So I just upgraded my CPU to the Ryzen 5 3600 and motherboard to the B450 Aorus M I attached my previous CPU cooler on it which is the Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim. However when I booted everything up the CPU was always ramping up the fans and running anywhere from 43 - 70 degrees Celsius. -I've updated the Bios -Installed all the motherboard software -Installed the latest AMD drivers But to no avail. Here is a screen shot of my system info on idle down below... If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks :)

Hello everyone, can someone recommend me some power supply for this system: cpu: ryzen 5 3600 gpu: RX580 ram: 16gb ddr4 3200mhz (2 x 8gb) motherboard: ASRock b450m pro4 I also added 3 fans alongside 2 that were in case. I was thinking something like CX550 because i am not planning to overclock, but is it good enough. If you can suggest me some power supplies in that money range i would be gradeful.

Hello! So a couple of days ago I decided to compare the stock cooler of my Ryzen 5 3600 to the one I paid 25$ for, and so I did. After cleaning the paste with a fiber cloth and some qtips and alchool, I put the stock cooler in the system. The stock cooler is generally 15*C warmer than the one I bought. Good, I saw this and decided to put back the old cooler. Put back the old cooler, everything looks dandy. Boot up, it works, gets me into bios because it sensed the change in hardware, activate XMP, set my fan profile, save and reset, all looks dandy. At this moment, my PC is on with only the Ryzen Master open just to look at temps, then I look away for a couple of minutes and when I look back the display turned dark, it went into power saving mode since it said there is no signal input. Hmmmmm, try moving the mouse and clicking the keyboard, nothing. Force shut down, boot back up, still nothing. Repeat. This time while looking at the inside of the case, now I saw the EzDebug LED, there are 4 LEDs, the first one was on. That one means "CPU not detected/CPU fail"....... Up until now I tried the following: booting up without CPU power connected(when you do this you are unable to force shut down using the power switch), connected CPU power(now the force shut down works, which tells me there is current going to the CPU), changing RAM(starting with only one of the sticks and changing between them) and finally resetting the BIOS by taking out the battery for a minute and putting it back in. Any suggestions on how to fix it or, maybe more importantly, WHAT DID I DO TO MESS IT UP? Long post, I know.... Thanks for giving it a read!

Do I need to install a different version of bios? Because I’ve been doing some research on the ryzen 5 3600 cpu and my motherboard and it says that I mit need to get a different version of bios because the AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs such as the ryzen 5 3600 and apparently to update the bios it will require a older compatible cpu. I’m just confused. current cpu:amd ryzen 5 1600 current gpu:gigabyte Radeon rx 570 GDDR5 4gb (rev 2.0) current motherboard: asrock b450m/ac current main drive: Sabrent rocket 512gb m.2 2280 nvme solid state drive current Ram: teamgroup t-force Vulcan z 16gb ( 2x8 Gb ) ddr4-3600hrz cl18 memory current psu:Thermaltake Smart 600 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

My Ryzen 5 3600 runs at 4.175GHz CCX0 and 4.2 GHz CCX1 at 1.224v. I use the Wraith Stealth (stock) cooler, stock thermal paste and one case fan configured as exaust ( minimal airflow but with good ventilation ). It idles at 53°C. I live in india, room temp here is 45°C. When running at full loads temp goes up to 94°C. When performing stress test ~67W PPT, temp went to 102°C. Yes 102 degrees. I triple checked the temps using Ryzen Master, HW monitor, and gigabyte software, each running at three different tests. Qusetion 1: Isn't the CPU supposed to throttle / Shut down at such high temperatures? Question 2 :For an average user will the CPU degrade? I expect it to work for only 3 years.

I'm having a random problem with the computer not posting with the CPU debug LED lit after a forced restart it posts but now I'm getting a message that says "Memory over clock has failed" but I only turned on XMP I have the memory voltage set to 1.35V I had to manually set the timings of the memory kit to match what they are rated for but it seems like 3200MHz and even 3133MHz is a no go it's stable with memtest86 at 3200 but still won't post at random with the CPU debug LED on and there's only one short beep once the CPU debug LEDs stays on but other times there no beeps at all and no picture on the screen I'm lost it can't be the memory if it passes memtest86 right? I ran a full system stress test for over two hours and it always passes even with the memory at 3200MHz I never had a computer fight me this much before. I could put the old memory kit back in but even that kit won't run stable at rated speed no matter what motherboard is used. I have already replaced all the hardware in my computer besides the CPU and I was having random memory related problems with this CPU in my other system. Once the computer's booted into Windows it works fine it's only that random time once the computers been off all night could I have a CPU problem? The memory kit is supported by my motherboard I checked on the MSI's site for my board. Hello everyone, I saw on a benchmar site that my config (rtx 3070 / ryzen 5 3600 / 16go RAM) can run Valorant with around 700fps in low 1080p. However, I only have 200fps in the game and they are not satible. They alternate between 150 and 200 fps. Did you have the same problem? Help me please the benchmark link for 700fps : https://www.gpucheck.com/game-gpu/valorant/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070/amd-ryzen-5-3600/

Hello everyone! My PC has a ryzen 5 3600 that I have tried to overclock following Buildzoid guides on YT, maxed out the "safe" voltage at around 1.33v, the highest I got was 4.1 ghz all core but it doesn't last more than 30 minutes running prime 95 before failing. Also tried 4.2 ghz and was able to play some games but it crashes prime instantly so I discarded this one. In both overclocks I sometimes get the overclock related BSODs. I'm trying all of this using a Corsar CX 650w grey label which is currently placed at the B tier in the PSU tierlist and I was wondering if its possible that upgrading to a Tier A Seasonic Focus gm 750w unit would help even a little bit on giving the overclock some stability, I know its not a matter of wattage and that probably is more related to silicon lottery or to the fact that my mobo is kinda bad (aorus b450 elite) but I wanted to know if the PSU that I plan to upgrade to has less voltage ripple and that could contribute to a stable overclock.
