So basically the new AMD Vega 11 drivers were released and I wanted to update my integrated graphics card. I own a Ryzen 5 2400g processor without any graphics card. After I run driver booster (an app I use for updating drivers) and restarted my Pc a weird error occurred. The computer had a bad time turning on and showed a black blank screen. It started after several hours and it worked poorly. Two days later it just started crashing and coming into self-repair while starting but it didn't get me anywhere because a srttrail.txt error has appeared. I also tried the "SFC /scannow" command, fixing a problem with dism but it lead me to more errors like bad system config info. Also, I couldn't run the system in the safe mode due to srttrail.txt error I mentioned earlier. I fought with it the whole night and ultimately I installed Debian on my second disc, cleaned my primary one and installed new Windows 10 64bit. However, it gave me nothing. The same error with drivers appears when I try to install new drivers. I used dedicated AMD software, driver booster, and windows updater itself and I still need to restore my system to the point no drivers were installed every time I try to turn my Pc on. Also, a bluscreenviewer file is attached, maybe it can help a bit. I will be very grateful for any tips on how to fix this. My setup: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz GPU: Radeon Vega 11 Graphics Motherboard: B350 TOMAHAWK (MS-7A34) Ram Corsair 16 gb (2x8gb) 3200mhz Disk 1: WD blue hdd 1Tb Disk 2: Kingstone m2 ssd 500gb bsc.txt

Pls anything helps. Edit: so it turns out AMD drivers don't play very nice with windows 10 update December... I downloaded a June update version (will provide link soon) and it works fine now. Thanks for nothing everyone... Except flokikz77 you actually tried to help and I appreciate it.

So it seems that my CPU is underperforming, some time ago I noticed that my frame rates in games were not great, as low as 50 fps in League of Legends medium settings 1080p and 80 fps in CS:GO in 720p, so I looked it up why that was happening and runned Cinebench R20 and I got these scores, at the single core test the CPU was running at 60° so it's not throttling, since then I tried to fix the issue without success, already tried updating my bios, updating the chipset, resetting the bios and nothing worked so far. Right now I'm running default bios settings, everything at stock speeds, what should I do? Hello, I'm planning to build a PC with a Ryzen 5 2400G, but I don't know if it supports dual monitor without a dedicated GPU.The motherboard model is GIGABYTE B450M-DSH3, it has a HDMI port and DVI-D port. Both of my monitors have a VGA Port. I want to know if I can just simply connect both monitors with some adapters to the video ports of the motherboard.Thank You

So I'm Swarnava Majumder from India, an a student of Animation . Nice to meet everyone here . So for last 3 years I have lived a life without any pc or even laptop (i know it sounds crazy but it is true) but now since I've got admitted in Animation my subject demands a pc so my parents agreed to get me one and as a tech enthusiast I decided to build a pc , a Ryzen build . You may ask why ryzen build : because its more bank for buck . Since i had streaming in my head for quite a while now i decided to go with a 6 core processor ryzen 5 1600 (not 2600 because I'm in a super tight budget of Rs.45,000=$400approx including all peripherals ). I already did research and bought the powersupply and RAM and monitor: Powersupply : Corsair VS 550 (from Amazon) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 3000MHz (also amazon and 3000MHz since ryzen works better with faster memory) . Monitor: HP 22es (from Amazon in an awesome deal) Before I say any further I must say that I will buy a graphics card but not now , next year . But I came to know that ryzen 5 1600 cant run without a dedicated gpu so I got upset and thought of settling with ryzen 5 2400g . But I saw that core i5 8400 has an integrated gpu and also 6cores (need 6 cores for streaming) so after a lot of cost cutting from case , motherboard and ssd I saw i can just afford i5 8400 with some compromise on other areas . SO NOW MY QUESTION IS : Does Intel core i5 8400 support a 3000MHz RAM on a Gigabyte H310M H motherboard ? And thank you soo much to the LTT community, you guys are awesome and also special thanks to Linus for teaching me how to build a pc and being a guru through out my process . Much love from India .

Hi guys! I've been browsing the site for tips and possible options for my first build. I have been using laptops for most of life and gaming with consoles (playstation, 1 to 4) and then one day i was introduced to the wonderful world of PC building and the bug bit me hard! haha! Currently I'm using a 10 year old HP pavilion laptop running vista. I know.. its sad.. haha! Anyways I'm from the Philippines, my budget is somewhere around $500-$600 converted of course. Its just a entry level build with a planned upgrade path. Will be using it mostly for gaming, no intentions of streaming. I chose the parts mostly because these are what I can afford at this moment. I also intend to add a gpu, RX 580 or GTX 1080? but the Nvidia cards are too expensive here. I'm sure the bottleneck will be with the cpu but I wanted start with an apu.. Here the pcpartlist.. i have dedicated gaming rig , now i am considering start streaming games on social media , but would like to keep my gaming rig devoted towards gaming only , that where it comes to consider another low profile setup for streaming purpose only ... i was wondering weather Ryzen 5 2400G would be a good option without a discrete graphics card to stream only . 16gb DDR4 and Ryzen 5 2400G will do x264 encoded streaming in 1080p 60 Fps ... please your thoughts guys

Hey guys, Ill be quick. Building mini-ITX build Ryzen 5 2400G, with RX VEGA 11, And popping in some DDR4's and I was wondering if this CPU gains a significant boost over 3,2 GHz mems. If I popped in IE : 4Ghz, whats the speed difference, between classic 2,4 GHZ DDR4's. I know the 3,2 GHz's is the must. I was wondering if I pushed it farther if the speed benefit on iGPU is worth it. Thanks. I was googling but only found 2,4-3,2 GHz range. Thx for info. ))))

Hello, I am a student and I want a PC for 3D Modelling. My Budget is low, around 600€. First, I would like to ask what I should use for faster rendering on Blender (static images, not animations), CPU or GPU? Also, what is the best option for that workload? I waffle back and forth between the RX 560, GTX 1050 and the CPU portion of the Ryzen 5 2400G.

Hello everyone, I recently bought a new PC with R5 2400G and I am looking forward to OC the iGPU. I am using Ryzen Master, and when I set the frequency of the GPU to 1500MHz and the voltage to 1.16875 and run Cinebench's Open GL Benchmark, all seems fine. But when run the CPU test the temperatures get high (90C). I intend to use the chip for CPU heavy workloads, so I don't want that high temperatures. My PC R5 2400G Be Quiet! Ok so I built my first gaming system without a GPU. Ryzen 5 2400g. Time to upgrade to a GPU and I have no idea what GPU to get. I want 1080p high settings in most games so anybody got a solid GPU recommend that's not too expensive?

I'm planning to build a sub $450 gaming PC. Here's what I have in mind. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fmYFpG This computer will be paired with a 900P monitor, and will only be used to play Fortnite. I already have the monitor and peripherals. My main concern is the RAM. I know dual channel memory works well with integrated graphics, but will 2666MHz be enough? Also, I'd prefer an ATX motherboard. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks for any feedback.

Hi guys, I'm really disappointed at AMD. I have an "AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3600 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) Processor" and it's been a long time since I have this screen losing picture and system won't work any more problem with it, it happens randomly and the system won't work anymore unless I restart it. Today after trying so many different ways to fix this problem I finally have found out that It's caused by the "AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics" driver and after I have disable it from the device manager, it has not happened even once. But here is the problem without the driver enabled I can't use my HDMI audio output, can't use AMD graphic selection in apps and I get screen tearing here and there. I tried so many versions of AMD Radeon Software and now I have the latest version of it installed but the problem still exists to this day and if I enable the "AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics" driver the problem starts again and my pc will lose video output randomly, also if I disable it nothing works correctly. Can anyone help me to fix this problem? Here is the information. Hello, Is the AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon RX Vega 11 GFX worth its price? I've Seen good reviews about the so called APU... It's priced at 169$ but in India it is 191$ (13,799 Rupees) [import taxes] Is it worth buying it in India? My parents won't allow me to buy a Graphics Card because they think that the use of a Graphics Card is only for gaming.. Is it a better option.. It's Cheaper than an Intel Core i5-8500 Buying a Core i5 would also make me buy a Discrete Graphics Card... So is the AMD Ryzen 5 2400G worth its price in India???

Okay so I am in need of advise. Currently my setup includes a Freesync monitor (might affect decision). Anyway my specs are as follows: Ryzen 5 1600 @ 4.1GHZ, R9 290X, 8GB DDR4 @ 3200Mhz. I'm close to selling it for $700-$800 because I need a new car by the time I enter College but I do want to keep gaming so I want to build a budget system with a nice upgrade path later on. Right now I'm looking at getting a setup with an X4 950 (B350 board for all setups) and an RX series card or a Ryzen 3 2200g or 2400g running on the iGPU. I can either upgrade the GPU later, or the CPU to a Zen + or Zen R7 later on. (note I am used to mid range systems and gaming). What would you guys suggest?

Recently built a new PC based on an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, Gigabyte GA-AB350 Gaming motherboard, Intel Series6 M.2 SSD 512GB, using G.Skill Ripjaws 2x 8GB DDR4 3200. Have not tweaked any component speeds higher than what the machine will detect normally. I had to first upgrade the moboard BIOS from the shipped F5 to F22b to get my new Ryzen processor to be recognized; used an A6-9500 to do that. I am doing some testing with this system so I was wanting to install Windows 7 for starters via USB created by tools directly from Gigabytes support site. System will boot with the USB key and go through the first 2 screens with the Loading Windows black and white progress bar at the bottom, loads in seconds, and then it proceeds to the forming of the Windows 7 logo animation which freezes and kicks me to the BSOD stop with an error indicating "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS.STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x0000000000000011, 0x0000000000000008, 0xFFFFFA800C70A388, 0x0000000020120913) I have attempted loading Windows 10 from USB and it completes just fine with no issues. Would like to see what Windows 7 looks like if possible. Any suggestions please and thanks?
