So I'm a first time builder and I've watched hours of YouTube and just cant get a solid answer to which GPU is better please HELP! I'm mostly gonna be playing open world games like rust and ark but also maybe some PUBG List of parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yYf2hq Thanks in advance My options are RX470 4gb or GTX 1060 3gb don't suggest anything better cause i simply cant afford it. I'll probably be playing at 1080p I have a crappy monitor (no g sync or free sync) but might be getting a better one in the future.

Hey everyone! I'm trying think of a configuration for my new Ryzen 3 1200 PC from the price list attached. My budget is around 35000rs, which after excluding taxes comes down to 30000rs. The prices written in the price list are tax exclusive so just try to make sure they add up to below 30000rs. Uses: generally going to be used for web browsing, Microsoft office and movies. Maybe some extremely light games and stuff. I need processor (preferably Ryzen 3 1200), motherboard, case, ram, DVD writer, 120 or 160 gb ssd, psu and graphics card. What I came up with: Ryzen 3 1200 160gb Intel ssd 8gb ram crucial ddr4 R7 250 video card Cooler master/corsair 450w psu DVD writer Asus prime b350ma motherboard Antec gx200 case (looks and USB3.0 in front io) (if there might be any compatibility issues in the build I came up with, pls tell as well ) Ps: if the price isn't mentioned or says "ask" in the price list, ignore that item coz it's usually not available. THANKS! cost-to-cost-price-list.pdf

Alright so I am helping a friend of mine get a newish budget rig going, but here is the problem. Originally he had an old 775 Pentium D that got fried along with the motherboard by a cheap PSU, his HD 4870X2 survived and I need to know if the HD 4870X2 with a Ryzen 3 1200 would outperform a A12-9800 with the R7 IGPU and what the better option would be for playing current games at 1080p. I theorized that since the A12-9800 is running Polaris it would be supported better than the 4870X2 (and use less power) and probably perform better as well, but the only comparison I can find is Passmark and that doesn't seem to be correct as it has the A10-9700 beating the A12-9800 across the board (cpu and gpu).

Would you recommend me to build a Ryzen 3 1200 PC or a Pentium G4560 PC? My budget is quite low, around 470USD. I already have a pretty decent graphics card (Radeon 7770) and I have already selected the parts needed for both of the builds. Here they are: Pentium build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/msnFRG Ryzen build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qj3MzM The Pentium build in my country would cost around $470 and the Ryzen build would cost me around $425 PS: I live in Uruguay, South America, that's why it's more expensive than what you'd get in the USA or Canada. Thanks for you advice!

Hello everyone, I had a question, would a GTX 1660 6GB bottleneck a Ryzen 3 1200 for 1080p gameplay? currently for my area a 1660 6GB is cheaper than a 1060Ti 6GB due to shortage. So should I go for the 1660 or wait till the 1060 is available? Thanks.

Hey Guys, I have a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I wireless card that I've been having a little trouble with. Whenever I put it in a PCIE x1 slot on my MSI X370 SLI motherboard with a Ryzen 3 1200, the board will not recognize it. However, if I put it in a PCIE x16 slot, it works just fine. It's not the end of the world because I have 2 extra PCIE x16 slots that I can use for it, but it would be nice to know why the PCIE x1 slots aren't working. I'm not sure if there's a setting in the bios that I'm missing or what. Any help is appreciated!

I am planing to upgrade to ryzen 3 1200, 8gb ddr4 2666mhz, b450m-k I could choose a320m because its cheaper but on b450m i can OC the cpu. Is it still worth it on 2019.

What will exactly happen if i try to run a cpu like Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300x which doesn't have an integrated gpu and without any help of other discrete gpus ?? Will it run ? Are discrete gpus nessecery for such cpu ? Will it damage the cpu or any other components ? Imagining that, it would not be able to run ....what happens if i had the same cpu with a discrete gpu and the gpu got ded in middle of a program. Will it just crash or does it damage the cpu in any way ? Just curious ?

I have a Ryzen 3 1200 at a base clock of 3.1 GHz and an A320M Gaming Pro Motherboard. In BIOS I changed clock speed to 3.8 GHz with a voltage of 1.3 GHz. I saved and exited BIOS just to find that CPUID, Task Manager, and HWMonitor all display the CPU still being at 3.1 GHz. Changing the clock speed to 3.7, 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3,3.2 GHz didn't seem to change it at all. I don't seen any difference in my CPU benchmarks or test than before so I assume the overclocks aren't applying and the CPU is staying at 3.1 GHz. Any help?

I am looking to build my first gaming pc. I was wondering if a 1050ti and a ryzen 3 1200 are a good pair for 1080p gaming. This is the hardware I have been looking at. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WDsjNQ

I'm looking to buy a Ryzen 3 2200G or 1200 processer coupled with GTX 1050 Ti . Which is the best motherboard to be choose the AM4 ATX B350 or X370 version. I had seen some reviews saying that some of the B350 motherboard Bios is not being compatible with the 2200G model. Even if i upgrade the bios will it meet the same performance like that of the other compatible motherboards ? And i have another question that, is it worth buying a 2200G with an integrated vega 8 graphics even when I'm already opting to use a 1050 Ti or should i go for the less costly 1200 or 1300x models. Is it worth spending the extra money for the onboard vega graphics when i already have a dedicated Gpu ?

So I was planning to use a 2200G for my first build, and then I saw a GT 1030 on sale for $70 at my local store. Is it good to pair it w/a ryzen 3 1200 or should I go for the 2200G? Thanks

So I’ve decided to give Overclocking another try last time it wouldn’t boot and took me forever to reset when I did 3.7ghz at 1.325v. Should I try for 1.35v or dial it back to 3.6ghz. Also when I overclock should I turn of core performance boost in bios?

So I got my Ryzen 3 1200 to 3.8ghz at 1.35v I’m on stock cooling and after 30 mins of running aida64 I got 70c as my max temp I don’t think it would go over this for a while because it hit 70 at 10 mins and had no change for the rest of the test. Is this ok for the cpu? I’ve heard below 75 is fine but there are multiple answers some say under 85 some say 92-95 is the max.

So I want to give manual Overclocking a try again and we’ll i would like to know if core performance boost affects oc stability because I’ve heard various things. I just want to be able to get it to boot because last time I tried I had it on and it failed and I have no idea if it’s the cause.

Hello, I overclocked mine R3 1200 cpu to 3.8GHz at 1.25V set in bios, didn't touched anything else (ASRock AB350M-HDV on the latest bios version). I noticed that mine CPU is change its bus clock to 101.5MHz and the cpu freq gets up to 3,856MHz and sometimes it downclocks to 97.4MHz and the cpu freq drops to 3700,8MHz *all data is from HWInfo64 v5.83-3430*. I ran 1hr Aida64 Stress Test without any crashes or freezes and 1hr RealBench Stress Test without any crashes or freezes, the max temp that cpu hit was 61C on package and 45C on cpu (I guess that is socket), my mobo was under 40C all the time. Is that random bus clock freq change normal or there is something wrong with my overclock?

Hello guys, I have a GTX 1050 Ti with a G3258 CPU. I want to upgrade because of my CPU bottlenecks the GPU. I want to know if I should upgrade to Ryzen 3 1200 and pay $250 because I have to buy a new motherboard and DDR4 RAM but with the opportunity for future upgrades or upgrade to I5 4460 with $160 and chill with my current RAM and Motherboard. What do you think?

Got a gaming laptop from Dell less than a year ago, having some annoyances with it. My transition to PC gaming has been pretty nice. After buying it, I took up quite an interest in computer hardware. I'd like to return it and build my own system. I've decided on pretty much everything except for which Ryzen 3 CPU to use for my $850-ish budget. - Ryzen 3 1200 or Ryzen 3 1300x? Also curious if 2666mhz is a good enough clock speed on my RAM to overclock the 3 1200. Or perhaps the new Ryzen 3 2200g is a better option for processing power alone? Let me know. Component List GPU: GTX 1050 TI (I know there's a GPU crisis but this is the card I'd get anyways) MOBO: MSI B350 Tomahawk SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500gb PSU: EVGA 450w 80+ Bronze RAM: 2x4 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666mhz (Is dual channel necessary?) Case: Rosewill TYRFING Use: I plan to play some CPU-intensive AAA open world titles, GTA V at Medium - High settings, for example. I also play I have a nicely-sized desk, and I'd like to my have the computer on it, and I don't want it to be really loud. Overclocking is on the table for me, but only with stock cooling. So I'm wondering: should I get the 3 1200 and overclock it to 3.9 - 4.0 ghz? Or would it be better in the long term to get the 3 1300x and overclock it a little bit (3.6ghz) or not at all? And if I did that, would performance/framerate in AAA titles be significantly lower? I'll probably upgrade the CPU in 3 years, and I want it to stay healthy for that amount of time. Thanks!

I cant seem to play Napoleon Total War. I just downloaded it over Steam and have never played it ever and its all vanilla game with all the DLCs. It will play the opening logos like Saga and Creative Assembly but as soon as that is done the monitor goes black and shows no signal. The computer will still be running though so i know its not a psu problem. The only thing I can do is hard reset my computer because it doesn't accept any other inputs. I have put my dxdiag in the link. I have tried clean booting my graphics drivers and even reset my pc and wiped everything, also I have tried running it as an administrator and no result. I'm about to return the game if i can't find a solution. PLEASE HELP. DxDiag.txt

Hey, I have been thinking of building a cheap gaming pc. I watched a few videos of $500 gaming build and decided to go with ryzen 3 1200 build , but I live in INDIA. The build that costs 500$ in US costs about 1k$ in India. Then I watched a few videos about cheap gaming pc in India and decided to go with a Intel Pentium g4560 build which was in my budget. But some reviews about g4560 say it is only good for gaming and nothing else like editing etc and would be outdated very fast . Now I want to know that which build is good a g4560 or ryzen 3. KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU MENTION THE PARTS FROM Amazon.in ONLY. ALSO IF A RYZEN BUILD, I WOULD PREFER OVERCLOCKABLE ONE IF IS SOMEWHAT IN BUDGET. Thanks for the replies in advance .

Hey guys, Is it really necessary to overclock your ram to overclock your processor? i have a ryzen 3 1200 cpu and i dont plan to overclock it beyond 3.8ghz. i have seen a lot of oc guides and most of them overclock ram as well. i have an 8gb ddr4 2400 mhz kingston memory which does not have fancy heat spreader to keep it cool, so i was thinking to avoid overclocking the memory. Is it possible to avoid ram oc or is it necessary to do it if i am overclocking my ryzen?

My system Hey guys, i was wondering is my system okay? I know with these ridiculous gpu pricing i just went with an older card till i get enough money for a better one. Also my psu is that enough wattage for my system? Or did i over do it. I know they say to not skimp on your psu so i got a 750w just in case. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pmdBQV

Hey, I'm wondering if I could get some knowledge dropped on me again. I've looked for a few guides and found one with information about how to overclock with the Ryzen master tool but I'm wondering how to overclook my cpu with my bios, I'm pretty new to OC. I received a deal I could turn down for a Ryzen 3 1200 and a gigabyte gaming 3 black Friday, about $130 US, couldn't turn it down since I had an amd fx6350 (I believe) cpu. Anyways, the Gigabyte bios is bit confusing compared to the Asus board I was running. How do the voltage offsets work, the math involved and all, which settings should I be looking to change, I know the cpu clock speed but I don't want to hurt anything with the offsets, and is it worth OC via bios vs Ryzen master tool? And what are safe max temps and voltage for the Ryzen 3 1200?
