I need help! I recently purchased a second hand Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT. I noticed in GPUZ that my clock speeds are low, similar to the launch (non-updated) bios of the card. I did the bios update following the video by sapphire on youtube. But it did not work. The bios won’t update. Everytime I open the batch files the computer just restarts and nothing changes. When I open GPUZ, the numbers are still the same. Anyone have an idea what to do? Thanks! The product number of the card also is in the list of GPU that is compatible with the bios update. 299-4E411-002FC Note: I already tried this bios update before using the same method, same model card, but in this card its not working. Also i noticed, on my other same card the memory type is “Micron”. On the other card that won’t update the bios, the memory type is “Samsung”

So, what is a good price for a used AMD RX 5600xt? I was looking at Facebook and came across one for $150 and was able to talk the person down to $130. Is that a good deal? Okay deal? Too expensive?

Hello, my RX 5600 XT for some reason randomly crashes when playing demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and/or Halo: Infinite. Generally being after a few hours of playing, or hell, today it happened after two minutes while it was just loading Cyberpunk. I have zero clue on what causes these random crashes and I tried everything I could think of: -Update the BIOS -Reseat the GPU -Stress test GPU, CPU and RAM (apparently no issues found) -Update the drivers -DDU the drivers and reinstall them -Update Windows -sfc and DISM to repair damaged Windows components (it did repaired something, not sure what though) -Undervolt the GPU (from 1050-1001mV to 925mV, going lower would cause instability and/or crashes when on heavy load) -Made sure temps don't get too high on any component, especially the GPU -Making sure every component isn't misconfigured (like undervolted or overclocked CPU, misconfigured RAM etc.) Things possibly worth noting: -I store most of my games on HDDs I took from laptops that are connected as internal drives. They're quite slow, but they do their jobs (also, SMART reports nothing bad about them) -The GPU struggles to run Cyberpunk (mostly the only intensive game I'm playing right now) if the Power Limit setting in AMD Radeon Settings isn't set to +20%, it seems that power consumption fluctuates a lot when that setting is set on default making FPS also fluctuate, while everything is stable if I set it to +20% -Scrcpy, which I always run in background, if it stays minimized for a very long time it would really rarely freeze for a bit or freeze the GPU itself until a driver timeout happens (though one of the crashes happened without this program running so I don't think this is the issue) -Nothing weird, like graphical artifacts or slowdowns, happens before a crash, the system would just suddenly die when you least expect it -The only visible pattern between all these random BSoDs is the fact that none of them ever showed up, the system would just crash, freeze on the last frame the GPU was rendering, with looped audio and that's it. Also, the crash is almost always a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, sometimes it was something else but generally it's always this error Besides intensive games, the PC works perfectly fine when playing less intensive stuff and or using it for everyday tasks (I have a Linux Mint partition that I use for everyday tasks, I use Windows only for games) These are the last two memory dumps of the last crash (yeah, Windows saved both a minidump and a normal dump of the same crash, don't ask me why): I really, REALLY, hope it's just a weird software issue and not a hardware one, because if I'll end up doing a RMA of the card I'll be screwed, there's no way I'm getting another one either by replacement via the warranty or buying it (I don't even have the money for it, especially with how bad the market is). I just tried to search my card on Amazon (Italy) and I couldn't even find it, just a bunch of overpriced cards, the closest one I could find was a RX 5500 XT and it costs freaking 1240$, like what the heck. There are issues i'm encountering with selecting either a AMD 5600xt card or an Nvidia RTX 2060 card. Youtubers have not really tackled anything about faulty hardware of the AMD 5600xt card besides performance numbers between other AMD 5600xt brands and performance relative to other GPU models such as 1660S, RTX 2060, and etc. I have been checking more recent reddit forums and reviews but there is not enough information for me to ensure I will not be encountering problems. What really troubles me is that I also know a lot of people are having issues with black screens with the rx 5600xt among other instability issues caused by bad design (and bad drivers?). Another thing is that the 5600XT caught my eyes--especially the ASRock RX5600XT Challenger Pro OC. My initial reaction was that it was the perfect budget for amazing (on paper) specifications. It only costs about $285 (converted from the image below) which is much cheaper than the "most popular" and "best quality" Sapphire RX5600XT Pulse OC variety which is priced at $347 (converted from the image below)-- $62 or 21.75% more expensive! I doubt it would be even worth it to get the Sapphire brand given the price point. I tried digging around with the AsRock card and even when adjusting google filters to more recent posts, there is barely any data available which makes me unsure to begin with (probably since it is relatively newly released as well). But if there wouldn't be any issues such as stutters, black screens, distortions and the like, then I wouldn't mind any performance issues such as card power efficiency, slightly higher temps, and etc. I just felt it's that cheap because there are serious issues such as crashing, else everyone would've snatched it right up or hyped it up. I am not really interested in streaming and all so I don't mind not having better quality encoding that the Nvidia counterpart has--as well as the Ray Tracing technology. But it's more about the noticeable performance issues (crashing, black screens, dots on the screen, resets, laggy, stutters, overheats). Below are the available RTX 2060 cards at our country. Any suggestions on selecting my mid-high range budget card? that provides maximum value in terms of price to performance without instability issues. The day before putting the rx 5600 xt, i had an rx480 running ok. So after placing my rx 5600xt (with pc unplugged) i boot up and get no video signal at all, power to the Gpu is suposedly being delivered since the gpu LED indicator is off, it heats up and fans work now and then. I managed to get signal once, by booting up with my HDMI plugged to the MOBO and then after bootup plugging it to the gpu, i got signal and could type my passwd on the user menu in Pop OS. Then went to settings and Pop Os was detecting my card model correctly. After shutting down I never got it to work again. And cant even enter BIOS since i have no signal at all, not even MOBO logo or OS choosing menu. I tried the GPU on another pc via DisplayPort, and MOBO logo and BIOS are a visible and accesible, but windows bootup also gave black screen. I figured that was a driver or windows issue. So my specs are: -Ryzen 5 3600 -Dual 8gb 2660mhz hyperx ddr4 ram -Asus Prime b450 plus (pci-e 3.0)(not sure what bios version). 2x 1tb western digital blue HDD - Sentey epp750-ps 750w 80plus bronze (5+ years old) - Gygabyte Windforce oc rx 5600xt OS: Dual boot Windows 10 and POP!_Os, one in each HDD. Is the problem a combination of factors? Or is it either Motherboard or old probably unreliable PSU? Motherboard, CPU, and RAM are half a year old or less.

It's been a couple of months since I've built this pc, when I first built it it nothing seems wrong and everything was working correctly. Games such as CSGO runs perfectly with expected frames. However when I started playing Rocket League I've found, I was only getting ~ 100 or so. To make things worse, when I turn the resolution down it only made it run slightly lower for some reason. I'm also getting under 100 frames in League of Legends and somehow gotten less frames in modded Minecraft than my old computer, which was running a Intel 4330 UHD. I've tried several version of the Radeon drivers, including the latest recommended and optional updates. Still no luck. I don't plan to switch nor upgrade my graphics card anytime soon this year, I do plan on getting a new cpu but I don't think cpu bottle necking is the problem. - Full Specs AMD Ryzen 2600 @ 3.6 GHz ASRock B450M Pro4 Gigbyte RX 5600xt OC T Force 16 GB (2x8) @ 3200 MHz EVGA 500 BQ

hi guys, so this has probably been asked lots of times but build : R5 2600 - Asus Prime B350m-a - 16gb 2666mhz ram - rx5500xt 8gb - brand new 750watts 80+gold gpu so the build above works without issue^^^ i went out and bought a gigabyte rx5600xt oc 6gb (brandnew) (did DDU driver uninstall) removed the 5500 installed the 5600 did vbios update + driver on it no issues what so ever. started playing games no issues, untill it started getting random freezes and black screens happening. at anypoint it would black screen or freeze. so i went to try a diffrent driver so i did the DDU uninstall, tried to install it then bang black screen before it finished, and when pc tries to boot again get stuck then black screen again, rinse and repeat. so i remove the 5600 and install the 5500 boots up no issues, ddu old drivers, install 5600 again try to install driver and bang black screen before install. i was thinking of keeping the 5500 for a while then try the 5600 sometime in the future to see if drivers are fixed or should i just return the card? any thoughts ? thanks very much

Hi guys, I was wondering what is preventing me from getting full power out of my new RX 5600 XT. So I actually did some research about it and ended up doing some test by my self, first, here is my "rig": Razer Blade Stealth 2019 (mx 150 25w) - intel i7 8565u 4c/8t 1.8 to 4.6 ghz 15w (long 25w turbo and short 51w turbo) - 16gb 2333mhz - Samsung evo 970 m2 nvme 500~GB - integrated intel hd620 / dedicate nvidia mx150 4gb 25w Razer Core v2 - 500w (up to 350w dedicated to it's GPU) Discrete GPU - Gigabyte RX 5600 XT OC (short version 2 fans edition) - 1750mhz memory speed (up to 1860 with manual OC) - 1780mhz clock speed (not real, always hits 1735, up to 5% more with manual OC) Tested Game: CoD MW 2019 (warzone mode) The problem: Im just reaching what I think is a bottleneck in-game, on stable situation I'm reaching 70~fps almost ultra 1080p settings. - (sort of) Ultra setting 1080p: ingame 34~70fps GPU usage: 55~97% CPU usage: 73~99% battleground training mode 58~80fps GPU usage: 92~99% CPU usage: 47~78% - medium setting 1080p: ingame 40~80fps GPU usage: 55~86% CPU usage: 77~99% battleground trainingmode 62~87fps GPU usage: 56~83% CPU usage: 65~80% - low setting 1080p: ingame 43~84fps GPU usage: 44~73% CPU usage: 79~99% battleground training mode 80~105fps GPU usage: 55~56% CPU usage: 66~84% Some notes: First of all, lowering the resolution wasn´t any good at all... it only make the game looks worst and no real gain in performance. Also, the game acts weird in some scenarios where either the GPU or the CPU is beign pushed (some sort of 70~% usage on both). Another note is, the game actually performs better scaling up the virtual resolution with AMD adrenaline software enable and choosing 1440p, obviously some fps drops but it's more stable all across the band. Another note: GPU heavely underclocks it self when reaching 72°C, so, manually active cooling to take it under 60 most of the time (max 62 under heavy load). CPU temps remains under 77°C, and config fans manually can take it under 73~74°C. Only shows Power Limit Throttling on Intel XTU, and that's because of beign a 15W chip running always at his most stable turbo speed that is 25W. At that power load, CPU runs perfectly above 3.4GHz. I tested: - Undervolting CPU -105mV (Overclock isn't available for this intel's chips, also power upgrades are locked by razer, non bios or overclocking tool allows you to go futher than 25-51w on turbo modes) - Undervolting GPU -200mV - Overvolting GPU +75mV - Overclocking GPU core +5% - Overclocking GPU memory +6% - Unverclocking GPU core -15% - Some different configs at adrenalin software, 1 by 1 enabling and disabling - No FreeSync available since I havn't any screen for that feature - Disabling recording or device share on adrenaline - Disable windows game bar. Yes, I know you lose power on it only by using like an eGPU, but it seems like Im loosing too much, even a game like OverWatch is going heavy bottleneck by this. I also had an MSI GTX 1650 Gaming X to compare and it's so much stable all across the board... yes, it's not going to run this ultra 1080p over 100fps but, on low, and lowering render resolution, it could go over 70~fps easily most of the game. Any thougth on this? What configs am I missing? it seems like I have a very capable GPU but not the right notebook for getting most of his power.

My Sapphire RX 5600XT is displaying 99% utilization in Radeon Settings' Performance tab and in HWinfo, but the temperatures and power consumption seem to be normal for idle load. Is this just an issue with data reporting or is there an issue with my video card?

Hi, I’m in the am let for a new GPU, I was thinking the rx5600xt, but then I saw the EVGA B-stock, it’s basically refurbished EVGA products. So then I saw the RTX 2060 KO for $280. Someone help me decide, if I were to get a rx5600xt I would get the gigabyte model. Any suggestions are welcome!

So I've been having this problem for a while now and its driving me crazy, I just want to play games but I cant ignore this shimmering effect. Does anyone have any tips for toning it down or getting rid of it all together? Ive updated my drivers and reinstalled windows a few times now to no avail. Thanks in advance! Edit: Could a cheap DP/HDMI cable cause things like this? Hi all, I am thinking about buying a RX 5600 XT to replace my current GTX 1060. I stumbled upon this model from Powercolor: https://www.powercolor.com/product?id=1583481410#spe at a very low price (its not the prettiest). I just wanted to know whether or not its worth picking up, since its on sale for around 50 dollars less than any other RX 5600 XT. So basically it just wanted to know if you guys know some issues with it or if you have any experience with it. Hope you amazing people have the time to help me. - Jeppe

I'm having a weird problem with just Warzone. I have an RX 5600xt, when I max out settings I get 120 fps, but when I set them the lowest they possibly can be I only get 130. I have a 144 Hz monitor so I would really like to get my frames up. Is there a setting that I might be missing? I have a Ryzen 5 3600, so my CPU isn't a bottleneck. I am reinstalling the game right now, to see if anything went wrong in the initial installation.
