  1. I'm really in love with NZXT's new Kraken Z63 AIO. The LCD screen is much nicer looking than Asus's Ryuo 240 AIO. The issue I have is that the case I'm planning to upgrade to only supports a 240mm radiator, and the Kraken Z63 is 280. Is there any way to adapt the bracket to be able to hold the 280mm rad assuming that it will physically fit inside the case? The case I plan to use is the the Roswill Prism S-White which allows the AIO to be mounted on the case wall instead of the front panel so it looks like it will physically accommodate the 280mm rad assuming there is some way to get it in there. I suppose I could also spend a little more money on the Kraken Z73 at 360mm and mount it on the bottom but I've never heard of a bottom mounted radiator before - don't seem like the best option airflow wise. Thanks in advance. )
  2. im wondering if i need a radiator for my build ryzen 5 2600x msi b450 tomahawk max evga geforce rtx 2060 ko ultra gaming phanteks p350x 3 rosewill hyperborea 89.5 cfm pwm 140mm(2 in front, 1 on top, default case fan at rear) if u think i need a radiator, pls reccomend me one how much does a radiator improve temperatures?
  3. HI i am a bit stuck between which fan i should get for my case(phanteks p300) the prices are from my region a) ARCTIC P14 PWM 72.8 CFM 140 mm Fan $17.00 b) Rosewill ROCF-11003 - 140mm Computer Case Cooling Fan - Hydro Dynamic Bearing, Silent, 2 Rotation Speeds with PWM Control $23.53
  4. As title suggests, I am having trouble slotting the Corsair H60 radiator into the rear fan slot of my Rosewill Challenger case. I believe the problem is that one of the corners of this slot (bottom right) is curved, therefore not giving enough clearance to the square corners of the radiator. Has anyone else managed to install a Corsair H60 inside a Rosewill Challenger case? I attached a picture of that curved corner. Is it possible to bend or solder this metal to push it out of the way? Another possible cause are these 2 protruding pins (one of which you can see just above that curved corner), but I cannot remove them easily because they have no holes for a screwdriver (possibly soldered pieces). In the other photo, you can see the radiator placed in the slot, but there is a gap in the top left where it is not flush with the case due to whatever is obstructing it. Because of this, I cannot screw it in as the screw holes are not aligned.
  5. I've been looking for a new mech board and mouse, and I've come across this: The Rosewill NEON lineup. They are a mechanical board and gaming mice that seem too good too be true. The mice boast RGB, a PMW 3325 sensor which is decent, 6 or 8 buttons for anyone who needs them, software, and for $21.99 AUD! It's the same kinda story with the boards, Kahlil browns or blues, full RGB, again software, wrist rest, 3-way cable slot, and again for $69 AUD! Seems too good to be true, but then again Rosewill is a reputable brand, or so I've heard. If anyone has an opinion or has used them before, lemme know in the comments! (And thanks in advance ofc)
  6. I have a Rosewill tyrfing, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to paint the inside of my case. It's black on the inside and outside I want it white. Should I use high temp spray? How many coats on inside and outside?

  10. So, I got the Newegg deal for the Rosewill Capstone 750W, about 80 bucks IIRC, but I have found a deal to get the Corsair CX750 for about $73. Am I right in thinking I may as well return the Rosewill and go for the CX? Any angles I'm missing here?
  11. *I know it's a bit budget on some parts but I'm getting a lot of it for an incredibly cheap price.* ======================================================================= ======================================================================= Anyway I would like to know if all this should be fine together as I'm building a new PC, thanks! *Intel i5 760 @ 2.8 GHz (planning on overclocking to at least 3.4+ GHz) *EVGA Geforce GTX 770 Super Clocked with EVGA ACX Cooler, 2GB *700 watt Power Supply *8GB DDR3 Ram @ 800MHz *Asus p7h55-m Pro Motherboard *2 x 1TB SATA III Hardrive *Rosewill Edition Gaming ATX Mid Tower - BLACKHAWK Blue *Some Standard Thermaltake CPU Heatsink *Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit I will be using all 5 fans in the included case and obviously the 2 on the graphics card. The main thing I'm worried about here is the processor as it's quite old and I'm not sure if it may bottleneck my GPU. If you think it will, do you believe upgrading to an i5-4690k will do any better or be worth it? =========================================== *Any other information you want me to include, just ask.* ! ! ! 13. Ok guys here is a list for a new build im doing for my personal rig. This is a preliminary list of parts because i will be upgrading most of it later on and adding watercooling as well! Because i have so many things to upgrade i will likely post two build logs in the build logs section. One of this list and one of the upgraded list. The theme (if you cant tell) is dark and dangerous...like a dungeon! Case: Rosewill Throne, Black Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 CPU: Intel i5-2500k (will be upgraded to i7-3770k) CPU Cooler: H80i GPU: nVidia GTX 480 (old and soon to be upgraded to 7XX) RAM: 8gb Corsair XMS3 @ 1600mHz (will be upgraded to 16gb of Vengeance @ 1866mHz) PSU: XFX XXX PRO 650W 80+ HDDs: 500gb WD Blue and 250gb hitactchi SSDs: (Soon to be added) At some point a custom liquid cooling loop will be added to this build when all the upgrades are completed. I expect to use swiftech gear. Tell me what you guys think and be sure to look for the build logs to come!

  16. Hey there community, Six months ago, the crew uploaded the video "Under $150 Budget Gaming 8 Core CPU, Motherboard & 16GB RAM". I became really intrigued by this idea, because I use a program called Maxwell Render which heavily relies on cpu processing, and chose to take this challenge on. I have been searching ebay, server supply warehouse, craigslist, and Newegg for all of my components for this build. From the mentioned venders, I have been able to pick up; HP Z800 dual socket motherboard Two Intel Xeon E5520 16 GB of HP certified ECC DDR3 Ram 128 GB ADATA SSD AMD R7770 Black Edition graphics 750 80+ Bronze Rosewill Arc PSU Because this was my first "ground up" build, I did some research on what else I needed since the mobo doesn't have standard connections for mounting as well as for power connectors. I found a website, here, that I followed as best I could. Instead of splicing wires and making my own adapters, I purchased a premade harness that split the 24pin down to the required 18 pin, for power, and 10 pin, for memory. Once I had all of my components placed in their home and cables connected securely I connected my monitor to the digital DVI port on the graphics card, because the mobo doesn't have dedicated graphics, and powered the system on. Everything appeared to be working properly but it failed to post. I powered down the system, double checked that my ram was in their correct slots and removed one of the cpu's to see if that would change anything. This had no effect and also didn't post. Thinking that it may be the graphics card drawing too much juice from the PCI gen 2, I swapped for my tester gpu, EVGA GeForce 210. Connecting that to the other monitor that I have, which is vga, also failed to post. I haven't pulled out a multimeter to check voltage rails given off by the PSU, but any and all comments and suggestions are welcome.
  17. Semi-Modular. Definitely a boon for building and cable management. I would never go non-modular. While full-modular would've been perfect, especially with custom cables, all of that is money I'd rather spend on other parts of my setup. 550 watts. It's plenty. As I've said before, high wattage is overrated. 550 is enough for even a 1080 Ti and video cards will never get hungrier than that. Build Quality. A little bit on the cheap side, but it's not a problem. It functions well. Reliability. I waited 7 months to write this review. So far, it's going quite well. No issues whatsoever. Noise. It ranges from quiet to slightly noisy depending on load. The noise won't be a problem for most PC's; it's still more quiet than many others out there. In my build that focuses on silence, it is the loudest part at full load, but that doesn't say a lot. The most dedicated silent-heads will want another PSU, but most other enthusiasts won't find issue with this power supply. Fan Modding. It uses a non-stand 2-pin fan. I originally gave it a 140mm fan that was hooked up to my motherboard to try to reduce the noise. It worked well for a few months with no problems, but ultimately I decided to just put its original fan back in. I would assume there are bett designed 2-pin fans that would work with it. Good PSU for the money. 7.5/10

  19. Anyone know of rails that will fit the Rosewill RSV-R4000 that are sliding rails? I'm looking to go rack mount instead of having it lay on my floor in my guest room and all the rails I see online are meant for specific server case's. It's a 4U case at I think standard width but my rack will have adjustable depth so if I get a super long case in the future it will still fit. Thanks ahead of time. 21. Hi, does anyone know where I can get my hands on the Rosewill Legacy MX2-SILVER case in the UK? Or with relatively inexpensive shipping from somewhere else. I have scoured the internet for this case and can't seem to find it in stock anywhere. Does anyone know if they have discontinued it?
  22. This may be a noob question, but it has stumped me so I'm hoping you all can help me figure it out. A few years ago I bought a Rosewill Stealth ATX Mid Tower as part of my first real build. It, among other things, features 2 "fan controllers" at the top. They are these sliders with high, medium, and low. They appear to connect to the rest of the fans via both molex connectors and 3 pins. I really wasn't sure how to integrate them into my network of fans when I first did my build, so I just left them disconnected and power my fans directly from either the motherboard or the power supply. They very quietly and my temps remained low. Fast forward to today, where I have now bought 2 Rosewill 120mm RFA case fans (red of course). My main goal was to increase airflow and add more Red LEDs. So I connected (using the included 3pin to molex adapters) them to the same chain that was powering the front 2 fans. Everything powered on well, but my new fans are spinning really fast, so they are noticeably loud (not launch day ps4 loud, but, oh my computer actually makes sound loud). Therefore, I want to set them up with the fan controllers, and lower the speed, since right now I really don't need them blowing exhaust 3 small freedom units above the case. Please let me know if anyone has any experience with these fans, this case, or similarly designed fan controllers in general, and if you all have any suggestions. Thanks! UPDATE: Success! I switched up my internal wiring so that the molex connectors from the PSU now feed the controllers, and the 3pin connectors (2 for each controller) go to my sets of fans. Now, I can separately control the speeds of my top fans and my front fans. The others are connected directly to the motherboard. Thanks for the help!
  23. Hello everyone, i recently bought a rosewill rdcr 11004 (internal sd card reader) the other day and do not know which correct cable to get. The rosewill rdcr 11004 has two molex (first pic) connectors coming out of it, i attached a Y molex connector to those two (second pic) and realized i need a third molex connector (third pic) in order to get to the power supply, to power the rosewill) Will this third molex connector work? (third pic) thank you
  24. Rosewill Neutron Review Pricing (US): http://goo.gl/VnsLbK Pricing (UK): N/A Pricing (CA): http://goo.gl/iROhY2 I decided to venture into the mini ITX world since it has become more affordable lately. I also wanted a smaller form factor in order to take my computer to college with me next semester, especially since my other case (Rosewill ARMOR-EVO - an E-ATX case) was way too big for proper traveling. I also needed one that supported a full length graphics card. I decided upon the $40 Rosewill Neutron. I've had this case for about 2 weeks now and I can give you guys a good insight on the case. I have a video review as well as a text-based review. Enjoy! Video Review Text Review The first thing you notice about the Neutron is its size. It is a lot bigger than other mini ITX cases (actually weighs 24 lbs) and rivals mini/mid towers in size. Unfortunately, it only supports mITX motherboards despite its large frame. I'm guessing Rosewill did this to segue people into the mini ITX world easily because smaller chassis can be difficult to work with. Just remember that you are sacrificing some portability for a bigger size. Specifications Color: Black Case Material: Steel Motherboard Compatibility: mini ITX Bays: Up to 3 3.5" and/or 2.5" Storage Devices. Optical Drive Bay Front Panel Ports: 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 Cooling: Up to 6 fans, 120mm & 140mm support. 3x140mm pre-installed Dimensions: 15.4" X 9.9" X 15.8" Weight: 24 lbs Max GPU Length: 13.3" (full length GPUs) Design/Outside The case itself has a very sleek and simplistic design. It comes off as very clean and looks even better with the front LED fans installed. The front of the case is a removable dust filter that is slightly magnetic and has a very satisfying click to it when you slip it back on (trust me, you'll love it). After opening the front, you are greeted with 2x140mm LED fans. They move air well, but they are pretty dang loud. I have a sound test in my video if you are interested around the 1:40 mark. A bad thing about these fans is that they are hard to uninstall - part of the case blocks one of the screw ports, so you will need a lot of time and patience to get these things out unfortunately. The front IO ports work fine, but they are very "sticky." There is no fluid motion when plugging in and plugging out a device. It's a "yanking" motion, and sometimes I feel like I'm doing to break one of the ports whenever I plug something in our take it out. Be aware of that. The top of the case has another honeycomb mesh design and supports 2x120/140mm fans. It officially supports up to a 240mm radiator, but I believe you can also fit a 280mm radiator in there as well. You may need to tweak the case a bit though. The back of the case has 2 GPU slots for your graphics card (meaning that if you have a tri-slot card, it won't fit). The power supply sits sideways in order to maximize space and you also have an option for a 120mm fan on the bottom right of the case. The spot for the fan is in a very awkward position so installing it won't be easy. A 140mm fan is pre-installed at the top. This is also where I put my radiator for my water cooler. The left of the case has a VERY strong magnetic dust filter for the power supply - I had trouble removing this at first. On the right of the case is a small window that shows off that full length GPU (hoorah!!!). It's one of those "make your dick feel bigger" type things that I like about this case. The window itself is made of plastic so it does not really keep finger prints, but it can be a dust magnet. Inside Most of the case has removable items, and you will need to remove a lot of things (and install parts in a certain order) in order to complete your build. For me it was more trial and error before I figured it out, but I will let you know now how I think you should install your items in this case: ALL Fans, water cooler radiator, power supply, hard drives, motherboard w/ everything BUT the GPU, front panel headers, GPU Make sure you install the graphics card last or you will find yourself pulling out your hair. Anyway, I somewhat digress. The motherboard tray is right side up & removable (oh gee, what a shocker), which I like. I think that should be industry standard in smaller cases because it simplifies installation. No low profile coolers are needed since you have a lot of clearance in this case. The tray itself has rubber grommets for cables, but it is a bit trolly on Rosewill's part. The bigger grommets work just fine, but the smaller ones are often blocked by the GPU and blocked by the hard drive bay below it, so it is almost useless at times. Why Rosewill designed it like this? The world will never know, but makes cable management harder (and it is already bad)... The hard drive bay works fine. You will need to remove it in order to install your storage devices because the 140mm fans are in the way. It uses lockless screws for easy installation. The bay itself is right in front of the fan at the back, so make sure you install that fan before installing the actual bay. Cable Management One word to describe cable management: mediocre. You have so much space in this case (you really do - I have a water cooler, a full length graphics card, and 3 fans installed and I still have a lot of room left), yet there is absolutely no where to put your cables. Zip ties and twist ties will only get you so far. You're going to have to dump them somewhere because it is not doable. Conclusion The Rosewill Neutron is definitely a solid case for what it offers. At the price of $39.99, it is more than worth it. It has the air flow, space, and features that make it a great buy. Although this is true, there are a few design flaws here and there that can get to some people. Regardless, for under $60, it is a solid case. For more than that, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
