Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z590-E CPU: Intel i9-11900k RAM: G.Skill RipJaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) (PC4-32000) CL15-16-16-36 1.50V Model F4-4000C15Q-32GVK GPU: AMD Radeon RT 6950 XT HDD: 990 PRO 2TB https://pcpartpicker.com/user/paradoxumlexx/saved/syDkf7 To spare the long story I've decided to stick with this setup for as long as possible (years), money needs to go to my 80TB unraid server for a while and this thing breezes through anything I've tried so far. Anyway I watercool and I like to overclock. 51/2core 50/5core 49/6 core 1.490vcore I could probably lower my CPU temps but it's stable right now so I wanna play with the ram. I've found eg; https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper/blob/oc-guide/DDR4 OC Guide.md But I really don't have time to learn all of that. As in I'm generally busy with other stuff and it's far too much info for me especially cause it's numbers and ADHD etc. But I do want to eventually understand it and be able to tweak my own ram without referring to guides or copying random peoples timings I find online. I got this with exactly stock XMP settings and just changing 36 to 28 (which I did by accident actually heh). Just give me a few secondary timings and recommended changes and why etc, somewhere to start and I'll play with those. What program should I use in windows to display or even modify timings? Thanks!

DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) PC3200 CL16 G.Skill RipJaws V black: This is the exact description I got from the computer store where I bought my hardware. This is the rest of my setup: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6x 3,7Ghz 35MB AM4 WAK Corsair iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX 280mm MB ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming X570 AM4 WLAN+BT DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) PC3200 CL16 G.Skill RipJaws V black=> running only at 2133Mhz SSD Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 1TB NVMe FRACTAL-DESIGN DEFINE 7 Black Dark-TG Fenster PCIe EVGA GEFORCE RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra Gaming 8GB GDDR6 After I built the system and set everything up I tried enabling the DOCP Profile in the BIOS -> Crash on POST (maybe? at least before the BIOS pops up) -> stuck in cycle of Blackscreens. Cleared CMOS-> now running at 2133 again. Checked the exact RAM sticks I got and see, that they are this type: F4-3200C16D-32GVK This type is not listed in the QVL What in the lords name can I do? heeelp meee I forgot this: The system was already running at 3200 MHz stable (I used it for a week), before I switched out my main boot drive. I have no idea why it stopped working and so I restored default values for the BIOS

I'm using an AMD Radeon RX6600 GPU, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb RAM (x2) and for some reason, having both sticks in will make my GPU completely refuse to boot. I've tried using each stick in each slot (both one at a time and both sticks at once) and nothing works. I've not seen anyone else have this issue, and it can't be due to the RAM since the first time I booted - it worked perfectly fine.

Hello, unfortunately I have a problem to which I could not find a solution on Google. I built a new computer last year and a few months ago I found out that the task manager of my Windows system has my memory clock speed set to 1067 MHz. At first I thought that I ordered the wrong RAM, but this was not the case. Then I went to Google to find out why I didn't find my expected value (3200 MHz). There I found statements like "This value must be calculated two times" and "This is SPD RAM". But if I calculate the value from the task manager times two, I get 2133 MHz? Shouldn't it be 3200? So I have checked the timings of my RAM via. CPU-Z. These are actually at 1066.4 MHz. On further googling I tried to solve the problem via A-XMP, if I got it right this feature enables the automatic over/clocking of CPU/RAM. I then set this profile to 3200 MHz (16-18-18-38-56) and activated it. After starting my computer the task manager showed the correct value of 1600/3200 but I had to realize that my computer freezes completely several times a minute for about one second. Why? I am appreciate any help or explanation! Here are my specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x Memory: 32GB G.Skill RipJaws V Black DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit Motherboard:MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS AMD X570 So.AM4 Dual Channel DDR4 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER PSU: 600 watts be quiet! I just finished my first build and found out that only one of the two RAM sticks were detected. After few minutes of experimenting, I find out that one ram stick wasn't working in any of the slots. While other was working in all four of them.(yes I tried every combination with each) What should I do? Replace it?

does it work flawlessly or do you need to adjust something in the bios or is 3200mhz underclocked with no way of overclocking it back up? here's the link : https://www.amazon.in/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-288-Pin-Platform-F4-3200C16S-16GVK/dp/B0171GQXME?tag=googinhydr18418-21&tag=googinkenshoo-21&ascsubtag=b0f257ea-fd5b-4676-93a4-e4f3cbf4c72c

Hello everyone. So my build was an i5 6500 (planning to upgrade it later), GA-Z170X-UD3 and a 2x4 ddr4 ripjaws IV at 2666mhz, which i set to that frequency with no problems, and was fine for about 9 months now. But yesterday I found a sale and bought 2x8 ripjaws V @2800 mhz. I removed the 2x4 ripjaws and replaced them with the new ones, set them to 2800 and then computer won't turn on, with the message attached on display. I tried changing slots (from 2 and 4 to 1 and 3, wich are the selected for dual channel), removed battery to reset bios (message appeared saying that bios settings were reset) then changed againt xmp to 2800, but this mf keeps appearing and setting my memories to 2133. Any suggestions? thanks in advance

Hey all, I have 8 Gb g skill ripjaws ram in my pc now running at 1600mhz, i checked the ram specifications when I bought it and it says it can go upto 2133mhz now my question is can I overclock just the ram without overclocking the cpu, my ram seems to be the bottle neck because when im playing games and alt tabbing to discord or my browser, it lags like hell. also i was checking frequency and stuff in the bios i can increase it upto 2400mhz and bclk only had 2 options 100:100 and 100:133 and auto, its set to auto but idk what the other 2 options mean. I only have 8GB so is it worth it to overclock or buy 2 more sticks. its ddr3 btw my motherboard is asus z97-k I think this is my memory stick: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231654&cm_re=gskill_ripjaws_ddr3_2133mhz-_-20-231-654-_-Product

So I seem to have a problem with ram compatibility, or at least I came to this conclusion. Motherboard: MSI x470 Gaming Plus CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X RAM: G.Skill RipjawsV DDR4 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz I bought ram as 2 kits, containing 2x8 sticks each. So I have 4x8 currently. Google does say that this ram indeed works with this processor, but I never actually got it working stable. I've taken pictures of every single blue screen that ever happened, and the weird thing is - these ram work as a kit of 2 sticks. It works in any slot of the motherboard, tried it one by one, kits of 2 (even mismatched), and even with 3 ram sticks installed. I updated everything that was possible to update, re-installed windows 4 times by now, tried older versions of Windows 10. Every single stick works in every slot, but it won't work after the 4th stick is installed. Then I am getting a lot of crashes, from Direct X related, to "Memory_Management" and so many others. All the parts are brand new, and I am currently using 2 sticks of ram, for the past month without any crashes. Yet, after adding another 2 sticks, PC won't stay on for too long, will be BSOD'ing soon. Somewhere between 30 seconds and 12 hours. (Yes, it held up quite a few times for about 12 hours). I even changed the PSU to a way more powerful one, from a 500w one to a 850w one, if not enough voltage was the problem, turns out - not. I did try to change the voltage a few times, change the speeds, but then it won't be stable even with 2 sticks. Currently it is running at 2133MHz with 2 sticks installed. I even thought they might overheat, bought way better case coolers for this, and now everything stays nice and cool inside - still did not fix anything. When it did work for 12 hours, I did benchmark everything, all 32 gigs of ram worked perfectly when using them at a 100%, even when using CPU at a 100% at the same time. Then I might be just browsing YouTube, or literally doing nothing, PC could be just idle - and it would blue-screen, without any explanation as to why. I'm out of ideas by now, nothing left to update, out of money to buy another ram or another MB. All I know that I bought 32 gigs of ram, and I can only use 16 of those. Yet no matter which ones, they just don't work as a 4 stick kit, for some reason. Anyone have any clues or ideas what do to? P.S. I attached a few of the blue-screens, yet keep in mind I got over 50 of them, and most are different. Nearly every time it does that, it's something different.

So right now my CPU (i5 7600K) is being cooled by a H5 Ultimate which sadly is interrupting the use of one of my DIMM slots making adding another set of RAM impossible. I am considering buying another set of RAM but need to deal with the cooling issue first. Would it be very detrimental to temperatures to either A) Move the fan to the opposite side; or B) Rotate the air cooler. Currently the fan is doing intake for the air cooler.

okay so I spilled soda on my keyboard about a week ago. I went through and cleaned the affected, sticky switches with rubbing alcohol and a Qtip however my keyboard has a volume wheel in the top right corner, it feels very sticky and it kind of grinds a little when I turn it. could there be soda in the turning mechanism? or did the rubbing alcohol possibly remove the grease on the spinning parts? I just need to know if regular mechanical keyboard grease could be applied to this or if it would cause some form of problem with the wheel and mess it up. also I know this sounds really weird but there's still some sticky keys, would my keyboard be able to be put in the dishwasher. the model is RIPJAWS KM780 MX and it's featuring MX brown switches. I know that the dishwasher method is dangerous but I'm VERY specific about my keyboards tactile feedback and the soda is on the inside peg of the switch, making it nearly impossible to get it loose without bathing the thing in something.

I'm currently trying to figure out what die my memory uses. I have G.Skill's Ripjaws V 3200MHz (F4-3000C15D-16GVKB). I would appreciate if someone were to just tell me, but it would be more helpful to know where to find this information (I will need to find this info for other RAM kits soon). I didn't see it listed anywhere on G.Skill's product page. Thanks for the help

Budget (including currency): Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Sorry to bother you but I have a question: I want to build a computer with the following specs: MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE EATX AM4 Motherboard AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 3.5 GHz 16-Core Processor G.Skill Ripjaws V 128 GB (4 x 32 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory And here is the problem. I know that the G.Skill Ripjaws V is 42mm. The bequiet Dark Rock Pro 4 has a 40 mm clearance so this will not fit. The Noctua NH-D15 in dual fan mode provides only 32 mm RAM clearance but you can move the second fan. Does the RAM fit with the second fan from Noctua?

So I know this is very specific, but I'm looking to upgrade my PC, and I just need to know whether my RAM will fit into the MoBo slots The MoBo I'll be getting is the Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 and the RAM is 16gb (4x4gb) of G.Skill ripjaws V series in quad channel The only reason I'm asking this is because on the PCPartPicker list it gave me a warning about POSSIBLY not being able to fit all the RAM. So I just need to find whether they will, and if not I'll just get different sticks I know there probably won't be many people if anyone with the same configuration as me, but any help at all is helpful! PCPartPicker list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/6TvTmq (ignore the Ryzen)

Hey. I ordered a GA-AB350M-DS3H motherboard for my ryzen 2200G APU. I found a fast ram stick (2800MHz ) for cheap : G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB DDR4-2800MHz (F4-2800C17S-8GVR) I looked in the motherboard website, and the exactly specific module is not listed in the "supported memories" . However, the supported ones look very similar and I thought maybe they just didn't test it or something since it doesn't seem like the most popular one out there.. I also saw people using this ram successfully with ryzen. So what do you say, should i go for it?

I have just bought and installed my new kit of ram which is the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb @3000Mhz CL15 (15-17-17-35) [1.35 Volts] and I was wondering if I could combine my old stick of ram which is the GSkill Ripjaws 4 Series 8gb stick @2133Mhz CL15(15-15-15-35) [1.2 Volts]. I was just curious if I could just install my old 8gb stick of ram with my two 8gb sticks of ram to make a total of 24gb.

Hello, I just installed G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB, F3-14900CL10D-16GBXL) on my ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard. When I load XMP 1.3 profile 1 or XMP 1.3 profile 2 in the BIOS, the timing is set to 10-11-10-29. However, on the packaging and website specifications, the timings should be 10-11-10-30. The system boots fine with the default settings. I manually changed the timing to 10-11-10-30 and it works as well (although I haven't done any extensive testing yet). Is what I did correct? Thank you.

Hi There, Just looking for some troubleshooting help with my RAM. I just finished swapping out a crappy dead PSU and upgrading my fans and now the red RAM light is on and my pc won't post. I haven't been able to use my computer the last week because last Tuesday I was gaming when my computer suddenly crashed. At the time before it crashed nothing was wrong with the RAM. Anyways so now I've just spent the last 4 hours taking out all my old fans, installing new ones, re-did my cable management entirely (the guy who built my computer made an absolute mess of things), and installed the new PSU. After fiddling for 45mins trying to get the case closed I finally felt like I was done and was super excited to get back on my computer after so long.. but nope! RAM light is on and it won't post. It definitely has power, all the lights, fans and everything turn on and I can see it try to boot.. but as it turns on it checks the CPU, RAM, GPU, etc.. and has little lights on the mobo that go green when everything is okay.. The RAM light is solid red though.. I've tried taking them out and reinstalling them but no luck. pressed the MemOK! button after but still no post and the light goes back to red! This was my first time ever working on my own computer and everything went pretty good except this last hiccup.. Could it be possible that when my PSU died it fried the RAM or something? I have a window on my case and when the PSU died there was a flash or something that I only saw out of the corner of my eye. Something was bright for a second but when I turned it was already dark.. Not sure if the PSU even has anything to do with it but I figured I'd let you know since it was working before I did these recent repairs/upgrades. Also thanks in advance for any help! Even if its just any thoughts/ideas that come to mind, doesn't have to just be a solution! Any feedback you can give me is appreciated!
