Budget: >100 (not including case) What RGB fans should I get, I want them to be ICUE compatible. I have a Gigabyte B450M DS3H mother board and a 5600x. Im playing to upgrade my case to a Corsair 4000D Airflow. What fans should get I. I am including controllers or hubs.

Ive had this problem since last night after plugging in a wired rgb headphones and it changed the rgb of the fans and I couldnt change it to a different rgb setting using the rgb controller on the top io. After putting my pc to sleep and turning it back on, the pc fans weren't lighting up at all. I use asus armory crate to control my ram rgb and my fans cant be controlled with armoury crate. The case and fans is the lian li 205 mesh. Please send ways to fix this issue

So I can't control the included RGB fans of the NZXT X73 that's currently connected to my MSI X570 UNIFY. As far as I can tell I have EVERY available plug inserted into the right slot, and the fans themselves are evident or that because that do light on, There just, very dimm. BUT I have no way to control them, Not via NZXT cam or even the Motherboards MSI dragon software. I'm stuck in a tough spot, and have got no better answer of how to fix this. Suggestion or past experience please!

So I've been trying to get my friends computer up and running for him, and have thus discovered that his corsair RBG fans have 4pin ARGB connectors sticking out of them. this has been been causing me a bit of a headache as of late as the motherboard does not have any 4pin ARGB headers(or any RGB headers for that matter) and despite googling for all my might, I cannot find a single hub or controller of any kind as from what I've been able to ascertain, these fans require a 12V supply for the RBG but everything and their mother is running off of 5V. I do have a Corsair commander pro that is being utilized to power the fans however with seemingly no way to get it going with the RGB, I am asking you good people. Please. Is there any way for me to get this Christmas tree shining?

Hello, I recently bought the corsair carbide 175r (case) and it comes with an RGB Fan, however, i don't have rgb headers on my motherboard, therefore i cannot use it. I'm just wondering, if i buy one of those controllers on aliexpress or ebay, will these work with corsair rgb fan? it's not iCue, it's just one that comes with the case. examples: 5v usb mini rf17 Coolmoon rgb controller

Hi there, I had an old prebuilt lying around so i decided to take it apart and do a case swap and some upgrades. But the problem i've come across is that there are no fan headers on the motherboard from what i can see. This is my first time doing this so i am a bit lost. Am i wrong about no fan headers being on the motherboard or not? If im correct what could i do to get the fans working with that motherboard? Hey guys, I currently have a MSI B450 Tomahawk II in a NZXT h510i that has the smart device hub with the 2 stock black case fans. Was thinking of getting a set of 4 RGB fans to replace them and add to case. With what I've seen online the Tomahawk does not has aRGB headers so no luck there but it does have 4 pin PWM headers available. How can i add RGB fans with this setup? Heya guys, Not sure if anyone was waiting for it, but the last time I heard, Lian-Li's new Unifan design was supposed to come out "Q2 2020." That was last reported in CES this january before COVID really took off over at their factory area. So I though, hey, why not send a message and see if they would tell me either an updated release window or maybe even a date. Case: Phanteks P400A MOBO: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Please help I've been struggling for hours trying to connect my RGB fan cables.

Hello. I just bought a case with 3 rgb fans and I can't controll their speeds and they run at full speed and they are annoying and loud. I just read on the internet that I need to plug the 5v 3 pin cable into the motherboard to control fan speeds, but my motherboard doesn't have a 5v 3 pin connector and I couldn't find an adaptor on the internet (to 3 pins or 4 pins). Does that even exist? Or how should I control the fans' speeds? Btw my mobo is an MSI h81m-e34

So, from a review video I have seen on youtube, Corsair SP120 fans has a separate 4 pin connector for "RGB Control". It is supposed to be plugged in to the rgb fan controller, but is it a standard r-g-b-ground 4-pin connector used with LED strips, or is it some proprietary connector? Also, if it is a standard RGB connector, could I connect them to an ASUS motherboard with support for ASUS aura? Thanks!

Ok so I have a ASUS Prime B450M-K Motherboard and I’ve recently just bought a msi case that has an RGB fan and I want to make it light up. How can I make it light up the fan is a 3pin and I’ve looked on the mother board and it can’t plug into anything. So I did some digging and found these things they are a 4pin to sata cable controller thing and I was wondering if I bought the 4pin controller thing and just plug the 3pin fan cable would the fan light up or do I need to do something else?? Please help ? i have put photos of the case, motherboard and the 4pin to sata thing

Hey guys, asking help for a friend since she's too lazy to make an account here. What do you think of her case fan setup? Is it efficient enough? Her fans are some cheap 1200rpm ARGB fans from a brand called Starnex. I think it only costs 10$ for 3 fans, 1 led strip, and the hub + remote Any thoughts? I find her RGB fans weird since it's only at one side but rest assured they can all be changed color through the hub and remote ? I also find her fan positioning unorthodox but I'd really like to hear from you guys since I'm not really an expert when it comes to PC building hehe

I am getting the darkflash phantom case. The one with 6 rgb fans. Basically going off the Darkflash I5 phantom build. And the motherboard has one rgb header. I also have a Darkflash 240mm liquid cooler. So 8 rgb fans. How do I fit them all in one header? Do I need to? Is there a splitter needed

But when i plug on « rgb » pine, it doesnt Work . Do i need to use « cooler master rgb controller » (photo 3) for control rgb lightning ? thank all ! ?

I have these fans that came with my new case And I have two of these RGB lighting kits The power connectors for the strips and the fans look the same, and they are both 12 volt from what I can see, but I feel like connecting the fans to the power brick might blow something out. Is this likely to happen or am I good to go?

hi ! first of all sorry for my bad English and my noob question. I'm not really a techie like I used to be. I got left behind with the tech stuff after windows xp was launched. got busy with other stuff. ? Anyway regarding the RGB headers. I have a gigabyte z370m d3h motherboard and it has one RGB header. without checking the manual I went out to buy a RGB fan (ID Cooling ZF12025) to go try it out. So when I got home and plugged the fan I can't seem to control the lighting effects with RGB Fusion. So I checked the manual about the rgb header it says led strip header. so I'm kinda confused now i thought RGB header was kinda universal like I can plug fan or rgb led strip. when I checked gigabyte website it says it only "RGB Fusion supports RGB LED strips in 7 colors " So my question is are there two or more kinds RGB headers ? or are they a universal thing? I also checked other motherboards like Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming for quite an expensive board this one also have rgb led strip header but I dont see any rgb fan header.

Hello, this is my first review, and in this review im talking about the Bitfenix Spectre Pro RGB 140mm. TLDR is down below, lets begin. In the age of rgb fans, it is immensly difficult to find a good rgb 140mm fan with a 4pin rgb connector, instead thermaltake, corsair etc all use proprietery cables, so you have to use their software. I find the onboard software on my gigabyte board enough, so no need to download extra programs. So i was immensly intrigued when i found a fan at my local store, which had ASUS aura support, which means that the fan has a standard 4 pin rgb connector. It also was cheap for an rgb fan at only 18€, all the Corsair and Thermaltake and NZXT etc RGB 140mm fans were all over 30€. So what is in the box? In the box is 4x screws, 4x rubber screws, 4x rubber groments, 1x molex to 4pin (mine didnt work, the fan didnt spin), 1x rgb cable and thats the lot. Why am i mad? Because there is no Low Noise adaptors as said on the box, so whats up @Bitfenix ? The importance of that adaptor comes out further down the review. So lets talk about "silent operation" as said on the package. FAN NOISE The fan claims silent operation on the package and 22.8 db. For comparasions sake i will compare it to the fan i replaced with, BeQuiet Pure wings 2, a two times cheaper fan (9€ compared to the bitfenix 18€). The PureWings 2 claims a noise level of 18.8db, so a pretty small difference. Both fans are connected directly to the psu, as my motherboard doesnt have enough headers, that means both fans are full speed. The Bequiet is barely audible at full speed, but the Bitfenix makes it sound like my pc is going to fly away, it is really that loud. I belive that it will be silent at 50% speed, but that really isnt possible for me right now. That is why i needed the low noise adaptor, which was on the box, but wasnt included.... Now i need to order one on amazon or something... To bitfenix credit, the fan pushes an amazing amount of air. It says 86 CFM on the box compared to bequiet 60, but i belive that in reality it is closer to 100 CFM. So why would you pay 2x more for a much louder fan? RGB The RGB on that thing is nice and very bright, nothing more to say really. The color accuracy is fine, except for yellow, for some reason yellow colour is more of a lime, but all other colors are very accurate. The RGB is located in the motor hub not on the outside like on some ugly rgb fans, so the resulting color is very clear, as the translucent fins glow nicely. CONCLUSION/TLDR PROS- Bitfenix has made an rgb fan with no damn proprietry connector, so you can plug it straight into the motherboard. Lots of accessories. (but the most important one missing) While the fan is very noisy, it pushes about as much air as my 200mm front intake fan. The rgb is bright, and white fins glow nicely, because the rgb is located in the fan motor hub. While it was 2x more expensive than BeQuiet Pure Wings 2 140mm, it also was 2x cheaper than Corsair LL140 or Thermaltake Riing Premium 14. NOPES- There was no included low noise adaptor, while on the box it said that there should be. Fan is very noisy at 100% speed compared to a 2x cheaper fan. Yellow is lime. If you have any questions about the fan let me know. Sooner or later i might get a new motherboard, or some 9v or 7v adaptors.

So I recently purchased cooler master's mastercase lite 5 RGB for my pc build, and upon building, noticed that the 3 included front RGB fans had an RGB splitter connected to them, and so I connected the splitter to the 12v G R B header on my motherboard. When I booted up my system, however, I noticed that the fans in front were running at a constant 100%, and that they didn't show up in my bios, but I could control the led color from the bios as an led strip. Is there a way to control the fan speed for them? Because these always running at full is somewhat bothersome. My motherboard is the gigabyte z370 d3, and my case as stated earlier is the cooler master mastercase lite 5 rgb. Any help would be greatly appreciated Edit: I forgot to mention this originally, but the fans are being powered directly from my psu with a molex connector.

Hello, I recently bought a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard and it comes with a RGB Header and I want to buy the MasterBox MB500 case from Cooler Master : http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/masterbox-mb500/ but I don't know if the RGB connection of the fans goes into that RGB header in my motherboard. The mobo specs says: 1 x CPU cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header. I don't know if that can also be used for the rgb of the fans. The case model I can buy is the one without the RGB Controller. How can you connect a 4 pin RGB fan to a motherboard which only contains 5 pin rgbw pin headers. If I just ignore the W pin and plug it into the 12V+RGB will that work or will it mess up the lighting, considering the RGBW header is not in order (BRG or something like that)?

System specs: Ryzen 1600 ASRock B350M Pro4 EVGA 550 G3 ASUS RX580 8GB Windows 10 64bit Bios is the most recent update I just bought an ML140 Corsair fan to add to the 3 ML120 that I already have in my case. However when I went to turn on the RGB in Corsair Link the Lighting Node Pro was not visible and there were no devices detected. So I am currently stuck with the configuration that I had in place before I got my ML140, which means that my 3 ML120s are happily colourful but my ML140 is un-illuminated. Things I have tried: - uninstall and reinstall Corsair Link - unplug and replug everything - made sure that the RGB on the new ML140 were functional - hard reset of the Lighting Node Pro itself - unplug various combinations of things, restarting my computer and plugging them in while the computer is on Any suggestions would be great.
