Hello, I need your opinion from the owners of Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB case. Εspecially from those who bought in addition the RGB controller and the front dust filter. Is it worth giving an extra 15$ for the RGB controller and another 15$ for the dust filter? I will use the Asus Prime B660M-A D4 motherboard on this case. I will be able to connect all the fans to the pre-installed hub and then the hub to the fan port and RGB header of the motherboard ? then I will be able to handle the RGB fans using the AURA software ? In case I want to use Lian Li RGB software (Li-Connect 3), will I be able to use it without the RGB controller ? Also, does the front dust filter affect the airflow performance? What is the exact model of the two front rgb fans? I want the same but in 140mm and 120mm.

Hello I have a werid issue neither msi or corsair can resolve. I have a ryzen 2700x on a asrock b450m steel legend motherboard. I have an 100i rgb platinum se and a commander pro. I also have an ASUS pcie ac22000 wireless/Bluetooth card. The issue i am having is when the wireless card uses the usb 2.0 header and the commander pro is plugged into second header the h100i which is using the primary or secondary header on the commander pro it never shows up in icue. I have tried uninstall complete the icue software several time, (ccleaner uninstall, icue removal tool, manualy deleted folder after the uninstall through control panel). Also tried plugging usb header for wireless into commander pro and same result. Also got corsair to replace the commander pro and same result. I am on the latest bios for asrock board that it supports as i know there were some issues with usb on ryzen boards a little while ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated. also confirmed that if i use a standard micro usb to usb a and plug into back port that it works and if i plug included micro usb from 100i into motherboard it shows up but then when wireless card usb header goes to the commander pro then it doesn't let me use Bluetooth which i need for controllers. I would love to get this fully function as i started gaming with the soon to be wife and this issue is annoying as 2 player games get a little loud since i cannot control the fan speed without disassbly the whole computer and rebuilding everytime.

Hey, I recently bought a 3 pack of Fractal Design Aspect 12 RGB PWM, but my motherboard (MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max) does not have these RGB 3 pin connectors needed to actually control the lighting. Can anyone suggest a not too expensive controller (software support)? Fractal support wasn’t helpful at all, as they were just suggesting their R1, which doesn’t support software control.

I recently bought an NZXT h510i and it came with an NZXT RGB & Fan Controller and now I want to add more strips that will go under my desk. I want some strips that I can control using NZXT cam because the default effects are very good. The NZXT RGB strips are way too small and I'm going to need about 120cm of lights. The controller only takes 5V strips with a 4 pin connector so does anyone have a recommendation of long strips (I am fine cutting and soldering them if need be).

This is the 4 pin RGB strip of lights with the 4-pin headers and when I plugged it into the 4 pin header on my Asus X570 Gaming Plus motherboard. I plugged in my PSU and turned it on and the Asus Aura sync lights on the mbd light up and these did not light up. Do I need an RGB controller instead? It says RGB header on the mbd btw.

Hey guys! Just recently finish a PC build (minus the GPU) but I'm still kind of concerned with the way I wired the ML360R ARGB controller. if anyone knows off the top of their head, then this would be great: do you plug in SATA power, addressable ARGB header, and USB 2.0 header? I'm using the Z490-A ASUS PRIME motherboard. Right now I only have the USB 2.0 header and SATA power connected in order to ensure the system is stable. Everything else seems to operate fine. I'm not expecting any issues outside of the fact I'm not sure if I'm correctly utilizing the ARGB controller sent with the AIO. I have a total of 7 fans in my case and they are all cooler master. I believe I correctly wired the RGB cables for each fan but I'm not sure if I correctly used the controller. If you already assumed, then yes, I'm using the ARGB hub for all 7 of those fans. Any information is greatly appreciated. Cooler master does a poor job with documentation. Also, does anyone know if the extension cables for fans are 3 or 4 pin? If so, then do they work as you'd expect? Meaning you just add distance using male and female connections?

Hello guys, i have a fractaldesign define s2 vision rgb, a asus rog stix 570 e gaming and a thermaltake 3.0 360 water ARGB AIO. so my question is if i could connect the case fans to the fractaldesign rgb controller and on the motherboard rgb header at the same time so i could control it via aura and the controller how i want it or is that impossible. same with the AIO with the thermaltake rgb controller and motherboard rgb header. is that possible or not maybe connect all fans with eachpother and then via cable splitter to controller and MB? to control it however i want or do i have to use MB Header OR Controller or can i use both? i hope u guys can help me thanks.

I am currently planning on connecting an argb strip to my pc but upon checking, my motherboard didn't have the 5V 3 pin port that I need. Can I use an RGB controller for this despite my motherboard not having a port for argb? I would also like to ask for suggestions for rgb controllers if I could use them. For reference, my motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.

Hello all, I just have a quick question about my upcoming build. I want to use four ML140MM RGB and three ML120MM RGB fans around my case and I want to make sure I fully understand how everything needs to be connected in order for me to control lighting through iCUE. If I understand everything correctly I should plug the fan PWM cables into the PWM headers on the Corsair Commander Pro (using one splitter cable to connect 7 fans to 6 PWM hubs) and plug the RGB cables from the fans into two Corsair RGB LED hubs which themselves connect to the two RGB LED headers on the Commander Pro. I believe I can also plug my H150i USB connector and the USB connector from my HX100i into the two USB ports on the Commander Pro. Both the RGB hubs and the Commander Pro need to be plugged into SATA ports from my Corsair power supply, and the Commander Pro's USB cable can be plugged into an internal USB header. Is this the correct way to connect everything? Will I be able to control the lighting from all of my fans by connecting everything this way? Would I also be able to control my fan speed? Thanks!

The sp120 controller is an rgb controller nothing more as far as I understand. I would like to add a led strip to my corsair 570x without buying a separate controller and keep the simplicity and functionality of the buttons built into the case. While corsair sells their own strips and controllers specifically for this purpose, would the corsair strips interface with the sp120 controller if modified to fit, or splice the wires with a sp120 connector. Corsair has the proprietary connectors on the sp120's. Would the wiring be the same for the fan leds as well as the strip apart from the connector?

Or 3x the cash for the corsair commander thing, and then have to deal with software control for everything. Would love to know if this would be possible. Sry if this should be in modding.

So I'm attempting my first build and finally got to plugging everything in, but I'm having trouble with wiring my case to the mobo. I have everything wired up except an LED SW which I can't seem to find in the mobo manual, or the case manual(very lacking on info). I have an MSI x570 gaming edge wifi, and the case is Gamdias Talos P1A. I know the case has a switch for the rgb, so I'm assuming that's what it is, but I'm not sure where it plugs into.

So I just purchased an AZZA Inferno 310 case and it apparently has 2 extra headers on its controller board for additional rgb items. It currently comes with 2 rgb front fans. I am wondering how universal rgb is. I know that additional Azza Hurricane Lite RGB fans (which are also identical to the ones that come preinstalled in the case) work with the controller. Would I be able to plug in any rgb fan and it would work with the controller? Would CPU fans with rgb work as well if I plugged in the 4 pin connector to the case controller? I want to know before I purchase any more fans.

hi guy i am confused about RGB connector i do understand there is another 4pin header that need to connect to the motherboard in order to use the software to change colour. But what i dont understand is this RGB controller i believe that is included in the cooler master td500 case. However i dont see a way to change the colour and is connected internally. So what should i do buy a 1 in 3 rgb connector or use that??

The problem I have is that when connected to the motherboard, the ring on the Wraith Prism cooler doesn't seem to sync with the motherboard lights and the CM MB520 case fans. The only way to control the ring is by connecting the cooler to the motherboard via the USB header which means I will lose sync to the motherboard and case fans since the CM program doesn't seem to detect the fans as a "CM product" but the fans work fine when connected to the motherboard via RGB header. What can I do to sync The ring, the CPU fan, the motherboard (preferably), the case fans, and an RGB strip in the future? Will a CM RGB controller do? And will all the required cables be provided? And lastly, will I be able to control them via software? Also, can I just connect all these devices to an RGB controller and connect it to the motherboard RGB header? If so, I can control them all using the Aura Sync software. I assume the only problem with that would be that effects will treat all the things connected to the controller as one device which means I can't do effects like wave Notes: -The motherboard only has 2 RGB headers. -The fan RGB works fine and in sync with the rest of the system, It's just the ring around it that won't sync with the system. Hello there. I am about to build my first pc, have already ordered all the parts, but I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to install the fans, so that I can control their rpms and colour via the motherboard's software (Mystic Light it's called I guess). Case: Zalman Z7 Neo (manual on same page) PSU: Super Flower Leadex III 650W Gold (can't find a manual online, but a review with images here) Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (manual here) CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X and will use the stock cooler (Wraith Spire). The case comes with 4 fans (3 rgb at the front, 1 rgb at the back) and I bought 2 more rgb fans for Top. It also has a preinstalled rgb led controller (if you scroll down in the manufacturer's page you'll see it). There are also some reviews of the case on youtube, here (russian), here (russian) and here (german). So, what am I supposed to do?

Hello all, I am wanting to buy some NZXT Aer RGB 140mm fans but I see that some deals comes with the hue. I have a Noctis 450 case that came with its own controller, can I use that instead of buying another controller/hue? Cheers!

So i got a Corsair icue 465x case sitting around waiting for my new build, but I'm wondering about the lighting node core. The case comes with 3 LL120 fans, but the AIOs come with ML120 fans. (1) Is the node core not going to work with mixed fans? Searching seems to suggest it wont, but i cant find posts where people have actually experienced it (on the vague hope it works despite corsair saying it doesn't). (2) Also there's nowhere to hook up the RGB USB from a corsair RGB AIO to this thing either is there? (3) And finally since i'm expecting the answer to mixing fans and AIO USB to be no, can i link this thing up to a either a commander pro or lighting pro to get that functionality back without having to get both? If i need both a lighting pro and commander pro to get all the RGB goodness form the range of corsair stuff, then I'm a bit miffed that this case kind of misled me with the lighting node core. Although I'll admit i like the look of the case (saw one in person) even without the RGB fully set up. So long as the fans are lit at all it looks pretty good. The only other corsair case i thought looked as nice is RGB 500D and that's AUS$200 more. So all the RGBs I'm intending to implement: Keep the 3 LL120s in the front Put a RGB H100i or H115i in the top (the ones with RGB on the CPU block) and put a final LL120 in the back No extra strips, but i will probably get corsair RGB ram to round out my Rainbow Unicorn Vomit Seizure build. (4) Whats my best bet to to fully control all that? I'm fine with the bloatware. The RGB will mainly be to make my nieces go "oooh, ahhh, shiny".

Hey there, I'm currently working on a Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA RGB Case, which comes with 3 RGB LED fans. They connect to the board via 3-pin fan connectors, which is fine, but the lights connect via standard onboard RGB header. All of them are connected to a single RGB 4-pin plug via included Y-cable. The problem here is, the board I am working with has no RGB header. Now my question is, how am I going to get those to work? Since it's a simple RGB connector meant to be plugged into the boards RGB header, wouldn't any cheap RGB controller work? Here's what's available in my area. It would be nice to either be able control it with a remote (which doesn't have to be connected via a cable, if possible) or via software, since I do have a free internal USB 2.0 header. I hope you guys can guide me a bit and help me find a product which isn't overly expensive, maybe even from my provided list. Cheers! :)

Hello all, I am thinking about using some Lian-Li BR120 Digital RGB fans in my next build but I was wondering how to connect everything. I was thinking about using the Phanteks Universal PWM Fan Hub and the Lamptron SP101 ARGB Hub which should allow me to control both the speed and RGB effects of the fans. Would anyone have any other recommendations? Also would the Phanteks hub work with Lian Li fans or does it only work with Phanteks fans? I presume since it has 'universal' in its name it should work but just double checking. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-universal-pwm-fan-hub-black-ca-08x-pt.html https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lamptron-sp101-10x-addressable-rgb-hub-for-aura-fusion-and-mystic-bb-00f-lp.html Thanks!

I have the ID-Cooling DF-12025, three rgb case fans that have an rgb controller included to control its lights. I also have the Deepcool RGB 350 (RGB LED light strips). it also has an rgb controller included. My question is, will I be able to connect the rgb headers of both the case fans and led light strips all to one rgb led controller? So for example, I could connect my Deepcool RGB 350 light strips together with my ID-Cooling DF-12025 case fans' rgb controller. Could it possibly work, considering that they are of different brands? How can I be certain that its safe and is compatible to connect different components' rgb headers to one individual rgb controller?

Hello everyone, I am planning my first build, and I would like to use a Republic of Gamers z370-g Wifi-AC motherboard, Unfortunately, I don't see any rgb headers-correct me if I'm wrong- so I think I'll use Cooler Master's rgb controller So, can I plug an rgb fan in the controller or only Cooler Master's? Thanks y'all.

Hey Everyone Just got a quick question for you. I am building my first PC and I am using 4 Cooler Master 120mm Air Balance Fans and they are being hooked up to the RGB Controller supplied by Cooler Master when buying a 3 pack. I have also bought a Cooler Master ML240L for nice and quiet cooling. I hooked the cooler up with the supplied 2 - 1 splitter for the fans into the RGB controller with the added 4 extra fans (while also using a 3 - 1 splitter from cooler master) and have hooked the RGB logo into its own header. My question is, If I hook up all of my cooler master fans to the RGB controller and plug it into the usb header as told, can I still use asus aura sync (the reason I went out of the way for RGB lighting). Thank you everyone for your time, Have a nice day
