  1. Hi All, Me and my friend run a remote game server and for the past week have been unable to access it due to both version of Microsoft remote desktop getting stuck on these securing/configuring screens for up to two mintues before showing a black screen and ultimately disconnecting. I've searched around and all the error code brings uup is an unknown reason for disconnection. We knew it wasn't really very stable to being with and id intend to install TeamViewer and acces the server machine remotely that way, however, this isn't possible anymore due to the fact that our current means of access has been effectively wiped out. If anyone has any sugegstions fo things that we could try to try and fix this before either of us have the chance to be on site with the machine, I would be most appreciative. If it comes down to a fresh install of Server 2016 and the addition of Team Viewer, just reply with that and I'll mark as resolved. TIA
  2. So, I need to spec a server I need to be able to provide a remote desktop for 10 concurrent mobile 'thin' clients. Workload will be light, using office suite, web browsing and some form of patient management software such as 'open MRS' and that should be about it. High concurrent user times would only be during internal web conferencing for short periods of time.Need an idea of minimum specification for a server for this use but would want an option that can potentially allow for expansion. Need the solution to run a minimum of 3 years until we reassess our tech implementation. In terms of budget I'm talking under £1k probably closer to an £800 max so I'm probably going to be looking at used hardware for this particular implementation. Ofcourse hard drives will be new but CPU/GPU/MB are fine to be older things to drive cost down. This is a small private healthcare practice with no office working on visit based treatment and therefore to meet the needs of the business it is best for me to provideour accossiates with thin clients as webapp based cloud solutions don't really fit our needs as nicely as a dedicated solution and I have to comply with UK data regs which is easier to do if I retain complete control of the solution in house. The clients themselves will probably be like used HP mt46 notebook sort of things... they may end up being ex education laptops that I just replace any harddrives in with sata Disk-On-Module's. I have never done this before and I'm an enthusiast for tech but I'm actually trained as an electrical engineer and it's my mother's company but I'm unemployed and trying to help her run her business. This is what she wants, we currently use microsoft 365 and a shitty cloud webapp called writeupp for our patient management system. Also any extra advice would be appreciated, a suggestion was to find a way to provide a remote desktop to our accossiates personal devices but I'm uncertain of how secure this would be in comparison to an in house locked down client. I imagine i'll probably need to put windows IOT on the clients we use if they are company provided devices, so these will purely need to run some kind of RDS application and a VPN. I'm learning as I go here but I need to have atleast a decent Idea what I'm doing before I get to pull the trigger on hardware investments. I have a few computers I can use to test server OS's and things on my LAN (probably run a server VM and windows IOT a shitty notebook from the old laptops box I have) and try to make sure software is suitable for purpose in advance. If I'm going the complete wrong direction with this please let me know and suggest a different course of action. We currently spend £1800 a year to support 6 users in web based rubbish mentioned earlier and like AWS or Azure options would probably be way too expensive over time. The upfront cost of an implementation like this is accepted but really needs to be as low as possible as it's coming direct out of my mother's pocket. I've literally been looking at client solutions that would be used and under £100 a unit. I am working for free (currently unemployed but doing alot of policy and training for GDPR and stuff for this company). I don't know if I'm in way over my head. I DO know I can rebuild and service hardware which is why used hardware on such a short term feels like an OK option until we have certain contracts that we are working towards where we will be able to afford much shinier new things. Edit: I forgot, if everyone is going to have their own virtual desktop with a virtual disk on this server will I need a seperate FTP server for shared storage or should I be able to do this in a single dedicated server correctly configured and specced? Cheers.
  3. I'm new to managing macOS, and I find that (for some reason) macOS screen share has the tendency to hang after a while. When I type `w`, I see the same person's session showing up multiple times. It's like they're not logging out, but every time they connect, it creates a whole new session. Even if they're having trouble connecting, I see them as someone who's logged in, based on the time they logged in. Is there a limit to number of people that can connect to a Mac Pro at the same time? How can I kill a person's session completely without killing other's sessions?
  4. Apologies if this is a dumb question and that this is probably a poorly worded question But to give the short version, I'd like to remotely access my desktop over a mobile network, I use a Surface Go 2 as a laptop which its size makes it perfect for my job, but its not that powerful and I'd like to use applications like Blender or Unity during my downtime What I think would be the best solution, is using Windows' RDP function to just remotely access my desktop, but theres an issue of having to be on the same network which a VPN should help provide that functionality Since it would be through my network I know I have to set it up, but I don't know which programs are secure and fast enough to do something like this Or if theres another solution that completely avoids the need for a VPN that would also be appreciated Thank you
  5. Hi, I am for the answer to this so I can make my standard Windows a multiple workstation environment with RDPwrap so if you got any news please let me know I will be grateful. Currently with RDPcheck you can make this work but only with limited graphic environment, anyways that will be nice.
  6. I have a home "server" that is an old OptiPlex that I have plex set up on as well as file sharing and back up. I am trying to access it from my android tablet and it works great when I am connected to my home network. But when I try to connect out side of the network I get a Error code 0x00005f. I have set up my port forward on port 3389 as well as my gateway connection but I keep getting the error? Is there anything that I am missing or need to change? Any and all help is appreciated!
  7. Hi there So, during the pandemic lockdown, I started living with my girlfriend (now wife) and her nephew. And we had one computer that was the best one and I had to find a way to share it with the two of them... It was a 4th gen i5 notebook, but my wife had a much older centrino notebook and our nephew had nothing (I got a Raspberry Pi for him). And I did a research about how I could share my computer in a way that they could have a minimum quality on their machines and stopped on ThinLinc as my solution for remote desktop access. So, we got married, moved to an apartment and bring my old gaming PC from my parent's house. I was always thinking about how I could use ThinLinc to play games remotely... and recently I've found about VirtualGL, which could be used combined with ThinLinc to provide hardware accelerated graphics. Today I've written a tutorial and published a video about how you could use ThinLinc, VirtualGL and SteamLink to play games on a remote machine... The "remote machine" can be your gaming machine on your room that you want to access from your couch, for just simple tasks up to some games. Not every game will work on this setup because VirtualGL only works with OpenGL applications. But at least your machine can be used by more than one user at same time, leaving it as a good performance thin client that you can share with lower performance machines to "improve" their performance So, I'm pasting my tutorial here if you're interested Headless Remote Gaming Machine tutorial - ThinLinc+VirtualGL+Steam Link ThinLinc + VirtualGL + Steam Link: A Headless remote gaming computer accessible from Raspberry Pi and weak machines. TL;DR: Tutorial for installing a remote machine that can play games using the remote GPU power and can be used by other users with some privacy (i.e.: your game is not going to be shown on a remote physical monitor). Reference Video - https://youtu.be/aiLB0-Jbwlw Hi there! I've written the following tutorial because I've seen a lot of people that could benefit from it recently. Also, I'm interested on alternatives for remote gaming on a machine that you have to share with other users and access remotely. During the pandemic isolation, a lot of people started home-office and not everyone was ready to suddenly have the whole family working from home: people didn't have enough computers to share with family, or the computers were slow, or they had to access their office computers from home… So, search for the subject "Remote Access" grew a lot because it was a way to mitigate the need for a more powerful machine at home. By using a remote access application, people could use their computer from home, they could share a single machine with others… But how about gaming? There are some applications that let you run a game on your remote computer, but without some workarounds, the local machine is going to be busy showing the game running on the local monitor and being transmitted to the remote client. Some people create scripts for headless gaming, use dummy plugs, etcetera, but it's not that easy for everyone to accomplish this. In this tutorial, I'm going to present an easy way to headless remote access a Linux machine (that means that your session is not being shown anywhere else), you can share the machine simultaneously with other users (locally or remotely) and, most important, you have GPU acceleration for some applications* (*OpenGL applications). DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible if you cause any damage to your computer by following this tutorial, neither are the companies behind the software used on it. All the following procedures should be safe to run, but may differ between the distros. If you have a specific question regarding the tools' installation procedures on your distro, maybe their forums will provide you better support. Feel free to ask any question if you have one. So, what do you need? Linux operating system - ThinLinc - https://www.cendio.com - VirtualGL - https://www.virtualgl.org or maybe already on your distro's repository - Steam and Steam Link - https://store.steampowered.com/remoteplay - for android, ios, windows, linux… - A computer to access the ThinLinc server - I'm using a Raspberry Pi 2, but it could be almost anything that can run a ThinLinc client. Why do I need it? ThinLinc is a remote desktop application that provides you a full virtual remote session. Some remote desktop applications will just show you the local monitor and interact with a local user. ThinLinc will let you use your remote desktop using a virtual desktop session, I mean, only you are going to see that screen and other users are free to login to the same machine and have their own virtual remote desktop sessions or even a local desktop session if they are physically at the computer. ThinLinc is free for up to 5 simultaneously connected users per domain, so it is enough for me, my family and still have room for more people if I want. I won't get past the free tier. If you need more than 5 concurrent users or would like to use it in large scale, check their website. There are other solutions that work more or less the same way as ThinLinc, but it has been my choice because ThinLinc supports VirtualGL. VirtualGL provides a way to render graphics on the local GPU and send it somewhere else. Most remote desktop applications don't have a way to render 3D graphics on hardware, that's why you can't play on them. ThinLinc is one that can be combined with VirtualGL and provide hardware accelerated graphics. Steam Link is not really necessary, but it's made for remote gaming and will add some features to enhance this remote gaming experience. By combining it to the ThinLinc+VirtualGL, you will be able to get a smoother framerate and also will be able to use controllers. How to get it working? On the remote machine (the one running the games) Install ThinLinc Server and configure it - https://www.cendio.com/thinlinc/download Install VirtualGL and configure it - through your distro repository or https://virtualgl.org Install Steam (recommended) - https://store.steampowered.com On the client machine (the one you are going to use to play the games) Install ThinLinc Client - https://www.cendio.com/thinlinc/download Install Steam Link (optional) - https://store.steampowered.com/remoteplay For the remote machine: ThinLinc Server is easy to install: Reference Video 3:29 - Unzip the contents and run the "install-server" and follow instructions. Also refer to their official install guide: https://www.cendio.com/thinlinc/docs/install https://www.cendio.com/resources/docs/tag/ PS: When installing ThinLinc to openSUSE Tumbleweed, I had to do some workarounds because Tumbleweed changed some file locations. Also, my machine was behind NAT and I had to configure the HOST_ALIASES parameter and run a SSH tunnel. The tumbleweed workarounds were mostly symlinks pointing to the correct file locations. Details about how to use HOST_ALIASES and SSH Tunnel here: https://community.thinlinc.com/t/my-personal-thinlinc-use-case-and-some-performance-comparison/173 VirtualGL also is easy to install: on most distros you can find it on the distro's repository. To configure it, run vglserver_config (reference video 10:05).The recommendation is to restrict it only to vglusers group for security reasons, but most of you won't need to restrict it on your personal computers. Refer to the documentation - https://virtualgl.org/vgldoc/2_2_1/ Steam also is pretty simple to install. There's an oficial .deb package at their home page, but most distros have it on their repositories. Also there's a flatpak available. Now on the client machine: ThinLinc Client is simple to install (reference video 1:26). Get the corresponding package at their website and install it. If your remote machine is behind a NAT, you may workaround it by using port forwarding, split DNS, VPN or SSH Tunnel and set up the HOST_ALIASES parameter if needed. I think that the easiest way is to use the SSH Tunnel and set HOST_ALIASES (reference video 4:50). Also you may check ThinLinc Community ot this post here: https://community.thinlinc.com/t/my-personal-thinlinc-use-case-and-some-performance-comparison/173 Steam Link is also pretty simple to install - Get it on their webpage: https://store.steampowered.com/remoteplay . In the reference video, the Raspberry Pi 2 is not compatible with Steam Link. So, Steam Link appears at 17:00 when I'm using my smartphone to use both the video streaming and sending controller input, and at 32:02 when I install it to my local computer to be able to play FPS Games using my keyboard/mouse and controller. Now that everything is installed and configured, here's how it works: - You connect to your ThinLinc+VirtualGL server machine and start Steam - You set the "Launch Options" for the OpenGL game that you want to play to: LD_PRELOAD="${LD_PRELOAD#libdlfaker.so:libvglfaker.so:}:libdlfaker.so:libvglfaker.so" %command% (Reference: https://github.com/VirtualGL/virtualgl/issues/25 ) - (Optional) Connect to your remote machine and play using Steam Link; - Run your game and enjoy. And here's a big FAQ: Why don't you just use Steam + Steam Link? Why do I need ThinLinc and VirtualGL? Because by using Steam + Steam Link, the remote machine running Steam is going to display and interact with the Steam Link session… By default, you need that your account is logged on and Steam is running on the remote machine. If you're not logged in your account locally, how could you start steam remotely? How about other local users? Will they be able to use the computer physically while you're using it for Steam gaming? There are some people who worked around it by running a "Headless Steam", but it seemed more difficult to get working. And Headless Steam is going to be a solution to run games, not a complete remote desktop experience. Are there any alternatives? For ThinLinc - yes: an alternative, for example, would be TigerVNC and TurboVNC for example. ThinLinc is based on TigerVNC (they are the maintainers) and TurboVNC has been built with VirtualGL in mind. I think that ThinLinc is a lot easier to set up and will easily work if you can SSH to the remote machine. For VirtualGL - I don't know any other project like it. It would be great if there was a vulkan capable project like it, but I don't know if there is such a project. For Steam Link - I'm not sure how easy it would be to use another solution to cover Steam Link's part in this tutorial. Can I play any Steam games/any hardware accelerated application? No. VirtualGL only works for OpenGL applications Maybe in the future. Can I use a controller? Does this combination work with games that require a mouse? Yes, through Steam Link. ThinLinc can't redirect your controller input to a remote machine (unless you use some local application that translates your controller input to key presses, so I would recommend attaching a controller to Steam Link and use it. For games that need mouse input, especially FPS games, attach keyboard and mouse to the Steam Link. For some reason, FPS games don't get the right mouse input when running remotely, I guess that's because the remote applications don't send the coordinates the way that the game wants… I 've seen a guy using Spice to play remotely and he had the same problem. And it's the same symptoms if you try to use a Wacom as a mouse for FPS games according to a friend. Thanks to: Cendio (for both ThinLinc and TigerVNC) VirtualGL project (for VirtualGL) Valve (for Steam and Steam Link)
  8. Hello Everyone, i recently upgraded my Windows Home Server from 2012 R2 to 2016 because i got a Deal on a Licence. Everything is working great, other than the fact that my Server has no Sound locally or via RDP. The Audio Settings in the RDP File are Correct. Granted its not Server-hardware but it did work in 2012 R2. I installed the newest Drivers from Lenovo and also some Older Drivers but Remote Audio is always silent. The Services "Windows-Audio" and "Windows-Audio Endpoint Builder" are both running and Set to Automatic. Is there a way i can get Audio working again, maybe even with a new Soundcard ? Any Tips, Ideas or Solutions are welcome. If you have Questions or need more Information id be very happy to assist
  9. Hello to everyone, after realising my first "server" build, i want to extent my vision. I work in a company where there are about 18 computers and i would like to centralize all of them. Basically ditch the one person-one pc tower concept and transfer all the computers into vms in servers. I started by making a custom server [5950x/64gb/2TBnvme/2x1660ti/ESXi]. This server is in a server room and holds 4 VMs, two of them are used by designers for 2D-3D CAD and the other two for office use. This system works perfect for now. So i want to use the same concept for all the other pcs in our business. All the VMs in question will only be used for office use. I am looking into making another server consisted of the following: Ryzen 5950x 64gb Ram 2TB 980 Pros 6*gt1030 ESXi 7.0 (is there a better host for this application?) After a lot of research i found that the easiest and cheapest way to access the VMs is by using a KVM extender (kvm over ethernet). That is the reason i will use the GPUs as well. My question is whether i can hook up 6 GPUs in a commercial X570 motherboard that has 6 pcie (2* x16 & 1* x8 & 3* x1) using x1 to x16 riser cards? The gpus will then connect to the KVMs and give access wherever in the network. Reasons to do it: Central management Might be cheaper on a full scale (rather than buying seperate pcs) Easy to deploy new pc Easy to backup Easy to redeploy after failure Controlled enviroment in a server room with UPS Might be used for computers hooked-up on machines, which is a big plus in case of failure. Easier to maintain with consumer parts Reasons not to do it: Big pain in the a** for the one realising it Might be more expensive to start with Don't know if it will actually work properly Feel free to leave your negative/positive comments and thoughts :)
  10. Hello, I've got a small media-server at home which seams to be a widely used target for brute-force attacks. I've tried to secure it a bit with the following tweaks. - Disallow RDP access for admin accounts - Use custom port for RDP - Require strong passwords - Account Lockout on X failed attempts - Scan logs every x min for failed attempts and then block IPs in the firewall I know that I should probably only allow local connections and use a VPN-solution, but I want to be able to quickly and easily connect even from a friends house without any extra hustle. My idea is that I want to block all IPs that's not in my country range as well as block IP's within that range that have x failed login attempts. So, I've setup a firewall rule to block all incoming connections from (placeholder). I then add IPs to the placeholder with a powershell script every x min if the script find 5+ failed login attempts from an IP. .. But how would I go about blocking all incoming connections from an IP that is not within my defined range on-top of that?
  11. Hi everyone, I talked about this in another thread, but I thought I'd like to reiterate and drive it home for myself. Why can't the Domain Controller and Remote Desktop Services be on the same physical server machine? Why is VPN and DC on the same box ok? Do you simply get an error message when you try to install RDP with DC? I'm running Windows Server 2016 on the machine in my signature. Not a virtual machine. Thanks.
  12. So my connection from my ISP has been changed to IPV6 for quite some time now and works great. When I was on IPV4 I could port forward the port for remote desktop (RDP) to a machine and it worked perfectly. I've been looking into trying to configure RDP over IPV6 for quite some time now, trying to understand IPV6 etc. I can connect over IPV6 no problem when on the same network but can't figure out how to connect to it while outside of the network. When configuring my modem I can only port forward IPV4 addresses. Apparently it is not necessary to port forward IPV6. Is one of the IPV6 IPs my machine has public? Don't they expire frequently for some security reasons? If you have any knowledge on how to configure RDP for IPv6 from external connections or could point me towards articles online that would be great!
  13. What is best thing to do with RDP Specs: Intel Xeon 2.6 GHZ , only 2 cores 13 GB Ram 100 GB SSD Internet speed: http://prntscr.com/ee4cq3 static ddos protected IP What to do with it to make best sue of it? http://prntscr.com/ee4b9f
  14. Pictured is my desktop btw. Anyway, my GTX 780 could be dead, and I'm a graphics card novice, so would anyone mind using remote desktop on my computer to help me diagnose and possibly revive my card?
  15. This is really just a silly/fun/hypothetical question, but what is the exact technical reason you can't Remote Desktop a machine to itself? I type in my own IP Address into Windows Remote Desktop and also try the loopback address, but neither work.
  16. Up to this day, I had a Windows Server 2008, and many users logging in remotely (around 10). Going to tasks manager, I can go to users, and if a user is logged in I can "Remote Control". Now I need another PC to act as a terminal for those users, something related to adding more users and less load. I gave my IT guy a Windows 10 PC to do it on, as I was requested, but after working on it for 4 hours and configuring everything, he said that there is no remote control option in Windows 10, but if I want I can install Windows 7. - Does "Remote Control" exist on Windows 10 for RDP sessions? - If not, does it really exist on Windows 7, and is reformatting my only option? I just don't really want to pay for another 4 hours of configuring stuff. Note, I did see this option in technet, and it is listed only for windows server, here.
  17. Ha! My first post is work related while I'm at work! What's up guys? I got a fun one. So, I've scoured the forum looking at posts about "digital signage" and none of them has solved my issue. I've talked with two companies that offer digital signage solutions, but my company is not on board with spending that kinda cash on software, media players, and so on. Ex. Industry Weapon is $750/year PER MEDIA PLAYER. I am in need of displaying different types of data on several TV's (monitors if they can be got for the cheap cheap). That price only included the software per device. So, what I am looking at is something dealing with Raspberry PI's or other cheap media player solutions, and a software that I can name each PI and centralize them for ease of updating. Our sister company ran into this issue as well, and they use the Intel stick and they burnt them up because we operate 24/7. Unlike other post, I'm not looking at a end all, one and done system. I know this is one of the harder situations where we can't really "save money". Whatcha think? Questions?
  18. Is there any website for giving free rdp? I search google but none of them are work.
  19. Okay so I graduated recently and quit my job because me and my girlfriend are going to start our own business. I've always built my own desktop machines but when it comes to laptops I don't know much. Business is going to be in website and mobile app development in my area. I'm mostly going to use it for showing work when meeting clients and occasionally when working with my girlfriend when it's easier to work in person and watch some video playback (1080p good enough). HOWEVER, I'm going to RDP to my desktop. I don't need a fancy processor and all this shit or huge storage. So basically here are my key points for the ideal laptop I'm looking for: Very lightwight Good keyboard Affordable HDMI output (could be useful until I can just chromecast/miracast anywhere) 15-17 inch monitor? No graphics card, as long as it can display and connect to RDP. I'm planning on installing a light OS like FreeRDP or something, like embedded gfx. Okay, that's all I can think of, any suggestion for me? Y'all helps appreciated!
  20. I always get this error when connecting to my computer, whether it be locally or over the internet. This obviously isn't great and I would much rather implement kerberos so I can prove the identity of the computer I am connecting to. How should I best fix this issue?
  21. I currently connect to my computer at home by directly port forwarding an obscure port to it, which means I cannot prove the identity of my remote computer, which is NOT great. Sometimes I use my raspberry pi VPN to connect (which is openvpn with proper certificate and password authentication) but I often find it easier to to directly connect to my computer. Is there a good way to add kerberos to prove the identity of the remote computer, perhaps with a raspberry pi? I'm looking for something similar to the RDP gateway that I use to connect to my computer at work.
  22. Hello everyone, Firstly I'd like to thank you for reading and providing any advice on this topic. I have an office in Chiang Mai, Thailand and our main HQ is in Sydney, Australia. We occasionally need to RDP into the server in Sydney and sometimes even transfer files across. Currently we are using Cisco Easyconnect VPN and windows RDP, and it works okay for remotely controlling the server. However, if we transfer files across this it's painfully slow. We also need to work on a very simple estimating software through this connection in order to keep all the estimates transparent throughout our offices. This is also painfully slow to work in. We are currently running a 200mbps down and 100mbps up through our ISP here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I could upgrade to a 1000Mbps/500Mbps line, but I doubt it will do much for the remote connection speeds through the Easyconnect platform. One of the IT guys in Sydney recommended we get a MLPS service going to fix these issues. I am curious to how well this will actually work speed wise to connect with the server in Sydney and also set up a DFS system for our local server to mirror some of the directories on their server? The main issue is the cost. I have been quoted 100Mbps domestic and 50Mbps international at around 2,500.00 USD per month through one ISP and a 50Mbps domestic 50Mbps international MLPS service at 1,250.00 USD per month through another ISP. This seems outrageously expensive. I was wondering if you guys had any other ideas that I could utilize? I'm not looking for crazy speeds but 20Mbps or so speeds to our Sydney connection would be a good starting point. If I left anything out that is important, please let me know and I will provide any info necessary. Thank you guys very much for taking the time.
  23. Hello! A bit of background is probably necessary: I've got an Ubuntu VM running in Windows 7 on a computer attached to my network. When I log into the computer via Remote Desktop from my main computer (also Windows 7), the CPU usage drops to 0% when previously it was around 50-60%. I am aware that people may ask why I'm complaining, since 0% CPU usage might be perceived as a good thing, so just know that I'm not, however I just want to know why. I doubt anyone else will have either a) the same odd setup, or b) noticed this behaviour, but I'm willing to ask. EDIT: I suppose a better question would be: If the computer is capable of running the VM at near 0% CPU usage when I'm connected with remote desktop, why is the CPU usage so high when I'm not connected with remote desktop?
  24. I currently have my network configured to directly RDP into my primary machine, which is a bit of a vulnerability. I've also got an OpenVPN server on a raspberry pi which works great for RDP but isn't an option at work or on most other computers I may want to connect from, as all of my traffic will go through the VPN, which is not desirable. What I'd love to do is restrict the VPN so that it only protects the RDP connection and routes all other traffic normally. Better yet, it'd be great if I could have a portable openvpn client, complete with a certificate, on a thumbdrive that I can connect to any computer (I'd only do this on trusted devices, just ones that I can't install apps on, such as a friend's pc). Is there any feasible way of accomplishing this?
  25. Hi all, I am planning on making a virtulization server which i will RDP into The OS the server will run is going to be a headless Hyper-V. It will consist of a Home Theater PC and a Windows Development PC (Visual Studio, Unity etc). So far, i know i will be using a tower case and Hyper-V OS. I do not want it to be as loud as some of the rack mounted servers used by enterprises, but also dont want to be spending more than £700 / $950. I am still not sure on what parts to include. Any tips and parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
