Hey guys, I recently bought Rainbow Six Siege and the games audio is pretty bad, I'm unable to distinguish where footsteps noises are coming from and the audio settings only consist of master volume, music, and dialogue. I'm trying to find a way if I can make the application run in Dolby or any form of surround sound, and if I could also have an equalizer for that application only as a bonus. Preferably accomplishing this without any external programs, and I'm using windows 10. Thank you. (this is a report btw since I got no response when posting it under gaming)

Today i had a power surge while playing unranked on r6 seige and lost internet connection; by the time i was allowed to reconnect the game was over and i was slapped with a 2 day abandon penalty. I know these things can be appealed so I go to Ubisoft proper and go to log in, mind you it's been a while since i've used this account so it took a few times for me to get my password correct. I finally get into my account and was in there for less than a minute before I was kicked out and was kicked back to the login screen and was told my account has been blocked from login because of too many failed attempts. I go to support to get... support, account support. The account support page gives a few options including account recovery chat. But in order to get put into a chat for password recovery or general account recovery for this specific situation that I had. you have to login with your f*cking account information through the same portal in which you are blocked. I then said screw it and went through the password change process, and was still barred from login.

I am experiencing what seems to be either hardware or driver related issues with my pc while gaming. Before I get into it, here are my specs: -Ryzen 5 1600af overclocked to 4.1ghz -EVGA rtx 2080 super XC ultra (latest drivers,) (2100mhz core clock, 8200mhz memory) -16gb (2x8gb) Corsair vengeance memory at 3200mhz XMP profile - Aorus B450 pro wifi motherboard (Bios ver. 61) -750w 80+ bronze EVGA power supply BR series -Resolution is 2560x1440 at 144hz on a viewsonic monitor Recently, my FPS has been down from an average of about 260-300, to between 90 and 130 in my primary game; Rainbow Six Siege. The game has been stuttering, and full on rubber banding at times with the icon even coming on to tell me that I am not rendering enough frames to take advantage of my 144hz monitor. My temps on GPU are between 45-55 degrees and CPU temps are between 55-65 degrees Celsius while gaming. The CPU usage never goes past 60-70%, and GPU usage never hits 65-70%. Memory usage is 6.7-7.0 GB out of 16 GB. All drivers are up to date, and as far as I know I have no fps limiters, or any software dragging my performance down. All NVIDIA control panel and windows power settings are set to high performance, and in game settings are only using 4.4gb out of 8gb of vram. I have seen both success and failure with using Razer Cortex system booster software, which helps some days, or does nothing on others. Last night was by far the worst gaming experience I’ve had though and nothing I tried to do seemed to help. If more info is needed such as benchmarks, screenshots, etc. I can tag those files at a later date. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Summary Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Extraction comes out January 20 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Amazon Luna, Stadia, and the Ubisoft Store on PC, as well as via Ubisoft+. The game is $39.99 for base game that includes a 14 day buddy pass for two friends. The game is notably absent from Steam. My thoughts While no specific reason for the absence from steam has been given, it could be assumed Ubisoft is planning on including NFTs in the game. Other options could be that they don't want to pay steams fee or they can't implement the buddy system with steam. Rainbow six just got dlss and I was hyped. However, I am getting around 220 fps with dlss off but only around 200 with it on, does anyone know what may be the reason behind this?

I have tried a few of the fixes for this and am afraid maybe my GPU (XFX 5700 XT Thicc II) is the culprit. The temperatures are always good though. However, most of the time, even when idle, radeon desktop app thing reports at least 90% VRAM utilization. If i'm running a game it is always over 100% which is ridiculous. No other game has any issues. I have reinstalled the game. Maybe one of you has had this issue or can point me in the direction of a fix I have not tried. I have tried : Disable Full Screen Optimizations Update Graphics Drivers Closing all programs Delete temp files Power settings

Ok well idk if i'm in the right place but idk where to go anymore but i have a 2070 super with a ryzen 7 3800x 16 gigs of ram and the asus hero viii hero wifi motherboard and i have had it for about 3 weeks now i love it but my rainbow six siege and doom eternal are having crucial lag where the loading screen for just booting up doom is chugging so hard you cant even use the menu its so bad, in rainbow six siege certain maps will do the same thing where its just unplayable but some maps run perfectly fine, but the winning screen chuggs really bad too and if i try any online play it just cant work idk if its a gpu cpu ram motherboard issue, the only change i had that was 2 days before this stuff started happening was installing the Elgato HD 60 PRO for my switch recordings and i put it in the PCIe slot x1 where it said it goes, i have also got contact with Ubisoft to see if they could solve it but they said it was a packet thing with my wifi, then again i'm playing terrorist hunt games with 1 ping where some maps like i said are flawless and some are horrible. I'm going to try to run doom offline to see if it changes thanks for helping if you know how to

I stream using NDI from my gaming computer to my streaming computer. When I have OBS idling on my gaming computer I get around 20fps less in Rainbow Six Siege than if I didn't have OBS open. I run R6 at all low setting and get anywhere from 100 to 120 fps with OBS running and 130-150 with OBS not running. I've attached my OBS settings, R6 settings, NVIDIA control panel settings, and an internet speed test. I have both computers wired to a router. If you need more info let me know but imo with my current hardware and in game settings I should easily be getting 180+ fps with OBS running. Gaming Computer Specs: i7-7700k RTX 2080 16gb ddr4 ram (2x8) Thank you.

Okay so like the title says I am black screening when playing Rainbow 6 Seige. When this happens my monitor says "no signal" and the game closes, while the computer continues to run in the background as I can still hear my friends in Skype when this happens. The only way to get my computer back up is to fully power it down, a restart will not work. Also HDMI and DVI have the same result. Also other games like Overwatch, Civ 5, Far Cry(original) work just fine. Here is some background on my PCs situation. About a week ago, I put my GPU into the bottom PCI-E 4x slot to try and fix my BSOD issues and so far this has been the case, but a few days after that I was having major lag in R6. The lag ended up being an issue with going over the VRAM limit of my GPU so I lowered a few settings and now the game runs without any lag. EDIT: Same issue in Unturned and while watching YouTube with Overwatch in the background. More info on my PC: It has one burnt RAM slot, caused by a hair that caught fire inside in the slot itself. This is why you never let other people try and "fix" your PC... Below are the full system specs. CPU: i5 6600k @ 4.4Ghz w/ Hyper 212 Evo GPU: Asus ROG STRIX RX 470 OC 4GB RAM: 2x8GB 2400Mhz MOBO: ASRock z170a-x1 Storage: 2x120GB SSDs and 1TB HDD

Okay so for months I was having GPU related issues where I would Blue Screen out to a Video_tdr_failure(This happened 1-2 times a day) and just the other day I put my GPU into the bottom pci-e slot and this seemed to fix my issue, I have only been testing for a few days but so far so good. But now when playing Rainbow 6 Seige I get random lag spikes, first thing I did was run GPU Z in the background and found my GPU was dipping to 300mhz at times so I upped the power limit to 25% and upped the temp target to 85C from 60, it still happened. Then I upped the voltage to 1150 from 1083, and then I upped it to 1165-1175 and my card no longer had an issue with the 300mhz thing. It now stays locked at 1250 when gaming but I still have this lag issue in R6. This lag happens usually at the start of a round, sometimes in the middle and it always happens on the end screen. So when this happens my FPS drops from its locked 59-60FPS down to anywhere from 55 to 25 also It can also go as low as 12 in the end screen, any fluctuation is a problem as I use V-Sync to fix my screen tearing issues. For my game settings I use a mixture of medium to very high and they run fine at 60FPS locked until my lag stuff happens. Also I have not had any issues in Overwatch or Civ 5 as these are the only other games I play right now.

So i really want to get siege, but i don't have 50 euro to spend on the complete edition. So my question is if i buy the base game can i still get all of those DLC operators with ingame money or do i have to get the season pass?

I have recently been trying to portforward on my BT home hub 5, so that I can play Rainbow 6 Seige online with my friends. However, when I try to save the ports i want to open, it won't save any changes. Also where there should be a drop-down to display a list of devices, there are none shown. If anyone has any ideas on what could be wrong it would be a huge help. P.S. I have already spend 2 hours on the phone to BT and they had no ideas.

So I have been having tons of software related issues with Rainbow Six Siege ever since I have been playing it on my new desktop. AMDs Adrenaline software does not work with it (i.e. recording, replays, overlay, etc.). Anytime I try and open any overlay in game (steam, discord, adrenaline, etc.) it brings up the scoreboard, and it gets stuck there forcing me to use task manager mid game to close it and restart. It also makes Asus Aura close in the background, so when I play siege half of my RGB turns off. And just a few days ago I hit play on steam and Windows crashed as soon as it went to launch. That was the first time Windows had crashed for me so I took it as an anomaly, but today it happened again. And here is the real issue. After windows automatically restarted, the game had "uninstalled" itself from my library. The game shows up as not being installed and prompts me to reinstall it, even thought when I check in my Steam library's common folder all of the files are still there (the folder totals 76gb). My main question is if anyone knows how to get steam to re-recognize the game (short of just deleting the rainbow six folder and then installing it again), and also if anyone knows why I would be having so many issues with the game (I would at the very least like to avoid any future windows crashes).

So when I look at ops in the operator menu, there is a strange effect on all the ops (some are worse than others) where the model becomes corrupted. If you look at the attached image, you can see it particularly around rooks hands. Has anyone else seen this, and if so does a fix exist? I also occasionally have texture corruption in game but I don't have any screenshots of that.
