I used laptops ranging from budget to premium from Asus, HP, and Dell. I always noticed that the HP and Dell mid-range laptops have worse displays keyboard The HP keyboard is the weak point to me with the worst keystrokes I can compromise on other things like display and chassis quality. On Dell display is of mediocre quality I have seen so many laptops with white or black dots on the screen just after a few months in some cases flexing chassis trackpad sometimes stuck on click I used to recommend HP or Dell (mid-range laptops ) to people but now I recommend Asus compared to others it has a better keyboard and comes with fingerprint authentication, a metal chassis with less flexing while typing acceptable display, and a trackpad. It's my personal preference based on my experience -
Hi! I am new to this forum and looking for a microphone for my family church. We use a laptop to go live on youtube and we are currently looking to get a better sound quality. We were thinking about getting a podcast style microphone. our budget is 30-50 usd. The Microphone would be no more than 5 feet away from the person speaking. Any suggestions?

The colours on my monitor (Samsung 43" M7) look so much better and natural when connected to my Macbook Air via USB C than when I'm connecting to my desktop. A note is that I'm connecting to my desktop to my r9 290x GPU via a display port to HDMI adapter. So the HDMI is connected to the monitor and the DP adapter is on the GPU. Any thoughts on what's causing this difference in colour? The GPU? DP-HDMI Adapter? Cable? Basically the monitor looks too saturated and too much contrast with my desktop -
Hi guys! I am here to seek help for my videos! I have bought since a year or so a sonya6400 and I have been quite happy with my photos. I am not a professional and I have been saving up to buy new lenses. I have been pretty sad honestly about the video quality I get out of my camera and I do not understand AT ALL the reason! At the beginning I was using a standard 1080p and it lacked details so I decided to move up to 4k and tried to use HLG3 recording but still the results are as bad as before! In these two clips you can see the comparison between my sonya6400 and the kitlens vs a sony a7 IV with a good lens(not sure which was it). The results are like too different! I do not understand how come! Some info about the video that I know are: file size: 27.9GB after 1h ca. of continuous recording ISO: 12.800 ; F.8 ; SS. 1/60 ; XAVC S 4K ; 24p 60M ; HLG3 (-7detail on camera)with adj in post (I also downscaled the video to 1080p during the export to hopefully have a nicer quality but nope) The second video with a sony a7 IV was like 60+ GB so that means it was shot(I think) at 24p 100M Is it only a problem of lens sharpness? I think the person who did the second video has a very expensive lens 1k-2k. SONY a6400 SONY a7 IV Thank you already for your time! p.s. I just noticed that when I uploaded the video to youtube of the sony a7 IV there is the icon "4K" next to the video while on all my other videos it never appears even if it was record and exported in 4k p.s. 2 My SD-Card is a Lexar professional 128GB 95 MB/S 633x. Could that also be the problem? -
I record gameplays using OBS and AMD Adrenalin Instant Replay. The problem is if I view my clips or recordings, their quality is very bad on pc. On media player and vlc, but when I send the video to my phone, it looks good. How can it be? -
Hi. I always watch audio focused videos on your channel and noticed you guys always play some songs through YouTube/Spotify/Deezer platforms to validate if speakers are good or trash Ever. I decided to try myself playing on highest quality Spotify sounds like crap Deezer same and YouTube same. Through apps or opera chrome Firefox sounds same. However when i download file from all these platforms on highest possible quality i can put it to test on any media player like Winamp Aimp or even windows media player i discover brand new songs like 3 times better sound. I would like to you to test it and maybe make content of it. I tested on windows with SteelSeries Arctis 9 trying with all possible EQ withing windows apps media players. Same results on android pixel 6 pro with Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 and my flatmate iPhone 12 pro max with airpods max . It just sounds way better If You guys find it useful please spread info to the world Cheers

Hallo Anyone for a Long time i got this issu with Netfilx.95% of the time it all bad quality picture. i got Wire signal from router 80/50Mbps When i use youtube, Viaplay or other streaming no issu at all. i even change the settings in netflix to only do High. witch not working. Grafigcard is a Evga 970 FTW. old But should not have any issu with 1080 vidoe. and i using firefox updated. if i then go on my Tv witch also is wired to the same router Every thing works with netfilx 1080 4K. and picture perfert. any got some idea what can be the reason ?

Hello everyone, English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. Let me get straight to what i wanna say. I recorded a video today for my YT channel and i recorded it in 4k30fps with my phone (Samsung A71). I am at the editing process at the moment but when i finish the editing and all that, should i render my video at 4k60fps or 1080p60fps? All my videos are rendered and uploaded to YT in 1080p60fps quality and this is the first time recording a 4k video with my phone, so will rendering the video at 4k60fps make a difference in quality? Or should i just stick to my normal 1080p60fps render? Thank you! Also i use Vegas Pro 18 as my editing software, idk if that helps you or not but why not lol. -
Il try to keep this short and simple! I'm trying to print some stickers on my printer on some Oracal 651 Vinyl, Both glossy and matte. Neither media seems to be absorbing the ink and is resulting in wet prints that won't dry and are faded. I've tried setting the printer to glossy paper and tried setting it through the printer itself and through windows. Nothing, Nada. I've tried looking online but nothing clear on youtube at least with my problem, just tutorials on how to print vinyl with inkjet printers. Any clues? Thanks! -
So, I have been using Audio Technica ATR 1300 for last 1 year 10 months with a UMC22. Its my bday tommorow and i want to Pick up a new microphone. I really love the Rode podmic and i always wanted it ever since it came out. I cannot afford to buy both a Scarlet 3rd gen and Podmic. So for the time being, It will be Podmic and UMC22. Will these 2 work together at all? Or it the podmic as power hungry as SM7b?

Recently I got a great deal on used iBasso SR2 headphones, condition as new and everything included, except the 3,5 - 6,35mm jack adaptor. The seller said he didn't have it anymore either. This meant it didn't fit in my Asus Essence STX ii, so I used another set of headphone cables I had lying around. I hit iBasso up and they sold the original adaptor separately for a very fair price, and today it finally arrived, so now I can use my headphones with it's original cable. The sound was amazing before but I swear its even better now. However, only today did I notice the original cable is rather short and doesn't comfortably fit around/underneath my desk to the back of my PC. Long story short, I'm looking for a 6,35mm extension cable and I'm wondering how much the quality of this extension cable matters. Any recommendations on brand, pricepoint, do I need a balanced cable or not, does gold plating really matter, etc? Unfortunately iBasso themselves don't sell this type of cable.

In my computer I have a dedicated soundcard (Creative Sound Blaster AE-5) and it can run headphones up to 600 ohms via its dedicated headphone jack (separate from speaker jack). But I would like to have easier (and cleaner) access to plug in/out my headphones. Is it possible to use an audio extension cable from that plug, or will this hinder the impedance somehow? Headphones requires 65 ohms of impedance. And no, I'm not gonna buy an external DAC, as the AE-5 is more than excellent once it is setup properly.

Got a GTX 1080ti for use with Virtual Reality. Been using it for a couple of years, but then I saw people video of people getting much better quality and speed. I also noticed regular flatscreen games are not performing as well as some others who use the same card. I tried upgrading to SSD and a couple of other things, but only noticed marginal improvement, nothing like what's on the online videos. Even with low end games like "Risk of Rain 2", the FPS can drop to even below 30 at some stages (screenshot below, FPS top left). Bought the above board for my middle range, function-over-fancy PC build. key specs are a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1660 Super, with 16gb (8x2) of DDR4 RAM. A friend raised to me his concerns about the longevity of this board in the above planned build. I'm not concerned with the size of the board and the features / connectors it offers me are well sufficient for my needs. I also am not going to be overclocking my CPU anyway. I'm only concerned with the quality / reliability of the board. Can anyone shed some light on this? Online reviews seem mostly good, but I'd like some input from you guys. Thanks. -

Just put together a complete system, with the aim of not only using the 2100$ budget to build a complete system, with monitors, peripherals & OS etc. included, but also aiming for quality components by trusted manufacturers. I have settled on 1080p, because I do not care about 4k and all that jazz. Hey there guys, I am currently looking for a good tablet for light media consumption and for looking at lecture notes and jotting down stuff in class. My Budget is very tight as I have blown all my money into buying the alienware 15 r3 . I am looking for something thin, light and portable while having good battery life and usability. It would be even better if I could use some sort of stylus for it so that I can jot down notes in class. I don't mind buying second hand. There is this guy who wants to sell me his ipad mini 2 16gb for 135 bucks. Is that a good deal? If no, what do you guys recommend?

Hi guys, I need your opinion about these headsets. Razer Kraken 7.1 USB and Razer Kraken 7.1 USB Chroma I want to know is there any difference between these 2 headset except Chroma light. Do these headsets break easy, what is their quality, do earcups fit over ears because I want that and is their microphone good for using in CS GO, Skype, Discord and etc. Sound is really good what I can see from other forums. I don't want to hear on only right side because of bad cable or quality so give me your experience, pros and cons and some advice. Thanks!!!

Hello, In my living room I have a 7.1Onkyo home theater system and last night the reciever decided to give out on me and not produce any sound. I have access to a pioneer vsx-521 reciever for pretty cheap with speakers. Now it doesn't get used a whole lot upstairs so I was wondering if I used it for my pc would it be worth it. It would be hooked up with HDMI in and HDMI out and would through that HDMI it would carry audio and video if my GPU supports it. My question is would I recieve a noticeable amount of input lag and would the quality be worth it? Also my monitor does 144hz so it would be nice to be able to continue using it. Mother board: z97 gaming 5 Memory: 8gb ddr3 1600 GPU: Radeon HD 7870 ghz edition Cpu: i5 4690k oc'd to 4.2
