Looking for recommendations for a, QHD minimum, 32" monitor with 165hz, or higher, refresh rate. Prefer 16x9 as I run two side monitors as well but this is to replace my center main display. VESA HDR400 minimum, but prefer HDR600. I am fond of Samsung's QLED displays so have been looking at the Samsung Odyssey G7 (c32g75t) ($550 usd @ my local microcenter). I know this is the 'old' model and that the NEO G7 has mini-LED instead of edge lighting, but the price jump is a bit too much. Are there any comparably priced mini-led monitors that carry these specs or just better monitors in general around that price range?

Hi, ive recently been considering buying a new monitor for my setup, been looking at a 34", 4k 144hz monitor from a company called electriq for £300, the cost isnt exactly a concern but its something im considering. My concern is that im not sure my 3070 will be able to handle a massive 4k monitor, a 2nd qhd monitor and a 3rd 1080p monitor. My gpu is the MSI SuprimX 3070 Heres the link for the monitor https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/H6TzK8/electriq-eiq-34suwd144fshq-340-3440x1440-144-hz-monitor-eiq-34suwd144fshq I'm just still not sure if its fully worth it since ive not heard of the brand before and am not an expert with monitors. Any help is appreciated

I got an LG 32QN600 display, 1440p, 75hz, Freesync. When I plugged it in it would only display 60hz and Freesync was off. When I turned Freesync on, the refresh went to 75hz, but the res went down to 1080p, and I can't find any way to display 1440 with 75hz. Is this just a design flaw, or could there be a way to achieve that? Thank you!

I've been using my 3070 on my cheap $90 hd monitors for a while now, and decided that the next big upgrade would be my monitor. I had set a budget of about $300usd, willing to go up to $400 if it's really worth it. I also wanted to wait till primeday sales, but increasing cost in tvs is making me worried that monitor sales might not be a thing this year, or they might just go up. 2 examples I'm looking at: Sceptre Curved 27 inch QHD - (C275B-QWD168) - $329usd - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z38L765/?coliid=I26P4UW55CJKXI&colid=1W1EUDBTT9LYI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Acer Nitro - (XV272U KVbmiiprzx) - $429usd - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XMZZMW1/?coliid=I2GJ8MNTMG4BFJ&colid=1W1EUDBTT9LYI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it They both have high refresh rates (165hz vs 170hz), both offer hdr400, VA vs IPS (i work in daylight and play games at night so not sure either or is ideal), and both are 2021 models. In the end, is the $100 difference in price worth it? What marketing point am i missing? I haven't seen these (or any) monitors on display at any local store to take a look, so this is all just shopping via specs.

Hey guys, So I'm and in the market for an 32" or bigger monitor for my recently upgraded system. My budget is $400ish and I've sort of narrowed my options down to these 2 monitors: 1) Gigabyte M32Q for $370 2) Acer Nitro XV322QU for $350 I know the M32Q comes with an integrated KVM, but in terms of performance (i.e. - color accuracy, response time, refresh rate, etc.) which one is superior? Or, if you have any other suggestions, please feel free to share them!.

Hello Mates, I am looking for some recommendations from you for my next monitor. I am setting up some requirements so it will be easier for you to recommend. Usage: 1. Gaming mostly AAA RPG, FPS, RTS, Sports (FIFA), Racing and very less MOBA 2. Play from my PS4 Pro 3. Watching movies, web series 4. I sit close to the screen, and because of distance and space issues, I need a 24inch or 27inch monitor Present/Future capabilities: 1. I have a GTX 1060 6GB, I know its not enough for 2K gaming for the latest AAA games, but its acceptable with moderate settings based on some youtube reviews. 2. Also my target GPU GTX 3060 ti is now beyond acceptable price range, but some point of time it might be possible to buy one. Then 2K gaming would be easier 3. May be a PS5 upgrade sooner if the GPU market stays like this. Feature Requirements: 1. Either 24inch 1080p or 27inch 1440p (but not 27inch FHD) (16:9 not 21:9) Irrespective of screen size the below features are required: 2. VA or IPS (or OLED if possible in budget), not TN panel ( I dont like the strong Back Light Bleed or the IPS Glow, it should be well contained) 3. 1ms response (low GtG and MPRT values) 4. HDR required and 10bit color 5. High rated sRGB and DCI-P3 at 90% or higher for better HDR experience 6. 2 HDMI (2.0) ports and at least 1 DP ver 1.2 7. Variable Refresh Rate upto 144Hz (min 120Hz) 8. G-sync might not be possible at the price point, but Adaptive-sync or Freesync is acceptable as those are now compatible with GTX 10-series and above. 9. VESA wall mount Not Important but nice to have: 10. USB ports, 11. Curved screen 12. Might never use but won't complain if there are speakers. Budget: 1. For the 24inch FHD it is $300 or approx 20000 Indian Rupees 2. For the 27inch QHD it is max $400 or approx 28000 Indian Rupees Thanks in advance

Hey guys, Apologies if there's already a similar thread somewhere that I haven't stumbled on, but as the title indicates I'm on the hunt for a modern-day comparable monitor to the Asus PG279Q. Some early research has me pointing towards some Acer Predators (XB271HU) or an LG 27GL83. From what I've seen these are also older models with their fair share of firmware issues or persistent flicker. Anyone with some recommendations or insights towards these models or others that would be solid choices? Edit: I'm seeing some mention of the Gigabyte G27Q. One more model to take a look at, but some opinions would be much appreciated.

Hi all, I'm here to ask a question regarding my new 75hz QHD monitor. First off I already connected the monitor up to my ASUS Laptop and I just want to know if I'm getting the best out of the QHD resolution on my Monitor. I successfully connected the monitor to my Laptop with the HDMI cable and everything seems good so far. I fear that my Laptop lacks the horsepower to display the QHD resolution at it's best. I don't play games or anything too demanding, most of it is web searching and watching videos. I do experience lag but that is an issue I had with my laptop for some time now. Thanks in advance.

Hi, im looking for a new monitor for my system (RTX 3060 Ti). I am thinking a 27" QHD monitor with at least 120hz RR and good image quality. I dont want curved or VA panels. I live in Turkey so we dont get amazing pricing like in the US. Other similar options from brands like MSI, LG, Gigabyte and Viewsonic are either over 400$ USD or N/A. However i found these two monitors for what i think is a good price for my country at least: ASUS VG27AQZ (338$ USD) Dell S2721DGFA (351$ USD) I know the Dell is good, but how is the ASUS option? Which one should i choose?

Hi There I'm looking for a good monitor recommendation. I want it to b ether 27 or 32inch it can be 28 or 31.5 but between 27 and 32inch. I would like it to be 2560x1440 or UHD (3840x2160) I'm more keen on UHD but given i want at least 120hz i know UHD in 120hz can be expensive. I want an IPS panel, with good color and if it was able to do HDR that would be good to. 1ms GTG would be ideal but im not an esports person so if it wasnt thats still fine aslong as its got a good response rate. G-Sync compatible is fine so AMD free sync that works with NVIDIA cards would be good. I don't care about the monitor mount as long as i can mount it to a 100x100 VESA mount. Couldn't care less about RGB on the monitor. 27-32inch monitor 2560x1440 or 2840x2160 120hz or faster dont care about 360hz 165 max would be more then enough. IPS, Good color and HDR with 1ms GTG or close to it. VESA mountable. If you have a good recommendation and first hard experience with the monitor that would be good. Thanks

Any good value for money 1440p 144hz IPS/VA monitors around? So now i have a UHD 60hz ips screen with g-sync hooked up to my 1080sli setup, i want to buy another monitor for dual monitor setup, is it possible to hook up one monitor with UHD 60Hz and another monitor with QHD and 144Hz, so they run at the same time and one is used for shooter games and the second one is for other games (like Civ6 or else) and while gaming i can use one monitor for something else, like looking up on google smthing or changing music...

I have been searching for a 1440p (QHD), 16:9 32" monitor that is significantly above 60hz (without unstable overclocks), with decent color and contrast. I came across this Korean model on Newegg. Seems like a reasonable price for the features, and is pretty much everything I am looking for (besides maybe the curve, I would prefer not having it). The thing is, IT HAS NO REVIEWS. I could find a couple reviews on other models made by the company, but not this one. The most I could find is this interesting 10 second clip of the underglow light? Anyone heard anything about it? Think we can convince Linus to buy one to test? He seems ok with buying interesting Korean monitors. Hey y'all! So.... I tried to use a DECKED OUT razer blade and core as a desktop replacement. I built my desktop anyway thought and as a desktop replacement It works! It really does, buttttt it's just not enough power for me and I can't bring the core with me REALLY! (Could just build a mini atx tower and boom....) and it just dawned on me.. I could trade this setup for a laptop I'm more interested in! (I've got the late 2016 QHD 512gb SSD BLADE 14" i7-6700hq, etc) anything with a 1080, and a mechanical keyboard. 15-17" screen at 4k resolution. Boom. Do you think that's possible? I'm gonna check the classifieds, but I've got a blade pro sitting here I "borrowed to try" from an online company that delivers packages suPRIMEly fast if U catch my drift i cant sell it on classifieds here as I don't have enojgbt posts and in 3 days I have to return it. There may be some NON razer laptops to check out (I love ASUS and MSI)

So I just built a new system. Purely for media consumption. Netflix, a lot of gaming (csgo and fallout types alike), dank memes, you get the idea. I currently have a 6600k OC'd to 4.1ghz and a zotac amp! gtx 1080 at their factory superclock with 16gb of ddr4 ram. I also currently have a 1440p 60hz monitor. one of the Korean panels from awhile ago. I am looking at new monitors. I have always had a 3 monitor setup, and am pretty okay with having 2 lousy 1080p 60hz TN panels as peripheral monitors for awhile if needed. I know the 1080 will run most games right around the 1440p 144hz threshold as well as 4k 60hz. A VA or IPS panel is pretty much needed as I can't think of buying a TN panel with so much money potentially thrown around. the main question is what would be the most noticeable, the refresh rate boost or the res. boost? and what monitors do you guys suggest? im still entertaining the fact of a 27" 1440p 144hz, 4k 60hz, or ultrawide 1440p as long as I can get over 60 hz.

Hello guys!(: So I have saved some money and I am thinking of getting a new monitor soon (in the next 1-3 months hopefully). My rig includes a GTX 1070 (signature for full specs). I am mostly enjoying single player experiences (like The Witcher 3, GTA 5, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider etc..), so I want vibrant and vivid colors, and I don't care about FPS that much. Also playing a lot of League of Legends. My initial thought was to get a 27", 1440p, G Sync, IPS monitor. But damn, the G Sync really gets the price TOO fucking high, so I rejected it. My research have come down to these monitors. Would love to hear opinions/experiences from you. 1. Asus MX27AQ https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xRGj4D/asus-monitor-mx27aq (No Vesa mount, shitty base, awesome panel) 2. Dell U2717D https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QpH48d/dell-monitor-u2717d (pcpartpicker photos have a shitty base, though in some other sites it's the adjustable typical Dell base) Don't know the differences between U2717H etc. I also think this is a newer panel. 3. Viewsonic VX2778-SMHD https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2778-SMHD-1440p-Frameless-Monitor/dp/B01GV9H6BE (I'm reading very good reviews about this panel, very vibrant colors etc.) 4. Samsung CHG70 http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/samsung-chg70 The most expensive choice. It has FreeSync (not ideal for my Nvidia card) but I'm reading it's a steal at this price point. Perhaps best color of them all. The thing is I know nothing about the panels, which is newer (can't find the release date for most), older, better, etc. And those stupid namings are not helping.

Hey everyone, so i am going to buy most probably Ryzen 5 2600 + Vega 64 and i think 1080p does not suit for this components, so i probably want to buy 1440p monitor, currently my favorite is AOC Q3279VWFD8 - LED monitor 31,5", but i am not sure how is 31,5" with 1440p isn’t it too big for 1440p ? Also i think 60hz won’t be enough, so i want to stick with at least 75Hz, (144hz will be maybe too much i think, but i will let you give me some advices). If you know any better monitor i will hear you out. Thanks for any tips and advices .

Suggest good 1440p 27 inch IPS What I do ? I do a bit of pro Photoshop rendering, help friends with occasional video effects with Vegas Pro and after effects for her cat YouTube videos. Play crusader kings 2 , hearts of iron, battlefield, civilization vi and bioshock. Watch movies 1080p+ all day after work. Requirements 1. 1440p 2. IPS panel, I don't play Csgo 3. True 8 bit+ colour 4. 27 inch screen 5. Good standard RGB colour Budget Not more than 400$ . Roughly 30,000 India Rs. Even that's quite a lot for me. Why the sudden urge to buy one? Was using 24 inch Asus model for 7 years now. It meet with a sad accident. Graphics card in place? can upgrade. Currently using Asus ROG Nvidia Gtx 960ti. Please do help

so i currently have a predator xb271hu that runs in qhd at 165fps and im looking for a second monitor. since this is already a really good monitor, should i be looking for a 1080p that runs at 240 fps, or a 4k that only pushes 60fps?

My current build is a R5 2600 and GTX 1060. I am willing to play at low settings if it means to hit the higher FPS mark. I first want to purchase a monitor and see if things work out for me. A GPU upgrade is planned in the future. I usually have difficulty in spotting objects and noticing things quickly enough in games. I really can't enjoy a lot of what I used to. I'm hoping a high refresh rate will aid me. Not sure on price, but I am a budget guy. G-sync certified prefer. However G-sync compatible will also do. 24 inch to 27 inch. Ideally 1440p, Lowest response time, with least amount of ghosting, motion blur, etc And having Anti-glare (matte finish or something) Sadly there are no local stores here with the monitors on display. I am open to the following brands, but if you have something else in mind let me know please- Acer Asus LG AOC does come to mind but I don't know what kind of service they have where I live. I am reading all I can on the subject. The major problem is picking a model considering the current build, budget is also a thing.

Hey dear LTT Comunity. So it´s been quite a while since i started to look for a new Monitor. I´ve got two 24" 1080p Monitors and my new main monitor should be bigger and sharper. Since i buy a monitor once and have it for quite a long time i want it to be 27", QHD..2560x1440, more than 60hz and..i just feel like i realy just want it.. curved. I´m not playing competetive shooters so i dont need 1ms reaction time, but i want nice colors and contrast. Why is it so hard for me to find such a monitor? I´m obviously not going for a 27" 1080p monitor. I don´t want 4k. i don´t want a Panel with super fast response times but lousy colours. Do you maybe know some models wich fullfill my specs? Thanks in advance and greetings from a new member from vienna :)
