Hi. Firstly, sorry if the title was vague, but I don't know how to properly word it. I have a website (which is actually part of it, a forum) that I downloaded in October 2013. I want to make it available online. The forum was entirely downloaded using HTTrack Website Copier. If I click on "index.html", I can browse through like it were the real thing, while still online. I want to make it available online, but without paying any hosting, since I don't expect many visits anyway. Also, I have a computer which is running 24/7. Even installed a 80 Plus Gold PSU on it. Although I don't pay for any hosting service, I do have a domain (razzee.site). The domain itself is forwarding to a website I have hosted through BRLOGIC. In this case, would I need a different domain? Can someone please point out the easiest way to do it? If needed, I can share the website itself (through a private message), if it makes anything easier to explain.

Okai, so I wanted/need to set up a server. I have done it before on the very same computer, it's a old computer that I don't relay use anymore. but since I hosted a CS:GO server on it the last time I have moved and had to set it all up again. the scenario is still the same tough, I had to portforward between to routers, no issue there done it before and did it again when I use a portforward checker that I downloaded I finely got it working after some tinkering. This time I decided to use the GUI based server setup thing, seems to be working just fine. I start up the server, it tells me my public ip is 31.204.73.114 so to connect to my server the address should be 31.204.73.114:27015 27015 are the port that I am using. how ever, it only shows in LAN on my community server browser with the static IP that I gave me server pc. I'm relay frustrated as I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. It should work now as it did before, but it clearly does not. also when I have your guys attention, I was thinking on buying a new procecor for the server pc. the spec currently are: athlon x2 250 @ 3.1GHz, I could't get more than 0.1 more out of it on that motherboard. 16GB ram, and very unnecessarily I know, but two 500gb HDDs, how ever, when I test play on the server it sometimes "lag's" slightly, and that is the times when the processor usage peaks above 80 % witch tells me I might need a slightly better CPU, would a Athlon quad core at 3.7 GHz be sufficient? I relay want to get the server up and running as fast as possible as I need it to the Telenor E-sport qualifier early next moth hope to get some help and I will try to provide more information upon request regarding the server issue. best regards - Pål-Marius. I am trying to find a piece of software that will allow me to create a photo viewing kiosk. I have a windows 10 AIO which it needs to run on. All I need it to do it display pictures and allow people to scroll through them. It needs to be fullscreen so that people cant access the desktop or anything, I only want them to be able to see the pictures.

so i could go into the details of my project, but all you need to know is that i'm running a arch Linux system connected to the internet via a powerline and a switch. i need to be able to ssh into it from an external network. this does not currently work. i have an ip that research tells me is in the private ipv4 range. so i figured i needed a public ip. i found that the ipv4 public range i full and expansive. i think one of the 2 quintillion public ipv6 ip's would be fit. thats where i got stuck. do i just set a unused ip as my own static ip? do i contatc my isp (telenet)? can i requeqt it myself? does this cost money? do i need to do it in router settings? thx in advance

Hey guys, I have a trip planned to some local mountains, and I have a shopping list for it and future trips I want to take my camera on. I have $450 to get everything I need. I need a bag, I have the Nikon kit bag that came with my camera, but I hate it, walking in the thick woods behind my house it gets stuck on everything and I have had my 55-200 fall out of it twice after getting stuck on thorns. I was thinking about a backpack style bag any suggestion would be appreciated, I know almost nothing about camera bags. I need something I can have few lens in and a way to carry a tripod or monopod and maybe a flash. If I can't afford everything I would rather just use the bad Nikon bag over not getting something else on this list. The next thing I think I need is a tripod, something to do long exposures in the middle of the wood, and that will work in a studio environment. What kind of memory cards do people tend to trust that are cheap and work with photo and video on a D3300. Just started in photography about a year ago. Trying to decide what prime to start with, crop factor has me a bit confused. The current lenses I am looking at are the Nikon AF-S FX 50mm f/1.8G Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G I am having a problem with the 50mm and using it on a crop body I have looked up videos and if I do have it correct then the 50mm would have the same FOV as a 75mm if I do understand how this works if not then please explain or link to a video. Most of what iI shoot so far are portraits of family, As well as tech stuff like mice keyboards and plants like the photo attached. I mostly like to shoot plants and still wildlife like flowers and leafs what other lenses would be recommended. the reasons I am considering these lenses are because they seem to be lenses that everyone can make use of. I want something that produces more bokeh than my kit lens. I have a few night shots I have tried in my living room using Christmas lights in the background and I wanted nice little balls of light but instead got just a blur, should have kept the photos, but it just wasn't what I wanted.I really like when photographer separates the subject from foreground and background with bokeh/blur. also need a way to edit RAW photos from my camera, currently using ViewNx 2 anything better that is free or cheap and/or thing to look into in the future, would like to learn one that i can import from Nikon cannon or any other brand so if i switch one day i will not have to learn a new editing software. what other stuff should I add to my list filters, any suggestion I would be happy to hear. Question about public shooting. I live in the south of the united states, and in a pretty boring small town. Not much to shoot that I fell is interesting, I feel like the few times that I have found an interesting subject in public I never have my camera with me. Since I have started photography which has been about a year my camera has only left my house once, and then I felt embarrass to leave the car with it. Did anyone else do that when you got started, I feel like I don't know the appropriate time to take my camera with me. Feels like a bad question because I shouldn't care what others think unless it is friendly criticism, but I feel like people where I live would get very mad if I tried any form of street photography or even have a camera around them. Sorry for the long post, I just really enjoy this as a hobby and finally have more money to throw at it because I have really enjoyed it lately, either this of a new 1070, and I don't really play game much anymore, trying to get away from the computer and I don't want to make big buying mistakes.

I'm new to this site and I've been having trouble finding the solution to my problem anywhere else. I live in an apartment that provides its resident free WiFi. In order to access the WiFi, you need a device's MAC address. This isn't a huge issue except with all my smart home devices. My other issue is that even with both my chromecast and Stadia controller connected to the WiFi, they aren't linked to each other. I figured that my own private network piggybacking off of the apartment's network would be the fix, and I do have ethernet access to connect a router, but I do not know what I'm supposed to do to create it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, i want to setup up some gaming servers in my locality (public hosting). At least 3-4 servers that can handle Rust and other heavy duty games. Don't worry about the expenses, as in for setting up the servers . I have people who can invest in this thing. I just want to make a small business out of it . I need to know about all the potential problems i could run into , a suggestion on the specs of all those servers , what kind of software i should probably use , I'm considering renting a lease line. So i want the lowest possible speed i can run all these games on . You might wonder why all this . Actually I'm from India. i get min 150 ping on almost all games(fortnite,rockect league,rust and many others).I just feel i can make a good business out of these servers. give me a viable deal . So i have an encyclopedic question that i have come up with recently. We all (or most of us) know the high risks of connecting your devices to public (open or secure) wifi hotspots. Risks vary from packet sniffers, keyloggers/ screengrabers to man in the middle attacks. So here goes my question. I have recently acquired a Huawei MiFi Mobile WiFi Hotspot that supports both LTE Tether and WiFi Extension ( wifi repeater). In a scenario that i do not connect my phone directly to the public network, but instead i connect to the MiFi network (using the credentials of my MiFi) that repeats the public WiFi ( MiFi connects to Public WiFi and phone connects to MiFi) am i totally, more or not at all protected from the risks mentioned above? If i had to guess i would say that yes i am more protected because the MiFi connects to the WLAN of the Public Wifi and then creates a seperate WLAN with my device but i may be totally wrong on this. Please elaborate to explain your answer in depth and correct me if i am wrong. Thank you.

So I'm at a loss for what I'm doing wrong here. If I set plex to automatically configure a port it successfully establishes a connection for about an hour and then magically looses it so I decided to manually set up a port..... with no luck I might add. Do I need to set up a Dynamic DNS? I'll include some screenshots. Server has a static IP also

I'm setting up a computer for public use at a library. It came with windows 10 home. I need to set it up so it doesn't remember any changes a user makes and starts them fresh from the default profile each time it logs in. Essentially what the guest account used to be on previous versions of windows. I've got the default account customized using audit mode and sysprep with copyprofile. I've been unsuccessful in setting up a mandatory profile and have turned to registry editing to reroute the location of the user directory to Users/TEMP, which works well, but always shows warnings about it being a temporary profile. I'd like to suppress these warnings if possible in order to not confuse users. I'm open to any suggestions for other methods of locking the system down too.

Hey, I was wondering how many people or how many city's, towns and so on have hacker spaces? I currently go the biggest one in Canada known as skullspace (Look it up, I have a photo from there of me and a friend trying to brake ninjaflex, didn't go so damn well). I was just wondering what your city's hacker space is like. What would you like to see in your city's hacker space if your city didn't have one? Just wondering because maybe LMG should open a hacker space to make extra money and do workshops with fans! If I had the money to fly out there I would join a hacker space that would be hosted by LMG. What about you guys?

So at the complex I live in they have a public "business center" that has four computers set up all networked to a printer. They are definitely not configured as they should be security wise and I frequently see them destroyed with toolbars and hijacked default search engines. I recently found that they have WinVNC installed and some other dubious software that wouldn't even display it's name in the tray. I do not know how long this has been installed and if this is something from the complex for monitoring purposes or if someone within the complex has installed this and is looking to sniff through other people's stuff. I had to log on to some key accounts to print off shipping labels there and immediately after changed my passwords on a separate computer. My question is is that something to be concerned about and is it likely that the complex themselves installed it for some purpose. It seems that the systems are almost entirely unmanaged. The computers are frequently broken from misuse and do not get fixed very often so I would not really discount someone being able to reach admin rights and install it themselves.

Other smartwatches, from companies like Samsung Electronics, Motorola and LG, did not sell well Whatever your feelings on smartwaches are, we can all agree that they just aren't striking a cord with the average tech buying public that tends to make these products take off and last. Its all well and good that some tech writer likes the latest smart watch out of any company, but we are not the kind of market that will sustain the growth. The general public will. You need to convince Joe Smith in "insert city here from insert country here" that a smart watch is a good buy and worth owning, only then can you jump from the pitiful sub-million shipments that Android Wear did last year to the tens of millions that these guys probably want. Fanboys, sheep; whatever you want to call it; Apple knows what it will take to push and maintain their Watch sales. Not people like me. People like my dad, or uncle, or even brother. People who aren't interested in understanding tech but would be interested in using the tech. Apple can either screw up this up entirely and screw up the industry for themselves OR they will have rampant success. Its kinda how they work, it seems. Public betas are a great way to iron out bugs, its nice to see Apple remove the developer requirement on the iOS betas (like they did with Yosemite last year) and allow the general public to test out the software. For people that know what they're doing, of course. You'd be shocked at how many people pay to have their UDIDs added so they can install beta builds and then complain about how unstable or broken things can be - they are betas! My steel series 5HV3's broke (only can hear the left ear after droping them), and now I need another set of headphones that are tasteful enough to wear out in public and can still be quality gaming headsets. my price range is ~100 USD, give or take, and they don't need built in mics because I already have my desktop mic. Some recent news has came up regarding the TitanFall beta for PC and Xbox One. One of the members of RE (Respawn Entertainment), Vince Zampella, came out and said on Twitter (Feb. 15, 2014) that the developers gave him the go ahead to publicly say that the beta will become public. He tweeted yesterday (Feb. 15, 2014) that the Xbox One version has become public, because they want to basically stress test their servers. Although, it isn't unclear that the PC version will become public soon, but the tweet did contain him saying, "PC will follow, maybe tomorrow." Also, Vince Zampella said that Respawn will also extend Titanfall's multiplayer beta at least a day, to make up for the down time players experienced on Friday. Previously, the beta period was planned to run until Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. Me personally, I can't wait to get access to the PC beta since I don't own a Xbox One yet and I just received a Xbox One beta key instead of a PC one. Hey everyone, I tried to hook up a LAN network on Minecraft with Hamachi to be able to play with my friends. The first problem is that we cannot seem to get it working, does anyone know how to configure a LAN via Hamachi or any other service on Minecraft? Also while configuring, I found out that I could not change my network from public, to work of home network, does anyone know a solution to that as well?
