  1. Hi there guys! Lately, I thought about building computers and selling them with a profit. Firstly, I would like to ask you guys about if you know what's the best way of finding parts and deals in the UK? I know that ebay and gumtree is a great way finding these sorts of things. Any recommendations? Any of you had past experience in these things? *** If a placed this post in the wrong section I apologise***
  2. Hello everyone Sorry for my bad english I started mining with a single 1060 6gb months ago because i saw that nicehash method really really easy.. but now i am into mining and running six 1060 6gb on nicehash.. i have not that many complaints other then a blue screen sometimes. But still i am hearing alot about hiveos.. now i think i have that much knowledge that i can switch to different platforms.. but still i wanted to know that should i switch? Since i have seen some guyz on internet having lower power consumption and increase in profit after switching to hiveos.. I don't wanted to pay pool fees and all those things since hiveos has hive on pool which is free.. still i want some suggestions from you guyz that will i get a bit more out of my gpus if i switch to hiveos?
  3. So, I've got a bunch of consoles and games that I need to sell. I'm just curious as to how other people get this job done because I'm hoping to learn new techniques and faster methods in doing it. Thoughts?
  4. Hey guys, I don't know if this is the best place to be posting this sorta thing, but I could not find anywhere else that was closest to this. I got a few Pokémon Cards I want to sell, and all I need to know is how much they are worth. If you have any questions about the cards, I can answer them... because they're right next to me. Anyway, here are the cards. (BTW, they are all from 1995 accept Snorlax, he is from 2007. This is just in case you can't see the date at the bottom that well.)
  5. Why are there websites selling intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz at ~£130 ($170)!? Can someone explain, is it meant to be like an antique or what. I have one in an old PC lying around in an attic. Could I make some profit? Here's one website
  6. Hi, I was planning to build a mining rig, but seen the graphics cards' price on amazon I pretty much abandoned my idea. Each GPU I tried turned out to reach ROI after one year, which is too long. Is there any advice that you can give me? Can I find GPU at a reasonable price somewhere?
  7. Hey guys, I could not think of a better forum to post this question on.. does anyone have any cloud mining sites that they can reccomend? preferr to have free startup. .. thank you guys, I am doing this on a laptop or i would mine on this pc.. I dont have much money at all.. so I am trying to come up with any and all ways to help pay for that new gaming rig.. I am sure some of you can relate to this.. thanks guys, - Mike.

  9. Do you guys think its worth it to try and put together an entry level pc and flip it for a quick buck due to black friday sales? i3 or pentium, 4gb of ram, 1 tb hard drive, gtx 750ti.
  10. Do you guys have any ways that you make money on the side? If so share! I have a job where I work 25 hours a week and overtime isn't an option on the jobs end not mine. I don't have enough time to get another job but was curious if anyone had a good way of making some money on the side.

I know personally never did, and aside from using Edge with it's built-in Bing search to download Firefox I never went near Bing at all. Is Bing integrated into anything else besides Cortana? (assuming anyone even uses Cortana). $1 billion revenue per quarter, that's a hella high number considering nobody I know even knows what Bing is.
  12. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, Apple is making it rain money on levels that might have made Rockefeller get jealous. So, business as usually in the industry it seems. Its nice that they are increasing their dividends to shareholders as well. They haven't reported hard Watch numbers, I'll update if the conference call touches upon that (I doubt it to be honest) Apple makes money. I fully anticipate the shitposts about how their customers are sheep and everything else, thats fine. Apple is on the cusp of beating out almost every single company that is publicly traded in their value and despite them riding the bubble, they haven't crashed. Something I thought would genuinely happen to them, yet it still hasn't. Make good products, make a lot of money. Who'd a thunk it? http://www.macrumors.com/2015/04/27/apple-q2-2015-earnings/

  15. First of all for the record, I bought the bundle as soon as I saw the link... The Sims starter pack alone costs about $80 in Australia, so paying $5 for 8 new titles is pretty jaw dropping. I'm playing devils advocate here as I want to get a discussion going as to what people think the motivations behind this new bundle were. I like to think I'm a charitable person, but the problem is that the average purchase costs system of Humble Bundle means the price is always low and there is no incentive to pay more to the charities available. Even if they had only released half the games available they would likely still have made a significant amount of money for charity. Did you buy Dead Space 3 on release only to now find that people can grab it and 5 other titles for $1? Is Humble Bundle just becoming a staging front for big companies to gain publicity? The Humble Bundle weekly sale has now been completely overshadowed. I'm interested to hear what other people think as nearly 500,000 bundles have been sold with over 13 days remaining, take care everyone and all the best.
  16. As some of you know, I watch the stock market from time to time (as do other users here). I saw this story on Wired about Apple's stock tanking after ER. While reading it, I realized it was copying AMD. Obviously they don't make as much money as Apple (not by a long shot), but the principle is the same. After every ER, even if the news is positive, their stock drops hard in after market trading. Apple's dropped 9% after their ER, according to that article. While AMD's dropped 11% or so after their ER. It could be argued that the reason for this was because AMD has been losing money until last ER while Apple is just weird due to it's size and business, but even after AMD's latest ER where they beat expectations like Apple did, but their stock tanked anyway. It's kind of crazy honestly. Even when the entire market is doing good, their ER's mean pain for these two companies, and I can't understand why.

These enforceable, bright-line rules will ban paid prioritization, and the blocking and throttling of lawful content and services. My proposal assures the rights of Internet users to go where they want, when they want, and the rights of innovators to introduce new products without asking anyone’s permission.” also wants to modernize Title II, tailoring it for the 21st century, in order to provide returns necessary to construct competitive networks no rate regulation, no tarrifs, no last-mile unbundling under the modified Title II, there will be a general conduct rule that can be used to stop new and novel threats to the internet “This means the action we take will be strong enough and flexible enough not only to deal with the realities of today, but also to establish ground rules for the as yet unimagined.” “The Internet must be fast, far, and open. Nintendo is telling YouTubers that if they want to get paid, they may have to delete some videos from their channels completely. Video makers won’t be accepted to the program at the higher revenue-share rate — 70 percent — if their channels have any videos of any games not explicitly permitted by a Nintendo whitelist. Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg wrote on Tumblr last week, he and his personal brand of silliness are more popular than the titles he highlights. “If I played a Nintendo game on my channel, most likely most of the views and ad revenue would come from the fact that my viewers are subscribed to me,” Kjellberg wrote. “Not necessarily because they want to watch a Nintendo game in particular.”
