I was using the G102 Prodigy for more than 2years and recently switched to the G102 Lightsync after the former started double clicking. Immediately I noticed that the tracking at same dpi and polling rate felt a bit slower. Like the mouse cursor was moving a smaller distance across the screen compared to the G102 Prodigy and I had to move my wrist/hand more to reach the diagonal end of the screen on a 24" monitor. My settings were 1600dpi and 1000hz polling on both mice.

Hi! I'm going to build a new pc. My old one is starting to get old and it's making a lot of noise. I've therefore decided to make the most quiet configuration, that can keep the pc relatively cooled. I've made 4 configuration suggestions and I need someone more experienced than myself to have a look at it. I'm repurposing some old parts. A gigabyte sniper m3 motherboard, Intel i5-3570k processor, 2x4 Gb corsair vengance RAM and ASUS geforce gtx 760 graphics card. Everything else is changeable. It's going to be a light gaming PC, so I'm thinking that I'll run it on standard clock speed.P.S. I know it's called noctua, not noctura.Config. 1 Config. 2 Config. 3 Config. 4

The company Tachyum claims the developt an "Universal Processor" with the combined benefits of GPU's and CPU's as a CPU replacement that is 10x faster than common CPU's. Also they say that they will reach the processing capacity of a human braim sized neural network in 2020 by using 256.000 of their Prodigy processors. "A small processor start-up, Tachyum, claims to have developed a 'universal processor platform' which offers an order-of-magnitude improvement over the performance-per-watt of existing chips - and claims it will be ready to simulate a human brain in real-time on the platform by 2020." Here is an article about the claims they make: https://www.bit-tech.net/news/tech/cpus/tachyum-teases-tenfold-performance-boost/1/ And some more for cross-checking: https://www.scientific-computing.com/news/tachyum-announce-new-processor-platform https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/tachyum-unveils-the-worlds-1st-universal-processor-platform-with-more-than-10x-the-performance-of-conventional-processors-300650493.html And the presentation they made: https://www.slideshare.net/insideHPC/introducing-the-tachyum-prodigy-processor

Hello all, I have a Bitfenix Prodigy M case and was wondering what the clearance is exactly, because the stock AMD cooler is cringeworthy in this low-airflow case. I believe the official spec is 160mm (correct me if I'm wrong), but my question is; is this with or without a HDD installed in the case above the cpu area? Would a Hyper212 Evo for example fit with this HDD installed? Thanks in advance

Hello again LTT Community! First off, I suggest going to my original case mod post I did a few years back, where I showed off my DIY side panel window mod. I have made a few parts upgrades since this post, most notably I have a GTX 980 in there as well as some storage upgrades. Link: I am now back with another mod, except this time I am tackling the front panel! I had this idea to make a turbine looking mod where you can see through the front panel to a blue LED fan behind it. TLDR; And here's a build log! I really like the Bitfenix logo, I cut it out so I can reuse it later. Now to cut the fan hole, I screwed this up a little bit by cutting the hole a bit too high so now the cutout from the previous cut visible. Not a huge deal, you can't really notice it in the finished product. With everything put back together, this is what it looks like... Now lights off... I didn't like the white grill, so I cut that out and ordered a black 120mm honeycomb fan grill to put in its place. I mounted the new grill and pasted the Bitfenix logo back on. I then took some U-channel trim and put it around the outside cut, it hides the mistake in the cut pretty well! I'm quite pleased with how it came out, and think it goes very nicely with me windowed side panel. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks for reading! Before and after:

Hey there! I was wondering if i could get a bit of advice on cooling inside a Bitfenix Prodigy. I currently have the windowed side panel installed on the case and two fans that come with the Bitfenix Prodigy installed. Basically, with the windowed side panel, the GTX980 is getting very warm, like almost at 80c warm most of the time when gaming on things like Ark. I was wondering whether it would be beneficial to install some NF F12s instead of the stock case and H100i fans? Or potentially even 140mm fans instead? The h100i makes it awkward to install a second fan at the front so a low profile fan would be needed to add an extra fan in there as well. (The H100i is at the top of the case with fans pulling air through the rad and out of the case.) I'd be much obliged if anyone has any recommendation to improve cooling. Thanks! System Specs are: i7 4790k at stock speed watercooled with a H100i and corsair's stock fans that come with that. Hey there folks i just logged in with my Steam account to ask some questions i couldnt dig up anywhere because they are super specific! As you probably haven't guessed by the title, Im doing my first build. To be precise a Prodigy build. As the minute i saw that case i fell in love with the interior and exterior design. So i embarked on a massive quest, searching far and wide on the immortal plain known as the internet to find my parts. Since i'm on a tight budget as i am a rather poor fellow i came up with this. Case: Bitfenix Prodigy Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+ CPU: AMD x4 860k GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2gb PSU: HALE82 v2 550W NZXT* RAM: Kingston Fury White 8gb DDR3-1600 CL10 kit (2x4) *It used to be the corsair CX430M but ill explain why im probably going with the HALE later Now when i had added all this loot to my wheelbarrow and was about to press the Deliver said loot to your castle button. I felt that my loot wasnt quite glamarous enough understanding the full consequences of me pimping my ride i looked up ancient forums. Which contained information on LEDS, painting your gpu, and different colors with blue LEDS. Since i love myself some aesthetics i settled for this extra list of stuff A windowed side panel for my prodigy 2x 120mm blue led strips from bitfenix alchemy heat resistant spray paint for my gpu's shell Enermax ETS-T40-W Then a few days after this i saw that bitfenix also has sleeved cables So i thought well let's go with a Modular PSU then and make it white to go even better with the whole build And know i am hopelessly stuck as to choose the best color for the cables as i dont know how blue would look and i dont want to overkill it with too much white so here i am wondering which color of sleeved cables i want (ps. i have a HDD laying around so its not missing) If you have any suggestions or advice on the total build then please, do tell!

So, I'm looking to build my first PC and I'm pretty damn limited when it comes to space (hence the m-itx footprint). I've pretty much locked down all my components except for the case and was wondering if you guys could chip in with any ideas on what mini ITX case might suit me best. (based on cooling, how easy it is to build in etc...) Here's my build so far... Intel i5 4690k Corsair h55 water cooler MSI Z97i AC Motherboard MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G EVGA NEX650G PSU 120gb SSD (with plans to add a mechanical hard drive later) Thanks in advance for any input. I need an mATX case that can fit into a suitcase. it doesn't need to be carry on necessarily just as long as it can fit into a standard size suitcase. I've been looking at the "Bitfenix Prodigy M".

Hi guys, Im planning to build my brother a mini atx pc for gaming, mainly DOTA 2 nothing too graphically intense. I have put together this list which is around my price range, £1000, and around the specs I am looking for. Having only build full size systems in the past i'm concerned i'll order it all and it would fit! Would also appreciate ideas on the parts, have I made any poor decisions on the parts? BitFenix Prodigy - £61 - Case MSI B85I - £60 - Motherboard Intel i5-4690k - £180 - CPU Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 970 Mini - £277 - GPU Corsair CXM 600W - £57 - PSU Samsung 250GB 850 EVO - £79 - SSD WD Green 2TB - £61 - HDD Corsair Hydro H55 - £40 - Cooler Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB - £90 - RAM Arctic F12 120mm Fan x2 - £8 - Fan Current Total Price - £913 So yeah, thoughts on the parts I have chosen? And can anyone see any glaring compatibility issues? Thanks for the help in advance!

As the title says, which card should I get, a 980Ti reference or ACX 2.0? I really like the reference design, but I'm worried about thermal throttling and the noise of the blower fan under load, will the reference cooler be much louder than the ACX? Here's my build: Motherboadrd: Asus Z97I-PLUS CPU: Intel i7 4790K CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866 MHZ PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GS Fan 1 (Intake): Corsair AF140 White LED Fan 2 (Exhaust): 120mm Case: BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Black PS. What do you think about my build? I still don't have it yet it's still being shipped, but I can provide photos after all the parts arrive.
-
Since the front of the Bitfenix Prodigy is really restricted, I am thinking of mounting a 140mm fan on the back as an intake, and another 140mm fan on the front as an exhaust. Or should I just mount 2 140mm fans on the front?

Hey everyone, having some serious issues finding a side panel for the Prodigy and I remember seeing a full plexi side panel that was help on with thumb screws but I can't seem to find it again. I'm also looking for other options so if there are any suggestions from the community that would be awesome.

Hey guys! So a while back I found a Bitfenix Prodigy on eBay for 15 bucks with a broken handle and jumped on it. Although the guy failed to mention that the one handle that the one surviving handle was slightly broken so that it could not screw on to the case on one side, thus not being able to hold any weight. This meant I would have to buy 2 handles from Bitfenix. Now this wouldn't be such a big issue if Bitfenix shipped with someone other than FedEx... I need about 30 dollars in case parts and shipping is just under the same price as whatever your buying. And me being on a budget this made buying all the parts needed at that price not an option. Although I did stumble upon this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/chassis-clearance?mode=list Used Prodigy's for half off and free shipping, some practically brand new! I just need to ask before I buy if this is a safe place to buy from. I don't need to be loosing any more money here now that I'm so close to finishing my build. And don't you guys DARE buy these things out now that you know about it! THERE (at least 1 of them) MINE! Oh and I haven't purchased a MOBO yet so other cases are still an option id need be but I really like this case and I have a plan formulating in my brain for a sweet modding project!

Hey guys! So I've been doing some research on the Grid+ fan hub from NZXT. I plan to have this hub in my case so I can control all the fans via the CAM software. I currently plan to have a front 200 as intake, a rear 140 as exhaust, two top 120's as intake, and 2 80's as gpu fans. (noctua fan mod:http://goo.gl/rqKLfy) With this config I will have 6 fans, 7 if I decide to keep the fan on the CPU cooler. My question is if I should go with the Grid+ or is there a better option? I would like to be able to control the fans speeds relevant to the CPU or GPU temps and monitor the current temps on my tablet (an ipad mini that's jail broken) since I don't have a second monitor to put that information on. And I do know that you don't need the Grid+ to install and use CAM. My other question is in the case of the CAM software, when setting up a fan curve what temp does it rely on to alter fan speeds? In the review Linus did on the Grid+ Luke mentioned that the toggle did not change temp the program was basing the fan speed off of, and this would be an almost necessary feature for me to have because I am changing 2 fans speeds based purely off of the GPU temp. I guess the main question is if I should continue with my plan of using the Grid+ or use something else you guys suggest? Thanks, The Nerd

Hey all, So I have just finished up my build in a mATX Phenom (White) a while ago, and wish to have the side panel windowed. I have already switched the side panels with the I/O on to the other side (and changed the buttons so they are not upside-down) and just have a blank side panel to look at now. I live in New Zealand, and could not for the life of me find a place to buy windowed side panels for the thing and came to the conclusion that they aren't made, however I saw that the similar Prodigy series had a variant with a side panel. Will a Prodigy M windowed side panel fit a Phenom M?

For better cooling what should I choose BitFenix - Prodigy ITX or Phenom Mini-ITX ..?
