Hey everyone, I'm making this post because I've had a few issues with said mousepad, and also to leave a feedback about it, in case my posts comes up in Google searches. Pros: Beautiful lighting Easy to use software Many sizes Cons: Cleaning the mouse pad is hard. The RGB plastic pipe around the mousepad will cause a lot of problems that require crazy solutions. I cleaned my mousepad once and apparently I stretched the cloth when brushing it (brushing from the middle to the edges). That lead to the plastic pipe losing its form and bending on two spots. Two months passed and it didn't get his form back. I had to cover it with a towel and iron it 3-4 times (thanks Reddit). This particular cloth accumulates very very much dust and sweat. The area under my mouse feels sluggish. When I pass my mouse above that area it slows down, like it's wet (it isn't). The mousepad is definitely not made for people with sweaty hands. My hands barely sweat, but it's enough to ruin the mouse pad. Prior to this mousepad I've used a Corsair MM200 Extended (also cloth surface) which gathered far less dust and far less sweat. I've used it for 6 years and I didn't have any issues at all with it. I could throw it in the bathtub, brush it clean, hang it to dry, and it would be clean as new. It never lost its form. The rubber underneath the mousepad isn't very 'sticky'. Pushing my keyboard around (adjusting it), pushes the mousepad as well. Huge no-no. Just for reference I use a SteelSeries Apex 7 keyboard without it's wrist rest. I have a Glorious Padded Keyboard Wrist Rest - Stealth Edition so that I can easily adjust the keyboard without moving the wrist rest around, plus it's softer. There's a guide about how to 'properly' clean Prism mousepads. They should warn you to be careful with brushing though. Don't brush it too hard, because it might stretch the mousepad and the RGB pipes will lose their form. -
Title says it all. Dunno where the RGB wires for the AMD Prism Wraith cooler are supposed to plug into my motherboard and I can't find any info online myself. -
My AMD PRISM WRATH COOLER s fan led is giving only two colors white and blue (light blue not dark blue) i tried every software i can only control ring RGB and logo RGB. please help me.

Hello ! I would like to know if this kind of damage would make this cpu cooler unusable . It was damaged in shipping and i am afraid after instaling it not to damage some other more expensive components . Are there gases or liquids in the heat pipes? Or a mixture of both as i read a bit today about air coolers . Do any of you know how to remedy this ? Cheers !

Hello, was wondering if this combo would work. Especially if the included wraith prism would light up. For anyone who says get another board, I can get this board new for around $150 in my country, which imo is a great deal. As the prism seems to be addressable rgb and I can't find any 3pin headers on that mobo. So, is it fine or should I look for another mobo? If so, what would you recommend for around $150? Thanks for all advice, as this will be my second ever build and my first higher end one.

So I'm upgrading an old pc and i've decided to buy ryzen 3 2200g and later on add a dedicate gpu. I'm planning on overclocking both the cpu and gpu and maybe ram. I've looking a lot at prices for ram/cases and other stuff and ive come across this huge sale of amd wraith max. It costs aprox 37$/32 euros.(50% off, dont know if it was overpriced). Ilove the look of those amd stock coolers and i was wondering if this cooler does good compared to other same price level coolers on the market. Also wondering if it will fit on msi b450m bazooka mobo without covering a ram slot or smth (im not really good at mobos). I need answers asap.

I downloaded the wraith prism software and when I open it prompts me to update the firmware (the ok button is grayed out and i can only press the update fw so it's not optional and I have to update it in order to use the software). the update is stuck tho. the progress bar is just empty. I left it open for a whole day and it still did do anything. and it says it should only take a minute. btw when it's updating the LEDs on the cooler just stop the effect and are static (normal since its updating the fw). I got bored after a day and restarted the computer. the cooler wasn't bricked works fine with the rainbow effect so I opened the software and tried again with the same results

Hi Guys, I have a ryzen 2700x on a x370 crosshair vi hero wifi motherboard. Everything seems to be fine except the aura sync. The colors are mixed up.. When i do the rgb calibration, red stays red but the green shows as blue and blue shows as green.. The rgb cable is connected the right way. My led strips and fans connected to my second rgb header is perfectly fine and syncs well. But the cpu cooler has the green and blue color mixed up.. any one else having the same or similar issue?

So right now I have a R5 1600. I got it a while back and it came with the wraith stealth. But recently they came out with the 2nd gen ryzen chips and along with it came the release of the Wraith Prism. I was wondering if I could buy that separately from the cpu and be able to actually put it on my 1600. Would it work?

Hi guys i just build my pc after the deals on black friday and my 2700x with the wraith priism cooler has been running very hot while gaming it get up to 80°c plus and the cooler then gets very loud trying to cool it down. what does your guys fan curve look like? Im using a msi b450 tomahawk max with the nzxt 510 eltie case

Hello there. I can get a Steelseries Elite Prism for around $60, but it dosent have the USB soud card or the phone jack stick. Is this deal worth it? I've read that you can use software to get the 7.1 effect from 3.5 mm. Also, if this is not worth it, can you guys recommend some other headphones (i have a standalone mic) in the $50-$120-ish range? Symantec just announced the discovery of Regin, a new kind of spyware that uses Stealth technology to hide itself and what it's doing on infected machines. So far it has been found on ISP servers, but appears to be targeting companies, governments, research facilities, etc. Apparently it's been active for a few years already. Considering the complexity of the thing, this is designed at great expense by a government. The question of course is which one. Newly released Documents* says that Yahoo (along with other search engines out there) were threatened by the US government to comply with PRISM surveillance requirements, or face a $250,000 per day fine in 2008. While Yahoo fought the demand through the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review, it ultimately lost and complied with the order, which paved the way towards mass surveillance of Internet users. *more than 1,500 pages of once-secret papers from Yahoo’s 2007-2008 challenge to the expansion of U.S. surveillance laws, contents of the documents are still a secret & only a few have been able to 'physically' see them. The FISC ruled that "the U.S. Government has sufficient procedures in place to ensure that the Fourth Amendment rights of targeted US persons are adequately protected and that the acquisition of foreign intelligence to be obtained through the directives issued to Yahoo!, as to these individuals, is reasonable under the Fourth Amendment." Additionally, it ruled that "any incidental acquisition of the communications of non-targeted persons located in the United States and of non-targeted U.S. persons, wherever they may be located, is also reasonable under the Fourth Amendment." portions of the documents remain sealed and classified to this day,only the very top yahoo officials had eyes only access to the released document, even some high tier yahoo team members haven't been able to get access to the declassified documents, the news is out from those who have seen it.. Yahoo, which endured heavy criticism after The Washington Post and Britain’s Guardian newspaper used Snowden’s documents to reveal the existence of PRISM last year, was legally bound from revealing its efforts in attempting to resist government pressure. What exactly happened to these puppies? They seem to have flown right under everyone's radar - no major tech sites mention them nor have we had any announcements made by Steelseries themselves. I've heard random rumors mentioning they'd be released around the 30th september but... Well, without any official statement who really knows. A shame, as I'd love to get my hands on one of those Jet Black editions. Google has only gifted me one random unboxing video and not much else. No one seems to care - or rather, no one seems to know they even exist. Does anyone know when they'll be out or any other relevant info?

With the PRISM scandal in full flow this seems a bit weird coming from the White Houses main telecom adviser: "The White House's main telecom adviser, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), has issued a first draft of a mobile apps code of contact, with the goal of giving consumers more control of their privacy. It was created over several years in cooperation with privacy advocates, app developers and gatekeepers like Apple, Google and Blackberry. If adopted, publishers will be required to provide "short form notices" telling consumers whether or not their data is being collected and how it's being used. Such data would include biometrics, browser history, phone or SMS logs, contact info, financial data, health, medical or therapy info, user files and location data. The document was backed by the American Civil Liberties Union, though it wasn't crazy about the amount of time the process took, saying that "comprehensive privacy legislation" was also needed. It's worth noting that major app store operators already agreed recently to put new privacy policy standards in place that conform with California's Online Privacy Protection Act. There's also the irony of the US government pushing for more consumer privacy, while perhaps being the largest abuser via PRISM. Dig into the source for the full read." Story at /. *mock laughter* So it is the heads of the major companies that have to do the fighting now, is it? I figured it would be the people who's rights are actually being violated, but noooo. Just saying. Them being the ones called to fight and not us (the people) as well as this whole surveillance situation are just symptoms of a much bigger problem. *sigh*, how much was it for that one way trip to Mars again? $35 deposit right? ... Maybe. ... Maybe.

The Washington Post is reporting that the NSA and FBI are collecting data from companies such as Google, Facebook, Youtube, Yahoo, Microsoft, and Apple as part of a top secret government program codenamed PRISM. This news comes on the heels of a report by The Guardian that Verizon has been supplying the phone records of customers to the NSA. I think I speak for everyone when I say this is some disturbing and unsurprising stuff.
