The motherboard name is super weird outside of the BIOS, the BIOS says it is an ASUS Prime B350M-A, but everything else says it is a "30531187-N-e-x-t-G-e-n-1022022337", In the System Information app in Windows, this is what it looks like.

Can somebody please help. I’m working on my first ever computer build. with the following hardware: - ryzen 5 5600x - Nvidia Rtx 3060 ti - Asus prime b450m-a - Corsair vengeance pro rgb 64gb ram (second one will be added soon) - sharkoon 80 plus gold modular 850w i’ve connected everything the fans spin and I got the rgb lights lighting up. but there isn’t any posting. Like nothing no output from the motherboard or gpu. now I’ve did see that for the ryzen 5000 series my motherboard probably needs a bios update. could that be the reason that it doesn’t post?

Hi. Does anyone know the difference between these two PSUs?: - seasonic snow silent 550w (gold) - seasonic focus PX 550 (platinum) I know about efficiency differences, but I am not sure which one is better. The snow silent one is highest (?) Prime line and focus PX is not (?). Snow silent was advertised as "silent" psu because of hybrid cooling mode, but focus PX also has that feature. Looking at the specs, focus PX would be better because it's the same psu but with platinum rating. But it's not white. That's all. Am I right? Thank you.

Will the Asus Prime X470-Pro + Ryzen 7 3800x work together or will I need to upgrade my motherboard to be able to support it? System: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KrrqHz I have all of the parts that are marked as purchased, I want to upgrade my CPU at around the same time that I get the 5700xt

I want to know if by enabling both MCE + XMP would cause potential problems for my board. My cooler is the Noctua U12S Chromax and supposedly my vrms are not great (according to this tier list), especially for an 8-core cpu like the 9700k. P.D: XMP was giving me too much vccsa and vccio voltage on auto, so I lowered them to acceptable limits while being stable.

Hey all, I have an Asus PRIME Z590-A and I'm using Windows 11 Pro In a few words having issue with distorted audio only on the right side speaker, also happens with headphones with the integrated Realtek onboard and front case panel. I've tried removing the front HD audio from the motherboard to see if it resolved issue with integrated audio still no luck. Now this problem I can resolve by moving the right audio slider max volume to no volume a few times and it fixes it and will work perfectly fine as long as I keep using the audio. If I stop using the audio, or goes to sleep or restart or shutdown the PC, it will be distorted again on boot. I sent my MOBO to ASUS and they claim there is no problem with the board or audio Interface. Tried more troubleshooting by reinstalling my OS to WIN 10 same issue probably worse issues. Format and go back to WIN 11 still same issue. Remove drivers for Realtek and try Generic Drivers got it to work good for few days then lost audio completely. Remove all drivers and install Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.9244.1 For Windows 10/11 64-bit. From Asus Website most current, and have audio back but still have original problem as before. Bios is upgrade to latest version. I can plug my Speakers into my monitor that goes to to display port to my EVGA 3060 and no issues with audio (sound Quality is limited to 8 bit or something this way) I am at a loss I've tried removing all USB from PC and just use Audio and still no luck. Thought maybe electrical related purchased New UPS and even tried New speakers still the same issue. I have another PC I bult with an Asus H410M-a and this doesn't happen at all Perfect audio all day long. I created a short clip of how it sounds. I fell like I tried everything if anyone has Ideas shoot them below. I'm short of either buying new Board or using a USB adapter of some sort. https://youtube.com/shorts/e_YXFzgAL4A?feature=share

I have an LSI MegaRAID 9260-8i hardware RAID card running on an Asus PRIME x399-a motherboard. The RAID card works fine, but I can't access the firmware config utility to make any changes to its setup. I tried a previous suggestion to press Ctrl+H at the RAID card's prompt, then enter the motherboard's boot menu with F8 and select the RAID card, but this didn't work; it skipped straight ahead to load Windows. Is there any other way to get in?

So yesterday I embarked on my brand new build! Brand new Ryzen 7 build with a RX480 8GB, 16GB memory, NVME SSD, 2TB drive, all installed into the case, only to find a heap of issues with the board. Firstly, the USB3.0 shrouding. Now I know new boards have incredibly tight fitments, but I have NEVER experienced this before - when unplugging the USB 3.0 header from the case on the board (just for cable management purposes), the shrouding on the board came off, a first for me!! Managed to prise it off and put it back on the board perfectly, no damage to pins, no biggie! On first boot however, big issue - USB Overcurrent issue. it detected a keyboard and mouse in both the board sockets and the case sockets so it clearly had no error as to what I had before, but even with no USB connected, including the shrouding on the board for the 3.0 socket, I still got the same issue. Needless to say I have had to send the board back. To top it off, the motherboard decided it wanted one of the case screws for life - and took with it the case pin to hold it into place! Needless to say, I'll be happy to get a replacement board!

(i didn't see a sub forum that worked for this so i put it here) So...if I switched Amazon accounts on Twitch would I lose anything? My Twitch is connected to my moms Amazon account currently but I recently made my own account...it's connected to my moms household so my account has Prime and everything...but would I lose my prime-sub streak and my twitch goodies/games? TL;DR, would i lose my twitch prime goodies by switching to a different Amazon Prime account.

So I've got me an Asus Prime x370-Pro and a Ryzen 1800x. I'm currently using this Ballistix Tactical 16GB kit, but only because all my other ram doesn't work with Ryzen and this board. Is there anyone out there using a 64GB kit (4x16GB) with the Prime x370-Pro, or really any Ryzen board? I'd check the QVL but it's not reliable seeing as a couple of my other kits are on this list and they don't work with the board. *edit* Please don't just tell me I should stick with 16 or 32GB. I've upgraded from a 64GB machine to this one, and I need a kit that works with Ryzen. I'm not using this just for gaming FYI.

Hey guys, I have a trip planned to some local mountains, and I have a shopping list for it and future trips I want to take my camera on. I have $450 to get everything I need. I need a bag, I have the Nikon kit bag that came with my camera, but I hate it, walking in the thick woods behind my house it gets stuck on everything and I have had my 55-200 fall out of it twice after getting stuck on thorns. I was thinking about a backpack style bag any suggestion would be appreciated, I know almost nothing about camera bags. I need something I can have few lens in and a way to carry a tripod or monopod and maybe a flash. If I can't afford everything I would rather just use the bad Nikon bag over not getting something else on this list. The next thing I think I need is a tripod, something to do long exposures in the middle of the wood, and that will work in a studio environment. I was looking at this https://www.amazon.com/Manfrotto-MKCOMPACTACN-BK-Compact-Action-Tripod/dp/B00L6F16L0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1482252283&sr=8-4&keywords=manfrotto so far any other suggestions are welcomed I don't really know any other brands, I would like something cheaper, but that will hold up well. Currently, I have an amazon basic tripod I got for like $10 and lightly breathing on it blurs everything. What kind of memory cards do people tend to trust that are cheap and work with photo and video on a D3300. Just started in photography about a year ago. Trying to decide what prime to start with, crop factor has me a bit confused. The current lenses I am looking at are the Nikon AF-S FX 50mm f/1.8G Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G I am having a problem with the 50mm and using it on a crop body I have looked up videos and if I do have it correct then the 50mm would have the same FOV as a 75mm if I do understand how this works if not then please explain or link to a video. Most of what iI shoot so far are portraits of family, As well as tech stuff like mice keyboards and plants like the photo attached. I mostly like to shoot plants and still wildlife like flowers and leafs what other lenses would be recommended. the reasons I am considering these lenses are because they seem to be lenses that everyone can make use of. I want something that produces more bokeh than my kit lens. I have a few night shots I have tried in my living room using Christmas lights in the background and I wanted nice little balls of light but instead got just a blur, should have kept the photos, but it just wasn't what I wanted.I really like when photographer separates the subject from foreground and background with bokeh/blur. also need a way to edit RAW photos from my camera, currently using ViewNx 2 anything better that is free or cheap and/or thing to look into in the future, would like to learn one that i can import from Nikon cannon or any other brand so if i switch one day i will not have to learn a new editing software. what other stuff should I add to my list filters, any suggestion I would be happy to hear. Question about public shooting. I live in the south of the united states, and in a pretty boring small town. Not much to shoot that I fell is interesting, I feel like the few times that I have found an interesting subject in public I never have my camera with me. Since I have started photography which has been about a year my camera has only left my house once, and then I felt embarrass to leave the car with it. Did anyone else do that when you got started, I feel like I don't know the appropriate time to take my camera with me. Feels like a bad question because I shouldn't care what others think unless it is friendly criticism, but I feel like people where I live would get very mad if I tried any form of street photography or even have a camera around them. Sorry for the long post, I just really enjoy this as a hobby and finally have more money to throw at it because I have really enjoyed it lately, either this of a new 1070, and I don't really play game much anymore, trying to get away from the computer and I don't want to make big buying mistakes.

Chances are at some point, racing games are going to want the new Amazon series featuring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond; The Grand Tour. Microsoft have famously had the Official Top Gear track for a few years now, but my guess is they won't cross the streams. So what do you think? Polophony Digital have had the top gear track previously, but I believe their contract ended when it appeared in Forza. Then of course, you have Indie tiltes like Project Cars and Asseto Corsa. There could always be new games not yet announced bidding for the rights. Of of course there always a curveball. Amazon may not want to share the rights. Having recently started up their own gaming studio, it's possible a racing game with their AAA driving show tied in would be a key selling point, so what do you guys think? Personally I feel like Amazon won't share. Update: Official Support only, business partnership with Amazon. No Mods, that's cheating. Lol

Hey guys, I have been running a prime95 test for about 10 minutes, but noticed that it started off at 100% CPU usage, but has dropped down to around 85-90%. It seems as if 2 of the cores are not being run at 100%. What would be the reason behind this? Here is a screenshot to show you CAM stats, and you can see in the CPU section what I mean Thanks!

HELP! This is my first build and I've already finished building my pc, however, the USB ports don't work when I try to plug a keyboard and a mouse (both work on other computers). I've done all the building again and I discovered that the USB.3 cable attached to my case had the initials "TKG" on it as well as a cable coming out from the power supply which I had not plugged anywhere because it's not clear where to plug it into my motherboard. My motherboard is an ASUS PRIME 350MA Please suggest what could be the problem, I've checked all cables and they seem to be connected nicely, all fans work, as well as the GPU when start the PC however it doesn't give a signal when plugging it into the monitor, as the USB problem.

Hey all, I have recently built a system mostly for video editing and light gaming. Went for 1700x hoping I will be able to overclock it. I paired it with Asus Prime x-370 Pro mb, Dark Rock 3 cooler with Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz memory. Also, I have GTX 1080. Anyway, I can barely get a stable 3,75Ghz out of my system while most of what I read says 3.9-4.0 should be pretty easy. First of all - cooling. Dark Rock 3 cannot be mounted horizontally so now I mounted it to blow from top to bottom. First, I had the GPU in primary PCI-E slot, but now I moved it to the second one, because the gap was so small. Performance didn't suffer (at least according to RealBench), but temps are a bit better now during RealBench stress testing (max I get around 83 C CPU Tdie according to HWInfo or 103 C CPU Tcle). Now when I think about the mounting of the fan, I should have mounted it blowing up, so will try this next. Another thing - overclock settings. I have CPU voltage set to offset mode +0.031** which gives me 1.38***V in BIOS readout. Also I have CPU LLC Level 1 selected. Heres the interesting part - in AIDA64 I get voltage readings from 1.36 to 1.428 during stress testing in different apps, but HWInfo shows much lower CPU Voltage. Which one should I trust? AIDA64 seems to be closer to BIOS readout, but if HWInfo is correct it would be no surprise that I am not able to get stable 3.8Ghz OC on my CPU. Any ideas or recommendations? P.S. My memory is running at 3200mhz, but I tried it at default 2133 while going for 3.8Ghz overclock but it did not go. P.P.S. My case is Fractal Define R5. I have the top covers opened to maximize air flow.
