Hello i have a problem where my screen will just screen tear and black screen at random times consistently without stopping i have updated all my drivers and the cooling of the pc is pretty good. I connected my current monitor with my old pc and it was running just fine no black screens no screen tearing. Anyone have an idea if thats a problem with the gpu or a problem with my current cable that i use (display port).I am linking a video down below of exaclty how my problem looks video-1641158538.mp4

Today I built my first ever pc, and I have got to say, I impressed myself. The lighting looked good, and it booted perfectly on my first try. Sadly, soon enough, I realized that my cpu temps were sky high, and I was thermal throttling. I frequently hit 50's while idle, and I desperately wanted this to work. I went into bios to investigate. I had plugged the pump into cpu fan 1, and the 2 radiator fans in system fan 2. The rpm for the pump was in the 2000's while the radiator ones were in the 1700's. I could hear the liquid flowing through my radiator, and I was quite confused to how this was not working. I screwed in the pump again, and added more thermal paste, and nothing worked. My motherboard is a MSI MAG B460 Torpedo, and if anyone can help me, it would mean the world. Btw, my aio is vertically mounted in the Roswell prism s lite, with the top of the radiator higher than the pump. My current suspicion is the way I mounted it, as the barbs on the pump circle thingy is on the north side of the pump, not on the east or west side. Does anyone know how to solve this mystery?

Hi I was trying to update my bios but I wasn’t successful and than I decided to overclock my system a bit more than usual and it said that the memory wasn’t successful in overclocking than it when back to default and after that my screen went black and I haven’t been able to post can someone help please? And the system started up normally no lights on the motherboard that tells me something is wrong

Hi, i've recently bought NFS Heat (was on sale for 3 quid) which i thought was a steal. I downloaded it and nothing will load up. I press play and nothing happens and shortly after origin loads up, ive tried lauching thru origin as well.....Please help!!! (PC specs; xeon 1241 v3, 24gb 1600mhz, quadro k620)

Okay so here am I again, Linus tech tips rarely lets me down so heres one for the real "nerds", I am making VRchat worlds in Unity, so, you need to use "VRchat SDK" in order to make proper builds in unity in which can be uploaded to the game okay, I am using Unity version 2019.4.31f1 as required by VRchat to make these builds, In Unity there is a bar at the top labeled "VRchat SDK" and when you click on it there are a certain number of menu options you get, one of those is "control panel" so my issue is multiple options including the one mentioned are gone, the SDK got "corrupted" maybe? I don't know what you would call it but as I was building my project the SDK just got all, half empty. I can provide more screenshots if needed but I think this console log indicates the problem, I just can't read it. Please if you know anything but certainly if you are familiar with "VRchat SDK" let me know what the issue is and why did the my SDK become unusable?

This is a price for a PC only, i want to buy 1440p gaming monitor 32 or 27 inch curved, for gaming (is it good?) and of course gaming mouse and keyboard. I will buy almost all the parts from US Amazon, or from Dubai. I want to play 1080p competitive, but later i will upgrade the Graphics card. I can go slightly above the budget, there is so much info on the internet, especially when i am new at this, so please help this newbie))

So essentially, I have an Xbox One that I occasionally use, the same one that I've used for almost six years now, and the most recent time I tried to sign in, it wouldn't let me. Entered my security pin, says I need a password. Entered my password, says I need to confirm with an email. No big deal, except my recover email is also dead. Enter in my new email, password again, and complete the captcha. Receive the recovery email, enter the security code. Tells me that is suspicious activity and locks my account altogether until they can 'verify my identity'. Again, this is all completely out of nowhere, have barely used this account in the past two years or so, just tried playing some xbox like normal and they lock my account. So I go to the recovery form website, enter my email, password, full name, post code, etc. etc. Complete another captcha, say that I use xbox. Enter my xbox username, and xbox network device ID. Enter part of my card details to confirm identity. End of the form, they send me another email, telling me that the information was not sufficient enough to confirm my identity and ask me to start the process all over again. I have gone through this entire process at least five times in the past two weeks, absolutely nothing has changed. Most frustrating and unacceptable of all is that because they locked my account 'for my own security', I can't access any of the xbox live or game pass features that I am still paying for using the same xbox I have used for the past six years. Even worse, is that again, because they blocked my account, I can't even cancel the subscriptions. So far I've been using an alternative email and an alternative microsoft account to play on my xbox, but I can't access any of my subscriptions on that account because of course they aren't linked because one is blocked. Tried everything short of actually waiting on hold for however long with microsoft support because I imagine the wait times will be even worse in Australia than the rest of the world. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this please let me know, if not, please spread this story, because again, I have done absolutely nothing to warrant this, it is entirely a gross incompetence on microsoft's part, for first creating the problem and then not even creating a genuine way to fix it. I fear this could happen to other people who simply stop using their recovery email, and if microsoft is doing this unintentionally, we need to bring their attention to it now.

Hey me and a friend recently finished building his first pc. We got it to post once and now all the mobo does is flash once then turn off.We've tried the paper clip test, removing storage and trying one ram stick and a new psu but no luck. Hello all, I recently purchased a second hand graphics card ( RX 580- 8gb sapphire nitro plus special edition ) and I have been using it for a few days. Recently the RGB lights and the fans stop working even at high temps. I tried using the sapphire trixx app to manually test the fans but still doesn't work. What could be the issue? Please help me identify the problem, thanks!

I recently found that the switches in my laptop keyboard broke, it's been years and i wanna upgrade to a mechanical keyboard switches. Any ideas on how to do it? I have no experience in fixing keyboards so just gimme a few tips on that. Also, step by step stuff on how to do it. Thanks for reading!!!

Hi! My internet at my house has been messed up for a while now. I did some speed tests with my laptop connected directly to my router with an ethernet cable. For the first speed test I did, I got a 33.43 Mb/s download speed and a 8.44 Mb/s upload speed. (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5894221192) For the second one, I got 4.74 Mb/s download speed and a 4.27 Mb/s upload speed. (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5894223883) For the third and last one, I got 33.17 Mb/s download speed and a 7.02 Mb/s upload speed on a completely different server. Basically, I was using my computer for basic tasks for the past couple months, no games no nothing but google and VB. Today I had friends over and decided to let them play some games on my computer since both of them own macs. They start up CS:GO, game runs for a couple of mins then BOOM BSOD, I shut off the computer and go into bios, I disable any small oc I had and just basically reset all settings. Pc start normally, I look at temps-all fine, Ill look at cpu speed-stock. I run cinebench and before the squares even appear B O O M. Basically I've tried everything and cannot for the love of god figure what is up. The code I got on the bsod read "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT". I have a tiny suspicion it could be my ps since it started making noises recently, but the noises could also just be the bearing of the fan Also one more thing, the pc crashes only when running something somewhat demanding, like video games and cine-bench.

I am having trouble with my sound in call of duty on my pc. i just bought it yesterday and from the first time i loaded it up i had no sound, i went into my settings and configured my output and input. But still have no sound in the game... and i know my headset is working just fine because it works on everything else besides COD.. This is off topic and game related but i have been helped a lot of times on this site so i went ahead and tried to see.

I own an Ideapad 330, 15, and have been facing certain issues with it. It has function utility keys (f8) to turn of and turn on the Camera, and (f4) to turn on and turn off the microphone. Since more than 2 months, these keys don't function. I have kept all things updated, yet they never seem to work. Is this caused by me or a software error? It has a synaptics touchpad, and after a recent driver update, i've lost the ability to pinch to zoom. The hardware is not damaged at all. Kindly suggest a fix for this. The display in one place is struck to a white color, and in white backgrounds is even visible, kindly suggest a fix for this.

So I just bought new ram for my PC, I noticed it wasn’t running at it’s full 3200mhz so I went into my bios and tried adjusting some different values one by one to get it up to its full speed. Adjust something that I believe was called FLCR or FLKR or something like that from auto to 3000mhz and now I can’t even get into my bios

Hello, Currently I am experience some major technically difficulties. My screen has gone and created these blue pixelated lines. This appears in windows boot-up and bios. I have fixed the issue once already however it reappeared the next day. However next day, the issue didn't appear instantly it appeared after several restarts as my PC was restarting every 15-45mins. Then after 4-5 restarts later the blue dots appeared. Please Help me solve this issue. As I do not have the money to buy a new GPU at the time. As the pandemic is not exactly helping my situation. My Specs are : Intel I5-9600K Asus Prime Z390-A Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 4x8GB 3200mhz MSI GTX 1660 Gaming X 6GB EVGA 500W PSU DELL E2318HR Monitor if this makes any difference. Win10 Pro Extra Info: Device Manager labels my GPU with a hazard sign and says Code 43, I have uninstalled my GPU driver and reinstalled it including orders version if it helped. The blue dots do not appear after restarting PC if HDMI cable is connected to MB vs GPU. However when connected to MB in Device Manager GPU is labeled with hazard icon. the other day I was doing some work and eventually ended up resting my head at the keyboard when i lifted it again, the colors on the computer was messed up. the colors that schould be yellow ar either darker yellow or green, and the colors that schould be blue ar pink or purple. have already tryed restarting and shuting off the computer and monitors. i have also been looking for an answer out there but it doesnt seem to be answering my proble i will appreciate all the help i can get.

Hello! This is a repost because I didn't get help. (I'm also not sure if this is allowed..) I have a huge problem. After I wiped my hard drive and installed Windows 10 my internet speeds go to 0 and then back to normal in a pattern. I have tried other WIFI connections but the pattern keeps happening. I solved this by plugging my modem/router into my PC with USB but I also need wireless to be working. The problem is in my PC not in my ISP or my router/modem. Pls help. There's a screenshot.

Okay, so, I have a Dell Latitude e6410( i7 m640, 8GB RAM). A few months before, the laptop worked fine then I started experiencing issues... My laptop crashed while booting. I restarted it then it worked fine, so I ignored the problem. Then it never booted up the first time. A few days later the problem became bigger, I had to start it two-three times before it booted up. Then eventually it didn't boot up for like 5-6 times and on top of that it crashes after 5-10 minutes. It became unusable. What could be the problem? Please help!
