Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue with my video editing project. When I try to use Color Key to remove a white background from my videos, the project only utilizes the CPU for processing, bypassing the GPU. I've attempted various approaches using different effects and methods, but unfortunately, the results haven't matched the desired outcome that Color Key delivers. Therefore, using Color Key is essential for my workflow. However, whenever I activate the effect, the timeline color indicator shifts from yellow to red, which suggests CPU utilization rather than the GPU. I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have on how to enable GPU acceleration for Color Key. Thanks in advance for your help! - - Exporting Lossless 4k HDR 60fps 1 hour long video: without Color Key, takes only 20-30mins. with Color Key, takes 4-5hrs. - My PC Specs: Ryzen 9 7950x3d RTX 4090 Corsair Dominator Titanium 2x24 7200MHz

Hey guys, I need some help getting my PC to boot up for the first time. I have finally finished setting everything up, and when I press the power, all LEDs and fans turn on. The CPU light flashed red and stopped, but I am currently stuck on a solid yellow DRAM light. I waited ~20 min and still just a yellow light, so I tried reseating the RAM and waiting again but still just the light. I then tried 1 stick of ram in the A2 slot and it POSTed, but then I tried 2 again and it did not work. Now not even 1 stick of RAM works. Can anyone provide me with a list of things I can try? Here are my parts: CPU: Intel i7 13700k Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 Rev II Mobo: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-H RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta 32 GB (2x16) DDR5-6000 Storage: TEAMGROUP MP44L 2 TB GPU: 7900 XT Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow PSU: Corsair RM1000x 2023

Budget (including currency): 1.5k -2k AUD: Approx 1.8k - Only would do 2k if really had to but not that comfortable with the idea Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, 3D Modelling I'm struggling to find the best type of motherboard with wifi/adapter that is more on the budget side because I'm not sure how the motherboards without the wifi adapter work. I just installed the 7900xtx, so far so good, except for when im playing rocket league. Every minute or so it completely stops for half a second, and fps goes to 14, until its stable 300 again. (Sometimes there are stutters in other games, similar to this, but never as extreme) I used to have similar drops with my last gpu (5700xt), but not this severe. Does anyone have any idea what could help? Ive tried reformatting windows and updating drivers, but nothing seems to work. PC specs: GPU: 7900xtx CPU: 5800x3d MOBO: rog 450 F gaming PSU: 750W gold, dont remember the type (pretty new, should be good) RAM: TridentZ 16GB 3200MHz I cant see anything being wrong when i have HWmonitor open during the stutters, wattage is around 300-400 max and nothing is going 100%. Ive attached images of the ingame graph if that helps, sometimes the GPU graph spikes, sometimes it doesnt. ANY help would be appreciated very much

Hello! I’m upgrading my GPU from a Tuf Gaming 4gb 6500 xt, but I haven’t quite decided what to upgrade to. My plan is to buy a gpu that can handle 2k at >144 hz. current system: Ryzen 7 5800x Asus Prime x570 Pro Tuf Gaming 6500xt 4gb 32 gb Corsair vengeance 550 watt PSU 1TB Samsung 980 Evo Pro 240mm Radiator for CPU cooling 3 Corsair fans Corsair 4000D Airflow RGB There are a few GPUs that I’ve found on Ebay (I’m buying open box/refurbished). Attached are their names and prices. Please feel free to give me your opinion, or if you find a better GPU, here are some loose requirements: Price: <450 USD w/ shipping VRAM: >= 12 gb RGB: minimum, rgb is a nuisance to control. Thank you for any consideration and feedback! Edit: Also need to upgrade PSU, budget is 200 USD, any recommendations? Narrowed down to the 3 6800xt cards.

Budget (including currency): 1000-1500$ USD Country: America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Streaming,Editing,VR and normal pc gaming for pretty hardcore games Other details (don't have any parts yet,I need my keyboard mouse and monitor but I'm willing to go over my budget for a monitor , its like a 2008 Mac can only run YouTube at like 480 slowly , Now until September 3rd which is my birthday but I can only get one thing and I'm planning on that being the final thing I need so I wanted it to be a GPU so it has to be less then like 650, and I wanna be able to play 4k but ill settle at 1440p and I also want 144hz or above(I like all white setups) SS is what I have rn but I don't feel like its the best bang for my buck.

Hi all, long time lurker, first time posting. So, I'm poor like nearly everyone else, & I had to do my new PC build in two parts; I basically built the entire PC w/o the GPU because I didn't have the funds yet. Everything posted beautifully, even the rgb, but when I finally got my new GPU today, the PC wouldn't post. There isn't even a decoding light on the mobo. So I initially thought I'd joggled something loose, but as I went down the checklist, everything was in place. Since there's no debugging light, I assumed it was a PSU issue & when I started digging around I noticed that a metal insulator on the PSU/CPU cable is missing. This has to be the issue right? I don't think it's just a sensor, but then why was it running fine before the GPU installation? I'm perplexed. This was a hard fought for day, & it's turning out to be very disappointing. Since the PC was fine before, this was the last thing I expected after the build went so smoothly. Anyway, that's my story. I probably am using some wrong terminology, so feel free to correct me. Any advice on how to move forward is appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, forum I currently have a problem with my new PC, which is running single 16 GB RAM Stick (new ones on the way), because the other stick was seemingly a bad stick. (read below for long explanation) The PC as stated has 16 GB 5600 MHz in it currently, but i have an issue of it using so much RAM. Out of the 16 GB, its almost always at 90% utilisation or around 15GB usage. But i dont understand how thats possible when i cant find the cause. I found windows to be using in the systems eyes 30-40% of my RAM, but that aparently in systems eyes translates to 800-1500 MB???? The PC works, but games has understandebly been affected by the PC deepthroating it self with RAM... I could really use some assistence. Although i am hoping its gonna be fixed with new RAM. Full story: So TDLR. I wasted so much time and efford. troubleshooting MB when RAM was most likely the only issue. But now my PC is eating ram like it was candy and there was no tomorrow.

Hello guys. It's time to buy new monitor but I'm not really into that market so I'm begging for help. GPU: RTX 3060 I am looking for: 24-25 inch IPS panel, 240hz(or more if it's worth it), low input lag and low motion blur. I do play often competitive games like CS or LoL but single player games are no exception. I've got a few models I'm thinking about: MSI Oculux NXG253R(~530$) Alienware AW2523HF(~480$) Dell S2522HG(~302$) Samsung Odyssey G40B(~314$) (ViewSonic XG2431 unavailable sadly) Obviously I'm looking for the best price/value ratio. I'm questioning myself if 360hz is worth that additional money. Worth noticing is that in one store there is MSI G274QPF QD on sale for 410$ but I'm not really into 27 inch screens because I'm afraid that my GPU won't be able to handle new games even at 60hz. Anyways I will appreciate any help and recommendations that can help me choosing or finding the right one.

Hi guys - hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction as to what I am most likely to require in order to fix my monitor. I was playing games last night, when the monitor suddenly stopped outputting an image and just showed a full black screen. The backlight was still active (and still works), but it will not output an image. It won't even display the start-up logo for the monitor itself when turned on, or the options menu built into the monitor. I've tried power cycling it, but have had zero luck. Having looked at parts on eBay and identifying the available spares as the main board, power board and controls board, I'm assuming I need to replace the main board as the power to the monitor seems to work without issue, and the controls board is just buttons. If anyone has any advice as to how I might diagnose which part I need, or if there are other parts I should investigate too, it would be greatly appreciated - I don't want to order £150 worth of non-returnable spare parts when £30 would do! Thanks in advance

I finish my build and tried plugging it in. When I tried starting it then it stayed on for about 10 minutes, everything running then just suddenly shit off without actually booting. Now when I try to turn it on it does this, just flicks on, then off. All the fans are still running but nother else is. I've tried turning the PSU off, unplugging the cable, but nothing changes this. Please help

(my first build) I turn on my pc for gaming then game then it automatically shuts down after about an hour(I purposely set it that way so that I don't play overtime), Then Sometimes I want to play more so I turn it back on but it doesn't turn on, it loops through cpu and Dram(Lights on my mother board keeps switching to cpu then Dram normally it's supposed to go CPU-Dram-VGA-Boot). I tested it out if i just shut down regularly to see if the force timer shut down was the problem but when I turn on my pc and turn it off right away it turns on fine after, when I launch a game and play for a bit then shut it off it doesn't turn on again. I always have to wait at least 5 or 10 min. Hi guys I have recently got my hands on a 3080, however I seem to be having problems with my fps, I was playing overwatch and noticed my fps was dipping as low as 90 during gameplay while only playing at 1080p (I will be upgrading to 1440p don't judge me XD). My specs: rtx 3080 FE GPU ryzen 3700x CPU evga Supernova 750w PSU 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 3600MHz RAM B450 Aorus Pro Motherboard I know that the CPU is not the best but I am sure that it should not impact the fps to this degree. I have noticed on games like warzone for example I am only getting around 110fps (all settings maxed). In GPU-Z I am getting PerfCap reason as Pwr although I am not entirely sure what that means. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want the hassle of sending the GPU back. Thanks in advance

I had a problem with a game updating so I called microsoft support for it because it was on the xbox app. They told me to go to settings and check for system updates. One was a normal windows update and another was an ASUSTek drivers update or something like that. I did it and after a little bit it told me to update and restart. So I did and it took me to a screen thats said BIOS. Idk what that means whatsoever but it was really confusing. I clicked F1 (for startup) after this processing thing happened. Then clicked F-10 and it took me to another page, and then save and reset or something. Cant remember the exact direction but its along the lines of that. My screens went black and my pc stayed on and the xbox tech guy said let it be all my problems are solved and hung up. But its been 12 hours and my pc is still on, and my monitors are still black. Help!!

I am not sure where to begin, but I will say this: I have a relatively new PC (about year and a half old or so,) and it is having a litany of issues as of recent. It is a 2700 cpu, 2070gpu, B450-fMOBO, and a 650W gold rated 80+ PSU, 32bg RAM. I do not overclock anything. Here is where the issue is interesting --- I can still play games... well, some of them. I can load into Apex, Splitgate, Siege, Ready or Not, etc no problem. However, certain games just make my PC entirely black screen, and the only way to fix it is to fully restart my computer. I have tried logging into event viewer only to be told that (paraphrasing) 'the PC shutdown for an unknown/unexpected reason' and that 'it rebooted without being cleanly shutdown first'. For example, I played about three hours on the PC port of God of War, absolutely no issues. Then I went to reload a game I have been actively playing for a few hours, and suddenly it crashes on start up every time. Sometimes it crashes ten seconds into loading the game, other times I load into the level and start moving, other times it drops at the menu. GoW isn't the only game this happens with either. For some reason this has happened in the past with Apex Legends, but it doesn't seem to frequent that game as I play it every day with no issues 99% of the time. However, I cannot load into GoW now at all. I have tried updating my drivers, I have tried verifying the install of the game(s) Other games I have seen the issue with: World War Z, Apex Legends (although this one seems to have resolved itself?), and now God of War. So my issue is: PC black screens --- the lights stay on, my keyboard is lit up, but the monitor will say that there is no connection. I can verify it isn't the cable because I have checked that as well. Additionally, the way the error is occurring would rule that out since it only happens when launching games/loading into some of them. Most importantly its that no commands work so its as if the PC is turned off (although it is clearly running --- fans spinning, RGB lit etc). So if I try to ctrl + alt + del nothing happens, same with windows + p and many other commands. It just goes black, and says that there is no media connection. This makes me think the issue would be a GPU problem, but then why can I run all of these other games no issue? Also, why would I be having issues with my GPU on a mostly new GPU that isn't OC'd or had any crazy wear and tear? This is strange because just as a test I just loaded into: Halo (new one), Splitgate, Apex, Ender Lillies, Super Meat Boy, and Siege. All of these games loaded no issue. However, the moment I go to boot GoW or WWZ it crashes without fail. I am at my wits end because I cannot buy games on a gamble that they will work anymore.... particularly since it seems to happen almost randomly in the sense that I played multiple hours of GoW before being met with the issue. Lastly, I have been checking the CPU usage/ Power usage and it is entirely normal. Nothing spiking like crazy, and the heat is well within the high thirties low 40s region.... Please, if anyone has any level of advice I do not know what to do. I have checked a myriad of 'solutions' and haven't found one that fixes the issue, or is something that I have already done....
