Hey guys. Back when I bought my GoPro 3+ Black Edition in 2014 I'd keep a day's worth of footage in my microSD card. When I got home I'd plug the GoPro in, open the directory where the footage was located (something like Gopro>DCIM>GOPRO100) and I could just play back the videos and photos. For me it was much easier because I could erase whatever videos I didn't want on the spot and just copy the rest to my HDD. With some firmware update this turned out to be no longer possible and whenever I double click to play a video a Windows transfer window pops up (like I'm copy-pasting it from a folder to another) and only then it plays back the file. I can't even see any thumbnails besides VLC's icon. Do you know of some way I can play the videos directly from GoPro's directory without having to downgrade the firmware? Thanks!

While playing games my screen turns black and loos the connection from my computer. My computer runs but the DVI connection gets lost. And then I have to shut it down. Recently I have updated Geforce Experience to Version 385.69. It did not happen before. If somebody could talk to me with discord that would be great. Thx

My question is that gtx 1060 6gb or rx 580 8gb is better for playing triple A video games and streaming them?

Hello Everyone, Below issue has been posted on other forum, but I did not receive any idea that could halp resolve my issue. I would be very grateful for any help. I am using PUBG as an example but those problems can also happen on Rocket League for exampl. I have a problem regarding game performance. I did try to google it to find any answer or a hint or whatever to just shed some light on below described problems and worries. I have failed so my last resort is to bother community. I really hope that someone can help me and who knows, maybe there are other people that experience the same problem/s. My PC build is pretty strong right now, it has some weak points but I will describe everything later in my post. CPU: i7-8700K GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR 4 2x4GB 3000/CL15 (CMK8GX4M2B3000C15) MOBO: MSI Z370M Mortar SSD: GoodRam IRDM Pro 240GB (SSDPR-IRIDPRO-240) HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 3.5\'\', 1TB, SATA/600, 7200RPM, 64MB cache (WD10EZEX) Sound: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD Cooler: SilentiumPC Fortis 3 HE1425 v2 (SPC130) Display: Asus PG248Q PSU: be quiet! Pure Power BQT 530W (BN181) Case: BitFenix Phenom Fans: 2 x be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM High-Speed 120mm (BL070) and 1 x be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM Hi-Speed 140mm (BL071) Sys: Windows 8.1 Keyboard: Corsair K70 silent (i know it is unrelevant but who knows...) Mouse: Logitech G502 I play PUBG on: Fullscreen, screen scale: 120, AA ultra, Textures high, post-processing medium (now very low due to separating sharpen from PP). Rest of the options are on very low. I would like to add here that drivers are up-to-date. I have even wipped out my system drive to start fresh. Also, all my main games are on SSD, like PUBG or Rocket League. I am experiancing some kind of mirco stutter/freeze during playing PUBG. it is not always or all the time but it is there and it is really grinding my gears... I have marked spikes on enclosed print screens: I would like to mention here that these Frametime spikes are not low. These are shooting right through the roof, like 120ms or more and I can see them and feel them. It is like micro warp. Above screens have been taken from my recordings. They are in 60 fps and are less visible during watching but still visible when you watch it frame by frame. During game play it literally annoys me. The same happens during Rocket League but less... and are harder to spot as I can have full match without any and sometimes a couple of them during one. Today I have listened to music and heard micro sound freezy just once. One question about i7-8700k is it normal that PUBG usge of CPU is on 60%? I have checked on youtube so test clips and I noticed that most of them have around 30% usage of this CPU? I pretty understand that for most of you I am freaking crazy to jump out with problems like this, but you have to look from my point of view. I have invested into my RIG a lot of money and for me this is something that should not happen at all. Also when I had i5 6600k with GTX 970 I did not recall problems like this. I am not sure about PUBG, but that time I was heavy into RL, and judging by my personality, problems like above would not be unnoticed. I tried to find a solution on my own. I even bought G.Skill Trident Z DDR4, 2x8GB, 3600MHz, CL15 (F4-3600C15D-16GTZ) to see if it could be a low RAM capacity, but no, still the same issue. I would be very grateful for any help or any graphs from someone with similar specs. Thank you Peter P.S. As you can see english is not my native sorry for any mistakes and forgive me if my topic is in a wrong place.

Hello, Today I was playing Overwatch, when out of nowhere, my computer froze, and weirdly coloured bars appeared. I troubleshooted by playing other games, but the problem persisted. My temps are pretty low, the gpu sits at around 75, and cpu around 70, at load. I replaced thermal paste on my cpu recently and didn't have any problems. Specs: i5-4570 MSI r9 280x 16gb ddr3 ram

I need a good laptop! First about my history: My first laptop was an "Sony" And, I don't know alot about it what happend. It still works but the "Keyboard" doesn't work so good anymore, or it doesn't work at 0% and I have to use a programm to type in stuff. My second laptop was an " Acer Aspire 6935" That one that my mom had. I played on a table with that one, and messed up some stuff.... Later it started to crash but before it crashed the screen got yellow red, well I don't know why this happend. And I don't want this again. If I played games let's say I played Portal 2. Later I heard some weard noises and it lagged alot idk what happend. And I don't want this again. Later it shut down for some reason, and the reason I found out this year was because of this on the video: (It's in german) Everytime I open it, the Plug-in thing rotates this destroyed the cable to power up stuff and this made a loose connection and I don't want something like this again. I don't want that problem or something releated again. My third laptop was another "Acer" and it was a small one which was really slow, somehow I installed Cinema 4D and Minecraft on it. My mother had it. And if I open it I see that its really slow and browser loading takes like minutes, I don't want a slow laptop. And keyboard isn't working anymore I have to press really, really strong to make it work but some of it gave me the wrong output, if I pressed "i" as example I don't remember if it was "i", "n" came out or something like. When I got the small one I guess I was playing on the sofa too. My fourth laptop (thats that one I am writing with now) is this one: http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MHGAA.002 But that one on the website has now different stuff that I have on mine: Intel(R) Celeron(R) rocessor 2955 (1,4 GHz, 2MB L3 cache), Intel(R) HD Graphics, it didn't had any Nvidia graphic card and I was focused on the color and bought it with my mom later. When I play agar.io now it isn't smooth. And diep.io work but it could be better and slither.io is not the best with this one I have right now and splix.io well.... I play on the sofa with this one to watch TV, I stand up alot and my legs touches the laptop when I stand up. I am carfully with the cable but one time my mother put the original cable really weard to clean something and later I noticed that I had to move my cable around so it gets powered and I don't know why this happend. Later I rotated the cable to much that it didn't worked anymore and I cried.... then I used the cable from the third one (thanks to a motivation to someone to use that one too) I could play again and be happy. Later my mouse got problems well.... idk why but is it because I don't know how to be carful on a sofa? Whatever I sit on the sofa cause there is a TV and I feel lonely without a TV and you never know if there is something important on the TV. I lost alot of GB for some reason and I also installed alot of stuff. At my second laptop the GB thing turned to red. At this one I try to don't reach this. I maybe need more GB cause I am an allrounder, means I do Photoshop, FL Studio 12, Games on Steam, Coding, Writing stuff, playing minecraft, playing agar.io, find out stuff, and more Well later when I went away for 5 days to go to a campage with my class, when I come back I noticed that some keys doesn't work and I think when I sit on the sofa and hold my laptop in a different position the keys will work and some not but atm they aren't alot of keys that don't work atm they work right now. I want something where this doesn't happends. And I want something where I have alot of brightness (light) but not too bright, that one I have on the fourth has good brightness maybe my mothers one too. And I want good volume and hear good and before this happend with the keys, there happend something to my mic attached on the laptop. When I talked it sounded robotic and I had to hit it to fix that issue. So I want a good mic attached on my laptop that doesn't make alot of echo noises (like when I talk on teamspeak 3). I want a better one that I have right now so I want something better than this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now my mother also has a laptop from "HP" it's an envy and she has: 8 GB RAM | Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50 GHz 2.50 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 840M | x64-based processor (I translated this). She had another "HP" as I know too. She told me that she heard some weard noises and it crashed sometimes with a "Sad smile :(" which happend to my fourth one too sometimes. Well, and the graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 840M I don't know alot about CPU, GPU, what is 840M and everything else, maybe you explain me that better so I can choose easier. It would be nice if you would be able to help me to find one. I live in Swiss the currency here is CHF. To fix the cable of the fourth one I bought a cable from the internet for 50 CHF but later I still had the cable from the third one and the other cable, well. It's alone.... So CHF is "Franken" Well, my mother told me that she pays in steps means, if there is 1000 CHF we don't pay it directly we pay it like monthly 250 CHF and next month 250 CHF until its 1000 CHF. If it's possible my mother told me that she can only buy those from here: http://www.interdiscount.ch/ Maybe there is something releated like Interdiscount. I need a good laptop I need a better one that my mother. Or nothing else. I don't want a more bad laptop than my mother I want a higher or the same but I don't know what is good. A friend from Steam that also got helped here at 2014 gave me this site. And I am taking my time now. I want a durable laptop, means I don't want one that has problems like the fourth one and definitely not the problems from the first one. I want a laptop where I can allround (means, do photoshop, play games, try some better graphics, write txt, coding, java, connect really fast to gmod server or any other servers, join really fast a comp match in csgo so I don't want that it takes years to load a game to play on a map at csgo because at the fourth I had to play a map at offline mode to cind of load it (SO I WANT TO JOIN REALLY FAST CSGO MATCHES), have alot of fps at csgo or other games, play robocraft, play minecraft, photshop, play agario, and ect. If its possible maybe windows 8.1 otherwise windows 10 Good Mic and good keyboard that works when I don't touch it for 1 week or when I stand up. Good FPS Play agar.io See good (so screen light) My mother has 17.3* screen so I want also one so its bigger and I have more space if its possible. I guess 2000 CHF is already to much but I guess I hope you find something good. well.... and I want a thing like "HP" or something like "Asus" so how ever you call those "HP, Asus" I want a nice one. I heard "Acer" has got alot of problems but I am not sure. My friend told me you know whats good. I need also to know how to be carfully with a laptop like when I stand up from the sofa I need to be carfully and I need to know how. I hope this was enough information, if you want more information PM me and I give you more information. Thank you!

Hello my friends, I wanna ask u guys some help. I have now a XBOX One Slim and I wanna have a new TV for it. I have already a FHD Philips but I wanna move to a bigger one (mine is 32" to a 43"). I have researched here in Portugal and found two TV´s but Im afraid to decide which one since Im don´t understand much about TV´s. I wanna one that can handle the XBOX One Slim HDR for Gaming. Both says they have HDR but Im wondering if its true. It has to have 10 Bit HDR. Models I saw are: - Hisense 43M3300 Price 390 Euro - LG 43UH650V = Price 460 Euro I can´t spend more then 490 Euro so I have limited choises! Both are almost the same, (LG has more HZ) and said to had HDR Pro (don´t know what it is). On the website of Hisense says it has 10 Bit HDR but not sure if it true and the LG doesn´t say if its 8 Bit or 10 Bit! I know, LG is LG but in ur opinions or maybe urself have one, what is Better choise? Its mainly gaming or USB Movies (1080p). BTW both are going to do UpScale (not sure) to 4K, most ppl says I gona have a better image quality even if its not a native 4K Video, still will be better then on a 1080p TV. True? If I choise a UHD will I lose "image" quality because its a non-1080p image/video?! Thanks for the help!

So I just did a fresh install of windows on my laptop in preparation for using it as my daily for the summer (trying to get a fresh platform without all the quirks of my old install). Upon doing this, I soon encountered a strange problem where the icons on the desktop would all move to the left after playing a fullscreen game at a non native res. This happens on all my games, as pretty much no mobile gpu can run games at the native res of 1800x3200. I have a feeling it happens during the time when the display moves from the igpu to the dedicated gpu, but this never happened before. I would like to find a way to stop this from happening (other than running in fullscreen windowed because not all my games support that), that dosent involve using an app to rearrange my desktop after playing a game...

Hello! I was just wondering is my ping and download speed good for online games, mostly League of Legends. I live in Finland and LoL's Europe servers are located at Amsterdam, Netherlands. So i ran speedtest.net few times, ten to be exact, five times to Finnish server and five times to Amsterdam which is closest to League Servers. Down below is some speedtest result, hopefully those will help. Some speedtest results: FINLAND: AMSTERDAM: I'm using my Samsung Trend Plus phone's USB Tethering Internet for Windows XP (going to get Windows 7, when i get new computer) which to be honest isn't the most reliable solution, but due our modem is already on use and our apartment doesn't support more than one modem and speed and ping are mostly the same this will do the job atleast for me. I'm just afraid will this get me good gaming expirience without lagging and like 2000ms ping? I think 150ms ping playable and maybe even higher but under 100ms would be good. So those who got similar internet speeds and pings, would this connection allow me to play online games without lags and too high latency? Thanks already for help! -N4vySc4n-

Hey guys, so windows 10 is coming (when do you think is it going to release?) and I still have this one question; My friends are playing Xbox (One) and I'm on my PC willing to upgrade to Windows 10, so somebody once said windows 10 user will be able to play with Xbox players? Is this true? And if yes, do you think GTA V and other games will be supported? But is this even possible? Does it mean that you can share your "Gamerscore" and earn Gamerscore on PC now, or is this really multiplayer so I can really play with my buddys one game in one lobby and stand next to each other or drive in one car in GTA for example? Thanks, Marc

Just want to know if people are still playing Black Ops 2? I haven't played the game at all and would like to get it but I'm curious to know if multiplayer is still active or full of hackers? If anyone can let me know that would be great! Thank you.

Hello. So... I was playing Skyrim with mods, after like 30 min in game everything stopped and some green vertical lines appeared (as in attachment) on the whole screen. I couldn't do anything, not even ctrl-alt-del , so i restarted my pc from the button. What do you think it is? I think this is my graphics card , but i don't know. (If this is not the right thread for asking this, I beg your pardon)

So my mates and I thought it would be fun to give it a go but we have no clue what we are doing. Obviously we will play online first. I know we need to decide on the setting and all those things but is there an easy way to start and which rule set is best for beginners? This is the next level of nerd people

I have two monitors and I like to play games on one and watch Youtube or Nexflix on the other. When I do both youtube starts to have a terrible frame drop but nothing happens to the game. I recently upgraded to windows 8 and wiped my whole machine. Before I didn't have this problem so I am pretty sure it isn't my internet connection. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Since I got the old gpu (AMD Radeon 6950) and the new power supply (700 watt) from my brother I have been having these problems. Diablo 3 had some fps drops while engaging a big wave of enemies and sometimes my computer had some problems that programs weren't responding. I actually wanted to upgrade my computer for a while and was hoping to fix some of my problems I have been getting (Maybe the gpu was having some problems, because of age?). So I got the: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 (MSI), a new motherboard : ASRock B75 Pro3-M (CPUSocket), a new RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz and a new Hard Drive: 932GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 (SATA). I kept my CPU: Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz and my power supply. Since I have been using this build, my computer kept these problems and it has become even worse after 1-2 months. My league of legends started having really bad problems with having major fps drops to the 0-30 fps, sometimes it froze for a couple of seconds. I have been checking my temp for so far, because it's getting pretty warm in my room, but it never has been to a dangerous lvl and it got checked by some of my friends that have some knowledge about it, the highest my CPU got was about 60 degrees. I have tried to reinstall the client, but nothing helped. I started playing World of warcraft aswell since a week ago and it was impossible for me to play. Fps keeps dropping from the 95 to 0-20. I noticed though when someone lvled up or someone joined somehow that's the point where it freezes. And like I said before my google chrome is acting weird since the beginning of it all, I let a tab on my google chrome sit for an hour and when I go back to it everything starts to freeze. One of the things what is really odd though, some days I don't have problems at all. Everything will run smoothly. I reupdated my drivers from my cpu, gpu, motherboard, etc. I have run benchmarks what seems to be completely fine and it ran smoothly. Since I got my new upgrades I did get Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. And I have been running tests that burden my computer. Is it possible my CPU is dying? (I already got it for around 3-4 years) Or is it possible my power supply is having problems? Thank you for reading:) Edit: Apperently restarting my pc helps, after playing 2-3 hours it starts lagging again.
