Decentraland a blockchain world will have an event at 3/12 3/13 2am UTC where it looks like someone will be showing off a kiosk to order pizza IRL. This is definitely cool being able to use cryptocurrency to buy pizza in a digital world and have it delivered IRL. https://events.decentraland.org/en/?event=9ad1f34a-4565-498d-bac5-835e9c6b6047 Didn't think it belonged in the news section but thought it was cool

Summary On 3/12 2021 a user successfully placed a order for domino's pizza through a in-game kiosk built buy another user named Lastraum. All while never leaving the blockchain based world called decentraland. Quotes My thoughts I think is freaking amazing that decentraland users are pushing this technology so far so fast. As a user and a mana coin holder in just the past few weeks I've seen this place explode in popularity. It's definitely going to be the beginning of ready player one style world and we are only just seeing the early stages. I was restocking my fridge with CocaCola for the second time today when after emptying the 24 can box I realized how this cardboard box could be a computer build. Yes.. I know it's been done, but there's more. After pondering the idea for some bit I came upon the conclusion that it would also compliment the pizza warmer prototype and that it should be cooled by pinwheels and human breath. So yes I do want to see this build somewhere, forget about the 7000+ dislikes from the pizza warming video, this is a solid meme.

Hey guys, I stumbled onto this article on Popular Mechanics, and I thought that you guys may agree that this indeed demonstrates a sorry state of affairs for DOT. I mean seriously if Domino's needs to pay for pothole to be fixed that means you have some issues. Here is another article on the subject from ABC.

My cheap android phone that i bought for 100 bucks which somehow served me for 4 years has just died out today (RIP in pepperonies ).... so im looking for a new phone and it seems that i can't decide between these two (626 and p8 lite) . For me these are my priorities for a good phone : screen (i dont want a shit blurry screen that easily gets scratched )>repsonsiveness(just enough to switch from tab to tab with least noticable lag)>battery life ..... which one of these 2 is more worth the cash ? Im living in europe by the way so this is the European P8 lite

To be honest it doesn't need to be a gaming chair just one that is really comfortable and reliable. I'm currently using this monstrosity http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S19885043/ which isn't bad for the price but when studying for hours at a time on this it is really not comfortable. So, does anybody know a really good brand which makes chairs, a good chair in particular or a website/store to buy one from? Thanks.

Greetings! 1 of the fans that came with my arc midi r2 is ticking at all RPMs. I'm going to replace all of them, and my hyper 212. Planning on Noctua U14s, and 5 NF-A14s. All set up in this config. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9kyMkL Any thoughts on improving this? I'm not really a silence freak, I kinda like a low hum. But I cannot deal with ticking. So idk if the noctuas are right for me. Since I've been on this forum for enough years to know who will answer this question... @WoodenMarker.

I have 8 slices of Costco pizza left over from yesterday and whenever I reheat the stuff (microwave or toaster) the cheese becomes pretty tasteless leaving the crust and pepperoni as the remaining good parts. Anyone have a good way to reheat it?

OK, so... i have officially gone insane trying to configure a system for my first ever gaming pc. Been at it for 3 months, been up all night, but i think i have it down now. I live in Melbourne by the way and will be getting pretty much all my parts from pc case gear. I was wondering if anyone in Melbourne would be willing to come round mine and pretty much build it whilst i watch since im a feckless idiot who will most likely break stuff. I live 12km northeast of city center and pizza and a six pack goes without saying. Anybody, please? Edit: So delirious from lack of sleep, actually hallucinating bugs or shadows of them at least crawling all over the joint.....

Hi there, Let me start out by saying I'm completely dumbfounded, frustrated, and totally lost at this point. I'd also like to note I've tried/looked at all the steps here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-ste... Now then, onto the problem. My computer was randomly crashing during gaming, I didn't think much of it but recently I decided to get a bigger case (thought maybe lack of airflow contributed). So I get my new 750D and I'm all excited and happy putting it together and managing the crap out of all my cables. Get everything all neat and organized and try to boot....no dice. Before I move on, here's what "everything" is: -i5 4690K (Water cooled with Kraken X41) -EVGA GTX 980 FTW (Water cooled with Kraken X41) -EVGA GTX 980 FTW (Water cooled with Kraken X41) -Corsair AX860 850W Platinum PSU -32GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600MHz Memory -512GB Samsung m.2 PCI-e SSD -Asus Z-97A Motherboard -Corsair Obsidian 750D -3 140mm Radiators Other junk: -Each GPU Rad is cooled with two 140mm static pressure fans in push/pull -CPU Rad is cooled with one 140mm static pressure fan in push -Each GPU block contains a small 70mm fan to cool the card -Five additional case fans (12 fans total) Now that that's out of the way...more details! Everything was working fine in my previous case (h440), outside of the random occasional crash. Once I moved everything over, as I mentioned before, once powered on I would get no video output (and only half of my fans spin up..but that's a different issue). Frustrated, but I noticed the CPU POST LED was on, indicating an inability to boot properly. No idea why though, I remember setting everything up properly. Still, I start troubleshooting. Away with all of my cable management I was so proud of, away with all the happiness and sunshine. What I have at this point is a motherboard on a box with nothing plugged into it. I reset the CMOS and I begin. First I add the cpu and a heatsink. Powers on, fan spins up, pesky CPU LED turns off. Awesome! Should be able to get to the bios by plugging in directly to the MoBo, yeah? Nope. Ok, fine. I'll add my ssd. Nope. Ram? Nope? Ok, ok. Fine, I'll add my GPU and plug into that. Nope, but oh hey, the CPU post light is back on...that's certainly not good. Still no video output. That's pretty much the extent of it. No matter what I do, I cannot get a splash screen or anything. HDMI/Displayport/Different displays/Different combinations of plugging things in and out of my motherboard..nada. I have no clue what to do at this point. I don't even know what's broken. Realistically, I should be able to get to a BIOS screen with very few parts plugged in, no? Especially if I try plugging directly into the motherboard and bypassing a GPU. Anybody have any thoughts?

According to WFLA, the woman had been arguing with her boyfriend when he threatened her life with a large knife. Her phone was then taken, but not before she was given permission to order a pizza. Hostages and kidnappers gotta eat. Thinking of a way to escape, the woman cleverly added a little message to her order, but it wasn’t a call for extra toppings or napkins. “911hostage help!” and “Please help. Get 911 to me,” the message read. That’s when the local Pizza Hut, who said the woman was a regular, called police. When officers responded, they found the woman and her children in the house unharmed, and eventually took her boyfriend into custody—all because of her quick thinking. No word on what happened to the pizza, but one would hope the woman was treated to a complimentary pie following the frightening ordeal. When is the time to upgrade? I would think after ca 3 years. I will only play on a single 1080p monitor for a while and I currently have fx 6300 and 280x. I play All kinds of games .. ALL KINDS! But currently I am playing League of legends and far cry 3, after that. Perhaps hitman absolution. Or focus more on Payday 2 Edit: I have had my computer for ca 2-4 month so I will not be able to upgrade any time soon.

NASA has already invested $125 thousand in a 3D printer that would be used by astronauts in zero gravity to make pizza & is expecting a prototype in 6 months apparently. But Ajan Contractor, the brilliant mechanical engineer with a background in 3D printing behind this, envisions a much more mundane and ultimately more important use for the technology. He sees a day when every kitchen has a 3D printer, and the earth’s 12 billion people feed themselves customized, nutritionally-appropriate meals synthesized one layer at a time, from cartridges of powder and oils they buy at the corner grocery store. Contractor’s vision would mean the end of food waste, because the powder his system will use is shelf-stable for up to 30 years, so that each cartridge, whether it contains sugars, complex carbohydrates, protein or some other basic building block, would be fully exhausted before being returned to the store. Contractor says : Ubiquitous food synthesizers would also create new ways of producing the basic calories on which we all rely. Since a powder is a powder, the inputs could be anything that contain the right organic molecules. We already know that eating meat is environmentally unsustainable, so why not get all our protein from insects? If eating something spat out by the same kind of 3D printers that are currently being used to make everything from jet engine parts to fine art doesn’t sound too appetizing, that’s only because you can currently afford the good stuff, says Contractor. That might not be the case once the world’s population reaches its peak size, probably sometime near the end of this century. Chocolate printing trial :

Anjan Contractor, a engineer, received $125,000.00 grant to make a 3d food printer. This would be useful to keeping food for a long period of time up to 30 years and compact. Source: http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/21/4350948/nasa-funding-3d-food-printer-pizza

My current drives are starting to age and I am constantly having to delete stuff to make more room. I was thinking about getting some new Western Digital drives but I am not sure which one to choose. I won't be using these for gaming so I don't think I need the Black version. My main use would be using it to hold a bunch of anime, recorded videos and pictures(lots of pictures that I access daily). I was thinking about getting a Green but I don't want it to have to spin up and down everytime I save a single picture or torrent a new anime episode. I heard Blues were basically Blacks but slightly slower, the only problem is that it only comes in 1TB or less. I was considering the Red version but those seem to be best suited for Servers and NAS users but they are meant to be used a lot. Anyone have any input?

How do I do a full cleanup of drivers that I won't use again? My PC recognizes like 4 mice and 2 keyboards even though I never plugged in more than 1 kboard and 1 mouse. Also, I plugged in some speakers for one time use so how do I remove these drivers. They're clogging up my hard drive for no reason.
