Hi guys, I'm seeking help here as a last resort after trying to troubleshoot for the past 4 hours as to why I could not set up my fiancee's PC anew with the new Samsung NVME SSD 980 that I have bought. I will try to detail as much as possible. At first, she had an old PC that she has been using for years. For simplicity sake I will list only the important parts. If I missed any crucial components, please let me know. Old PC specs: Asrock AB350M Pro4 Ryzen 3 1500X Kingston SATA SSD 128GB Western Digital SATA HDD 1TB Cooler Master 500W PSU Zotac GTX 1050Ti\ Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Her HDD seems to have traces of windows OS, indicating she could have backed up the SSD to the HDD. Now, with the new PC I have built for her, she wants to keep the HDD, which I have formatted by right-clicking the drive and clicking "Format". I took the full format route to NTFS, which lasted about an hour or so. New PC specs: Asrock B450M Steel Legion Pink Edition (BIOS v3.60P) Ryzen 5 2600X Samsung NVME SSD 980(MV-V8V1T0B/AM) Western Digital SATA HDD 1TB(formatted and taken from old PC) Super Flower Leadex Gold 80+ 850W Galax GTX 1060 No Windows OS Supposedly, the result I was expecting was that the new PC will boot as new. Building my little brother's PC was a breeze as we set up the whole windows on his NVME SSD. However, as I boot her new PC up, the BIOS was not able to detect the NVME SSD. I have searched multiple solutions and have tried the following: 1. Resetting BIOS by removing CMOS battery 2. Making sure SATA_3 was not in used(One of the solutions suggested that the M2 slot will be disabled if SATA_3 was used) 3. Reinstalling the NVME SSD 4. Disabling CSM on Boot tab 5. Checking for latest BIOS firmware(not able to update, any further updates might affect CPU compatibility) 6. Booting with HDD(Not able to, it says "Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed. Error code: 0xc000000e. You'll need to use recovery tools...) Now at my wit's end, any help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I have purchased a Corsair K65 rgb for christmas, i have been using the keyboard for about 4 months without any issues. Recently, the LED's on the keyboard don't show the colour green and the white on the LED's is displayed as pink. I have tried to reinstall the corsair program for it and set up the colours of the keyboard again but nothing worked. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Hi, so ill make this quick. I have a 24' Dell Monitor, where it has an issue. Basically, on the right side of it (maybe like a quarter of it) theres like a faded color that is pink-ish when its on white/lighter parts of the screen. The monitor worked fine, and never had this issue on Day 1. It maybe started about a year ago, where it was pink. But about 3 months ago, it just stopped and it was 100% clear and good. Then about a week ago it happened again, but then when i just clicked the menu button on it, after a few seconds, it was completely gone, just like that. Now its back again. I just don't understand. It's not the PC because i have dual monitors and the other one, even when set in primary, is completely fine. I don't have any magnets near-by. And like i said, this has happened before, but fixed itself somehow after awhile. And also, when im in a certain page for a decent amount of time, when i exit that page, you can see some of the page STILL THERE on some of the right side. Right now, im doing an 'LCD Conditioning" test thing where its going through different colors slowly. It doesn't really seem to be doing anything been running for about 30 minutes so far. If anyone could give me any tips, i would appreciate it! Thank you

So my gf's computer is due for a new case as the current one is breaking. We discussed it over and what she wants is a windowed white tower (So far within budget we've found a couple options, NZXT phantom 240, inwin 503, Deepcool tesseract, but if you have suggestions to add to that, that'd be cool. We're looking in the under $100AU range). But here's the real problem: she wants RGB lighting, but with the intention of having it set to pink for a lot of the time, but if she tires of it she can always swap the colours around. Before I go into more detail, I'd like to state : I have never done anything RGB before, My immediate thought was the Corsair RGB fans, HD120 or SP120. But when I researched, pink didn't appear to be in their colour list. So I googled around for more RGB fans, and all I could find was like RGB "rings" on fans, as opposed to the blades being lit. In addition to that I'd want to know the deal with RGB controllers with Fans and LED's. So if we went with a corsair HD120 kit, it gives us a controller and a hub and some extensions which seem like you can just hook that onto a LED strip. is that only compatable with a corsair LED strip or could I put that onto a Deepcool one? (as I can get corsair for $35 and Deepcool for $19). Her current MoBo I don't think has RGB headers (Gigabyte H170 HD3). The ideal situation would be we can get the whole setup for under $200AU, I think the only compromise I can come up with is getting the NZXT phantom which I believe comes with white fans, chuck in a pair of deepcool LED strips (which do appear to have a pink option). but I'd really not have to settle and actually find some RGB fans that would do the trick. Preferably the whole rig being able to use the same controller or UI. TL;DR: Do you guys know of any RGB fans that can do pink? Any RGB fans aside from Corsair? Or can you get corsair fans to go pink? Thanks! Sorry for going overboard with the explanation, it's my first time looking into RGB and I just don't want to make any purchasing mistakes.

Hello ! My dad bought an awesome Asus VX238 2-3 years ago and after a year and a half, a pink tint appeared on the right of the screen, so he just put in aside and didn't bother with it. But recently I tried it out and it worked like a charm... for a few days then the tint came back, and it's not the HMDI cable. I'm thinking : It's either the power cord or the screen just overheats. Here's a pic that I found online : http://imgur.com/G9rlKjz that's exactly my issue. Thanks in advance !

Now hear me out. I'm prospectively building a PC for a friend at some point in the future. She's happy with any case colour but her dream would be pink. I've had a browse on the internet. My options are limited for the following reasons when specfically looking at pink cases: 1. I live in the UK and not much is available here or I have to pay additional shipping. 2. There doesn't actually seem to be much out there? I've found the following so far but nothing that can justify the cost, and ideally just want a cheap-er case that I can whack some fans in with half-decent ventilation so she can do light gaming on it regularly: Apevia X-QPACK3-PK Apevia X-Dreamer 4 Aerocool Dead Silence None of these are ideal either because of the combined price of shipping and the case itself, or the size / overkill of the case. I'm looking for something cheap and effective, but pink. Halp? Thanks in advance! mATX or ITX preferred.

I'm trying to decide what colour to paint my GPU (G1 Gaming 980). I've already Plasti Dipped it once, but I'm not happy with how it turned out. So far, I'm thinking orange and white (LMG Colours), blue and white (my system's colours), or pink (Linus Edition). What do you guys think? It's not just the colours I'm doing LMG style. I'm going to try to get everyone at LMG to sign/decorate it as well as my case side panel and RAM. Thanks for any thoughts!

Hello again my fellow techtippers (oh wow that sounded better in my head), Does anyone know of any good pink computer cases? Preferably they should have good airflow and a window. I'm doing a build for someone and they want pink for some reason. Thanks!

So first of all sorry my bad English, it's my second language.. So my girl friend is so frustrated for her ancient PC, that she asked me to get her new one. But then i started to think that, she don't need the newest stuff. Because she just use Facebook etc. So i have some spare part's that are reasonable new. Then i found some case that is very good condition. So i started to think that, i would borrow my friend garage and paint it fully pink. Even in side also, so it looks great when you but led's there. So next thing is to get a those Led cooler on the case. So i was thinking that what is the perfect color along with the pink case? And any other tip's would be also very nice. And take a mind that, this build is going totally for a chick. So it has to be clean build also. And sorry if this is wrong area, mod's can re arrange it to correct area.

Today I updated my AMD driver from 13.9 to 14.4 However I launched chrome and now the menu bars and bookmark bar are slightly pink - when regularly they should be the default grey gradient And then went on to find out that the same color (grey/gradient) is slightly pink all over windows as well. The whites and other colours show up just fine. but only the grey gradient is now pink. No idea why this has happened but im assuming its because of the driver update My monitor settings have remained constant. no changes My windows colors and themes are stock with no changes Even in the AMD control center it shows all the color settings as default with no changes UPDATE: it seems that the attached screenshot looks fine on all other monitors and devices...but the pink hue only exists on my pc...my monitors setting are still what they were before the AMD update UPDATE 2: the attached screenshot has all the pink areas highlighted. these areas are usually grey or grey gradient by default in Win7... Hey guys, i am sure some of you might have heard about the Audio Boost logo on their gaming series motherboards. They are supposed to light up red but instead they light up in a very ugly pink: It was annoying me very much. I had the LEDs turned off via the BIOS but i want to mod it red, so i can have it turned on, i am sure it would look bauss. I actually had to buy a set of very small screwdrivers in order to open it. Time to open 'er up and see what's inside You can kinda see the LEDs inside, they're white. Here, let me switch them on for you to see: So the pink color actually comes from the cover plate. It's just a stupid plate with layers of color, one of them being pink. It also has a stupid plastic foil on it, i took it off, it's not intended to protect anything imo. Sadly you can't peel off the pink as easy. Here's a glam shot with light shining through it. Now i need your help to make this sucker red! As you can see in the top picture, the light isn't evenly distributed either. If possible i would want to mod that too. The biggest problem is in my opinion to get the pink plastic red. I have red spray paint which i used for some metal parts but i don't necessarily want to use that. The coloring should be a very thin layer, so that it can't crumble and damage anything beneath it. It has to be a very strong red imo, so that i won't get any bright and dark spots. Light distribution is key. I don't really have any CAD machines or good crafting skills at hand (but a hand of simple tools), so i am not sure in how far i could make a red replica of this. So keep it simple but give me all the ideas, you have. I would go out and buy some dye if that would help, for example. Thank's for reading, peace! Solved

My Build Planning Log! Hello, Forum! My name is Adam; I am a new member. To introduce myself to the forum I am posting the planning log for my first build for my senior-year of high school and all of college. I hope that my build is worthy enough to make me a member of The Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. To preface this build, I have been using a 2010 15" Apple MacBook Pro since freshman year at boarding school. I want an upgrade. My intentions are to use this build to... 1. Stay tuned. UPDATE #2 After having given the subject some serious thought and analysis throughout my day, I have decided to select the arctic-white Corsair C70. I will be retaining the pink theme to this build, but will be changing the secondary color to white. It works for me, since my favorite colors are pink, white, and black. I will modify the plastic parts of the case to be pink by either painting or dying them. Now I just need to find out how to best do this... UPDATE #4 Okay, guys! Big update! I've made up my mind! I'm sticking with the black and pink BitFenix Prodigy. I've posted the new list of hardware in the "Ordered Hardware" spoiler. I've committed with my final choice! Thank you so much, guys! I can't thank you guys enough for the help you've been. I have loved all the advice and suggestions. I will be creating a build log in the build logs section when all the parts arrive. In the meantime, I'll still be looking for pink LED strips, a monitor, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and two SSDs. What do you think of "Pinku"? I am open to constructive criticism and suggestions. BUDGET: $3000 #PINKMASTERRACE #PINKISTHEMANLIESTCOLOR

I have been looking for a mx cherry black switch keyboard that is tenkeyless. The Ducky Shine 2 caught my eye and I'm planning to buy it. So here is the question. The purple backlit ducky shine 2 caught my eye, and I really wanted it, because I thought that the backlight would go well with my setup I currently have my razer naga mouse's lighting set to a very dark purple and I like the look of it and wanted the keyboard to match(superficial first world problems). However, after doing more research I've noticed many people saying that it is actually a pink/ pinkish purple, instead of a more cool blueish purple. I've seen it listed on retailers as both pink and purple so now I'm really confused. Can someone tell me what the backlight is like on the purple/pink shine 2? I don't want to order the board and then find out that it has a pink backlight. If the backlight turns out to be pink, I'm probably going to order a board with black switches and yellow backlight (thoughts on yellow backlit keyboard with setup?) Here is my current setup:
