I've been looking at possibly using different fans on the AIO I'll be using to help with performance and silence. The NB-ELoop fans from BlackNoise have caught my eye. I know that Phobya and Alphacooling had both made their own versions(though none of which are pwm ). Has anyone had any personal experience with these fans, and if so, which model?

Hey LTT Forums!! im planning on getting my build this august. I've set my eyes on t his budget liquid cooling kit by phobya called Phobya Pure Performance 360LT which has a 360mm radiator that's 60mm thick, thing I'm worried about is if it's gonna fit and not have any problems with the motherboard I'm replacing the stock ugly looking phobya fans with NZXT's AER RGB fans please tell me if they will fit into my case which is a Phanteks Enthoo Pro. If any of you guys have the same case with 60mm or more thick radiators pls help me out! Thanks!!

Hi guys, Before I start I’d like to say I’ve been following LTT on youtube (along with TechQuicky and Channel SuperFun for a couple years now and I love how informative and how great the content is. My doner case for this project is a CiT Vantage (Blue Edition) Original Case: Stripped Down: This is the case I used for my old PC, whose guts will be going back into the case after this is all done to be turned into a media PC. The Hardware in nothing to rant and rave about; i5 2400, generic m-ATX motherboard, 1TB HDD, 450W PSU, 8GB 1333MHz RAM This project is mainly for fun and “because I can” but also to give me a little, more specialised, experience using the tools before I started my university degree in September. Initially all I wanted to do was to make a window in the side panel and make fan holes in the top for a dual radiator. Rough shape of the window: Rough position of the new fans: The red rings indicate the rivets which need drilling: (Sorry about the picture quiality so far, at this point my new camera hadn't arrived, so I was using my phone camera) Starting masking off for the new window: Tracing around the old shroud for the shape of the new window: The First Cut: Half Way There: One To Go: BREAK THROUGH!!! After Filing the edges and scuffing the side panel to start painting: Paint Plan: White First: Drilling out the rivets: Back panel off: Two to go before the mobo tray is free: Aaaannnnddddd they’re out: Test Fitting: Time to start riveting: Test fitting with the plain side panel: After the paint had dried on the side panel there was a bit of overspray where I hadn’t applied the tape securely enough (oops!) Now its time to do the window: Top Fan Holes: Adapting the fans: Rivited on the grill and installed the Fans: As said above, I’ve got plans to sleeve all the ugly coloured wires. I’ve also got a plan to make a PSU shroud to, again, make things look cleaner and pull things together. However, this is how the case is going to stay for now, I’ve got an absolutely hectic time ahead of me. But I’ll be back, this isn’t the end of this project of mine. Please guys, any constructive critisism, tip and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks for tuning in

Hi, I think I have two questions, I may have more haha: 1. There are two cables coming out of the back of the pump, one is a molex and one is a 4 pin with two wires going into it. What do I do with those? I'm assuming the 4 pin goes into my CPU fan header on my motherboard? Idk  2. Which is the inlet and outlet? There is no manual or markings and I've only seen one image on google which illustrates it, I'm not sure if its authentic. 3. Can all pumps be controlled with the mobo? Even without PWM? Oh yeah, pumps can run on their side can't they? Thanks for all your help, I'm a water-cooling noob if you didn't already know Chris

So i have figured to use both the bottom ports of my res for my loop but unsure if its meant to look this way Here is the image

hey there guys just sorting out my wc loop and noticed that there is a second port at the bottom, one of the ports i'm currently using from res to pump the other bottom port i want to use for gpu to res to complete the loop, would anyone know if this config will work as i was previously using the bottom side ports from gpu to res but the tubing kinked and i'm trying to get the best possible flow from this loop. thanks for any help guys

I want to get some lighting for my case. I was thinking of picking up Phobya LED-Flexlight RGB Controller With IR-Remote and Phobya LED-Flexlight LowDensity 60cm RGB. Or is their something better to get (Want UV / RGB and a remote)? First time I'm installing lights in my case is 60cm a good length to light up my Corsair 780t case? or Should I get two 30 cm strips?

Without talking price, color scheme, which is best?

Well let me start by saying I start watching LTT on youtube about 6 months ago and i love it! after seeing the review for the s340 i knew i had to have it. thats when this build started, i ordered the case and started gathering some parts for the custom loop. i still need to get my ek supremacy water block, and 280mm rad as well as 2 more cougar fans... I and reusing my motherboard, and memory for now, still need to purchase my 2500k, might possibly go with a 2600k not sure yet... here is my parts list. So I've been using the Phobya UC-2 Waterblock in my system for about a month or so now. I love the ascetics of the block for the price. However, with the price comes (what I believe) is horrible performance. At first I thought it was just the fact that I didn't tighten down the block enough. I also thought that my possible IC Diamond application was poor. So today I decided I would take the block off, clean it and the CPU extensively, and try another go at it. I got identical results after reapplying the block. Just sitting on the desktop right now (at stock 3770k speeds) I'm getting 36C. But when I overclocked the CPU to just 4.0 GHz I was sitting at 45C on the desktop. Not to mention that when I'm in games the CPU jumps to 60-65C immediately. Does anyone else have a similar result while using this CPU block at all? I have no idea what else could be causing the CPU to get so hot.

I'm planning on doing a gold themed water cooled build, and I was wondering where to find things/which things I should use. I know I'm going to use the Corsair 900D (it's sitting next to me) but I haven't ordered anything else. Specs so far: Case: Corsair 900D (it's sitting next to me) CPU: 4770k GPU: GTX 780 MSI Lightning (if they would hurry up and release it) Motherboard: Asus Z87 Deluxe PSU: Corsair AX860i 1. I know phobya makes a gold plated rez, and bitspower makes gold compressions; anyone know where to find them? 2. Planning on putting a 480 rad in the roof of the 900D and one in the basement. Any suggestions for performance rads? 3. Recommendations on a gold plated CPU water block for LGA 1150? 4. Thoughts on 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing and fittings? I kinda have my heart set on it 5. What tubing/coolant colors would go with gold theme? (clear tubing with colored coolant preferred) 6. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=34694 ^this appears to be a gold pump mod kit for MCP655. Will it decrease the performance/lifespan of the pump? 7. is the Phobya RGB led controller and lights any good? And where do I find it? All suggestions are appreciated!

Hi all. I'm going to watercool 4670k and GTX 780 in R4. How should I build it? Parts that I have: 1x Phobya CPU-Cooler UC-2 LT Intel 775,1155,1156,1366,2011 - Black Edition 1x Phobya G-Changer 240 V.2 1x Phobya DC12-220 12Volt pump 1x Phobya DC12-400 12Volt pump 1x Phobya Balancer 150 black nickel 1x NexXxos XT45 240 4x AP121-GL Green EK-Ekoolant EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII Acetal + Nickel Full Cover GPUBlock I'm thinking that if I should do like two loops with same reservoir or just do it singleloop with those pumps in paraller or serial.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and was hoping you guys could answer some questions regarding my first time water-cooling setup. I am hoping to get rid of my Corsair H60 closed-loop water cooler and outdated rig so that I can build a new custom loop (CPU + GPU) rig, however having no experience with water-cooling this can be a bit tricky. I haven't even got any of the parts yet (apart from the case) however I will list them below. PC Specs Case: Corsair 600T SE White CPU: Intel i5 4670K Motherboard: Asus Z87 Sabertooth GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 780 RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance LP Arctic White 8GB PSU: Corsair TX650 Watercooling Parts CPU Waterblock: EK-Supremacy - Acetal GPU Waterblock: EK-FC Titan SC GTX - Acetal Pump/Reservoir: EK-BAY DCP 2.2 Combo Unit Radiators: Phobya Xtreme 200 / XSPC EX240 Coolant: Clear EK Coolant Tubing: Masterkleer 13/10mm (3/8"ID) I was hoping you guys could shed light on a few questions I need answering: Will the 240 radiator be able to fit in the 600T? Is the pump/res combo powerful enough? (trying to save space) What would be the best way to drain this system? Should I change the tubing size? Another issue I had was fittings, again, I will list below what I think is correct. 6 x Phobya 13/10mm G1/4 compression fitting (Reservoir/240mm Rad/GPU) 2 x Phobya 13/10mm G1/4 compression fitting 90° (CPU Waterblock) 2 x Phobya 13/10mm G1/4 compression fittings 45° (200mm Rad) Here is a picture of what I hope the loop will look like: Thanks a lot!

Hey guys I was browsing the web recently and then I found the Phobya Nano-G 12 fans. I think they look really cool, so i want to use them in my next pc build. So my question is: Are these fans good for intake/exhaust and for mounting on a radiator? v0gty
