Planing on getting a new GPU. Was really debating between the 4080 and 7900xtx. The 7900xtx looked like a no brainer, cheaper, more ram for the future, faster(except for RT) and the new amd frame gen looked promising. Then I started looking at the market (I am from the Philippines), then I noticed how wild the prices are. The cheapest 7900xtx is $1,155.00 which is constantly going in and out of stock. The readily available ones go for $1,234.00. While the 4080 cheapest one is $1,287.00 and the avg price is around $1,322.00. I really wanted to try the 7900xtx but I don't feel like paying close to 25% more it's msrp. Feels like I am getting ripped off. Well I am getting ripped off either way lol. Now I'm leaning towards the 4080 because hey at least I'll only be paying 10% more than the msrp and with a gap that small i guess the little extra for RT(cyberpunk) would be ok? Also I'd like to do some live streaming here and then and the nvenc is nice, does amd have something similar to nvenc for live streaming? It just don't taste right paying way waaaay above msrp. Hell I am even considering the the 4090 now with these crazy prices. What would you guys do? Get the slightly better product but way out of the msrp. Get the 4080 because it's closer to msrp. Or fuck it, save up some more and just get the 4090? Will the 4080s 16g ram be enough in the future? Will my EVGA 850w p2 be able to handle the 4090 and will the connectors be enough or compatible? Also if your from the Philippines and know of a good deal pls let me know. Using avg prices and launch msrp 7900xtx is 23% above msrp 4080 10% above msrp 4090 15% above msrp (They run for around $1,834.00 here) Edit my bad I used the msrp for the XT instead of the XTX

Budget (including currency): P29500(585$) vs P20000(396$) Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: valorant, dota, mmorpg(black desert), autocad, solidworks, fusion Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello guys this is my first time posting, and i want your insights about all in one pc. Specifically these two. Both 2nd hand i'm leaning towards more to the 1060 gpu because it is cheaper and has bigger ram than the one with 1650's. But the cheaper one has been used for 2-3 years on an internet cafe while the other one was only used 8 months ago. also the cheaper one has higher psu with 600w while only 450 for the one with 1650. I still don't have the money and time to build my own but i will on the future, this purchase will be only for the meantime while im studying and gaming als. Thanks in advance!

So I need to replace the fan on my GPU since it started making weird noises (I assume the bearing wore out?) and out of nowhere stopped spinning for a few seconds while testing it in MSI Kombustor. My GPU fan is 75mm in diameter with 50x50x50mm mounting hole distance. For some reason, I can't find any fan with a 50x50x50mm mounting hole distance, while the closest I've found were fans with 40x40x40mm or 43x43x43mm. Now, is it ok if I buy those fans and then drill my own holes onto the plastic where the mounting screws go? In my opinion, it sounds perfectly fine but I just want to hear other people's opinions since this is the first time I've had to replace a GPU fan and this is my first GPU which I bought used. I live in the Philippines so other sites aren't viable for me, but for those who wants to help find a fan with those dimensions (and compatible with this 12V, 0.5A) I would much appreciate it. :))

I live in the Philippines, specifically in Quezon City. My keyboard is a RK71 with red switches. Sadly my "a" does not function from time to time and it really sucks. This keyboard is sadly not hot swappable, that means my only choice is to solder the switch. Unfortunately, I don't wanna take the risk of me buying the needed equipment and just break my keyboard. May I ask for advice where places could solder my keyboard and replace the switch? Thanks!

Budget (including currency): My budget is PHP 30,000 including the accessories. I just want my son to be able to play most games at a constant smooth 60FPS on med-ultra settings. He already has his own 60hz IPS monitor with us not planning on buying a monitor anytime soon. Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Take the Witcher 3 as the benchmarking standard. He mostly plays Albion online, CS:GO, DOTA 2. Other details I don't plan on overclocking, upgrading, future proofing or any other stuff. I just want my son to be able to have fun and enjoy video games since he fulfilled his promise of becoming an honor student. He has been wanting to play titles like Witcher 3, Assassins creed and etc. Furthermore, his favorite twitch streamer is sodapoppin. CPU: Ryzen 3 3100 bundled with an A320 MOBO which is PHP 2000 cheaper than the one bundled with the B450 Mobo (Like I said I don't plan on upgrading his computer for quite a while so I am thinking the A320 would be alright and I also don't care about overclocking.) The main reason I posted here is so that I would know if I can just settle with an A320 mobo over a B450 mobo given that I don't want to overclock or upgrade anytime soon or if there is something that I don't know that would make his gaming experience better if I went with the B450. He has been playing on a 5 year old computer that belonged to me that uses an i3 4330 and a GTX 650 Ti with 1x8gb ram. My biggest concern is whether or not the A320 is good enough instead of the B450 since both of us don't know how to overclock and I don't plan on upgrading his computer any time soon. I would also want to know if the parts are compatible since I am not an expert on assembling parts.

i cant believe the iphone ios 15.5 can still be hacked. some toxic philippine hackers is persistent enough to violate privacy and destroy human rights. i will say that i am being hacked by group of philippine hackers, they have bought some crazy hacking device and hacking software from outside the nation and would use it to anyone. an example of me that they compromise my android phones and even iphones. when they compromise our device they remote and take a naked or senstive photos and videos, they publish it to the social media publicly, and would be delete by then or hidden into group. compromise iphone is easily installed malware and spyware and remotely to close my apps even built in iphone apps, doing ghost touches, they can record the backgroud of the screen. ive been uploading it to all this toxic behaviour https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuDLlXkv443PUmI-Kc_jqFA its been 9 months thay they still do and laugh about, even having illness of depression and insomnia is a laugh of them and would mock it. they are no more human rights.

Not sure if this is the right forum.. Anyone here from the Philippines? Im looking for the corsair 100r se. I've looked everywhere and I've only found a dynaquest store online with one. I would go after it but its way out of pricing. If there are none, then can anyone suggest an alternative? Similar in specs and design. I've already looked at the 88r, not sure about the top part and the quietness of it

This will give you the rough estimate of how much Coffee Lake will cost you in your region. Pricing from PCHub Philippines: Direct Conversion, Tax included: i7 8700 - PHP 17,620 = USD 343.30 i7 8700k - PHP 20,950 = USD 408.18 i5 8600k - PHP 14,620 = USD 286.813 i5 8400 - PHP 10,280 = USD 202.802 i3 8350k - PHP 9,950 = USD 194.527 i3 8100 - PHP 6,600 = USD 130.204 Note: This store sometimes priced their products higher if they are the only one who are selling it, for example here the price of Ryzen 1950x is USD 1169.021. Source: https://awesome-table.com/-KrkkVbKZR_HZ2x8lsHk/view For me, right now, the pricing is not that good especially here, I am confident this pricing will decrease once other stores start to sell Coffee Lake too. The prices right now are not that competitive against the Ryzen offerings especially here where people always look for budget oriented builds, for example a Ryzen 1700 is just PHP 16,000 or USD 311.74. I do hope that the price will be the same as their predecessors but it may not happen. My opinion may change once the benchmarks are released. Even though the Coffee Lake CPUs here are expensive, i7-8700k is the best for gaming(I am still waiting for more streaming benchmarks vs 1700 or 8600k vs 1600). I will add more of my opinion once more streaming benchmarks are released, but based on GamersNexus' streaming benchmark(Dota 2 benchmark part), the 1700 is better.

Hi Everyone, I'm planning a build that's mid-range that's mostly for gaming but will most likely be an all around rig (I do some video/photo/audio editing, coding work, etc). Originally, I wanted a compact build (Mini ITX) that would be easy to bring around but considering that I'm living in the Philippines, I don't think I can go with that option since during the summer it gets really hot and I'm worried my thermals will get too high so instead I'm at least going with a Micro ATX build. My budget would be around $700 max (without GPU) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 ($170) Motherboard: MSI B450M Bazooka Plus ($93) GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4GB (Reused from old rig) Memory: G. Skill Trident Z RGB Dual16GB 3000Mhz ($130) PSU: Seasonic Focus+ 550FX ($88) HDD: WD Blue 1TB SSHD (Reused from old rig) M.2 NVME: Adata XPG SX6000 Pro 256GB ($52) CPU Cooler: ID Cooling Frostflow X 240 AIO ($55) Chassis: Tecware M3 ($33) I'll be reusing the GPU and HDD from my old rig for now but I'll probably upgrade the GPU somewhere along the way (or when the new Navi GPUs come out) Any thoughts if this build is ok? Or if there are parts I need to change out? Thanks!

I'm planning on a build where I'll be using the Ryzen 7 3700X and a B450 Motherboard. While searching, I found two boards that are within budget but I'm not sure which one is a better buy for me which are the MSI B450M Mortar and the Asrock B450 Steel Legend. I hear that the Mortar has better VRMs so better temps but the Steel Legend looks aesthetically better and has better audio. They're pretty much the same price here in the Philippines and I don't plan on doing much overclocking, probably going to use Precision Boost though. Here are the prices in the Philippines: MSI B450M Mortar - $105 Asrock B450 Steel Legend - $103 Thanks!

After careful planning, I'd like to share my build plan. I'm currently living in the Philippines and want to build something that will last a long time, maybe just upgrading the GPU & CPU after 5 years. My budget is around PHP 70,000 and would like to play games at 1440P with decent frame rates. There are quite a few power interruptions here, hence a good PSU is needed and am also looking for a decent UPS for this build. Also, should I use an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) with my PC and is a 500W AVR okay with this build? Comments are most welcome. Computer stuck at trying to identify network and can't access the router ip address to change some setting. I recently changed from the normal dsl line to the fiber line yesterday. They had to change my old router to a new one. Oh and my house has two routers the main one connects to another router upstairs in my room because the wifi signal from the main router they gave me can't reach my room so I used an old router to have wifi in my room and I also plug my pc via cabled internet to that 2nd router. I've had this setup before I changed to the fiber line and everything was fine. So anyways when they changed the main router everything went OK I had wifi in both routers and my pc had internet except for my phone that couldn't connect to the old wifi router upstairs because it keeps getting stuck on the "obtaining ip address" thing but for the rest of the devices that were already connected to it had no problem. And my pcs internet worked fine as well. So I tried to factory reset the router upstairs via the button that you use a pin with to see if that would help. Router did factory reset but when I went to change the router settings the ip address that I used to change the router settings wasn't working anymore. The 192.168.1.1 ip was not opening. But what did open was the ip address for the router downstairs which had a different ip 192.168.254. 254. I could make changes to the router settings for the router downstairs even though my pc isn't directly connected to it. Could be something that's always been but meh idk I'm not savy with tech at all lol. So anyways frustrated that I couldn't access the options or settings on the router upstairs on my pc I went down stairs and swapped the cable for the router upstairs from lan 4 to lan 1 because why not? Lol then went back upstairs to Google more ideas on how to get the damn ip for the old router upstairs to work. To my surprise I lost my internet connection. So I turned everything off pc, router upstairs and main router and swapped the cable for the router upstairs back into the lan 4 where it previously worked. Turned everything back on and checked my Pc and still did not get any internet. It just says trying to identify something2. Right now I'm typing all this on my phone which is connected to the main router via wifi because i forgot the default password for the router upstairs and the ip used to access the settings no longer works and oh did I mention that my pc also stopped receiving internet? Anyways could anyone possibly help me out here. Direct me to pages that would solve this or is there some settings I need to change on the new router? Lol that was a mouth full.
