Hello, I was hoping to hopefully resolve this problem I've been having for so long, I've tried everything I could possibly think of to resolve my FPS lag and stutters in games such as Valorant. It stutters even more when I start bunny hopping. These are my specs: • MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8G Graphics Card • Ryzen 5 2600 CPU • Corsair Vengeance Pro 64GB RAM • Corsair CX550 Powersupply • Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard • Corsair iCUE 465x Case Things I've tried: • Reinstalling Windows 10 • Performance Plan set to Ultimate Performance • All Windows 10 telemetry and background processes turned off, removed all bloatware, etc... • Setting the process priority in Task Manager to High • Updating Nvidea Graphics Driver • Updating AMD CPU Chipset • Tried using Process Lasso to set game priority to the highest, also tried using specific cores and edited the affinity to no luck • Disabled Hardware Acceleration in all applications • Tried using the lowest graphics settings possible in Valorant • Set all of my Nvidea control panel settings for the best performance over quality • I have tried enabling and disabling game mode and setting it for the highest performance in graphic settings • Disabled all Visual Effects in Windows 10 Performance Options • Added a 32GB paging file size to both my hard drive and SSD • Set Process Scheduling for the best performance of programs • Set the msconfig boot settings to use all of my cores and set timeout to 3 • Edited some registry keys to optimise my system, keys edited: NetworkThrottlingIndex, SystemResponsiveness, GPU Priority, Priority, Scheduling Category • Used CPUCoreParking to utilize my entire CPU when using programs • Checked for errors within my drives, optimised and defragged them • I also ran a User Test Bench: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/57428314 • Tried disabling fullscreen optimisations for Valorant, tried running it as administrator, and changing the High DPI scaling override • Used SFC /scannow in terminal as admin to see if there were any issues with Windows and I got the results:

I play overwatch and recently have had a massive issue with performance and was wondering if someone can help me out. i am attempting to give as much info as i can on the situation so that people can give answers soon without having to ask for more info How it started: i use a cyberpower pc and when attempting update the bios (i didnt actually see the option for updating bios so i didnt update it) i saw something called "game mode" which adds 400 mhz to your overall performance, i thought that since it was built into the pc and that i occasionally drop from 144 to 100 it would be something i should turn on. After i booted back up i saw a major drop in just about everything including just browsing around the desktop so i went back to the bios and turned it off, this slightly fixed the issue however i noticed when playing overwatch instead of hitting 144 fps almost all the time i was running on 80 - 90 with drops to 50. So i wanted to see if by doing this i somehow hurt my cpu and i installed 2 amd programs aswell as msi afterburner to look into my usage, i was at around 50% cpu usage and all the applications had fluctuating gpu usage. (0 - 100%) also i was able to play at 80 fps so i played for a day and then i restarted again and was stuck at around 20 fps. What i have tried: - overclocking - closing all programs that arent the software i want to run - removing several programs that might have a hinderance on my frame rate - uninstalling and reinstalling amd gaming software - defragmenting hard drive - doing windows memory check - cleaning out temp files - checking my temps what i havent tried: -dmos reset -windows 10 clean install My specs: amd radeon rx 80 amd ryzen 5 1400 quad core gskill ripjaws 2400 8 gb ddr4 ram B350M BAZOOKA (MS-7A38)

Hi Just got a brand new asus vivobook 15 X512DA with Ryzen 5 3500U. The laptop came installed with Intel 660p 512GB NVME M.2 SSD. I noticed that the SSD had varying performance on battery and while plugged in. Using Crystaldiskmark 7- On battery i got 800/770(R/W) and while plugged in i got 1830/950(R/W). I tried changing power setting to performance- No difference. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening?. how to make the drive run with the same performance on battery power?

Hello there, I have now for about half a year experienced a phenomenon which I am completly lost to understand. What happens: I fire up my computer and everything is fine for the first 2-3 hours. Then, my GPU (2080 ti Black) has sudden performance drops. Drops happen under slight to heavy load - only browser usage is fine. I attached a screenshot in the attachmentts where you can see what I mean. all my 3 Displays (2 x 1080p, 1x1440p) freeze for about 1-3 seconds, and everything is back to normal. Therse performance drops happen about every 30 seconds to 2 minutes. What is my setup: CPU:Intel Core 8700k Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming M5 RAM: 2 x 16 GB GSkill neo 3600 CL 18 GPU: 2080 TI Black PSU: BeQuiet Straight 11 1000W Harddrive: 512 GB SSD (98% remaining "health") GPU - Cooling: Standard air cooling - Lian Li O11 dynamic with 9 case fans (6 in, 3 out) What I have tried so far: - I already reinstalled windows and all programms - tried a different harddrive as bootdrive - lowered gpu power usage and temperature - scaled down graphics ingame for less load (but as I said the amount of load does not matter) - opend up case while gaming for more air flow - checked if all fans work correctly - cranked up gpu fan speed to max - upgraded from old 2400mhz ram to 3600mhz - upgraded PSU from 650W to 1000W - different cables for power delivery - used different PCIE slot on the motherboard - resetted all bios values (no OC whatsoever) - updated BIOS - (ofc checked drivers and tried different versions) - (ofc cleaned all the case fans, gpu fans from dust) Additional Information: - screenshot was taken during Borderlands 3 gameplay - the second smaller drop was when I tabbed out - the performance drop is highlighted yellow - a restard of my system "fixes" the problem for about 10-20 mins - then the same problem occurs The last thing I can think of is: motherboard or gpu is broken. If you got any experience here or any kind of suggestion what I could try to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate that. Thank you for your time and have a great day, PhotonMan

I got a dell 7567 just about 2 weeks ago. Everything was running smooth until about 3 days ago. Even when plugged in my frames dip and games stutter about every 10 seconds. I play mostly GTA V, Fortnite and For honor. I also get a HUGE amount of pop in when playing GTA 5, the VRAM usage is still the same 2GB as it was when I first installed and played GTA I've kept the same graphics settings since I got the laptop but now I'm noticing worse frames even when plugged in. This is super annoying, any ways to fix? I've tried trouble shooting and I have latest graphics drivers as well as the latest windows updates and BIOS installed. PLEASE HELP!! Specs: i5 7300HQ 8GM RAM GTX 1050 4GB 1TB HDD

Hey guys, I'm a bit new here so first of all here are my specs:MOBO: Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3LCPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 (no overclock)Graphics Card: Powercolor ATi Radeon HD 3870 (overclocked from 777 MHz to 837 MHz in core clock and 900 MHz to 1000 MHz in memory clock)RAM: 2x2GB Kingston DDR2 KVR800PSU: hec Rapter 500WPSo after you have seen my specs, you would probably think "damn, that's a very old build." Well, I already know that performance in any component decays overtime. I was aware it was already happening to my build, but supposedly at a slow rate. I'm not a hardcore gamer, I mostly play 3 to 5 year old games that I like, not very fond of the new ones.In order to always know at what rate my build was losing performance at, I installed passmark performance test, one of the best benchmarking software I know now. When I first started this build, some components were different, I had a Gigabyte G31 mobo, I had a Core 2 Duo E7500 which was then replaced by an E8500 and then the Q6700. To be completely honest, I used to crazily overclock the E7500. It runs at 2.93GHz, using the stock cooler, I sometimes had it run as high as 3.29GHz without changing the cooler and it had good temps without overheating. When the E8500 came, it wasn't really overclockable since it released too much heat at stock clock. Of course, this was all FSB overclocking so I, without knowing, was putting a load on my motherboard, cuz a bit less than 2 weeks from getting the Q6700, it stopped booting with it, after a slight overclock(from 2.66GHz to 2.75GHz). I didn't leave it overclocked as while testing it it had very high temps(I use coretemp for monitoring cpu temperatures). That left me totally clueless on what to do. In the end, I had to consult a professional(2 actually). They said I had burned out my motherboard's chip, and that was why it wasn't booting. I ended up changing the motherboard to what I have now. So before I changed the motherboard and put in the E8500, I did a passmak test with the E7500 clocked at 3.29GHz. On this test, my graphics card was at least 60 points higher than the average baseline for it on passmark. Here's a link to that specific benchmark: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V8/display.php?id=10...I knew my CPU was holding me back, so I changed it to an E8500 first and then to a Q6700. I didn't really get to test my system much on the Q6700 right after I got it, cuz I needed some thermal paste for it first, but when I did, the performance had dropped significantly despite my cpu upgrade. It used to run games like COD World at war on highest settings @30-40 fps, PES 2013 on highest setting @60 fps, PES 2016 on highest @30-50 fps, Need for Speed Pro street on highest @30-60 fps, Need for Speed Shift on high @ 20-40 fps, Shift 2 Unleashed on med-high @20-30 fps. All that changed suddenly as it literally stopped running all those games properly, I had to run all of them on low so that they would be playable, by playable I mean anything over 20 fps and some didn't evenreach that. I had to run a passmark test again so that I would make 100% sure that my gpu was the problem. I ran one on the old motherboard before it broke down, a link to it here: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V8/display.php?id=10...I also ran a more recent test after I changed the motherboard: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V9/display.php?id=11...I really need some help/guidance on this (It would take a while to save and get another one). Oh and one more thing, I was looking into some graphics cards on aliexpress (sth like a GTX 550Ti or a GTX 650 or even a GTX 750 between 30 to 50 US$) Would that be a good bet? To buy from Chinese resellers? I find the price highly appealing (compared to amazon or ebay which sell cards like an eVGA GTX 550 Ti for 100 US$, excluding the shippin of course) since I live in Egypt. Tell me your thoughts on whether my graphics card is just dying of old age and my rough usage or if sth happened in the middle of all these changes I did or if there's a fix to all this.

So I recently got a 960 and I've been playing a lot of games but it hasn't performed as well as I thought. So here's my rig: CPU: AMD A8 5500 Quad-core 3.2 GHz Ram: typical 12GB DDR3 (Pretty sure it's just 1600mhz) GPU: Zotac GTX 960 2GB Non-AMP! HDD: WD Blue 500GB PSU EVGA 500 W1 MoBo:90PA0550-M0XBN0 Asus M11BB (I scrapped it from some other pre-built pc with the CPU) I can't really tell if it's the CPU, GPU, or Motherboard that's making my computer perform pretty badly. In-game it can't handle Fallout 4 at high settings without dropping to 30fps sometimes and other games like MGS: TPP it dips to 40 fps which I think the GPU could easily handle. At first I thought it was the GPU since it's not OC and its clock isn't all that high but i don't think it should be dropping this badly. The A8 5500 seems like a decent CPU to handle these things but in games like Insurgency and H1Z1 at Medium-high it still drops to the 40s. I don't really know much about how the 960 should perform but I suspected it would be ok to handle things at 1080p high settings. I'm pretty sure it's the A8 processor, but what do you guys think? Could it just be that this isn't really that good of a setup for 1080p High settings?

Hi mates i'm having some unexpected performance drop so it starts like this i have always do 3 way OC test . after OCing i do a 30 mints stress test on Aida64 or XTU. Then 2 hours of gaming Then render a 7 hours 1080p project if both passed then i put system on 12 hours stress test on Aida 64 or XTU Problem: On 4.5ghz (1.1270v) the same project is giving me render time 1 hours and 30 mints On 4.7ghz (1.2100v) the same project is giving me render time 2 hours and 15 mints My Rig: Ram OC 2133(1.60v) timings (10-11-10-30/RC2) Corsair Cooling :H100i stock fans Plz advice

Hello. I have a few problems with my new parts for my pc. Specs: Win 7 64 Bit, Msi M-Power MB, Intel 4770K(@4.0), Kingston Hyper-x Red 8 gb x2 Kit. Prob nr: 1 Earlier this year i bought myself a Msi 780 Lightning as a upgrade from my 7970. After running a couple of games over a period of a few hours i will experience frame spikes and performance loss. When i look at MSI Afterburner when i play the graphs of Gpu usage jumps up and down like crazy. The only solution i have currently is to restart the computer and then it's fixed for up to 3 hours (Witch is kind of lame). (Picture at the bottom of graphs. Not my picture, found soimething simmular of google.) Prob nr: 2 Recently(Easter) i allso bought myself a Steel series siberia elite headsett. Here i have a bit simular problem as the 780. After a few hours of Skyping/Ts3 the mic/sound card starts making wierd souns. One of my friends described it as a bit crushing sound. This problem has the same fix as the 780.. Just restart the computer and it's fine for a few hours. Or i can unplug the USB sound card and put it in another slot. Allso the Mic is fine when i use the Mini jack adapter. But it's really low and if boosted it turns out a bit of static sounds. Cheers for all answers. (Not my picture, But simmular graph results)
