I bought the Logitech x 530 like twelve years ago and they are still working fine. But the room where my computer is located is not that big so I want some 2.0 speakers. I'm not audiophile and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but, would the Creative Pebbles 2.0 be a good replacement for my current setup? 90% of the time I just watch youtube videos so 5.1 doesn't work. I do some gaming and watch Netflix and that's it.

I want to buy a pebble watch, more specifically a pebble time steel off amazon UK on my birthday(April 1st) will it still be available now that fitbit has bought them.

I just scored a cheap (20£) original pebble smartwatch. Considering the thing has been out for 4 years, someone ought to have some recommendations for some apps.

So I've been interested in having a watch/smartwatch on my arm in quite some time. And I see this original Apple Watch for 60$. Though I already have a Huawei A1 Band (fitness) And wondering if having two things on my arms (with bluetooth) would be a stupid idea, and whether or not I should even consider the Pebble in the first place. Any thoughts? Maybe someone who owns two devices, or has a Pebble Watch? -Crafting

I am looking for an upgrade from my pebble steel, and now that pebble is dead I have no idea what smartwatch to get. Any good smartwatches with an always on display and high visibility in sunlight? I don't really care if the battery life is less than 2 days, just as long as it's an upgrade from my current pebble. EDIT: comment down below of any watches you can think of that has an always on display, I don't care about anything else just as long as it has an always on display

After their last successfull kickstarter campaign it seems like Pebble will be bought by Fitbit. There is nothing officially announed yet but it seems to be quite likely. As a kickstarter backer of the time 2 I am quite worried. The backers might get a product which will be not supported in the near future. I'm fully aware of Pebble being devoured and not being an operational company anymore. But I need a new watch and I want something that does slightly more things than a analog/digital watch but I am not looking for a fancy smartwatch for several hundreds of dollars and Fitbits are geared towards the wrong things for me. I'm able to get the Pebble Steel for a reasonable price and I wonder how the functionality is a year after Pebble closed its doors? How is the 3rd party support and is there a good community surrounding it? EDIT: Maybe there's some other device with current support that is very similar to the Pebble Steel?

so i just found my old pebble v1 after my moto360v2 died. and i remembered how much i loved the original pebble but after the purchase of pebble by fitbit i dont know when they stop supporting the watch. so anyway should i take the risk of them just killing support tomorrow or should i buy the pebble 2 se?

Hi so I've found some lightly used SONY SmartWatch 3 SWR50 on ebay for about $100 to $150 CAD but I've also noticed Pebble is about to release there Pebble 2. So my question is should I buy the SONY SmartWatch 3 SWR50 or Pre-Order the Pebble 2.

Pebble Technology has launched their third kickstarter campaign for the smartwatch underdog that promises long lasting battery life compared to the rest of the industry. Pebble 2 and Pebble time 2 share similar features like: 24/7 heart rate monitor, up to 30 meters of water resistance, built-in activity and sleep tracker and a built-in microphone, where they differ is in battery life, 7 days the Pebble 2 and 10 days the Pebble Time 2, display, high contrast black and white e-ink display on the Pebble while a 53% larger colour e-ink display on the Pebble Time 2 compared to the original Pebble Time, and price, the Pebble will retail for 99$ and the Pebble Time for 169$. What is really new here is the introduction of a new device: the Pebble Core. The Pebble Core is a device that is supposed to replace your smartphone during workout activities, the company describes it as: " [...] a lightweight, cellular-connected clip that replaces your phone entirely. I've never been into the all activity tracker/smartwatch bandwagon cause i always saw them as just another device that i have to remember to plug in at night. I'm looking for some kind of bluetooth repeater, so I can leave my phone in one room of my apartment and still get all the notifications on my pebble, no matter in which room I am. Any ideas?

Alright, so this is my first review, so let me know if there's anything I should change/add. Preface: I've been using the Time Steel for a little over a month now with my iPhone 6s Plus, which means I can't take advantage of features like responding to a text via voice (yet...), so experience may differ a bit from users with an Android device. Pebble Time Steel Let's start off with the Steel, I've been getting around 7-10 days of use from it before I decide to charge it (and it's usually still around 15%)....honestly, I'm really not sure how long it lasts since it lasts so long that I lose track of it. Honestly, it's in a kind of weird position imo, it's kind of expensive considering it's limited functionality, it doesn't look amazing, and it's not sleek like the Time Round. The only thing it really has going for it is it's water resistance (up to 100 feet) and it's unmatched battery life. So, (and I'm being highly original here) it's a watch first and a smartwatch second. Don't get me wrong, there's something really nice about getting notifications/checking the weather, controlling music playback, and responding to text messages from your wrist (although I haven't personally done the last one)....but at the same time, I'd also probably equally enjoy a more classy looking watch. Unlike other smart watches it doesn't have a touch screen, but rather three buttons on the right -- top/bottom buttons are for moving through the timeline, and the middle button is for selecting/going into another menu, and one button on the left (holding it down will toggle you in and out of quiet time, and pressing it will bring you up one page/directory). I feel like this is in a way superior to a touch screen on such a small device...but I can't say for sure as I haven't used any other smart watches. Lastly there's the screen, there are several brightness (low, medium, high, and blinding) and time out options (3, 5, and 8 seconds). I think it would be nice to have a never timeout option and a never turn on option (not that I would use either of those options). One thing that gets annoying is that their is no dynamic brightness option -- you can enable the ambient sensor (which means the backlight will not turn on if it's very bright -- usually a normal room isn't bright enough to stop it from turning on), and you can enable a motion sensor (which means the backlight will turn on when you move the watch -- assuming of course it's not blocked by the enabled ambient sensor). I do have one annoying complaint about my Time Steel, because of the way the music controller is set up, it's hard to see the time if you're playing music (and leaving the music control app open). I would prefer it if the normal watch face covered the music playback app in the form of a screen saver that wouldn't interfere with playback controls, however that's not the case unfortunately, which means if either have to look closely at the face (kind of awkward if you're walking outside) or back out of the music player. Pros: ​Unmatched battery life up to 10~ days Water resistant to 100 feet Simple non-touch screen design (?) Scratch resistant screen Cons: Small screen with an annoyingly large bezel non-touch screen design (?) hard to read the time if you're in an app Surprising lack of decent watch faces A pretty lack luster screen (but that's the trade off of an e-paper display) Pebble Time Round Most of what I already said above still applies here. However, with the Round they took a slightly different approach; instead of going with a big bulky design with amazing battery life and water resistance, Pebble decided to forgo both in favor of an ultra slim (and round) design. Which I'm a big fan of, the watch looks like a normal (non smart) watch, and it has a far more elegant look to it; I really like it. Unfortunately, the bezel is still quite large, but I feel like it's also not as obtrusive (at least on the black version, on the white version it's worse imo). While it sucks that it's not water proof (to 100 feet) like the Time Steel, I doubt I'd ever have gone swimming with my Time Steel anyway, so I'd consider that point moot (to me); and the vastly inferior battery life (2~ days) is a trade off I'm willing to make for the significantly better aesthetics, especially since it only takes 15~ minutes to get a days charge (reportedly), so, when I take a shower I'll charge it and not even know the difference. Now that obviously doesn't apply to everyone since some people definitely do wear their Time Steel when they go swimming/shower, so again, it's just a moot point for me. The final differing factor between the Round and the Steel is that the buttons are much closer to your wrist (since the watch is quite a bit slimmer), and therefore more difficult to press -- especially without pulling hairs (ouch). My only real complaint with the Round (other than the pulling hairs part) is that the vibration motor feels a lot weaker (at least from my limited use), which is kind of disappointing as I've gotten used to using my Time Steel as my alarm clock). Pros: ​Still better battery life than most other smartwatches Simple non-touch screen design (?) extremely slim design almost elegant looking Cons: Still has an annoyingly large bezel (and a slightly smaller screen than the non-Round, although it doesn't really matter imo) non-touch screen design (?) hard to read the time if you're in an app Lack of decent watch faces and app support is quite limited, even compared to the non-Round. A pretty lack luster screen (but that's the trade off of an e-paper display) harder to reach buttons lackluster vibration motor Summary Ultimately, I feel like both of these devices should be more...I'd like to see more granular control over the device, I'd love to have the option to have the watch face act as a screensaver if you haven't touched any buttons in a while (and are doing something like music playback), being able to respond to texts and answer calls (and speak) directly with the watch, and just generally more and better apps. But as it stands, it's still a good device and I do enjoy having worn the Time Steel (and plan on enjoying the Time Round just as much if not more).

Hey guys, recently, I've been looking into smartwatches casually, but I can't seem to settle. I've basically narrowed it down to four, each with pros and cons, and my very hypothetical use case scenario - can anyone give advice on it? 1. Pebble Cheap. Not just the price. 2. Pebble Steel IMO the best looking smartwatch apart from maybe the Urbane. 3. Pebble Time Colour, that's really the thing that it has going for it 4. Moto 360 Android wear, thus more functionality. I didn't go for all those pebbles for no reason: I really would like the high battery life. I don't want to have to charge a *watch* every day or night, and then not even have the display on at all times. Because if I want to use something to check the time or notifications, I'll pull my phone out of my pocket. I mostly want to be able to see notifications when they come in and decide whether it's worth getting my phone out; I want to keep my phone in another room (quite bulky in the pocket) and still see messages from Whatsapp, Telegram (very important) and possibly Facebook, and I want to control music. Other things I'll probably discover once I get into the smartwatch game. Contrary to popular opinion, I prefer the more classic look of the steel over the modern 360 (also that chinbar, nope), and I don't like the look of the Time at all. The 360 and steel are about the same price, with the regular Pebble maybe being more suited for entry level, being very, very cheap. So basically, if I didn't overlook a crucial feature about the Time it's out, and if Android Wear isn't infinitely superior for my light use the better looks and battery life of the Steel will kill everything else. Hey all Pebble Steel users. Im thinking about buying a Pebble Steel but there is one thing that dosen't make me completely sure if i should get it. So heres the question, can i change the quick respond text-message for example the "Sounds good" could i change that to something in my language it would be very akward to reply to my swedish friends (Btw im swedish) Just like "Sounds good". Hi LTT Guys! Apple seems to delay Pebble's App on purpose! Source: getpebble.com Apple is now rejecting app submissions to their App Store that contain references to other platforms in the description and/or metadata. The following quote is from Steve's post on the GetPebble forums I have bolded the important parts. Basically, if you want to have an app on the App Store, you can't reference any other platforms in your apps description, metadata, or even marketing material. How are people supposed to know what platforms you support unless you tell them?
