Budget (including currency): About 600€ Country: Slovakia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming, I want to be able to play the newest titles. Other details: Not so long ago I've upgraded almost every piece of my PC except for my CPU, since then I've been trying to find what CPU to even buy (I have an Radeon RX 6800XT and Ryzen 5 3600 rn) which obviously creates a huge bottleneck. According to the bottleneck calculator it's 29%. I am playing at 1080p, 144hz, because that's what my monitors allow. I've found a reddit thread about what CPU to match with this graphic card, but when I popped them into the bottleneck calculator they all showed like 15%+ bottleneck. I don't know if I should just try different CPU's in the calculator and just buy one with lower bottlenecks or if the calculator is somehow inaccurate ?

Hello, I bought a hp z240 sff and case swapped it as well as upgrading the pcu and gpu. For the pcu I got a segotep 750w modular power supply with a 28 pin but it came with a 24 pin adapter. For the GPU I went with a 12 g 3060. My problem is when I got everything hooked up with an adapter I bought to convert the propriety motherboard power to a 24 I tried to power the PC on and got a power supply failure beep message. I've been through two different cords and I'm to the point where I don't know if it's the cord or pcu(which was new).I've also made sure all the bios and driver updates were installed before. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 cpu and i was wondering if upgrading to a ryzen 7 5700x was worth it. Could I get better gaming performance with 2 more cores, 4 more threads and a higher boost clock?

Budget (including currency): $300 USD Country: Puerto Rico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light to Medium gaming (Genshin Impact, Monster Hunter, Scarlet Nexus,...), Work form home (semi-heavy), College worke (Very heavy). Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, my motherboard is due for an upgrade. I started to give some problems. Due to it's age I want to upgrade to something more modern and future proof. I've researched many Motherboards from Aorus, ASUS, MSI, ASRock. I'm trying to find a X570 All-Rounder and got to the conclusion of the ASRock x570 since it has tons USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, Good amount of Pcie, USB tyoe-c, Wi-Fi 6, and a little bit of RGB. The problem is that the i can't seem to find the wifi version and the memory speed is limited to 2666 according to amazon. My other Option was the Aorus Pro x570, it has wifi 6 integrated and most of the features i'm looking such as USB type c, lots of connectivity freedom, a good Bios and Software, The problem is price and stock, i've seen the motherboard marketed at $259.99, so why is it priced everywhere at 300+ and i also can't seem to find anywhere except amazon. I'm willing to accept other motherboards suggestions but i do have some boxes to check before upgrading: - Wi-Fi 6, sadly not all of us has access to ethernet ports. - USB Type-c - At least 4+ USB 3.1 Gen 2 - EZ mode Bios (optional) - $300 USD or less (no more) - 2 or more N.v.Me Slots - A bit of RGB (cause i'm connected to my inner child) - 3000+ Memory Speed (or X.M.P. capable) - X570 chipset I have a 600 watt PSU, Ryzen 9 3900 (Stock Cpu Fan), MSI RX570, T-Force DDR4 Ram 8x4, 6 MSI Fans (Stock from gungnir Case), ROG Strixx B-450, 2 Kinston SSD, 1 2TB HDD, 1 500GB N.v.Me SSD.

Hey, so I have a PC I had bought from Best buy a while ago and it's this one -> https://www.bestbuy.com/site/reviews/ibuypower-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i7-8700-16gb-memory-nvidia-gtx-1060-1tb-hdd-120gb-ssd-gray-black/6180825 I added a new graphics card, extra SSD, new powersupply, CPU cooler, and RAM. The current specs of it are this: Storage Type: SSD, HDD Total Storage Capacity: 1360 gigabytes Solid State Drive Capacity: 120 gigabytes, 240GB Hard Drive Capacity: 1000 gigabytes System Memory (RAM): 32 gigabytes Ripjaws Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB OC Processor Speed (Base): 3.2 gigahertz Processor Model: Intel 8th Generation Core i7 Processor Model Number: i7-8700 Operating System: Windows 10 Home Motherboard: ASUS Prime H310-PLUS Power Supply EVGA 650W, Semi-modular CPU Cooler: DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX400 fan cooler I really enjoy playing games like Squad, Escape from Tarkov, and hopefully cyberpunk. I want these games to run a little better especially during fights and when I am in areas with a lot of population and things to render. right now in squad when I get to areas with a lot of buildings and fights it takes a dump sometimes the frames don't hold up to 60fps and drop below in places where there isn't a fight. Right now I'm playing at 1080p and 72 Hz is my max framerate on my monitor which is this -> https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/Eye-Care/VG255H/ I want to soon be able to play squad and other games at 144 fps and 4k with ultra graphics and no noticeable framerate drop during fights. I don't know what I should buy to accomplish this or if I should just start a completely new monster pc build but I don't know where to start if anyone has any recommendations.

Hi, I 'm planning to upgrade my old PC (almost 10 years) and decided to just keep the case and HDD's. The upgrade components are listed below: NEW COMPONENTS: - Core i5 7500 - Asus B250F motherboard - HyperX Fury 2400 8 GB RAM - Micron/Samsung 250GB M.2 SSD - Gigabyte 1050ti graphics card - Cooler Master MWE Bronze 550W Power Supply OLD COMPONENTS: - Chieftec mid tower case (this is pretty good even for today, screwless installation inside and rock solid chassis) - 1TB and 500GB 7200 RPM WD HDD's Some people advised against i5 7500 but coffee lake is still not available in my country and these things always arrive late in the market in India and as for Ryzen, that are a lot of reviews that suggests that it has problems memory/ram speed consistency. Any suggestions? should i make any changes to this build or go ahead with it? I'm a casual gamer and will be using this PC for some music production work.

Hello there, I am very new to PC gaming and knowledge of PC's in general. The PC I currently have is used for work generally but I would like to install a new graphics card as the current graphics card is atrocious. I am planning to install a GTX 1050 ti, but im not sure if this is compatable with the motherboard, what voltage I may need, whether it will physically fit in the PC ect. If you know that this grapics card works, on my model, give me some information about what voltage adapter I may need etc. If it does not work with my current model, then let me know of any other budget 1080p graphic cards that would be compatable with my PC. Thank you for reading, and I am would be extremely grateful for any information or advice you can give. Also let me know if you want more information about my model, I am more than willing to find it out for you. -Reuben

Hey all I am looking to upgrade my pc that has a few years on its back but has served me well. Being out of touch to the latest parts i'm finding it difficult deciding what parts mainly need upgraded and what parts that could still be kept if possible I currently have a 1080p 144hz screen so preferably wanting to upgrade to utilize that but I will probably eventually upgrade to a 1440p screen in the near future. Currently play a variety of games but mainly fps (battlefield) and rpg's My upgrade budget is preferably as low as possible but max i'm probably wanting to spend at the moment is £800 (i'm in the uk) my current build is: Case: Fractal Design Define SGPU: EVGA Gtx 970 SSC acx 2.0CPU: intel i7 6700k 4.0GHzCPU fan: Noctua NH-D15RAM: corsair vengeance 2x8gb ddr4 2400mhzPSU: EVGA Supernova P2 750WHard drive: samsung SSD 850 EVO 500gb + western digital blue 1TB 7200rpm Thanks for your help :)

Budget (To upgrade) (including currency): $200 GPU, $250 CPU $100HDD/$200 SSD Storage (at different time intervals) Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and Streaming (Streaming in the future) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Playing at 1080p 60Hz, Current Build is a Ryzen 3 3200G, an X570 Aourus Elite Wi-Fi, 16GB of HyperX Fury 3200MHz speed, and a 256GB NVMe M.2 Drive from Inland Premium. Pretty low end system. I play Fortnite and Valorant on this machine pretty decently (Fortnite ~60FPS uncapped on Med Settings; (Valorant ~144FPS uncapped on low settings), but I want to expand to War Thunder (~45FPS uncapped Med settings rn) and Apex Legends (~30FPS High Settings). Speaking of which, I want to be able to store my games (256GB is holding up, but had to delete uninteresting games, ~20GB left on storage) also. I want to upgrade my graphics first (preferably) from Vega 8 for about $200 (very little flex) for the most bang for the buck that will last for the most amount of time. I would be purchasing that ASAP(I don't take sides on team green/team red for graphics) After that I want to upgrade my CPU for game streaming from the 4C 4T 3200G after I get graphics. About $250 Budget for it (Some Flex) and will be purchasing later in the year. Finally I would want to upgrade my storage by about 2tb, and would put games I sometimes play on the external drive, and put the games I like on my boot drive. $100 for 2TB HDD or $200 for 1-2tb SSD. I could do this at anytime this year, but it would probably be done around the time of the CPU upgrade. I don't know what path I should pursue first and could use advice. If anything needs to be clarified, please put it in the comments. Summary: Stage 1: GPU or Storage (Preference, GPU) Time: Now. Stage 2: CPU (if GPU was picked), GPU (if not picked) or storage (preference, storage) Time: Fall 2020ish if CPU/GPU picked, Late Summer 2020 if storage picked. Stage 3: Storage or CPU (Preference, CPU) Time: Early 2021 if CPU, Early Winter 2020 if Storage

I am looking to upgrade My Pc as it is old. I did not personally build it so this will be my first experience Building/upgrading. My upgrade budget is $500 for CPU, Motherboard and Ram. I am also looking to upgrade my Graphics card in the near future. I will mainly be gaming and editing 4k video. Here are My Current Specs: CPU Core i7 870 Motherboard ASUS P7P55D-E GPU Evga Gtx 1050 (2gb Vram) Most recent upgrade 2yrs ago PSU Corsair Builder 400 W 80+ Ram 20gb DDR3 Storage is in the PC part Picker list Here I am looking to upgrade CPU, Motherboard and Ram as I mentioned earlier. I specked out an intel upgrade that you can see on the pc part picker. I chose intel because that is what I had previously, but I have heard that AMD often has better workstation performance so I also specked it out for AMD CPU Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard ASUS Prime X470-PRO Ram G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (same as in the PC part picker) As for the Future Graphics card Upgrade I would like to get GTX 1660-Ti and a new PSU So I would like to know if I should change a few things and weather I should chose AMD or Intel.
