Heyo everyone, just wondering if someone could help me. I just upgraded my Pc (CPU,Motherboard,Ram,SSD) Computer Specs: Cpu: Intel i7-14700KF Motherboard: Gigabyte z970 gaming x ax GPU: Gigabyte 3070ti PSU: Either 700w or 750w Corsair Ram: DDR5 5200Mhz Water cooling : arctic Freezer ii something like that i think Windows 11 I will use my problem with Cs2 as thats my main game. im getting good FPS (around 250-350fps), but the second i try to go to my steam overlay then everything is soo slow in the overlay takes forever to load something in it and when i try to tap out of the overlay that can take some time or even freeze my screen. Yesterday it happend that when i pressed accept to an game then my screen froze and i couldnt vote any map it only started to show me when i was choosing which team i wanted to start as and when we did that i went to the loading screen to the map that was chosen and there it froze again. i had to go into task manger and end my task to close the game. We finish with that game with no problem for me still getting good fps. but the overlay is still a problem for me Second issue that i have is that when i just wanna play some relaxing game for an example palworld, im running into an issue where im maybe going to get some loot/ingots. I wanna watch some videos and my second monitor then that video starts to stutter/load even tho i can see the white bar at the end which tells me ive downloaded the full video. And i tried to play the video then i starts to lag and the second i turn of the game it stops to load and plays normal. And the Steam overlay is also a problem in Palworld And im getting good fps in Palworld I never actually lag in the games themselves It just drives me craaazy that i can play the games without a problem but the second i wanna maybe multi task or talk to my friends on steam i just cant -

I had an old pc and upgraded it with new cpu, motherboard and ram. After 1week of using the pc wont beep or post, i tried the old motherboard and still nothing new. My specs : 600W power supply pentium 4 Biostar g31d-m7 Intel core 2 duo e7500 Gt 710 1gb gddr5 palit 3gb ram 1333mhz (dual channel) 80gb hard drive I tired the cmos clear thing and to run the pc only at its minimum parts just to power on and still nothing

Hi so when playing games like Gta 5, Minecraft w/ shaders and warzone I avg 50-70 fps, I Understand my system is underperforming and I've done most of the recommended things people say to do. I disabled v sync in game and in Nvidia control panel. my power mode is ultimate performance. My ram has xmp enabled. I only have discord open when playing games. I reset my pc often. I have over 100gb free storage. background apps are minimal same with start up. I have the newest Windows and Gpu driver along with my motherboard newest bios. I've tried a different motherboard and a different power supply. I have deleted and reinstalled games, even factory reset my pc. my temps are between 40-50c doing nothing and 65-70c when gaming. This is the 4th pc ive built and my second time working with a 2070 super, Id say this pc barley half the performance as what I previously experienced. I use nzxt cam to check my Gpu, Cpu and ram usage while gaming and my Gpu max goes 60% and CPU no more that 55% along with ram no more than 60% unless were talking about warzone.. Other than that Ive watched countless videos and read a fair amount of threads finding people with similar problems but no solution has worked for me. Maybe people of the LTT community can help me! Hi, I am having a problem; when I click the power button, the fans of the PSU, CPU and the GPU spin, but after half a second, it turns back off. I’m building a new PC for a friend. I have all the parts in and installed windows. But when I’m in the desktop and click and drag I notice that it kinda stutters and I know it shouldn’t be doing that. The parts I have are Ryzen 7 5800X with ROG Strix B550-I Gaming and 32GBs of Ram. And EVGA 3060. If anyone knows a solution that can help it would be appreciated.

I Just finished a new PC build: https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/s22vMb All was working. But i wasnt able to Sync my Msi aRGB fans with the motherboard software... So i Just unplugged and plugged-in the d_led cable i have connected them with. When i starter the PC again, all was working but the led of the CPU block (that was previously working) and there was no Output on the monitor. I dont know what i did wrong. All the aRGB fans are connected with the thing built in the case.

Hello everyone this is my first ever build and I’m running into an issue where nothing will power up. I have my assumptions it’s the front panel cables. For my case (Deepcool Matrexx 50) came with 4 cables. A single cable for the Power Led+, Power Led-, a two headed for Power SW and a two header for HDD power+-. I do have the manual and have put the cables in as instructed but nothing happens. So I started tinkering and I found there is power to the board but it’s only indicative by putting the led power cables in the wrong places and the start up switches leds turn on. But this is the only indication power is there. I will provide pictures and I hope someone can help me. I’ll explain even further in-depth. When I put the front panel cables into my motherboard (MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard) nothing happens all in the correct locations and everything. But when I put the POWER LED- cable into pin 2 and POWER LED+ in pin 6 the led flashes. It also does this for other pins like pin 9 which is the reserve. So I tried to leave it like that and plug the rest of the cables in as indicated by the manual but still nothing. I’d bet I’m missing something here but to my knowledge I’ve checked most of the troubleshooting options. Hello, i hope i can have a clear answer on what i should do so i can enjoy gaming peacefully without worrying things might happen and ends up destroying my pc, so long story short my pc shuts down sometimes when i'm gaming, usually it happens when i play games like sniper elite 4 or R6 Siege for almost 3 or 4 hours straight then it goes back on itself like nothing happened, no warnings no anything, and i'm using an Automatic Voltage Regulator, sometimes it also happens the moment my regulator making quite loud buzzing noises (it happens randomly), i searched up about the problems and most people said it might be a faulty power supply or the regulator since it made unusual noise, i'm wondering if i should replace my power supply or stop using the regulator or is it better to do both? P.S: it doesn't happen when i do normal usage such as browsing and stuff, and my power supply came with the casing so it doesn't have certification like 80+ or brand as good as corsair and stuff Specs: Intel Core i7-2600, Colorful GTX 1050TI, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD

My spes are: Gpu: evga 980 ti Cpu: i7 3770k Motherboard: Hp carver rev a Ram: ddr3 16gb Psu: rm550x corsair gold Then i have a 1 tb hdd and 250gb ssd My games will crash no matter what settings they are on, I've tried to notice if they crash faster with higher settings and I can barely tell. It's not overheating, that was the first thing I checked. I play fortnite, valorant, and rainbow six seige. They all crash, but fortnite crashes more often. Valorant doesn't crash that much, more every so often. I have a feeling it might be my ram, but I did a memory test and it came back fine. My pc also crashes sometimes, but that doesn't happen that much. This isn't custom built, my moms friend just offered the Gpu to me for free and I put it in this pc that I just had. Then I had issues with this cheap psu and got the corsair one. Before my pc would turn off for a few days and not turn on. But that doesn't happen any more because I got rid of that crappy psu. I would of never put it in, but the guy did it him self and I didn't have any money to upgrade. Im going to buy a new pc this summer, but rn I would like to just play on this and not have it crash. This has been a problem for a while now and i have tried almost everything. I changed my graphics card, upgraded my cpu to a ryzen 9, and i use hyper x fury 2x8 2666hz. I've closed all programs and background as well and it still closes. And tempetures are from 58C to 63C. I need to know how to fix this before it destroys my pc. And the most weird thing is it only happens with games and no other program. For now i haven't been playin that much but when i do it either crashes or simply closes. I really need help you guys. BTW my mobo is a b450 f and my gpu is an msi radeon rx 570 8gb.

I built my pc a while back and have always had performance in games that was not matching the performance I have seen others having with a similar setup as mine. I have been trying to correct the low performance with my setup for a while and haven't gotten anywhere. I have reset my BIOS and updated it, uninstalled my GPU drivers and reinstalled them, Overclocked my GPU, and contacted EVGA to see if they could correct my problem, but nothing seems to work. If you know what might be the problem with my computer please help. My PC started freezing now when this happened I tried resetting all the clock speeds to what they are from factory but didn't change the voltage from my OC voltage (I know that was dumb, but the PC had been running fine with that voltage for 1 year so I thought it was fine not to change it) Now what I did afterwards was really dumb, I left my CPU (AMD FX8350 Black Edition) at 4.7GHz and changed the voltage to +15000 instead of +20000 and tried rebooting, It didn't even show a splash screen (But everything powers up like normal, except for the CPU if I feel the air coming off the radiator its cold so the CPU isn't powering on) . I tried to reset it but the reset button did nothing. I want to know if there is a way to clear the BIOS without the reset button or access to the BIOS. BTW the reset button is connected to the motherboard with the right headers.

hi, my friend recently built a pc, but he cant seem to get it to post. he brought it over and we've just been trying different things. we tried removing and reinstalling the cpu, removing the graphics card, disconnecting the hard drive, and we have tried using both on-board graphics and graphics from the card. we've also tried using different inputs and different monitors. the computer powers on like a gem; all the fans spin, lights work, and hard drive boots up, but nothing plugged in to the usb ports will light up (although they do give a flash when the computer first turns on). if anybody has any idea what could be wrong, please let us know. specs are: athlon x4 860k, msi a68hi ac, 8gb kingston valuram 1333mhz, evga 500w 80+ psu, msi gtx 770 4gb, 320gb seagate barracuda 7200rpm

hey I wanted to ask if anyone has been having a problem with their corsair m65 Pro RGB gaming mouse. My mouse side buttons stop working and so as a solution I have to keep opening Icue or I have to disconnect my mouse and reconnect it. If anyone knows a solution please let me know.

So cant send screenshots of anything since it is not a error. To get to the point I start my PC and the first hour of it wrking i cant open chrome or anything but later it becomes ok accept the games they dont wanna load. Here is a fiew thing i did before that hapenned I have 2tb HDD(C:480<windows,D:480,E:880) and I transfered every game from D disk to E so arround 150 GB and as i was transfering i was playing a game but I cant see wht that would be a problem. If anyone had a similar problem or and knows how too fix this it would be apreciated.

hey guys, i got a problem on my pc out of nowhere. when i play games and even sometimes just out of nowhere on desktop get a weird cut out oversized bluescreen with the errorcode 'IQRL less or not equal'. i've looked up the errorcode and found that is probably is memmory relatable, so i cleared everything that got anything to do with the memmory. and it still appears now and then. only weird thing i could find is that my ram is locked on 0mb hardware asigned memmory and that the speed and stuff like that doesnt show up anymore in win 10. anyone got an idea how to fix this? -

I've had so many problems with this pc im thinking about throwing it off a fucking building. Anyways I had been having this problem with my ram for a while. I had an 8 gb kit of teamgroup ddr4 with my ryzen system that all of a sudden refused to work in dual channel. I switched from the ab350m, to the msi b350 proseries or some bullshit, then another msi board, then finally back to an ab350m. I realized finally that it was most certainly my ram right? I've bought and returned to the point to where I was absolutely sure it was my ram.I bought a kit of patriot viper ddr4 and had the same fucking problem. I've reseated multiple times. And, now I have an even bigger problem than what I started with. Now, I can start up into the bios just fine but every time I try to boot into windows on my hard drive I get these flashing green lines at the top of my screen. Did my graphics card die? I've already formatted, cleaned, changed the sata cable, and the sata port and my drive still wont boot into windows. And if my graphics card is dead why does it show picture in the bios? Is it my motherboard again? I did push down a 'little' hard when installing it but I didn't rko them into the slot so I don't think I could've messed them up that way. I've checked all connections and made sure everything was securely plugged in. What do I do now?

Ok all of this started when I bought my PC and opened it up around 6 months after..like now. The PC is made to my specifications it has a.. Core i7 4790 Seagate 1 tera HDD MSI N750 Kingston 8GB value RAM MSI H177 (i think) Motherboard Thermaltake 600 watt psu Stock cooler and a Thermaltake Versa h16 Case ... I noticed that the shop didnt have a great job in cable management so i decided to go and try to manage the cables myself (I dont have an anti static collar btw), and took LInus' word for it to touch the PSU when u move. I got the job done like half way and stopped because I realized it's impossible for me to manage everything because i have no experience in making a PC. When i booted up the PC it ran super SLOW like it was running in slow motion or something, or had low frames.. this happens 2/3 times when i boot up.. when i restart it, it kinda fixes it, but i do have to do it like 3 time.. so I'm asking is this the static electricty's fault (and mine i know i suck), can i fix it? and what will i do? Thank you in advance.. You are welcome to be salty... I deserve it
