Hello! I have been a pc gamer since about 2020 (all of which took place on a pretty slow Samsung desktop lmao), and have finally decided to start building my own pc! I have all my pieces picked out, and would just like some opinions/recommendations on the things I have! I am doing a pink and white build, and I love rgb lol. My budget is around $1,500. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s input! Thanks so much!

Budget (including currency): 650€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games, working Other details: Upgrading from a slow laptop, I have a GTX 750 lying around, I could use it and upgrade later, no periphials. Hey everyone, Thanks for helping me out.My old laptop is not doing it anymore, I need a PC. I am not sure what to look out for when buying a PC. Espacially I need assistance with buying a compatible case and motherboard. I will use the pc to play some, partially quite demanding games, with my friends. Disclaimer: I don't need to be able to play Cyberpunk at max settings, I'm fine with running low settings as long as the experience is fluid so I can enjoy the time with my friends. My Dad got a new PC and I kept his GTX 750. I could use that and get a new GPU around christmas if that helps with maxing out my build and/or with the current GPU shortage. I would also be willing to buy used parts if it gives me better performance. I want to be able to upgrade later as well. This will me my first build, so if you have any important tips/guides that will help me NOT mess up while building, tell me please If any of you would take their time to advice me with what parts to buy, what options I have and giving tips, I would be really happy! (Also I know that some parts aren't avalable in Germany that would be in the USA, but I'll just look for similair alternatives) + I like ssd's. +If I use my GTX 750, what could I upgrade from this: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor €184.99 @ Caseking Motherboard ASRock B550M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard €103.71 @ Computeruniverse Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory €83.97 @ Amazon Deutschland Storage Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive €95.90 @ Amazon Deutschland Case Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower Case €75.89 @ Caseking Power Supply EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply €66.39 @ Alza Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total €610.85 Generated by PCPartPicker 2021-04-11 12:09 CEST+0200

pcparts building pc with a friend, want opinions
KMGpowerman posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
I recently made a parts list for my friend, and I want to know what I can tweak/change in this list to optimize it for the gaming and video editing he is planning on doing. Is there anyway I can change this list while staying within his $1,600 USD budget. (It only says $800 because some parts aren't in stock) Here's the link: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor CPU Cooler Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB V2 65.59 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $79.99 @ Walmart Motherboard MSI MAG B550M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $169.99 @ Newegg Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $104.99 @ Newegg Storage Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $59.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $52.99 @ Adorama Video Card EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB XC GAMING Video Card Case Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini ATX Mid Tower Case $119.99 @ Newegg Power Supply Corsair SF 600 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply $109.99 @ Newegg Monitor MSI Optix G271 27.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor $176.50 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $874.43 Generated by PCPartPicker 2021-04-09 19:55 EDT-0400 -

Hey, I am currently picking parts to build an office PC for my dad. It should handle Microsoft office, chrome etc. There is no need for gaming, video/photo editing. The pc should handle 2 1080p monitors however. This is what I came up with: CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 265,91 € CPU-Cooler Noctua NH-U9S 60,89 € Motherboard MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI 95,56 € SSD Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500gb 119,99 € RAM Corsair DIMM 16 GB DDR4-3600 Kit 74,90 € PSU Be-Quiet PC-power supply Straight Power 11 BN305, 550 W 101,86 € Case SilverStone Fara H1M 51,98 € Monitor iiyama G-MASTER Red Eagle GB2770HSU-B1 68,6 cm (27") 199,00 € *We will use an old all-in-one PC as a second monitor. The system should be very quiet and compact since it will be running in an office all day. Do you think the iGPU in the CPU will be strong enough to handle the 2 monitors? Is there anything that is incompatible? Thanks

It's not resource intensive homework, but I need a lot of tabs open Other details I don't have any existing parts, I'm upgrading from a IdeaPad, I'm going to buy it as soon as possible, I would like to play at 120 hz or above at 1080p I don't have a monitor.

Budget (including currency): $1200 AUD Country: Australia, last I checked Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Ahh a bit of this and a bit of that Other details: G'day ladys and gents, and all in between. Firstly id like to say thanks for checking out the topic. Im building a pc for my mum and essentially, I have'nt build a rig in a while and id just like to ensure all the componants ive picked out are going to work like bees and honey. A couple of things you should know: It needs to be quick It should last a long while Shes not an extremely intesnive user, however she is a teacher and uses a wide variety of programs Yes, she will get a gpu, just not while you can get a 1050ti for the price of a 1070 lol (so she will be needing dedicated graphics for a while) Ive got no experience with dedicated graphics so if she is to get a new monitor later on, can she still run 144hz on dedicated? Again I appreciate your time and help and I look foward to hearing back. The system will need to be bought kind of asap so the sooner the better p.s. Ive been using pccasegear as im located in Australia. Ive bought from them many many times so i have no quarms with them and idealy would like to keep using them. Mwave and Scorptec are also ok :) p.s.s also I am aware having 5 pcs that she doesnt need water cooling necessarily or RGB, however she does want something to be proud of. She really likes the case, and she does live In a hotter climate

Budget (including currency): $1145.91 (after conversion) Country: Malaysia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Davinci Resolve, After effects, Photoshop, Assassin's creed, Counter strike and maybe animation in the future Other details: Motherboard MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI AMD Socket AM4 B550 CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU COLORFUL GTX 1660 SUPER 6GDDR6 VGA Ram CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ x 2 Case Tecware Alpha M TG WHITE m-ATX Tempered Glass Casing HDD Western Digital WD Caviar Blue 3.5" Internal HDD 1TB SSD Kingston NVMe A2000 PCIe Gen 500GB Power supply CORSAIR 550W CV550 80+ BRONZE POWER SUPPLY CPU Cooler Stock Cooler This will be my first ever pc build so any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm currently using a hp laptop (not a gaming one) with 16gb of ram and a graphics card. It gets slow when I video edit while using other applications in the background. The main use of this pc will be for video editing. Currently working with 1080p footage and laptop is struggling to run Fusion on Davinci Resolve smoothly. I have a 75hz monitor. My hopes for this pc is to be able to run Fusion on Davinci Resolve smoothly and be able to handle multitasking such as having After Effects and Resolve open at the same time while utilizing them simultaneously. Hopefully my fps on games will increase too. Some questions i have 1. I'm aware that the studio version of Davinci Resolve is GPU intensive but the free version is using the CPU more. I'm a little tight on my budget so should I get a GTX1660 instead? Or would GTX1660s be the minimum I should get? 2. Are there any major differences between a motherboard with wifi and just getting a WIFI dongle separately? 3. Lastly, do the specs match the price in your opinion, or would going with a prebuilt be a better choice for me? Any help/opinions/suggestion would be greatly appreciated

build Needed help for choosing/optimising my pc parts
Pouek_ posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Budget (including currency): ~10 000 PLN Country: Poland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Programing, Game dev, Streaming, Playing games like Cyberpunk, Far Cry, Doom Other details Hey! I want to build my first pc. I will use it to play games like above at 120Hz 1440p, make games, stream on twitch and do other programing stuff. For now I have almost 5 years old laptop from Asus with Intel core i5 6300hq, gtx 960m, HDD 1TB, 8GB of ram, with second monitor from MSI. The performance is getting worse and the HDD is very slow and I think it's time to spend some money on new pc. Time is not great because GPU-s have even bigger prices in Poland than in any other country. I was playing a little bit with the parts and the list I have now is at the bottom. Can I change something to spend less money? Help is really apreciated List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RHkq2V -

I am also a graphic designer so need a computer that would run Adobe Programs with ease. Other details (I've attached my current list) and am planning on buying at the end of the year/early next year, I already have a monitor that supports up to 1440p. Will also need to purchase an OS https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3wTkqm This is also the link to the build!

It's as the title suggests, and with the uncertainty of the prices of pc parts, especially with AMD and 40 series right around the corner. Should I buy some of the 'minor' pc parts like RAM, storage/SSD, psu, etc; buy those now while the prices are low and wait to buy the major parts (CPU, GPU, motherboard) when it releases? Or wait until the time after release to start buying (all) the parts? In my case, I plan to upgrade when Ryzen 7000 releases since my pc will be 6 years old by that point. I dont need the pc yet, but I figured I might as well take advantage of buying some of the parts now while prices for some parts are relatively cheap/decent. Buy some now and buy rest later, or buy everything later?

I'm thinking about building a new PC. Right now I have: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RF4F2R And I was thinking of: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4CFWhq Both the HDD and SSD will be the same, so as the GTX 970. I want to keep it around that budget (maybe 50 more). About the CPU Cooler, I'm not interested in a high-end or watercooling beacuse I will not make OC. Also, moving from W7 Ultimate 64bits to W10 Pro 64 bits is a good idea? I'm not interested in OC (But I need the 8 USB ports the MOBO has) and gaming in 4k, only one 22" 1080p monitor. Casual Gamer (Bf4/Bf1/Most Shooters and maybe some future games), fan of RGB lights. Mechanical Keyboard + Mouse + Camera. Is it a good idea to upgrade or is it better to wait until the new Intel generation? I'm not interested in any AMD product.

Hi lads i got some questions about a new cpu that i'm going to buy next month.(If its not the right place i'm so sorry).1:I stuck between choosing I5 6600 and I5 7600K those two got pros and cons for me here some of them:If i buy I5 7600k i will get more power (If i'm not mistaken its about %15) but i would need to buy new ddr4 ram with more expensive motherboard and I5 7600K is 110 usd more expensive than I5 6600.If i buy I5 6600 i can use my ddr3 ram with it and i can buy other things like a new ssd and hdd.2: I got a old gpu HD 6970 will 6600 or 7600k bottleneck it?3: If they can does bottleneck physically cause damage to the parts?4: Also i need a motherboard suggestion for those cpu's End note: I'm sorry about my broken English i tried my best also:1: I have to select from those 2 cpu's2: Buying from a website is not possible for me 3: How long will they last
