I have my PC in the back of my bedroom where my WiFi signal is pretty bad. As such, I've been getting a maximum of 80mbps download using my Intel duel band WiFi card with a gigabit line to my router. As a "let's see what happens" I added a wifi tp-link dongle I had laying around and connected it to the same router and now I get 180mbps. If I remove either my WiFi card or my dongle I get a maximum of 80mbps. For context, Im running windows 11 with an i5 9400f and a gtx 1060. I would add a wired connection but I don't want to run cables all over my house. Can someone explain why this would be the case?

Ok so I have a Ryzen 9 5900x and there has been a lot of talk about undervolting these chips lately because of the excessive power draw. I was screwing around with the bios settings and the auto oc on my tuf gaming x570 runs my cpu at 4.2ghz constant. Now this could totally be placebo but omg it felt so much better but ran slightly worse. If I leave the chip at stock it just occasionally boosts to 4.8 but it just jumps around constantly. So my question is taking everything into account, frametimes, stutter, 1%lows etc. are there any benefits to running your cpu at a constant core clock vs letting it do whatever it wants besides less power draw. Would love to see a video done on this.

Does anyone know of any single slot brackets for Radeon 5700xt? I am watercooling two of them for my unraid build and I'll like for them to not take up two slots on the case. With the heat sink and fan(s) off of them, they only take up one slot and I intend to everyone single one of my pcie lanes. I have found that EK makes this - Single Slot GTX 1080 Bracket , but I am not able to find anything for the Navi or RTX series cards. Also, if none exist, would it cause any trouble to single cut the dual slot bracket in half and use that?

So I am finally building a pc. I have I am looking to build but I am looking for tips to improve my build. I have never built a PC before but I think I built a pretty good pc. Currently I play competitive games like Overwatch,Destiny 2, Halo 5 and Apexlegend. I also play other games like Monster hunter world, Battlefield and Red dead redemption 2. And I am looking 2 make a switch to pc. My goal is to have a pc that runs games at 240 or close to 240 frames on games for as cheap as possible without losing value or performance for the price. I also want to be able to practice video editing and photo shop skill on the same pc. I am going to list all the parts I think is good for what I want. I will also give a brief description on why I choose each and every part. CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3700x processor. I chose the AMD Ryzen 7 3700x processor because it has 8 cores and it runs close to the performance of a Intel i9 9990k while being much cheaper. GPU : MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus 8GB I was gonna buy sapphire 5700 xt pulse but I saw the MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus for cheaper so I think I will buy that and seems to run OW and Destiny 2 a little better. Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE It seems to a good motherboard. It's also on the Best motherboard list here. SSD: Intel 660p 1TB M.2 No comment RAM : G.Skill DDR4 Ripjaws-V 2x8GB 3600MHz It is in discount and Ryzen chips run better on higher Frequency RAM. Casing : Silverstone RL06 So this was easy cause Game nexus tests PC cases and Rl06 seems to have a very good airflow. Mouse : Cooler Master MM710 or Ultra light 2 I used Rocket jump ninja to Gauge a mouse that would work for me. Keyboard : I will probably chose a Brown or Red switch mechanical keyboard. Does anyone know when the Intel 10th gen kf processors will be out? All stores I've looked at have showed either 'pre-order' or 'back-order' along with intel saying it is launched. Also, I heard about the shortages on the 10th gen K processors, anyone know how long it takes for it to go back in stock whilst not overpriced?

This is my list http://pcpartpicker.com/list/VKdPVY Everything is fine until i put M.2 to this godamn motherboard It says The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with a SATA Express port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA Express port is disabled. Tf?? So this 'great' mobo wont support M.2 or what? I dont very understand about 'PCIe lane' tho, very stupid of me Could you good people enlighten me please Thank you so much
