I've recently acquired components for a system build, including an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 A320m motherboard, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM storage comprising a 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD. The case is a DK353 with 3x ARGB fans, I've opted for a Corsair VS 650 PSU (The components are on its way and i currently dont know my vs650 comes with orange or silver lablel... Whats the difference between both??) I'm seeking professional opinions on whether this power supply will suffice for these components, or if its use poses a risk. Your insights on this matter would be greatly valued.

Hello! I have been a pc gamer since about 2020 (all of which took place on a pretty slow Samsung desktop lmao), and have finally decided to start building my own pc! I have all my pieces picked out, and would just like some opinions/recommendations on the things I have! I am doing a pink and white build, and I love rgb lol. My budget is around $1,500. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s input! Thanks so much!

Hey everyone! So i am currently pricing out a new gaming computer. I don't really have a "set" budget but i dont want to spend a stupid amount of money. Im stuck at what graphics card to purchased, i have my eyes on the ASUS Geforce Strix GTX 1070 overclocked 8GB. I originally was looking at the non-OC one but its about a 50$ difference but all the clock speeds are a significant difference with the OC version. Does anyone have any idea on this card? If im paying around 450$ for the 1070 OC should i just spend more money for a 1080 or is there not much of a point!!!

So, I have wanted to build a PC for a while but never had enough money to do so. Now that I can get a job I want to start saving for one. I have been thinking of what parts I am going to buy and I want to have a high end PC, so I initially was going to get 2 RTX 2080 8gb graphics cards... but I didn't know if I should get 1 RTX 2080 ti 11gb or if it was going to be more beneficial than the 2 8gb graphics cards. Also if any of you guys have any monitor suggestions that would be great (4k). Here is the PC if you have any other tips / suggestions. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qgBCxG

I am Planing to build a Hackinstosh for Home Studio recording and video editing. However, I stuck in my decision to get a normal intel 9th gen processor like K or the non-k series or go budget-friendly and get intel i5-9600KF or intel i5 9400F. That thing I'm very concerned about is that what if I run into a problem where after installing the Mac OS that won't be displayed because you need to install the drivers for the graphic card first. Can anyone be able to give me some pointer and tips to overcome that issue Components that I'm planing to buy: Processor: Intel i5 9600KF or intel i5 9400F Motherboard: Z390 Graphic Card: AMD RX VEGA 64 or AMD RX 5700 XT (My friend keeps telling me to go for AMD RX 5700 XT) Ram: 32 GB 3200 Mhz Storage: 500 gb SSD the rest of the part i might decide later depending upon the budget remaining

So I build my pc in June 2019. I used it for school and gaming but I felt like it never really ran the way it should run. So I decided to do a benchmark on UserBenchmark. These are my results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/21401134 I am very new to all of this so I don't know where to start looking. Could someone help me here? I guess its the hard drive that does not run the way it should run... It also says my cpu, gpu and SSD are performing below expectations... I posted this here because my nvme is not working right.

First try to make my own wooden pc case, gtx 1080 overclocked temp max 60°c cpu 7700k overclocked 4.9ghz 1.28v max 75°c. Idle temps are cpu and gpu around 35°c. 3x140mm nzxt fans front 3x120mm nzxt fans back Made out of plywood 15mm thick, destroyed an old corsair 500d case and only used its mobotray to start with the dimensions :) If you have questions i am happy to answer them. The rainbow effect is only for the video, i use a solid darkblue color myself to match the wood :). VID_20200914_145701.mp4

Budget (including currency): 3,500$ -4,000$ USD Country: Puerto Rico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Lumion, Revit, Blender,Other Autodesk programs Mainly will be used though games will be played from time to time. Ive been jumping from site to site and forums trying to figure out a way to build a pc properly that can withstand and run my programs with ease, especially with Lumion. Until now i got this done in Origin since it will give me everything in one place; Case : MILLENNIUM Chassis Side Panels : Tempered Glass-Aluminum Interior Lighting : ORIGIN PC RGB Lighting Processors : AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core 3.8GHz (4.6GHz Max Boost) Motherboard : ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO WiFi Memory : 32GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE 3000MHz (2x16GB) System Cooling : CORSAIR H100i PRO XT RGB Case Fans : ORIGIN PC Maximum Fan Kit Graphics Cards : NVIDIA 11GB GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founder's Edition GPU : 1 Operating System : MS Windows 10 Home Hard Drive Cage : 5 Bay Hard-Drive Cage Operating System Drive : 500GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus PCIe NVMe M.2 RAID : No RAID Hard Drive : 1TB Seagate BarraCuda SSD Hard Drive : 1 Power Supply : CORSAIR 850X RMX SERIES PLUS GOLD PSU Power Supply Sleeved Cable : No Sleeved Cable Audio : Integrated High-Definition Audio Networking : Onboard Network Port Now all this look fine but i dont know if its going to be efficient or even work. Tips about all of this is greatly appreciated. This PC wil be my precious and will be essential for my studies in architecture. P.S. first time posting in a forum, if i put it in the wrong place or something do tell. -
Budget (including currency): (Not really a set budget) Max 3000 CAD for everything Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Photoshop, LoL, RE2, Doom Eternal, 1080p video/audio editing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi, this is my first time posting, I want to pick out a build for my brother, he has an old laptop that barely works. He wants something that can play modern titles at decent framerates. He also wants a cheap laptop for school that isn't absolutely terrible. I have a few questions about this build because I have only built 2 pcs and he has never built one before. I had a 3200g lying around and a bunch of case fans, but I want him to be able to upgrade with a GPU, a new CPU, a monitor, in the future but figured I should get him a case, MOBO, ram, storage, that will last him for a long time. Parts and why I chose them: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Ben_Ex/saved/#view=wz4K3C CPU: 3200G (already have) OS: Windows home (140$) MOBO: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard (280$) Forward compatible with R4+ looked around and Jayztwocents said that x570 was more future oriented than B550, WiFi because he is upstairs and a cord up the stairs isn't nice. GPU: ??? This will go hand in hand with the monitor, I was thinking of waiting until 3000 series Nvidia and Navi2 launch before deciding. RAM: G.Skill Aegis 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (143$) I have 32 GB of Patriot 2800 MHz I would trade him for these because they were falsely advertised as 3600. 32GB because future proof and photoshop/video editing SSD: Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (85$) (Reputable company, boot drive and current game drive, where all other programs are on the HDD) HDD: Seagate Barracuda Compute 3 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive.(120$) Not sure if 7200 vs 5600 makes a big difference, where the bulk of his data will go. Has many files that he wants in a central location. Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case (90$) Cheap case that seems easy to build in, he hates RGB and does not want to see the inside, quieter is better. PSU: Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (170$) I know it's overkill but to be able to go forward without having to upgrade later is cheaper than getting a 500W now and another one later. modular because easier to work with. Optical Drive: LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer (81$) He still uses physical media, this was the cheapest I could find from a company I recognized. Monitor: ??? I think he would want at least 1080p 100 Hz but not sure if the 3200G can handle that without a dedicated GPU Keyboard: ??? Corsair K55 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard (80$) Mouse: ??? Logitech G502 HERO Wired Optical Mouse (80$) Mouse and keyboard are placeholders, anything that is easy to type on and comfortable is the best as he writes a lot and finds his wrists hurt after typing on his keyboard. Definitely no water-cooling! Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated, Ben

Hello! So I wanted to sell my old gpu gtx 660 and when i brought it to this guy it didnt work it booted up and then shut down he tested it on 2 different motherboards same problem so i was like thats odd and didn't think any of it later but then like 1 week after I put my gtx 660 in my motherboard which is ddr3 HB1M-C and it booted up just fine but it didnt display on monitor i was like ok meh its broken whatever so i went to sleep next day i did cable management because i have shitty office mini atx case and plugged my gtx 1050ti back in and when i was about to start it same problem as before, cpu fan and gpu fans spinning but it still isn't showing on monitor then I thought it was my monitors fault so I grabbed my monitor and plugged hdmi cable to tv router and some kind of tv show showed up just fine so then i thought it was my gpu's fault but i was so confused it was working day before just fine. So only solution left i unplugged gpu from motherboard then plugged my vga into motherboard because this motherboard doesn't have hdmi support and tried to boot it up Nope Still the same problem So please help me is the problem my motherboard? And if so why did this just happen

Hey guys, do any of you have any suggestions/pointers (i.e. CPU of choice, how much RAM) to a total noob who's looking to build a PC for music production. I'll be running Ableton and will probably looking to do some light gaming on the system down the line. Thanks for the help!
