Hi, first time poster here so forgive me and do let me know if I've missed out anything, thanks in advanced to anyone who decides to help. Problem: So for the past months I've been getting random restarts while playing games, I've upgraded to a 3080 in April 2022, but I don't remember encountering any problems until around the time where I started playing Destiny 2 at around September. Whenever this would happen, I usually would just get the "final sound stutter" before getting a black screen and the PC restarts with no error code, or sometimes it'd just go to black screen and restart right away. When I first got the GPU, I've played RDR2 from start to finish for about 100+ hours and have not encountered any problems at all, but ever since the restarts started happening, it has happened to almost every games I've played thus far. There's no pattern to when it would crash too, for example: In Destiny 2 it would happen when there's a lot of things going on, or when I'm just sitting in Orbit changing my character's gears or even just AFK-ing in Orbit. Destiny 2 has it the worst as well, it feels like it happens every single time I play D2. While this also happens to other games like Sons of the Forest, Hunt Showdown and maybe Anno 1800, it is less common in these games compared to D2. For the longest time I was convinced that it was just D2 fucking up. I am not sure if this could be related to the infamous power spike that Nvdia 30 series cards get, it sounds like that to me. But I do have a higher than required PSU (850W), and while I have not followed the news on the issue too closely, have the issues not been resolved? If it has been resolved, how do I make sure that I actually got the fix? Honestly I've been just dealing with it cause for the longest time I thought it only happens in D2, and my SSD made sure that the PC restarts fast enough that it never really got THAT annoying when it happens. But the restarts happening in Hunt Showdown causing my friends to lose or happening in Sons of the Forest causing me (host) and my friends to lose progress is just unacceptable. Solutions I have tried (non have worked): 1: Enable Debug mode in NVDIA Control Panel (found this in a D2 troubleshooting thread on Steam.) 2: Reset all my GPU settings to default, uninstalled any overclocking software like Zotac Firestorm (I got it just for fan curves control) 3: Monitored temps with HWMonitor while gaming to hopefully catch anything sus when the restart happens, haven't done this in awhile but I don't remember seeing anything sus. Temps were overall fine too IIRC. 4: Restarting the PC before I start gaming and close as many background programs as I could. 5: Reinstalled and updated GPU drivers multiple times. 6: Made sure my windows are up to date. 7: Reinstall Destiny 2. 8: Checked event view, don't think whatever's there helps, will include a screenshot of the most recent restart I got. 9: Probably more but I don't remember Solution that I have NOT tried: 1: Reset/Reinstall Windows 2: Upgrade to Windows 11 3: Test running the PC with other PSU. 4: Underclocking my GPU (I'm not familiar with overclocking/underclocking CPU/GPU) 5: Clean the fans filter (I've been thinking about this for awhile, but haven't gotten around to it due to busy schedule, and I keep forgetting.) Things I usually actively use that runs in the background when I game: Game, Shadowplay, Discord, Steam, Spotify, FB Messenger, Whatsapp Messenger, probably a few more I can't recall at the moment. So far i've been playing on laptop for long time. I gotten sick and tried playing on laptop with 16' screen and battery need replacement after year or so. I decide to buy a pre-built. For some odd reason bios got reset to default. So far I resist the ram, gpu and check all the cable. Front panel led is not working. I have microphone, external hd, switch to normal keybard and wifi. PC still shutdown. All drive update (gpu,cpu and windows update) Any help would nice, beside just refund since i've plan to build my own system in a future when gpu back to normal msrp

Greetings, members. I need your help. I use a 2200 VA Pure Sine Wave inverter having an output wattage of 1760 Watts with two batteries (220 Ah each), but while gaming, if there is power, my pc RESTARTS. However, everything works as expected if the computer is idle or performing some not so power-hungry task on a power cut. Plus, after RESTARTS, if I play the same game on the exact configuration on the inverter, there is no issue. The total calculated power consumption of the room where the computer is installed does not exceed 1000 Watts. I googled a lot but got nothing useful. Got my PSU checked. After a few tests, the Service centre guy told me it's working fine. I have the following hardware: 1) Asus 3090 Oc gaming GC 2) Corsair AX1000 80+ PSU 3) AMD 5950x 4) 3 NVME SSD’s 5) 1 HDD 6) Benq 32 inch Monitor Please guide. Thank you.

So when I play CS:GO or GTA V and exit, either exit through the game, alt+ctrl+delete, windows button... it will bring my computer to a halt and black screen (i will refer to it as "BS"), if i am watching a YT video in the background then i will still hear the audio but in order for me to use my system, I need to restart my new system (2 weeks old). It started doing this after I had downloaded discord and updated JAVA, I was just updating some things and when the pop-ups for discord had been showing up mid game, the system gave the BS after 2 rounds in CS:GO. I had figured it was discord just ruining my computer so I had deleted it along with all remaining files using "Revo Uninstaller" and it had been working until I had actually tried to exit the game, It happens when it goes from a full screen application back to Windows. I had deleted all java files and all discord files because thats the only couple things I remember installing... Please tell me how i can go back to my windows without having to restart. If relevant, my system has: Intel 7700k Asus strix z270h Strix radeon rx480 Corsair Vengeance lpx 16GB 2133 Corsair h115i AIO cooler Evga Supernova 650 g2 This is a new problem, has been working perfectly before this for a solid week and half, I'm also using Windows 10 64bit if it matters..

My pc restarts after every 10 - 15 mins of working and every restart has a message saying bootable devices not detected and it won't start. If you plug out the HDD cables and out it back again, the pc works fine for another 10 - 15 mins and back to square 1. My bootable drive is a Kingston 240GB SSD

Today i finished re-building my pc, i changed motherboard with processor, like "motherboard with processor" swap from AMD Phenom II x4 965 to intel i5 [i don't know motherboard and that i5 numbers] i done everything, i added 120ssd, then i turned pc on, it auto restarted, it didn't even booted. Please help me!

Hi everyone! I have build my pc recently and up till now no problems at all for all other games that i was playing I didn´t had any problems warcraft III, northguard, subnautica, surviving mars, civilization VI....... but now that I have started playing DOOM I have had already two or three times a blue screen that resets my computer I have no idea on what can be the problem my build is: processor I7 8700k Ram 32GB Gskill 3600 water cooler 280mm corsair windows installed nvme ssd m.2 samsung 250GB games installed 6TB hdd 7200 rpm toshiba case corsair 780t graphic card GTX 1080TI asus strix monitors are 2 asus 4 28", but only using one monitor to play and the other one to read guides while playing the game thanks everybody

I have a problem since I bought a new GPU, msi GTX 970 Gaming OC, I keep getting pc restart wile I am in games, for example I get pc restart wile I do something specific or at some specific moments in the game, it always restart at that point and I cant pass it. For example in Metal Gear Solid V on prologue when that lady comes and throw the knife at the other guy, the movie starts and when she burs in flame the pc restarts, always at that same point. Event-Log: EventLog,Event 6008 The previous system shutdown at 12:21:32 PM on ‎2/‎14/‎2016 was unexpected. Kernel-Power,Event 41 The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Hi guys. I've been using my current PC for about 5-6 months now and just recently started to face a Restart problem with Far Cry 3. I've been gaming without a hitch these past few months but this problem suddenly popped up and I have no idea about the reason behind it. This happens exclusively when I start Far Cry 3. The screen goes black and my pc restarts. Also if i run the benchmark within Tomb Raider the same thing happens. I have Splinter Cell Blacklist and Fifa 14 installed on my system as well and they seem to be running without a hitch. My Specs are :: Core i5-3470 Quad 3.2GHz Radeon HD 7850 Sapphire OC Edition 8 GB DDR3 1333MHz GigaByte GA-H77-DS3H Gigabyte Superb E620 GE-E620A-C3 620W Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 I've not overclocked anything and my temps seem to be within the norm. (Cpu: 55-65c and Gpu:55-60c when gaming). Any kind of help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
