Hey, I recently upgraded my cpu, motherboard, and ram. My parts list is now as follows: cpu: 7800x3d gpu: 3070 motherboard: MSI Pro B650M-A Wifi ram: Corsair vengeance 6000 ddr5 psu: 850w gigabyte when I changed everything over I also just reset everything and installed windows 11 (I was running windows 10) everything was working fine for about a week and then I started to get some weird crashes a couple days ago. What happens is my pc will randomly become incredibly stuttery, to the point I can barely move my mouse cursor. initially it would do this for a while and then fix itself. Then I started having to restart my pc when this would happen. I reset my bios, did a cmos clear. I also made sure xmp was off. It was still happening. But it was didn’t happen too often and before I could just boot back in so I just gave up trying to fix it - I reinstalled all my drivers, chipset, and motherboard drivers and did a bios flash. However it has gotten much much worse. Now when I am booting the motherboard loading screen will even stutter very badly, and then load forever and never actually boot to windows, or it will just boot loop. when I do get to windows it will work for about 5 minutes before crashing again (weird thing is everything will open but chrome will just not). Every time I crash the ram LED comes on for a very brief moment. I can’t get into windows king enough to try install new drivers or try problem solve. So then I tried to completely reset windows, but when I go to the windows troubleshoot and try to do it, it’ll get about 50% through, start to stutter and then crash like every other time. So it won’t even let me reset windows. I even got into windows before launched a game and it ran fine for 5 minutes before crashing again and all the same stuttering and then a ram light. I tried re seating everything in my pc, twice. Still having the same issues. Please please please help me get this fixed quickly, I need to play starfield (Also I had to type this out on my phone as my ox is not working so soz if it’s a bit Jank) feel free to ask any other questions if I missed anything. thanks a bunch.

I recently posted on here and they gave me a link to a part, however I don't trust myself and decided to look for a repair shop, I can't send it to Toshiba as they no longer give support to any laptops. I came across a company which claims they are an IT provider and rely on venders and stuff. Anyone think they are legitimate or just wanting to appear legit? The Facebook for the company has a lot of likes and some say they fixed the problem. Should I trust them?

Hi Guys, I have been encountering this kind of display since I started installing the AMD Radeon software for my Ryzen 3 2200G. This happens when I start maximizing or minimizing tabs or even going to full screen for YouTube videos. However, they will not be around for too long, at least 3 seconds on display then once I move the mouse to another area on my computer such as the folders, it will return to normal. Here is the error Ive been experiencing. THanks for your assistance on this one! By the way Monitor is HP V194, no video card and 8GB memory.

Buckle up. So yesterday I had my drumming exam for my first year learning drums. Later the same day, my mom and I (She has a car, I'm too young to drive at 17 in Uruguay,) had to pick up my cousin (17, too) from her boyfriend's house and take her to her home, AND back. All was fine and dandy until we got back, and she casually (but purposefully) told me they had a computer that wasn't working. I instantly offered help suspecting it was something stupid like the cable being half-plugged or something. So for clearance, my cousin's boyfriend is REALLY poor and lives in a house the size of a small garage, and they were extremely excited because they had just gotten an oven, the size of a microwave, for Christmas, from my aunt (cousin's mom.) That's the level of wealth they have. Also for clearance, her boyfriend is into weed, as is almost stereotypical of poor people where I live. So I go into their house, again, tiny room, and get impregnated by the thick and sweet smell of cannabis. Great welcome. It was late at night so I didn't pay much attention to what was around (Except they had a friend over.) I picked up the case, which by the way, already had the side panel removed, and got back in the car. As soon as I get home, I pick it up and realize the case itself strongly smells of weed. This is when I start to joke around how "happy" I will feel when actually checking it out the next day. I woke up today, rather late, in fact, and my mother, a teacher, had to prepare a guy from the school for an upcoming chemistry exam. I had left the case on the table so she had to move it away for class time. Once he was gone, she told me what she had to deal with. Not only did the case STILL reek of weed, she found a condom wrap inside along with a bunch more trash. This managed to pique my curiosity so I got up. Sadly, I tend to have a bit of a shitty short-time memory so I forgot about it instantly and didn't see it. Until about 30 minutes ago, when I remembered it was still there and I needed to see it. So this is what I was greeted with: Yes. The HDD is not plugged, the PC has no RAM at all, AND there is a bunch of McD dressing wraps along with the remains of a seemingly fun time with a strange balloon. Now I have to fix it. I think the reason it won't turn on is the condom wrap is broken. Should I replace it maybe? Also, on a serious note, I hope to be able to get it working and cleaned. If I do, I will update this post. As for the replacing condom wrap question, I think it would be a funny little gag to leave a few condoms inside once it's repaired, see how they react.

I am stressed out, and just desperate. I've never seen anything like this. I started having a problem where my computer would turn off during games. They would be running completely fine, no stuttering or lag and then boom, graphics card turns off. I put my graphics card in another computer, and it ran fine, so I kind of guessed maybe it was my motherboard. I decided I wanted to upgrade anyways, so I'd go ahead and replace it, and get a new CPU since my i5 3470 socket 1151 was a bit out of date. I got an i7 4790k and an MSI Krait Z97S motherboard to replace my i5 3470 and Asus P8Z77-V Pro. Well I still had some weird bugs every now and then, but it ran okay. Then suddenly my graphics card started shutting off in GTA V and some other games. So I went ahead and said screw it. I replaced my R9 270x with an R9 380. It ran good for a month or so and then I decided I wanted to run rust, within 5 minutes of running the game, graphics card would shut down, black screens. Just like before. I'm getting super stressed at this point, because I'm out of money, and have been. I've blown every penny I have on replacement parts. I start trying to monitor my voltages, I don't see anything weird, but the recordings stop right before the shut downs. I buy a new power supply, and replace my Corsair 750 watt psu with a 750 watt EVGA one. Finally I've solved my problem. Until several days later when I'm playing battlefield, and I noticed at random times, my framerate drops hard. then recovers. I try playing Rust, and within minutes, my GPU shuts off. At this point I've realized I can recreate it by simply hitting run on Furmark. The moment I hit GPU stress test, the whole graphics card turns off. I decide I haven't tried a fresh windows install yet, and should have. So I do it. Fixes nothing. I unplug all my drives besides the boot drive, nothing. I replace all my RAM. Nothing. I start swapping parts, i5-3470, i7-4790k, i5-4570, 16 gigs 4x4 corsair memory, 8 gigs, 2x4 gig Hynix memory, R9 270x, R9 380, R7 260, Corsair PSU, EVGA PSU, Asus mobo, MSI mobo, nothing matters. Now sometimes on the MSI board it wont detect that anything is even in a PCIe slot, and it doesn't matter which slot its in on either board. The Asus one now randomly says shutting down at the bios for overcharge on USB, sometimes it says it, sometimes it doesn't. Ive unplugged all chasis USB, unplugged and swapped out all USB devices, booted without any USB devices, just like the MSI no PCIe card detected it's completely random. I've used different power cables, plugged in to different power strips, plugged in to different sockets in the house. I've tried running without any fans besides CPU one. I just have no idea what to do. I've tried everything, I've replaced everything, I even tried in a different tower, I've plunged myself in to debt on parts and Have enough for two full machines but have 0 combination of parts that work. When it decides to boot, I can pretty much do regular PC stuff, it's only if I try to run demanding games or if I run furmark. And even then, sometimes it will run either of those with seemingly no issue (rarely). Please, i'm desperate for someone to blow me away with something super obvious, I'm just worn out. And I can not afford to just build a 3rd computer. Side note I forgot to mention, I've also tried different driver versions for pretty much every device in my PC. It's also not heat related. I have adequate cooling and monitor my temps. My GPU doesn't really go over 68c and my CPUs will occasionally break 50c tops at 100% load. So quick summary. Graphics card keeps shutting off and having weird boot issues. I've replaced, CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU, GPU, OS, Case, fans, Power strip, power cable, wall socket, drivers with no fix.

I'm thinking of applying for a job a computer repair shop down the road from me. I've never been there before, since my dad and I have always done our own repairs (he majored in Comp Sci and works IT). I was wondering if I really have a chance at getting employed there. First, and most importantly, 16 on January 4th, and I have never had a job before. I think I have the knowledge to work there, but I'd like a second opinion. What should I make sure I know going into it? What kind of questions might they ask? Should I have some kind of resume, and what should I put on it?

I have been making craigslist posts recently that I do pc repair and custom PCs, and I have gotten a few clients, like 2 over the course of 2 months, but I feel like I could be getting more. Can anybody think of a way more effective, or just more ways to advertise that I do pc repair than craigslist?
