I just built my new PC and installed windows 11 pro on it, when I try to get into bios I can’t see any of the options because the artifact is so bad, but if I don’t hit the delete key and go to windows instead I have no artifact if at all. I have already updated my bios, chipset, and graphics card drivers along with trying another display port on my graphics card. My bios version is 7D91v14. My build is as follows. CPU: intel core i5 12600k GPU: msi 3060ti Ventus 3x OC LHR Motherboard: Msi mag z790 tomahawk ddr4 wifi Ram: Corsair vengeance lpx 2x8 gb 3200 MHz Storage: Samsung 980 pro 2tb 4.0 nvme m.2 ssd Cpu cooler: Noctua NH-U12a PSU: Corsair rm850x shift if you guys have any advice or ways to fix this that would be great, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Ok, so after been debugging trying to figure out why the CPU light is still red after getting my AMD Bootkit I requested to update my BIOS for my motherboard assuming that was the issue at this point, after installing the CPU and turning it on.. CPU LED still comes on. I have no idea what is wrong at this point in time. (Motherboard is gigabyte b450 aurous pro wifi) Here is the stuff I tried already Took 1 ram stick out Unplugged the power cord from motherboard and let it sit for a few minutes Reset the CMOS battery/taken it out and put back in I've resitted the CPU a couple times checking pins if they were bend, all are good. And yet all of this and still refuses to boot up at all. I tried putting my headphones in to see if it makes a beep noise and it does, a loud pitch one and then softly hums afterwards getting more pitched by the minute. I have a Ryzen 5500 but I read everywhere that says the motherboard I got requires a older CPU to update the bios which I requested from AMD to send me one and it came in yesterday and still CPU LED comes on. Maybe the wiring I did? I have the CPU cooler fans hooked to a splitter and is connected system fan pump and pump power to cpu-fan (did have it on system fan near it but was trying other stuff) I have my front fans panels connected to a splitter cable to cpu_opt and I got the pw, USB, and hd audio hooked to the correct spots. I have no idea if this is the issues in what I've tried but I've been trying for weeks now and still no luck Oh and my PC turns on after I press the switch on the power supply and not the power button on the case it did when I first booted the whole thing but now just when I turn the power supply switch on. The motherboard briefly flashes a white light and goes off, before when I first booted it a few times it did but now it doesn't, and I'm pretty sure I shorted my led on my CPU pump so yea there's that. If anyone can help please do! This is my first ever PC I'm doing my own build with my own parts picked!! (Here's a video on the boot situation when I turn it on, does this everytime) 987689068_VID-20221130-152236823(1).MP4

I don't know what to do anymore, even with a AMD Bootkit to help me boot into bios to update it, the light still comes on. Anyone really can understand what the issue is? I put my headphones on and the beep is a loud brief pitch following the turn on and I can hear it humming softly afterwards when it stays on after I turn it off it beeps again. Here is video (I do not have fans led setup yet) 1346339135_VID-20221130-152236823(1).MP4

Alright so my boss has some shitty old computers that aren't up to par. So I have the wonderful privilege of building a new pc for him. I just want some advice on picking the parts for it to see what other people could come up with. The machine is really only going to be used for Microsoft applications and surfing the web. the budget is 500-600. If anyone could chime in with the parts they would choose and where you would prefer to buy the components I would greatly appreciate it. I don't think we'd really need a GPU but if there's something cheap out there that will still fit in that budget feel free to throw it in. (we've got windows 10 for os already so that's covered) (we've got a mechanical hard drive and ssd so we're good on storage too) Motherboard cpu ram power supply pc case

Hey everybody, i'm trying to build a nice pc for €900,- without any peripherials, OS and GPU. This is what I came up with. Changes for this build are welcome as well. (not wanting to change this pc case, but in your own build you may recommend others) What can you guys come up with as a new build for the same money €900,- (max €1000,-) TL;DR Country: The Netherlands (use german pcpartpicker), Budget +- €900, gaming and programming, 1080p for now - future 1440p, no GPU/os/peripherals

pc link:https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/AVSHegdehog/saved/#view=MvJ7TW okay so the graphics card in the build is a Zotac - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB and it's about $407.92 usd is there a better graphics card I could use for about the same price? I want to play games like gta 5,r6s,cod,battlefield,apex legends, csgo (and maybe resident evil 7) on 144 fps on high settings would it be possible?

Hey all, my intentions with this pc build is mostly to accommodate some hefty CAD goals (mostly SolidWorks, but I use Rhino and Fusion 360 too) and potentially some video editing. From what I've gathered in the few hours of Linus' videos I've watched that means I'm likely leaning more towards a workstation build but I also want to get some gaming out of it. Most of my gaming sticks to my PS4 but there are some things like Super Smash Bros games that I'd like to run on Dolphin. My current setup is whatever comes standard in these Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 laptops. It's listed as a gaming computer but that's just a lie, I can't run Smash on Dolphin with anything higher than 12 fps (kinda tough to count frames when they're not there to see) and local Rocket League games on Steam run back and forth between 15 fps and 48 fps, but never predictably. It handles CAD pretty well but only on a small scale. Single parts with simple features compute pretty quickly, but even just making a gear with 47 repeated features sent my laptop into shock for about a minute. Assemblies are okay if kept under 10 parts, but beyond that rendering/loading times take a severe dive. So I've done a bit of research, tell me what you think and how wrong I am: CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X (12-core/24 thread) GPU: NVIDIA Quadro P2000 Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X399-E GAMING AMD Ryzen Threadripper TR4 DDR4 M.2 U.2 X399 EATX HEDT Motherboard with onboard 802.11AC WiFi, USB 3.1 Gen2, and AURA Sync RGB Lighting (I don't know where the title starts or ends with this thing) RAM: 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (DDR4) SSD: Samsung 860 EVO V-NAND 1TB PSU: EVGA 750 N1 Case: Corsair 750D Airflow Edition Cooling: A few fans from Noctua because of how quiet they are in reviews. I have not taken any thought to which keyboard to use (although I do like the feel of the keyboard on my Inspiron laptop) and I have this wonky, wireless, vertical ergonomic mouse from Anker that I'm a pretty big fan of. Last but not least, there's the whole monitor aspect of this rig. Try not to hate me for this: I don't mind running at 1080p and don't care for 4k graphics. That being said, I've done some design on a pair of inexpensive 32" TVs at 1080p and it made me very happy but I bought them used and they both died since then, very sad . I'm trying to keep the budget for this thing around $2000USD. The pc itself CANNOT exceed $2000 and I'm only looking to spend around $300 for the auxiliaries (keyboard, monitors, etc) but this price goal may be deranged, so let me know. Does this work? Does this not work? Please let me know. Thanks. P.S. I'm open to upgrading the rig in the future, but I want to get a solid base setup for now. Like I was talking about the gaming aspect of this computer, down the road I may purchase a more gaming-specific GPU, but for the initial build the P2000 checks off my task lists. Please give me suggestions for future upgrades as well. Since PCs and gaming are constantly evolving, I figure the rig will have to change every once in a while too.

Hello guys, Im pretty clueless about pc/pc building. So my pc is also a pre-build pc. Now i ran outof ssd storage (i have 240gb, plus 1tb hard disk). I have a m.2 slot on my ASUS prime b360 plus, and ordered a v-nand ssd 970 evo. I thought it would be as easy as turning off my pc, fully, and putting in the ssd strip in the m.2 slot. Then screwing it down to keep it in place, starting up my pc and acknowledging the ssd in the settings @ my pc in files. But i guess im wrong. I put the ssd in my m.2 slot, screwed it down, started my pc after all was in place. And my pc wouldnt boot. It just gave me a critical_service_failed windows message (with the :( smiley), after this (wich didnt last long, maybe 5-10sec) it went to a windows loading screen that said ''prepairing automatic repair''. I was clueless to what to do so i ofcourse started google-ing, couldnt really find a fix for my problem (none i understood at least). So i got into the bios, wich is the first time i have ever been in a bios at all. And looked at booting priority, because a friend suggested my pc might try to boot into the new ssd instead of the one my w10 is on. But this wasnt the case. He said it was like my pc didnt even recognize the ssd at all. Now i know this is a bit messy because i dont really know much about pc's/building pc's. And also english is my 2nd language. If anyone could help me or lead me in the right direction in any way that would be insanely apreciated! I can give more info if you need, just ask. Thanks, Maq/Joost

So, as you can probably tell by the title this is my first time building a PC. Currently I have a 7 year old Mac Pro (mid 2010) that struggles to run Minecraft at 60fps... so I think it's time for a upgrade! Currently I have an overpriced and 1080p @60hz moniter but I plan to get a 1440p @144hz g sync moniter soon, as my new PC will be built around 1440p @144hz. So far I have this build plan PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Cws4XH I want to be able to play Overwatch on hopefully max settings at 144fps on my 2k moniter. My main question is do I need a 1080 ti? Also the reason I'm going with the Asus motherboard over the As rock z370 extreme 4 is tbh the Aurasync lighting and it's the same story with the Rog Strix 1080. But I have found a build that won't look as nice but uses a 1080 ti so I was just wondering if the ti is needed or if I could stick with the prettier option. Here is the 1080 ti build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mNYMPs Also the monster is set to 0 dollars because I'm going to get it later for $400 on Amazon. Thanks! P.S I should stick with Intel instead of Ryzen right?

I've owned an emachines el1850-01e desktop for a few years (It was a birthday present). During highschool I began working with Photoshop and playing a few simple PC games, and it became evident that my desktop was not good enough to catch up. I soon got a laptop that ran much faster, but now that's beginning to fill up with a large number of programs that I use for art (Photoshop, After Effects, Blender, and other tools). I would like to bring my desktop back to life to make it my main work/gaming computer, but I know almost nothing about computers. I just need assistance picking out parts that I could replace in the PC. I want to use the upgraded PC for Painting, video editing, and games (don't need super high quality graphics, just stable and reliable). Budget: ≈<$700

Hello again I just purchased everything for my new build it should be here by the end of the week but I had a simple question. Would it be alright if I used the stock cooler on my cpu and not an after market because I dont plan on over clocking my cpu just running it at stock speeds.

So I need to know if I'll have any issues with this monitor for my pc. I'm worried that there is something I don't know about the monitor that will help.
