Hello everyone, In January I made a post on here about my PC getting loads of BSODs and I was able to fix it with the help of you all but after 2 months of not a single issue, I got a Windows update and now my PC is getting blue screens again. System serive exception almost always, and Irql not less or equal once are the error messages I've got. Previously I was able to fix my BSODs by turning off XMP and setting my Performance Core Ratio in Intel's XTU app to 55x because of an issue there is with the 14900k but now after this Windows update i'm getting them again. The time between each BSODs varies and it doesn't matter what i'm doing. Sometimes they happen in the same hour and sometimes there's a day without them. I could just be browsing the web or watching something, and they happen. Something else to note is that previously I crashed almost instantly when I entered any game, now games run fine. Just happens at random moments Also I tried the steps in the BSOD Posting instructions, the link there in method a didn't work so i looked it up and I think I got the correct thing. However I wasn't able to do the 'perfmon /report' step as it just stayed on 'Collecting data for 60 seconds' for more than 20 minutes. I've linked the zip file I got from the Sysnative program. After these BSODs all my lights in the pc go out of sync and I can't resync them, they just magically sync back together when they decide to. Also something maybe worth mentioning, like 3-4 times I got a 'CPU Fan speed error detected' when booting my pc, but when looking at the speed and graphs there seems to be no problem and everything is running normally. So I turned this warning off in the BIOS. Would really appreciate any help and thanks in advance! Hey everyone running into a random issue that started happening recently. My PC crashes at random where my monitors (dual) will just disconnect and audio completely stops. I've uninstalled windows and did a fresh install, uninstalled GPU drivers in safe mode using the DDU. Performed CMOS reset. Reverted everything back to default no undervolt or overclocks. Not sure what's causing the PC to do this. PC Specs: Gigabyte X570i 32 GB RAM DDR4 Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI RTX 4090 Gaming X trio 1000w PSU Machine is a custom liquid build but I do not see any signs of overheating. This happens very randomly. Sometimes PC will not have any issues for a whole week other times when the machine is at login it'll do it then. Or when im watching a youtube video maybe 15-20 minutes after machine booted. Very sporadic.

Hi, I need somebody's help, since about 1 or 2 weeks ago my pc just shuts down randomly, well, kinda; whenever I start gaming it just dies, here's what has been happening: A bit of context: A couple of weeks ago I upgraded my pc from a Ryzen 7 3700x to a 5800x and my gpu from a RX 580 to a RX 6800 XT. As part of that upgrade I also had to change my MoBo since my previous one (TUF x570 plus WiFi) apparently died so I replaced it with a ROG Strix x570 E-Gaming. I also installed an AIO cooler, Kraken M22 by NZXT and a couple of Phanteks RGB strips. The issue started presenting a couple of days before the upgrade. I haven't done any sort of OC to any component What I know about the issue: Whenever I start playing a game, after a few seconds or minutes the computer just dies, no blue screen, no event logs no nothing, it just crashes This has happened with a variety of games: SnowRunner, ATS, LoL, F1 2021 and also with the pc iddling, just downloading games via Steam The issue doesn't present every time I play, sometimes there's no issue, I just get to play normally but some other times it happens as soon as I initialize a game When it dies, it won't start just by pushing the Power Button again, I'd need to restart the PSU (turn it off, wait a couple of secs and turn it on again) so I can push the power button again In previous days the only event I could see in the Event Viewer was one related to a HID (compliant headset) not founding a proper driver (and I even got to see the driver issue in the DeviceManager), I had a HyperX cloud II headset connected at the time so I initially tried to upgrade/downgrade the headset firmware but it didn't worked so I just disconnected it and the log disappeared tho the shutting down issue is still here Since then, no logs appear when the pc crashes, there's just a couple error logs but related to the pc not shutting down properly, just that, no critical log nor anything. A couple of days ago my GPU started coil whining and just yesterday I noticed that whenever there was a load of >80% in the gpu the pc would crash. Though today, playing Lol, with a load of <40% it happened again. I tried taking my fans to 100% and also setting the GPU fans to be at 100% via MSI afterburner to avoid overheating of the GPU, the temperature never went above 60C and it still crashed I just updated the GPU drivers a couple of days ago, they're up-to-date now and also used CCleaner to remove any junk files. Based on what I've been digging thru the web some say that the issue might be related to the PSU not giving enough power to the components, I think 750W should be enough unless the PSU is failing already for some reason. I'm going to test with a 850W PSU today and update when that is done. Here's the specs for my PC: - MoBo: ROG Strix X570 e-Gaming - CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x - GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming RX 6800 XT - Storage: PNY CS900 240GB SDD (storing games), Intel 256 SDD (contains a Linux OS), 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD (storing games only), 1TB Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe SDD (OS lives here in a partition, another partition for a Linux OS) - PSU: ~2 year old EVGA 750 N1, 750W (FYI with a 2 year warranty) - RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 DRAM 3000Mhz - Fans and cooling: Artic P12 x 5 (3 intake 2 exhaust), NZXT Kraken M22 AIO - Case: Corsair 270R

Hello, today while playing COD warzone with my friends my pc crashed, no BSOD screen, it just turned off. The same thing kept happening while playing other games too like League Of Legends. I assumed it had something to do with my graphics card even though temps were fine on the CPU and GPU. After a cupule hours of trying to see what's causing the problem I transferred a folder with old photos from one SSD to an HDD. My pc immediately crashed again. I tried transferring the files to my m.2 drive and it crashed again. I thought that meant the problem was in the original SSD, so I did a file transfer from the HDD to the m.2, pc crashed again. So my pc crashes when large files are transferred between drives. Note: COD warzone is installed on the ssd (not the m.2) and LOL is installed on the m.2. My rig: gpu: AMD Radeon RX 5700 cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 3006X m.2: corsair Force MP510 240.0 GB (os) ssd: transcend TS512GSSD230S 512.1 GB hdd: WDC WD10EZEX-22MFCA0 1000.2 GB EDIT: I have a hard drive with a usb adapter that I keep movies and photos on. since I was afraid of losing files from my pc I wanted to back up some more photos. The second I plugged the usb (literally, it wasn't even all the way in) my pc crashed again (tried multiple times, same result).

So, the other night, I was playing the new black ops cold war. Suddenly out of nowhere, my PC just shuts off and reboots. This happened multiple times and there's no reason for it. I have tried EVERYTHING to figure it out and narrowed it down to RAM. I had 2 4gb sticks of RAM so 8gb total. I took one out... PC wouldn't even boot up. Put it back in and took the other out... PC booted up. Both Cold War and Photoshop would instantly shut my PC down on loading so I used them to test and they worked... no crash with only 4gb of RAM. I thought it was that one stick so I bought a 32GB set of Klevv CRAS X DDR4 3600mhz RAM (x2 16gb) and thought it'd work. Put them in today, it booted up, everything was great! But now... It crashed almost an hour later. What could be the cause? There is nothing visible to me that is broken and nothing flagging up on the system. I don't know what to do anymore and I am really upset as I use this PC to chase my dream career and can't afford to buy a new one. This is my last hope. If anyone can help or has any idea what to do, that'd be great. I can't take it to a shop as they're all closed during lockdown. The videos show is crashing and what it was like before I got the new RAM. But even now, it is still crashing. Just not as fast. Here are my PC stats if it helps at all... Model: ADMI Gaming PC Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Graphics Card: Radeon RX 580 Series Motherboard: PRIME A320M-R RAM: 32GB KLEVV CRAS X RGB 3600mhz DDR4 video-1605564542.mp4 video-1605564544.mp4

Just want to ask that what could be the possible fault in GPU? Bios chip corrupted? Or any other fault? I have 1080Ti and it randomly gives black screen. · I did Furmark for more than half an hour it didn't crash. · Firestrike Extreme with above 12.5k score didn't crash. · Superposition on 8K above 30Fps and above 4.2k score didn't crash. · It does not crash in games also. After all the effort what I found is that if I disable hardware acceleration in MS Word, Photoshop etc it stops crashing. While it crashes with those applications even if I am not using them it usually crashes without load on desktop screen, using MS Word, chrome and even some times without using anything it crashes. The point is that it do not crashes on load rather crashes without any load. Hardware Acceleration Enabled: Crash Hardware Acceleration Disable: No crash I tried it on 4 different systems and it crashed on all of them while other Rpm work fine on those systems. Just want to ask that what could be the possible fault in GPU? Bios chip corrupted? Or any other fault?

Hi guys, my pc have been crashing lately while I play game, it's not like it shuts down immediately it takes some time maybe 30min and then it shuts down. I've tired reinstalling Windows 10 didn't work and I've also tried reinstalling the drivers for the graphic card it didn't work either. My PC Specs: CPU- Intel i5 4660 Motherboard- Gigabyte H81MS RAM- 8GB Hyper X Graphic Card- GTX 960 (inno 3D) Power Supply- Corsair VS450 I first thought that it was some graphic card problem but it did not show any error code, so I guess it was not the fault of my graphic card. Please help me.

What happens when it freezes: keyboard and mice light just shut off like power went out but pc fans aso spin on. Hi guys, I have a somewhat a weird problem after changing my PSU. I already searched ton of threads regarding similar issues that people experienced but none seems to be a fix to my case what so ever, so I decided to make my own thread and provide you as many details that I can. First things first I bought this PC fully built back in 2016. Its a mid range gaming pc that was pretty good deal in terms preformance > price. And indeed it was great while it worked properly, but after somewhat 2 - 2 and a half years after purchasing I experienced auto shutdowns and restarts if I turn on some heavy load or bump up the graphics options in some of the games ( ex. Fortinte, PES 2020, even Ring of elysium the battle royale...). This never ever happened to me before as I could run the battlefield 1 on ultra without any issues or shutdowns, only somewhat higher temps obviously but all in range of safe usage. So after some online research I found that 90% of the people fixed this issue by changing their PSU, but before I did that I tried every single alternative option in hope I would not need to buy a new one, but unfortunately none of the tricks & tips from google worked. So I decided to ignore that problem and get used to running things on low - medium and render videos in 720p instead of 1080p because 1080p would crash it aswell. But few days ago I finally decided enough is enough and I will buy a new one and fix this issue once forever... ...and it didnt turned out as I planned, what happened is my PC now sometimes turns on for a minute or two, sometimes for 30 seconds but most of the time its turns on for a fraction of a second and shuts down in attempt to try to boot again but longer I allow it to do this the quicker it restarts and after 2 attempts the only thing left lighten up is my main PC tower power button...now this is very depressing, frustrating and mind buggling because it seems like I fucked up my pc totally by trying to fix it. I will now list of the things I tried to do so far ( before I quited messing with it ) List of things before I changed the PSU I checked my temps while under load GPU would hang around 65C-73C max and CPU would be around 33C- 43C ( new cooler ) 39C - 48C ( stock intel cooler ) Reinstall Windows OS ( 2x times ) Deleted all my GPU drivers with DDU and cleaned %temp% ( temporary files ) Cheched for viruses, none found Tried plug/unplug PSU cables and reseating GPU Changed thermal paste to the CPU Bought new cooler for CPU and messed a bit to get better airflow, temps are just where I want them to be now. Reseted BIOS settings to default factory settings Updated BIOS Updated all windows updates Underclocked my card, after that didnt worked I also tried to overvolt it and undervolt it, I am was basicaly desperate at this point so I tried everything that I could I tried to plug my power outlet directly to the wall PRIME 95 cpu stress test all cores max temp of 45C and it did not crash the system FURMARK gpu stress test for 1080 predefined profile PC crashed immedietly I didnt even saw anything, it crashed as soon as I clicked GO! at this point I gave up None of these worked so I gave up and got used to run things on lower load than I would prefer. ( low settings ...blabla ) Here is a list of things I tried after I changed PSU and my PC denied to boot properly Checked and plug/unplugged all the cables from the PSU Reseated Both RAM sticks and tested it with each one and in each socket Cleaned some dust leftover Messed up with cable managment but I did a good job so I didnt got to do much more Pluged and unpluged cables from PSU Reseated GPU Changed CPU thermal Paste again Managed to get to the bios once and saw that CPU rendering cool 24C idle so no its not overheaeting issue Reseted CMOS Battery, I waited 30 min before returning it back inside Reseated GPU again...lol Tried running it without GPU Turned it on with only power outlet .....I think thats about it The funny thing is when I change sockets in my extended power cord it runs for a longer time same happens if I plug it to the wall, but if I try the socket I already tried it boots for a second and resets, If I let it stay overnight and come back it runs for a much longer time. Motherboard works fine everything else works fine and is powered all the lights show on each device ( mouse, keyboard, monitor ), but it denies to boot properly. I know this is plenty of text, but I wanted to provide you guys with as much detail that I possibly could in hope I will be able to fix this problem anytime soon. Below are my PC specifications GPU: XFX AMD RX 480 8GB stock clock memory 1288mhz , vram 2000mhz CPU: intel i5 6500 four cores 3.2ghz RAM: 2x 8gb hyper X so in total I have 16gb of ram MOTHERBOARD: gigabyte ultra durable h110m HARD DRIVE: 1x Toshiba 1tb OLD PSU: EPS ENERGON 650W semi - modular NEW PSU: CORSAIR CX650W semi-modular OLD CPU COOLER: stock intel cooler NEW CPU COOLER: Cryorig h7 PC CASE: COOLER MASTER K380 MID-TOWER I dont want to make this any longer now I honestly think this is more than enough for you to come up with some ideas regarding what should I do....dayum. Thank you guys for all the efforts and suggestions, means alot :)

I built my pc 6 months ago it was my first build. I had just recently bought the new Call of Duty game and today I was playing when it suddenly crashed it sent me to a blue screen that said " Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart." after letting it sit for about 5 minutes it froze at 70% so I just turned the PC off. After turning it on instead of showing the Windows log in all i got was a message saying my monitor could not pick up a signal from the GPU. I restarted my PC again, checked the hdmi cables connecting my GPU to the pc, and removed and reseated the GPU and I still have a "no signal" message. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank You. PC Specs: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 MOBO - MSI B450M Bazooka V2 GPU- Zotac GeForce GTX 1660 RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) STORAGE - Samsung 860 EVO SSD (500GB) , WD Blue SSD M.2 (250GB)

Hi, I have ryzen 3700x with gigabyte x570 elite and a 16gb of patriot 3600mhz memory. I recently updated my bios to F30a, and my audio is cracking and sometimes the pc reboots when hit with 100% load. The PC worked flowlessly for over 4 months now but suddenly it keeps crashing. IDK what causes the problem, please help me out. I even "reupgraded" the bios to the version F20, because i don't have the F13 bios files that was before on it, and I didn't want that old version on it. PS: not the PSU is the problem

Hi. I was wondering why my graphics output crashes every time I run fortnite. I still hear music, sound, and other response back through sound but the display output just goes blank. I have a GTX 1070 ti and an i7 7700k with h100i v2 water cooling so cooling is not an issue. I have corsair link pulled up at all times on my second monitor just to monitor the temps. I have the latest graphics installed, uninstalled fortnite, then reinstalled fortnite then reinstalling the graphics drivers. Nothing. Please Help

So my problem is a bit complicated. For a few months my PC has been crashing for the first time i start a game on a session, meaning after 1 restart it was normal again. Last week my PC has been crashing every time i start a game and sometimes on idle. So i made a post on the LTT forums and after some opinions i decided to get a new HDD. I now have a new HDD with a clean install of everything. And the problem isn't solved. Specs: CPU: I7 4700K (3.5Ghz) SKT 1150 Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 RAM:Corsair KIT 16GB DDR3 1600MHZ GPU: EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX Dual Bios 2GB Case: Zalman Z11 Plus Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm PSU: XFX Pro750w 80+ Bronze Display(s): Asus VX238-0 + and old Samsung tv as a secondary Cooling: Corsai H80i Keyboard:Random Mouse: Razer Naga 2012 Sound:Hyper X Cloud II OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit This is what i know: Before the 10 min of run time mark on any game it starts to stutter and crashes (sometimes i have to force shutdown). Rarely it happens on idle, i have had it happen right after i restart it after a crash (after i replaced my HDD and did a clean install). CPU temps are very good and GPU temps on load are 68/73 C I ran Cinebench and 20s into the CPU benchmark it started stuttering for 5s then proceeded normally.(results attached) I ran Heaven Benchmark 4.0 and it ran normally. (results attached) I had my second monitor (Samsung tv) unplugged from the PC for a few days before i got the new HDD and the clean install and unplugged after the new HDD until i had a bunch of crashes and ran benchmarks (i plugged it in to have task manager on it to monitor performance during benchmarks), and now its all f"ed up but when i take a screenshot it looks normal (tv works fine with other stuff).(photo of the tv attached and print screen attached) I did a full clear of Nvidia drivers and did clean installation of them and changed nothing. I saw that someone had a similar issue and solved it by unparking their CPU cores so i did and nothing changed. I don't know what to do and what is wrong and i basically have no money...for mow i mainly want to identify the actual problem so i can see if there's any chance of me being able to afford fixing it. Thank you for your time, Lucas Granato

Recently my Gaming rig has been undergoing an issue where in video games, whether it be a AAA title or something easy to run such as Counterstrike, just freezes, it does not blue screen, or turn off, it literally just freezes forcing me to cycle the power supply and restart, ONE time it went to blue screen and it gave me an error code which I then looked up and found it could be related to my graphics card, I then proceeded to record the window while running MSI Afterburner and found my GPU temps warmer than usual, I simply requested an RMA from MSI and sent in my GTX 970 for RMA, I then proceeded to put in my EVGA GTX 950 in for the time being and it was running perfectly at first (about a week and a half) and then the graphics card began to have problems, I was getting the same error code and it wouldn't hard freeze so much, it would blue screen with that same code.. This got me searching on this problem more and I spoke to some people who told me the CX power supplies can be faulty! (Explains why a semi-mod bronze rated 500w psu was at such a low price) and it got me thinking if it could be a problem with my power supply, I called corsair and the Support I talked to told me it most likely is underloading, do I absolutely HAVE to RMA for this? or Is there something that I could do myself, I don't have a backup PSU to put in so sending in mine for RMA would Render my PC useless for a bit and I use my PC for work, Please Help!

I ordered 2-8gb sticks corsair Dominator platinum ram. In a 16-gb pack 3200-mhz. To replace my other memory of 2133mhz. same 8x2gb. After install had to boot to bios, and change 2133 to 3200 for it to start to boot up, but kept crashing. So i changed processor to 4ghz and tried. Worked Then after working for about 20-minutes started crashing again... So went back to bios, changed processor to 3.8 that didn't work. So I changed Ram to 26 something. Now it's working. But who knows for how long. This is my first build. These are 3200mhz sticks. So I do not understand why it keeps crashing. Any help is much appreciated. This PC is 780T case, MSI Gaming 7 x99a mobo, 5820k cpu with h100i cooler, 2-980ti 6gb hybrids, 2-480 gb hyper x savage ssds raid 0, a wifi card, ram is listed above. Corsair Platinum HX1000i psu. Everything has worked perfectly for 2-weeks till changing memory today.
