Backstory to this: I was up Playing Helldivers 2 with some friends around 5am. I restarted my system, and now my SSD won't show up at all. I've currently ran through a troubleshooting guide (https://4ddig.tenorshare.com/hard-drive/fix-ssd-not-showing-up-in-windows-10.html) I've already done the following: check if SSD SATA cable was loose Configured BIOS Updating SSD Drivers (which was already up to date) Honestly don't know what to do, and just really need some help with this. I know this isn't like a tech support forum or something like that but it'd be nice getting help from others thanks to anyone that can help!

GPU:2070 super aorus CPU:5960x Ram:16GB 2133 so to give you some background information i upgraded my CPU from a 5820k to a 5960x a few months ago, I updated the bios then but the technician that helped me with the swap damaged my ram slots during the swap and I had to downgrade from 32gb to 16gb because 2 of my ram slots got damaged. a few weeks ago out of the blue my pc crashed and wouldn't boot into windows anymore so i figured maybe windows had gotten corrupt for some reason so I reinstalled windows and formatted all drives. this seemed to work since it was all working fine for weeks then all of a sudden it happend again so i figured my SSD must be the issue and swapped it out and it was fine for a few days but it happened again now. the crash doesn't seem to be related to the load since I can run a stress test for 10 mins on all components and all is fine but as soon as i open a game or even double click on a youtube video it crashes . sometimes it even crashes as soon as the windows loads. I got a bluescreen a few of the times and the error was WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR i ran the windows memory test and it was all fine, i ran multiple disk checks and all seems to be fine, heaven benchmark ,3d mark and aida 64 all ran great without issues. I tried removing the gpu drivers and reinstalling it but it didnt fix it, temps never go up too much as i have multiple fans and a NH d-14 cpu cooler. as I said previously I updated bios when upgrading the CPU I am starting to loose my mind Please Help

I'll start off with the spec of the build- i3-10100f. rtx 3060ti(yes its a bottleneck saving up for an i7). gigabyte mobo not completely sure what it is. 24gigs of 3200mhz corsair ram (8+16). gigabyte gold 750w psu. Additional info- gpu max temps at 99% load - 70 degrees. cpu temps at max temp for 30 minutes or more - 60degrees(turboing at 4ghz). maximum cpu usage while playing forza - 60-75% maximum gpu usage while playing forza - 70-99%(it appears to be the usual usage for most graphic heavy games and I haven't faced issues while playing demanding games like cyberpunk and re4) the issue- I downloaded forza horizon 5 recently and have been facing an issue where the game randomly freezes and the pc then shuts off. After this happening twice i tried alt+f4ing the game when it crashes and it works pc doesn't shut off, but today while i was playing the game i was listening to some music and then the game crashed and the music started stuttering then i was spamming alt+f4 then the music kept playing then when i stopped it started stuttering, after that i kept alt+f4ing until the game closed. This happened in another game i can't remember i think it was elden ring but it never happened again, any idea what this is? Thanks.

My pc keeps crashing it can get up to 40x a day it usually say system service exeption watchdog violation irql not less or equal the only way I had stopped it was by leaving a game running in the background where it would reduce the crashes by 90. Percent however I reset my pc and it’s doing the same thing and I’m sick I’ve spent hundreds of pounds to a pc repair shop and they said it was the psu hhd and that I didn’t have a windows 10 key which I all had to buy of him which came to around 300 pounds and it’s still happening it’s a nightmare for me as it’s very hard to do my school work as it’s the constant crashes and if I go on YouTube I always get a error code status Acces violation. I’ve watched hours of videos to try and fix it and still nothing I NEED HELP. My specs are 16gb of ram Corsair and ryzen 5 3500 and 1660 super please help me it’s also sometimes does not give me the BSOD it goes straight o black no text and reboots

Hello everyone! So i built myself a new gaming pc 3 months ago and while I am paying games the pc shuts down instantly (no BSOD) and starts automatically. I started noticing when exactly it is shutting down, It does that when the GPU isn't that loaded especially in warzone while connecting for a match or in league (generally not a demanding game). I tried soo many things but none of them worked. Help would be highly appreciated !! Specs: GPU: PowerColor RX 580 8GB CPU: I5-10400f with a better cooler MB: Z490-a pro RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8 3200mhz PSU: Kolink KL-850M although it says 850 wats I believe its 750w Note: The PC isn't overheating. GPU and CPU don't go over 60 most of the time. Max I've seen it go to 70 degrees Celsius DxDiag.txt

My Custom PC after a few months has screen freezes, but audio is still present and I can still move the mouse but unable to click anything. I've tried opening task manager using keyboard shortcuts but even that doesn't work, the screen completely freezes only leaving the mouse and audio running. I've cleared temp files, checked BIOS and Driver updates, but it still happens. How can I fix this? or what would be the possible problem?

Hi all, I am hoping some one can help me I am getting really sick of these crashes given it's a nice headset when it's not crashing my PC I was hoping someone can help me fix the problem. G hub is upto date and the firmware of the headset is upto date. I have tried reinstalling g hub and the headset driver multiple times. I see over the years that people have had the same issues: https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/q9b7gq/logitech_g_prox_headset_hid_crash/ https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/khrkwv/g_pro_x_causing_random_windows_crashrestart/ https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/dg1hi8/logitect_pro_x_headset_crashing_windows_10/ https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/lmf4zc/logitech_g_pro_x_crashing_pc/ https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/mtavd8/pro_x_headset_driver_crashing_my_pc_when_playing Thanks in advance.

Okay so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right topic/forum (I'm new to this). THIS WILL BE LONG BUT PLEASE READ AND HELP ME. I'M BEGGING!! Specs: Mobo - Asus B550-F Gaming (Non Wifi) CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x GPU - Asus ROG STRIX RTX 3060 RAM - Trident Z Neo 3600mhz cl-18 (2x16gb) SSD- 1 tb Samsung Evo 970 PSU - EVGA 750watt 80 plus gold So I'll just give a run down of what has happened since I built my PC in July of this year. I'm a first time builder and needless to say the built came out good with no issue. The only issue I found was the LAN port of the MOBO (intel i225V) I bought a cheap PCIE LAN card and it worked perfectly . I overclocked my CPU (Ryzen Master Precision Boost) and my GPU ( MSI Afterburner where I maxed the power limit and fan speeds. I applied a little lower than the settings that Jayztwocents used on an EVGA 3060 in his YT Vids. I ran benchmarks and no issue, no crash. I ran Warzone, Apex, Fortnite, Splitgate, Rocket League, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro without an issue. Not a single crash. A month into the build (August) Any game that used Unreal Engine 4 just wouldn't work. No Splitgate, Fortnite or any game that used unreal engine 4. I got hyped for bloodhunt which was using unreal engine, so I reset my PC, the windows reset I mean, I saved my personal files and booted with no issue. Another month passed (September) and Bloodhunt released (Horribly optimized) and I played the game for around 3 weeks. Suddenly my pc began to slow down. my photoshop and premiere pro were sluggish and booting into the game was meh.I uninstalled bloodhunt and the issue was still there. Suddenly one morning, I pressed my power button, the pc would start and 5 seconds later it would shutdown not even finishing to post. This happened for 5 times and I unplugged and plugged the cord in, switched the psu power button on and half and then tried again and it turned on and ran alll day long and all night. No issue what so ever until I turned it off and came back on the following day and the same issue happened. The PC would choose when it wanted to turn on. It took around 2 seconds from pushing the on button to it being turned off again and it was just a cycle. I decided to keep the pc on at all times and the funny thing is that I could turn it off and put it on right after ( 5mins, 10 mins, and 30 mins later) with no issue. The issue came when I left it off for more than 4 or 5 hours. I finally decided to reset my PC again and download all my softwares. It worked for a day or two and then the cyle of me pushing the power button every 5 seconds started again. It came to a point where it just wouldn't turn on SO I opened my PC and decided to take out my ram and put it back in. I then proceeded to turn on my pc and it kept it's power BUT there was no post whatsoever. No QLEDs like a usual post process and the rgb from my ram was off (They always turn on). Now my pc turns on but does not post or even starts the post process. I took out the 2 ram sticks and tried one ram stick at a time. still no post and rgb is off. I proceeded to remove my aio and took out my CPU. checked for bent pins and found non. I applied new thermal paste and put it all back together ( I did not tighten the AIO alot because I heard it can cause issues with the ram). AND to no avail, there was no post still or any post process. I reseated my GPU and got the same results. I removed all the wires and opened the back of my o11 dynamic and proceeded to take out every thing and properlyconnect and arranged the cables so the wires wouldn't touch the MOBO because I read that it can be shorting it if they touch. I removed my extension cables and used the default EVGA cables. AND to no avail, the same results. I decided to remove the CMOS battery and reset it using the screwdriver on the pins. I put everything back together included the battery and the PC turned on but the RAM rgb was flickering and no post. I left it there took a 10 minute shower and came back, the lights for my RAM was on. I force shut down the PC with PSU switch because the front panel button doesn't work in this current state of no post. SO I turned it back on and it took a while but it worked and got back in (QLED stayed on the RAM indicator for a hot minute and then continued the post process like usual). I enabled XMP but I did not OC my CPU and GPU. I played apex all day and went to sleep. the following morning on the cold boot, the same issue again. SO Back to square one, No post or post process, RAM rgb is off. I assumed it was my front panel because the light on the power button is constantly flicker blue to red when i have my pc on (this has been the case since i built the pc but there was never an issue so I didn't mind it). I started turning on the pc by using the screwdriver on the power pins. Still no post. I came to the conclusion that the PC would post only after resetting the CMOS so I did it again and the PC turned on but posting got stuck on the RAM QLED and never moved. I said bet its a RAM issue for sure. I turned off the PC and held the cmos pins with the screwdriver for 10 seconds. turned it on and it posted. I decided not to enable XMP and got into windows. It was late and I had work so I turned off the PC once I knew I could boot (I assumed the ram could not handle xmp again). The following morning (today) I turned it on before work to see it work (IT DID NOT). and now i don't know what to do. IDK if it's the PSU, RAM, MOBO. But I can guarantee I can have it boot if I reset my CMOS. Today after work I will try a clean installation of windows from a USB drive and hope it's Windows that is messing me up because of the 2 resets I've done in the past I WILL TAKE ANY AND ALL ADVICERIGHT NOW. If it's a hardware issue I need to find out what is exactly causing it to replace it.

hello, for a few days now my pc crashes. just turns off. I have watched every guide on YouTube on how to get dump files and i followed every instruction. including creating a paging file. still cannot find anything. today it happened twice. once when I played league of legends. the other time was a bit suspicious, I was trying to open a folder called "logs" in the windows folder on the file explorer, it said I didn't have permission and asked if I want to give myself permission. the second I clicked ok the pc turned off again. I checked temps, everything looked fine. reinstalled windows, and even swapped a SSD to a new one and installed a fresh windows there. still same problem. my system : cpu ryzen 5 3600x gpu : rx 5700 mother board us tuf b450-plus gaming psu : coolermaster 650W gold. 16 gb ram 3200 mhz hyperx it happened again, 3 times in a 10 minutes window, I didn't do anything special . when I turned on my pc, steam and Spotify logged me out. that's leads me to believe its a software issue.

(FOA sorry for my bad english) i had this pc for a year now and for no reason he started having some problem. One morning I tried to turn my pc on and the power button was doing nothing, although the leds on the motherboard was still on (the leds that are on even if the pc is off). So I plugged everything out of the io and took the case panel out to see if everything is plugged ok. After I sow everything is ok inside the case I plugged it back to the monitors and my mouse and keyboard and it booted perfectly. So after it booted I set down and worked as usual (maybe used some office, chrome and Spotify) and for no reason the pc fully turned himself off and the power button wasn't working again. Now its work only if I pull the power cord out and plug it back in and it work only for random amount of time, it worked once for 2 seconds and on the second attempt it worked for 9 hours. on the 9 hours attempt I tried to stresses test it to see if its an power consumption problem, I opened premier pro and Ableton live projects and exported and in the same time I played something on the oculus quest air link. and it kept working. btw while i stressed tested it i checked the components temperature and it was all fine Specs: Ryzen 3700x 16gb ram hyperX 3200mhz Palit gtx1080 Asus b450m tuf plus Couger gx-f750 windows 10 64b I use triple 2k monitor setup I truly need you guys/girls help rn as I need this pc for work an for studying. Tnx for any help that may come and long live pcmr. UPDATE i just noticed that even after i pull out the power cord, the motherboard LEDs dont turn off for about a minut, and the power button wont work until the LEDs are fully turned off.

Hello, Recently I have been very frustrated with the seemingly random hangs, crashes, and even (more recently) restart loops that I have been expereiencing with my system (1 month old system). I have tried to do some reaseach but with no success, likely due to not understanding which direction to look into. For this reason, I request any and all help that might help me sort this out! PC specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6 cores @ 3.6 Ghz Processor coolers for AMD Processors: Cooler Master TX3 Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi + Bluetooth GPU: AMD Radeon 5700 8GB The memory: Corsair Memory (3200Mhz) Corsair Vengeance (3200Mhz): 16 GB Memory PSU: Seasonic Core Gold GC 650 Watt Startup Disk: 500 GB Samsung 970 Evo Hard drive storage: 1 TB Normal storage Operating System: Windows 10 Home English Description: Since the first time the system began crashing I did a clean installation of windows. From there it operated fine for a day or so. However, it then randomly hanged yet again. I have noticed that in the motherboard the debug LEDS are RED sometimes but they are very inconsistent. They will always trigger on a crash. On some boots 2 LEDs are Red, on other boots only 1. Usually rebooting gets rid of them however, the system will seemingly work fine with any of these scenarios (that is untill a crash which might take minutes, or even hours). I have run strain tests, and CPU tests, and the system performed fine during the roughly 10 to 15 minutes that it took. However, I have noticed ever since I switched the power profile to high performance it has began to have hangs more often. Although its weird because I can be playing a very demanding video game and the system will not crash, and then when im simply browsing firefox it will crash. Today I had a system crash followed by a restart locked loop that I only managed to break after a forced shutdown. Please find attached a screenshot. I would really appreciate any technical input and guidance on how to proceed to attempt and solve this issue. Thank you all for reading. Kind regards, Pedro

Hi there, Recently I my pc crashed and restarted. I was watching tv series and my feet accidently shook the table. My cpu was shaken and I'm using a surge protector as well. The pc just got stuck for a while and restarted. It was restarting very slowly and the windows loading was just keep going. So I switched off the PC and turned it on and after that everything was normal. But is this something I should be worried about? Can this damage my PC if I somehow again accidently shake my table? I think mostly this happened because the power source of my pc was disturbed for a sec but is there any other possible reason for this? I don't think my cables are lose I checked those. My specs: Motherboard: MSI b450 Tomahawk max GPU: ASUS GTX 750 TI OC PSU: Corsair CX550 Thanks

I have been getting this issue since last month. My pc randomly freezes and screen goes black. Without hard reboot it stucks like that. After rebooting my display driver temporarily disables itself and after another normal restart the pc works normal until the next freeze which randomly occurs. The issue doesn't happens during specific app or state, it is completely random, sometimes when i browse through internet via chrome, sometimes when its idle. I've sent my motherboard(tufb550plus) and ram sticks(4x8gb3200mhzcorsair) to the service and they didn't find any problems. I don't trust the service's work since they only updated bios and sent it back to me but i already updated the bios before i sent the motherboard to the service. So i think problem might still be motherboard but not sure. I also stress tested both gpu and CPU and they seemed working fine at leat for 15 minutes under stress. I repeatedly did the test and didn't get any errors. I also replaced all the drivers and even i reinstalled a clean windows. I don't have any spare parts to replace neither so i am confused which part to replace first. PSU: Corsair RM750 80+ Gold CPU : ryzen 5 3600 GPU : rog strix rx 5600 xt Motherboard : tuf b550 plus Ram : corsair 4x8 gb 3200 mhz ddr4 M2 ssd : james donkey 500 gb And i am using two screens one of them is msi g241 (main one) the other one is old samsung led monitor(vga socket so im using hdmi switcher). Note: i have been using this setup for almost two years and i didn't get such erros but after i moved to new apartment the issue started. Only thing that changed was my apartment. A friend told me the power instability might be the reason for this kind of issue but i am not sure about this either. So please help if you have any idea. I am running out of options and replacing the whole system one by one is very expensive for me at the moment.

Hi! I built my computer about christmas time last year. Lately (about once a day) ive been having a problem where the pc just chrashes/turns off without warning and no blue screen. And to power it up again i would have to turn the psu of and on. Yesterday i took some stuff apart to see if any cables or if the RAM sticks were lose or not put in the right way. But from what i could see that wasnt the problem. I have also tried going in to the event viewer in windows but couldnt find anything out of the ordinary there. It just says "the pc shut down unexpextedly" The pc is not suffering from overheating aswell. Should i try replacing the PSU and rebuilding the system? I have also tought about replacing my m.2 boot drive as i took that one from my old pc wich was old and wasnt the best. Theres no specific time for when the crashes happen. I could be watching youtube or gaming. Its very random Can someone give me some advice on what to do here? I recently got in to PC hardware and dont know alot about it All answers are appreciated! PC specs: - CPU: AMD ryzen 5600x - CPU cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT / 240mm - Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING - GPU: Radeon RX 6600 XT Speedster SWFT 210 - RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB LED Pro Black DDR4 3200MHz 2x8GB - PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold Fully Modular 750W V2 - unbranded old old m.2 boot drive 250 GB I think i got most stuff here

Hey guys, my friend from the big North (Canada) and she has a problem with her computer that we can't seem to figure out. I tried to help her as well as some other friends but she's still having issues so I thought I would reach out here and see if I can get some other opinions. Her PC Specs: - AMD Ryzen:tm: 5 3600 Processor - Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro Ax - AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT - T-Force Delta DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 - Seagate Firecuda 1TB 2.5" & WD Black 500gb M.2 - Windows 10 Pro - Case: Inwin A1 Plus Pink with built in 650w 80+ gold PSU The Problem: "A few weeks ago I updated my GPU driver and then installed Fortnite & I have been having problems ever since. Initially after 2-3 games in a row, my screens would freeze and then start to artifact which would make me force shut down. I uninstalled the drivers using DDU in safe mode and reinstalled a newer version. That seemed to be the last of the artifacting. But then after playing more rounds of Fortnite (and other games), my PC would lock up and I would have to force reboot. I did a clean install of windows, but now even when I'm just watching a stream or browsing the internet, my main monitor will go black and my 2nd monitor will freeze for about 2 minutes before shutting off, but I can still hear the video/game in the background, and my friends can still hear me if I'm in a call with them. Yesterday, I swapped GPUs with a friend (he gave me his 5700 xt) but just today my pc crashed 3 times when I was using Adobe Lightroom, and he has had no issues with my GPU in his PC. Weirdly enough this last time crashed, my main monitor went black but I could still use my PC on my second monitor, it was just really laggy. I've monitored the temps the past few weeks and they have always been stable. i also got the BSOD prior to reinstalling Windows when I was just browsing the internet, which gave me the stop code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA" This is what we've had her do (to no avail): - DDU in safe mode and updating to newest drivers/or multiple versions of older drivers that were stable - Stress tests for CPU/GPU for 45-60 mins each (FurMark and Unigine Heaven) - 2 pass memtest for RAM & windows memory diagnostic for RAM - no errors were found - moving games from HDD to the SSD and testing to see if it's a problem with the hard drive, but the PC would still crash - complete fresh install of Windows - cleaned PC - reseated GPU - completely disconnected HDD from the system and checked if that was the source, but the PC would still crash - Tried disabling XMP - Repaired system files using SFC & DISM

Hello, I have been having this issue for a week or two where my PC restarts mid gaming, Sometimes it restarts as soon as I start a game, sometimes after 2-3 hours. I already tried various things such as swapping my PSU, GPU I also tried Updating my GPU Drivers and Chipset Drivers.. But none of them seem to make a difference. But the thing is when I try stress testing my CPU and GPU everything works perfectly meaning it doesn't reboot or shutdown. I did many times same result. I can't say if this is a software issue or motherboard. SPECS: Core i5 6400 rx560 16GB RAM (forgot the exact name) Thermaltake Litepower 550W PSU Games tested on: Rainbow Six Siege A way out Farcry 4 Farcry 5 Benchmarked on: Benchmark Heaven Cinebench

I did not have any issues since the Reinstall until today. Today I got 2 BSOD again the same error codes I do not know what caused this issue to happen and why it suddenly started again today. I have tried a lot of different things but none of them seemed to work. Does anybody have any ideas that I could try and do? My PC was working fine for like 1 week until it started crashing again for no reason. What could the problem be? so long story short, I had to do a factory reset on my PC to solve an issue I had with an application. Since having done that factory reset, every time I turn my PC on, windows tries to update. once the update is finished, my PC restarts and I get a black screen where I should be getting the login/pin screen to get to my desktop. So I restart my computer and it goes into "automatic repair" and undo's the update and I can get back to my desktop. Any idea as to whats going on?
