Hello there, i "recently" build myself a pc. Now i am facing the Question if i should change my 360mm AIO which is mounted in the fron to a 240mm or 280mm AIO which would be mounted on top. I have an Intel I7-13700KF, an RTX4070 TI and a Corsair 4000d as a case. The reason why i am thinking about changing it is because i heard you can get better graphics card temps and not have such high cpu temps even after the change... Do you guys have any rekommandation or even experience when it comes down to something like that? Thanks in advanced Herbs

Budget (including currency): N/A Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Max settings Streaming and Gaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 1. I am upgrading from a x62 Kraken 240mm AIO. 2. I am planning to buy it within the next few hours. 3. 1080p streams and at 60fps. Monitor :1080p 240hz. I am planning to upgrade my coolers because when running my stream at max settings. The stream starts frame skipping and when I check the stats in MSI afterburner it shows that my CPu Usage is below 50% But the temp is around 80 to 83. Which is consider above the Ryzen Master recommended temp for it. I am guessing its because of thermal throttling? Any advise would do thank you so much. I am not a professional and seek your advise.

I am having some cooling issue with my PC. I've watched the thermals on a couple games. On cyberpunk my CPU gets to 90° and GPU gets to Upper 80s. On Destiny the CPU and GPU get to the upper 80s. My fans will randomly go to full blast and get real loud. The fans are generic Amazon ones that I saw in Jayz video. I have a 5950x with a 360 Cooler Master AIO on it, 3090 FTW3, and a 011 with the fans in the back and bottom pushing in and the fans on the top pushing out with the Aio. Also my monitor is Odyssey 9 Neo. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

Good evening Whilst shopping around for AIOs, I came around a curious listing: - Cooler Master Loquid ML360 Sub-Zero Evo AIO. Link: - https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml360-sub-zero-evo/ This is supposedly an effective cryo cooler for intel i9-13900K (my CPU), "promising" to cool my CPU to sub-ambient temperatures but I am skeptical thereof. For reference, I have a 1300W PSU and a 4090 GPU. For my CPU, may I ask, how effective this would be under the following conditions: - 1) CPU-intensive gaming like Cyberpunk 2077, etc. 2) Productivity Tasks. 3) Under Stress (benchmark-level). This one is more for my curiosity than practical daily use. 4) Any other situations you all may think of, being that I am still very new to PC-building and cooling. I am concerned about the condensation on my motherboard but apparently that is taken care of by the AIO. However, due to the lack of reviews thereon (which may be telling of itself) and my skepticism towards marking, I humbly seek your guidance to confirm how well this AIO performs and that, if otherwise, you could point me to a good AIO (cryo or otherwise). Thank you.

I want to get a sustainable sub zero cooling rig how do i stop water from forming up near my pc? i am willing to put it into closed box if it means no water will get in and is sub zero cooling inside a freezer a good idea? (sub zero by water, and pc inside freezer to stop water build up) (it shouldnt be since ram doesnt like being under 0 deg) i did not find any video on youtube about this and i have ryzen 5950x and rtx 3080 how far can i get 5950x and rtx 3080 on sub zero cooling?(@-50deg) TIA

Hello guys, I am having problems with my CPU temps. The idle temp is 44 celcius and the highest i got was 74 when playing Shadow of The Tomb Raider (after 20 minutes...). I have a very big case(SilentumPC Regnum RG4T) so good airflow, i connected all 3 fans that come with the case, i have good cable managment but i still get these temps. I am using the stock cooler that had the thermal paste already applied to it. The screws are tigthened as far as they can go. If there is nothing i can do with the stock cooler then please recommend a cooler under 50$ preferably RGB that can hopefully (not 100% necessary) allow me to overclock the CPU a little bit.

Hey, I am building two PCs for my Dad’s classroom, and, I have run into a problem. He teaches woodshop and engineering. As you can imagine, saw dust has been an issue in the past with computers. He wants me to build an overkill pc so in the future he wouldn’t have the issue that he has now, which is that his PCs can’t hold up. So, we picked out a list on pc part picker, including a 1080 ti, x299 mobo, and an i7 7820x cpu. My ideas as far as cooling were to consider first water or air cooling, so I thought the Corsair h100i v2 would be hopefully easy to clean regularly, but the gpu cooling and main case cooling because the zotac 1080 ti amp Edition card we picked will be hard to clean. Also, aside of the Corsair mammoth case, I couldn’t find a dust optimized case. I was reading that positive airflow is a good thing in this area, so I was considering the Corsair crystal 460x bc I can put 3 fans in the front, ( install a filter too) and one exhaust in the rear. What do you guys think is the best path forward?

Currently I have a Ryzen 5 1400 overclocked to 3.8 at 1.35 volts. I am planning on lowering the voltage but while I was stress testing the setting, my pc was as hot as an oven. The hot air coming from the top even heated the bottom of my desk, so I want to keep my pc cooler. Any suggestions? I included some pictures below. Front of the case. There is only one fan Top fan. There is an open spot where I could purchase another fan, if needed Exhaust fan. There is a radiator behind it connected to the h60. Bottom fan

Hello, I am looking for a cheap cpu cooler that I can use but I really don't want to spend more than 30$ and I need a quiet fan. I am using intel's stock fan which sounds like a jet engine when I play metro,Bioshock and rendering.Basically; I need a fan+heatsink which will be silent and wont let my CPU go more than %45~ thermal throttle on load and cheap as possible,I dont care too much relaibility I don't OC my cpu so no need for water cooling or extreme air cooling My system is: 4th gen intel i7 4790 Msi Z97 G5 mobo Msi Geforce gtx760 2x4 gb Kingston RAM Corsair 300cw case with 4 fans and good airflow Corsair vs650 PSU(yes I know it's overkill)

Hey Everyone, About a year ago, I started doing research into custom built gaming PCs, and started picking out parts as I learned about them that I would build into a PC once I got the money. Well, guys and gals, that time has come! Here are the specs of the PC that I plan to build within the next month or two: Case - Corsair Graphite Series 780T Motherboard - MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition (ATX) CPU - Intel Core i7 4790K (Will OC to 4.50GHz) CPU Cooler - Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 4.0GB GDDR5 RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB DDR3 HDD - Western Digital Black 3TB SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB PSU - Corsair HX850i Here's the thing, the case that I have picked out will support 3 120mm fans in the front. My original plan was to use those as front intake fans, mount the H100i GTX at the top of the case, possibly using those fans as exhausts, and use a 140mm as a rear exhaust fan. However, recently I've been seeing people in videos and on forums who are doing that, and others who are getting an H80i GT to double as both a CPU cooler and as a rear exhaust. My question to you guys is, should I use the 140mm as a rear exhaust like I originally planned to do, go with the H80i GT double-up option, or is there a better plan that you have noticed works better? Keep in mind, I want to have an equal amount of air going into the case as being exhausted out of it. Thank you so much if you can help.

Hello! I am seeking advice for picking out equipment for a better cooling system for my PC. At its current state, my fans sound like the equivalent of a jet engine like it's going to take off and fly out my window. The only cooling fans running on the system at any given time is for the power supply, processor, and graphics processor. The motherboard unfortunately cannot control the power supply's fan, nor does the power supply seem to throttle down it's own fan by sensing the temperature. I am to believe that the fan on it is constantly at full speed. Is it possible to control the power supply's fan in any way? The processor's fan thankfully, can be monitored and controlled manually by the motherboard. Although I do hear audible noise from the processor's fan. The graphics processor's fan is automatically controlled and already has an acceptable audible noise. Processor fans that are suggested must be compatible with the AM3+ Socket, and if it is true that controlling the power supply's fan is not possible, suggestions for a new power supply cannot exceed 500 watts. Any advice will be greatly thanked!

I made something where the idea is that it brings in cold air from the outside (This is the UK so it will be cold for virtually all the year :3), and then through ducting the cold air goes straight into the intake of my 750D (I am working on my new PC, I currently have a laptop), and will then go straight to the motherboard, GPU and CPU so they stay cooler so I can overclock them even more. It is currently extremely noisy as the end fan was a cheap one from Ebay which I will replace with a silent fans, there are actually two AF140 L fans on the other side of the box on the window and you cannot hear them at-all. The bubble wrap is to stop the wind coming in my room and making the door shake. The images are below. Box with two fans pulling air from window. The ducting which the air travels through. COMING SOON The box which the air is pulled back out of the ducting. COMING SOON The fan pulling the air out. What I have so far in terms of my PC build. Please could you give me some feedback on what you think this will do in terms of cooling for my PC, and if you like it .

I'm planning on building a new PC for myself. So i made this build which is as cheap as possible, but very functional nonetheless. But I still need some help with the cooling. If I don't plan on overclocking the CPU to its limit, can I stick with the cooler that comes with the CPU? I also have another question that is unrelated to cooling, but I didn't want to make another post just like this one in the Video Card Section. What is the diference between the superclocked version of that GPU, and the normal one? I'm looking for 2 cpu fans with relatively low noise for my push pull config on my hyper 212 evo. I don't want any Leds either. I would prefer either black or white style fans too. Also if they have a 4 pin connector that would be very ideal since they will be controlled from my motherboard. I was thinking about just getting the corsair AF 120 quiet editions but there are many complaints about rattling and the grommets failing to thread without falling out or breaking. Also no Noctua fans, a bit too pricy and certainly don't fall under the black or white constraint. If anyone has any suggestions or answers feel free to respond. Thanks

I'm going to be getting a Noctua NH-14s. BUT THE FANS ARE HIDEOUS TO LOOK AT. Would it be wise to paint the fans black? If so, any recommended methods. I won't be painting the heatsink.

I like know about alternative ways to prevent condensation in phase change cooled pc besides insulation. The cpu on the motherboard and the gpu on the dedicated graphics card are both cooled by phase change units to sub zero temperatures. This is only a theoretical topic. options: air seal the computer case air seal the computer case and suck out the air air seal the computer case and suck out the air and replace it with an other gas blowing air on the pc conponents with multiple high performance fans puting the pc components into an aquarium and fill it with mineral oil putting a dehumidifier into the pc case What do you guys think?

Hi folks, I've always been impressed by the insane measures people go to in order to their pc temps down and benchmarks up. After binge watching and many hours of Linus videos and much sleep deprivation I'm curious to know of what other kinds of ridiculous things people have done, and their results. Also, I was inspired by the old mineral oil PC and found the freezing point of mineral oil is −4 °C. It seems that being emerged would eliminate the condensation issue and keeping the entire system at such a low tempurature may be possible. Perhaps even using a pump system to keep the oil moving. I may just be way to tired to think straight, but does this sound feasible? Anyway, I'd love hear other out-there ideas. You Guys Rock! -Phreekachu (Choose ME)
