My friend got his new computer but he cannot make the panel leds the same colors as the fans. The case is a Rise Mode Galaxy glass (not the audio one) and the fans are all Rise mode Smart RGB(6 fans in total). He got all fans and the case leds connected to the Rise mode fan hub but for some reason they dont light up the right colors. He has tried using AuraSync, iCue and other fan-controlling softwares and it always turn out the same, blue fans case green, green fans case blue, and it is always two colors switched. The frontal panel leds can also switch colors by pressing the reset button on the top of the case. What should he do to actually solve this problem?

Budget (including currency): No Budget Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and Graphic Design Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): N/A Hello I'm interested in getting the LIAN O11D or some case form factor like it. My question is about the air flow difference between Side Panel mounted fans vs Front Panel. There aren't videos that I can see so if there is a member of LTT that scans the forums for ideas to steal for a video this is one! But fr is there a noticable difference? I'm just picturing in my mind that the air flow may get messed up from the way the direction goes unless I'm thinking to hard about this. Let me know your thoughts. Hi guys I am looking to get a custom pc built. I would like to know your thoughts on the "Phanteks PH-EC200AC_BK01 Eclipse P200A Performance Satin Black Mini-ITX Mini Tower Desktop Chassis". I want to hear about your personal experiences with this case based on the following questions: - Is this a good quality PC case/chassis? - Are the thermals great? - Is it noisy? - Is it easily up-gradable/expandable (Fans, motherboard, etc)? - If you had to choose an alternative case/chassis which one and why? I look forward to your feedback's. Thanks and stay safe.

Hello everyone, i am really struggling on choosing a pc case for my new build and was wondering if i could get some help. i have a few cases in mind(Phanteks P600s, Phanteks P500a DRGB, Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh) however i do not know whether i should go for one of these cases or whether i should go for something else. To help, I would like something which looks gd with rbg fans etc, has good airflow and isnt by Cooler Master. reasoning is that i hate their logo and do not want a case with their logo on it. Ik I might sound picky but in the past i have bought components which havent looked very gd at all and would not like to make the same mistakes again and I just want something gd which i wont regret buying. Thanks in advance Pc Parts Ryzen 3600xt Msi Ventus Rtx 3070 dual fan Msi B550 gaming edge wifi 16gb crucial ballistix RAM Corsair Rm650x 2tb baracuda

I really like the look of Slim ITX builds, like cases the size of a console or the MSI Trident 3 (even though its a prebuilt PC I really like the case). If anyone could find me a slim ITX case that is similar that would be great. My budget for it would be no more than $150 AUD.

So I finally found the pc case I've been looking for after a long time but surprise surprise, it's only compatible with mini atx's and micro atx motherboards which suck because my minds set on the parts I want along with the case motherboard wise and I was so set on the case because it's a really pretty case and for a great price too. Is there any way to convert a pc case to fit a motherboard of larger size?

Hi, Recently, I got new headphones that are yet to be delivered. Steelseries Arctis 7+. One thing about them is that their wireless dongle is type-C. The problem I have is that neither my case nor my motherboard have a type-C female port. I plan to use these headphones with an OTG connector, USB type C female to type A male connector for the wireless dongle. I understand this is not the optimal way to use them but my real question is wether this will cause any problems such as input lag and audio signal loss since these are wireless headphones. My primary use is gaming and video editing. I have also had some plans to update my PC case, now I'm specifically looking for one that has a type C front panel port. Would using an OTG be just as good or should I make the case switch as soon as I can? Any help is appreciated. My motherboard: Gigabyte B550 gaming X Thanks!

I have an itch to talk about this. It seems there was more variety of PC case designs in that certain era I mentions, and nowadays you are getting the same, boring thing, same dimensions, and no changes. Would an old Alienware case from the 2010's be more favorable by price and quality than a new one? I would think so, but would anyone else have a clue? Basically, would older, high-end cases be better for building a new PC? So, has anybody seen those CiT Cases? I'm looking for a new PC case. Really want something with LED lighting if I can help it. I'm on a real tight budget at the moment. Ideally £50 or less. Was wondering whether anybody has owned a CiT case, such as; - CiT G Force Gaming PC Case - CiT F3 Black Would be cool to see Linus check these cases out or something, but any advice would be much appreciated. As another case, I was also looking at the Aerocool X-Predator X1.

Whatever the case it's time to take a trip down memory lane, and share the case the housed your very first build! Please post pics if you can find them or the name of your beloved first case. Hello LTT forums, I'm trying to find a mid tower case that (preferably) is between $70-120. My other constraints are: -mid tower (space is a luxury) - good water-cooling support (240mm rads in top and front - good airflow and dust filters (my house is dusty and gets very hot) - acrylic side panel window (no tempered glass, I have got kids and glass isn't a good idea) Support for E-ATX motherboards. Thanks for your help guys, if I've posted this in the wrong place/format then please let me know. Have a great day.

Hey everyone, due to my PSU dieing 4 years into it's 10 year warranty, I feel like it's given me the kick up the butt I need to get a new PC case for my main and/or finally building a 2nd PC of which I've had parts for a long time, which i'll be using for a sim racing setup. I currently have a Gamemax Abyss which I got after watching the full RGB PC video. I can confidently say I don't like it so I'd like to get rid of it if I need to tear down my PC for the dead PSU. For the Abyss, apart from the infinity window, the LEDs are way too annoying to keep on since they emit the light outwards rather than in the case, long story short it's just a Chinese knock off the InWin case from the video which is terrible to work with. Before the Gamemax case I had a Inwin MaNa 136 (I still have it, currently empty but was previously used for a linux backup PC) which was a prebuilt system I got in 2013. From my few years in IT I will easily say that the MaNa 136 is the best case I've seen in person. 6 full 3.5" HDD slots and the 3 front expansion slots is what gets me all while having great options for air cooling and a nice looking front. The Abyss only has 2 full HDD slots (advertised as 3 which is false) while having a few 2.5" areas just put wherever they could. Back to the MaNa, I miss the DVD drive as I always seem to have to dig up my laptop im using right now to make an iso, then transfer it over. Same for SD cards, it would be nice to get an internal slot front panel for different storage cards, no need for USB adapters. A few things the MaNa 136 lacks is dedicated space for my SSD and a side panel window as that is something I personally do really like (even with no RGB/LEDs), instead it has air flow holes which covers about 30% of the side. As you can see I'm someone who likes to have function over fashion, (of course without the generic office PC look and well the Abyss is terrible so maybe you can prove me wrong), in my opinion the front of a case should provide airflow, front expansion and personally the power + included USB. I feel that a flat front panel is wasted space. So I'd like to ask you reading this, what's your opinions on the topic? What PC case/s should I look for, for either the main PC or 2nd PC? And are there any good looking cases with the functionality I talked about above without breaking the bank?

Hey guys, I'm looking to replace an old GameMax case I got cheap a few years back. It's served me well but I want something with better cooling capabilities - and of course the ability to invert the motherboard tray. The reason is because of space restrictions in where I actually have my setup I can only have my PC on my left side, which would usually means the window faces away from where I sit. I've not dismissed a completely window-less case but if I could find a reasonably priced inverted PC case with a window (preferably glass), then that would be prefered. The best case I've found os far is the BeQuiet! 801 Window but it is a little too expensive. I'd like to be spending less than £100 on the case. Thanks!

Building my first PC, all components are together, things are looking promising for the final assembling. However, I'm a little mystified by the front I/O, particularly the connectors for power, reset and attendant LEDs. I've worked out which is the USB and the audio, but not necessarily which is for the mic and which is for the headphones, but would like confirmation before I go shorting out a nice Asus Strix motherboard, Ryzen 5 processor and Corsair Vengeance RAM I got as a package. Any tips would be appreciated.

I have seen a PC case named 'Jonsbo U4' on the internet, so i bought it. and I have to say It's such a cute and amazing case!! I mean It's such a small and compact case, even smaller then most of the Mini ITX cases and can still fit ATX motherboards.... I would like to see Linus's review about this case. I didn't know about any company named 'Jonsbo' but when I researched about it on the internet, then I got to know that It's a company which makes cases for many company and sometimes they give blueprint ideas. So, Linus what do you say?? will you make this happen?? It's something around $130 in India. Here is the link:- https://goo.gl/w1KHjS
