  1. Hey guys, Would like some views on my current storage solution and see what is best where and when to spend money ect. My current sever stands as the following. Streaming and Download server PC I7 4790K H100 corsair Gtx Cooler MSI gaming 7 board 16GB DDR 3 Corsair Vengenace Ram 980 Reference SLI 850 evo 250GB 2tb WD black Sp 120mm fans AF 140mm x3 AF 120mm x1 Corsair briaded Cables M1 Parvum case As you can see this is a high end server designed for VMware virtual box a lot of network virtualization in GNS3 as well as a remote log in box to access my physical server and rack devices. I am a bit of a storage nut to give you some background I currently have a server 4tb 2x2Tb wd red in raid 0 with a 4tb external back up. I was not happy with this as raid 0 while fast the back up is on a normal desktop grade seagate drive. I wanted something more expandable and more faster ect. This is where Parvum really stepped up I contacted them as I wanted an M1 to match my R1.0 and my X2.0 but I wanted to know how many drives they could physically put inside an M1. The answer 6 3.5 and 2 2.5 perfect! Now with the questions. My current thought is to use the 2tb wd black for vm ware ect and to get 2 6TB wd reds and use them as media storage stuff I dont mind if I loose so to speak. Then 1 4tb wd red as a better more reliable back up to my NAS a back up I can do once a day or week or run a program that once a change is made in the NAS its changed on the drive. That is one way of going about it. 2nd way would be to take out the drive from teh external put it inside the new case and leave that as my NAS back up and carry on. Then rather than buying the 4tb wd red use the money to get two 8TB wd reds. But this would cause a little bit of a mix of dives in the server with a seagate a WD black and two WD reds. I am more than open to other ways of doing this as I just want a huge server for all my remote needs but dont want to spend LOADS on the drives. Any help is welcome!
  2. This is a build for my friend SniplerXLS in the second Parvum Systems R1.0 ATX prototype with a custom watercooling loop for the CPU and GPU, of course also the obligatory bespoke MDPC-X PSU cables and a unique frosted blue, frosted clear and black color scheme for the case. The theme of the build will be continued throughout with predominantly black hardware, blue coolant and all Bitspower silver shining fittings. Here are some pictures from along the way! Thanks for checking it out, the fittings will be arriving from Taiwan very shortly and we can begin to simultaneously build up the case and the cooling loop in the next update! JR
  3. Hello guys, First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Paweł and i'm from Poland. I'm working with my friend Karol as ExpendableCustoms. I visit LTT since 3 years but i never posted anything. This is my 3rd project so i decided that it's the right time to introduce myself. If you're interested here are links for my previous projects:All or Nothing and Lambda Core (still not finished - waiting for customs panels from Parvum). Feel free to check our profile at Facebook and Instagram for more content. Project: I would like to thank aquatuning.de for providing all water cooling suff. Without this support it would be much harder to start this little project. Few final shots of the project: A few words of introduction about the project. It all started from conversation with my brother-in-law about PC for my nephew, who graduated from elementary school this year. I offered to build PC for him, as a gift. It didn't take me much time to convience my brother-in-law that water cooled it the only way to go :thumb:. His only condition was case as small as possible. After working with monstrous L1.0 form Parvum choice was obvious for me. I decided to use smallest of all Parvum cases for this project - X2.0, exactly frosted clear version, which is not very popular. Frosted clear/satin plexi is main theme of this build. I'm going to use not only frosted X2.0 but also satin Alphacool CPU block, reservoir and tubing. Building LC loop in such small case will be very challenging, especially bending hard line tubing. At the beginning i didn't even know if all parts i'm going to use, will fit in the case. Only way to find this out was to create exact 3d model of whole build. It took me several hours to gather all necesary dimensions and create model in SketchUp. PC specs: Case: Parvum X2.0 Mobo: Asus Strix Z270i Gaming CPU: i5 7600k GPU: Zotac GtX 1080 Mini RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 2x8GB 3200MHz SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB M.2 PSU: Corsair SF450 Fans: 2x Noiseblocker PC-P and Noiseblocker PK-PS Monitor: Dell U2715H LC: CPU block: Alphacool Eisblock XPX Satin Clear Radiator: Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 140mm Pump: Alphacool Eisbecher DDC 150mm + Alphacool Satin Plexi Tube Tubing: Alphacool Eisrohr Satin 13/10mm Fittings: Alphacool Eiszapfen Buylog part of this worklog: Dell U2715H - 1440p, IPS, 60Hz. Great image and build quality. Mobo looks solid, i hope it will handle overclocked i5 7600k without any problems. Top plastic part will be painted yellow to match whole system. Match between motherboard radiator colour and RAM heatsink is perfect. I'm very pleased about this. Crucial MX300 275GB will be only drive for this PC, because it will be attached to high bandwidth with NAS, which will store all games/movies and music. Heart of system - little Corsair SF450 compared to 'normal' ATX HX1000i Due to lack of space i decided to use low profile fans at the back. Pump with standard reservoir tube... ... and with satin one. Color of fluid is not exactly what i was expecting, but it's easy to change. Of course i will make all cables from scratch. More pictures (including case) at Saturday or Sunday. Stay tuned :).
  4. Hi, I watched lots of LTT-Videos and posts, I would never say " I am a fan " or so, but I like what you guys do. For my own Project I am looking for these "spacial" fans. They are old versions and it seems like no one has them. I was lucky to find some on eBay, but still I need 5 or better 13! XD -The reason is quite simple: I felt in love, they look so nice, noble and the materials are unique. In my despair I even write with Alpenföhn, but they do not sell them, they have some, but only for garantee and such stuff. They also offer me to give that Fans for my Project, but first I will try to get them by my own (buying). From eBay -US- I was able to buy 5 of them, but for now I am just looking for used or cheap "Alpenföhn Matterhorn" CPU cooler, buy them and sell the cooler without fan again. XD But this could take forever. Do you know where I have good Chance to find some more? -BTW They need to be send to Germany. ^^ Yes, I know, Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 ARGB Looks also very nice and have RGB, but that is an other girl.... and not my first love. Possibly I thought about to put different Fans to the Front-Side, that new Wing boost 3 (High-Speed-Version). But this is Plan B. Plan A Needs 13 x "Wing Boost 2" or "Parvum fan F1.0" for know, Plan B only 5 of them. Hope to finish this project during the spring and starting with some You-Tube Videos in March or April. Why spring? - Something went wrong and I need warmer temperature outside to melt some... ^^ Thanks and excuse that botched "english"!
  5. Welcome to my 4th Parvum Systems build... The first was Parvum Titanfall, the Second was Parvum Warfare, and most recently Tears In Rain. If you hadn't guessed yet, this one is themed around the upcoming Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 release... More on that below. I have a thing for doing themed builds I just can't shake... I guess it's just what I do! It allows my to tap into a rich universe and pluck thematic inspiration. Something about this build style just motivates and excites me. When I get an idea for these themed builds something usually grabs me and I can't shake it, like a gut feeling followed by complete obsession that this is the one. That happened with all 3 previous builds; there was never a question, I felt inspired and motivated for those concepts. While Black Ops "4" has a nice fitting "4" ring to it that goes with my Parvum chronology, something is pulling me in... CoD may be a controversial brand that's lost it's footing here and there, but I have faith in Treyarch despite silly rumors, and the universe is just so rich and ripe for the thematic plucking. I designed the case and have sent said design to Parvum to work their acrylic wizardry. This one is pretty wild, here are some key features: *Heavily customized Parvum Systems R1.0 case w/ quad layers and custom engraving work *Armor cladding design w/ battle damage having tore several holes in the case *MATX w/ motherboard orientation the same as Parvum Warfare, except bottom of GPU will show through front of case (battle damaged hole) *Front of case logo will be displayed on a 5" LCD display visible through a battle damaged hole in the front *Floor, roof, and rear panel water distribution plates Main Components: Case - Parvum Systems R1.0 (Highly Customized) CPU - AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900x Motherboard - ASRock X399M Taichi Micro ATX Memory - 16Gb (4x4) Team Group T-Force Delta RGB 3000 GPU's - 2 x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080's SSD - 2 x Samsung 970 Evo M.2 250Gb (Raid 0) + TBD PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA P2 1200w Watercooling Components: CPU Block - HEATKILLER IV PRO for Threadripper COPPER NICKEL (Product #18026) GPU Block's - 2 x HEATKILLER IV for GTX 1080 - ACRYL Ni (Product #15576) GPU Backplates - 2 x HEATKILLER IV eBC - Backplate for GTX 1080 (Product #16063) Radiators - 1 x 360 HEATKILLER TBD, 1 x 240 HEATKILLER TBD Pump/Top Combo - WCP D5-VARIO with HEATKILLER® D5-TOP (Product #30009) Fittings - Barrow - all gold Tubing - Barrow 14mm chrome plated tube Coolant - TBD Miscellaneous: Lighting - DarkSide RGB Fans - 5 x Noctua NF-P12 Redux-1700 Cables - Ensourced Custom Sleeved Cables Built-in Display - 5 Inch Waveshare Capacitive Touch Screen
  6. Hi guys, It's been over 2 months since i finished last build, so it's time to start something new! After mITX Project FrostyBoy and 'normal size' Project Impossible and All or Nothing this time we're going balls to the wall with heavy moddifed monstrous Parvum L1.0 . The real beginnings of new project go back to end of 2016 when i bought Parvum L1.0 case. Few major delays didn't allow me to start this project till now. One of the biggest problems was cost of all parts - i simply couldn't afford all desirable parts on my own. External support in meaningful way was necessary if the project was to be executed in way i designed it. I would like to thank aquatuning.de and Alphacool for providing all water cooling suff, without this support this project wolud be impossible to realize. Also big thanks to Noiseblocker for providing best fans i can dream of . The new project means new approach to planning and modding - I decided to design everything before I start the real work. The effect in the form of a 3d model is shown below - I tried to make it as accurately as possible. All mods i designed myself, and they were executed by Parvum to ensure best possible quality. Few mods were unsuccessful but finally i own case with even greater LC capabilities than before. Downside of all this unsuccessful mods is numer of 'spare' panels i have - with them i'm able to build 2nd and piece od 3rd L1.0 . Only three panels from original L1.0 i've bought last year are present in current case - both sides, and baseplate (but not for long). Relative to the original L1.0 can now hold 2 x 480mm radiators in basement (instead of 2x360mm), and 420mm at the top (instead of 360mm). Front radiator mounting capability was droped due to problem with heating interior of the case by such radiator. Midplate was moddified to accomodate Aquaero and special plate for mounting two pumps was designed.
  7. Firstly thank you to those mentioned in the above image for supporting my endeavors once again! I'm very excited to start my next personal project R1.0 INDUSTRIAL, after several months of collaborations it's great to be back in full control deciding my own specification. Not only that but setting the pace myself and taking the time to photograph everything and get it all out on the forums! So a little writing about the project first to get things going, much like LIGHTNING this is centered around a very special piece of hardware and providing it with all of the power and cooling required is the main focus. The build won't be adorned with anything unnecessary however no compromises will be made along the way either. As the name implies aesthetically it will remain subtle and raw with nothing for show but nothing to hide. I intend to apply this way of thinking to each individual element and hopefully the end result will remain sympathetic to it's origin. As of this moment I don't have every part but I definitely won't be straying far from what I have decided as so many will be integral to the design of the case. I will elaborate on the reasoning as I unbox things but already it's clear that I have opted for completely colour neutral products with extremely reserved branding. Because there is just something about being instantly hit with 6 fully formed PCIe power connectors that it would be rude to hold back. It comes as quite a shock when 6 screws later a magnificently elegant Cooler Master solution is unveiled, clearly far more attention was put into this than just doubling up their single card efforts. But lets take an even closer look and not pretend a standard cooling solution was ever going to last long in my hands. Very rapidly all kinds of beautiful secrets were exposed, two massive cores, PLX chips and endless power circuitry neatly tessellated inbetween. Considering the PCB size is no bigger than what would be found on a single GPU GDDR5 card the density is insane. A good cleaning was in order to reveal the mirror perfect Fiji cores and all the little High Bandwidth Memes! Already from the little bit of performance testing I managed to do (yeah these two cards instantly smashed my overclocked quad 780Ti's) and my time spent taking them apart I am completely in love with these cards. The brutal insolence of power, crossfire, PLX chips and the effort taken to package everything so elegantly together is astounding. I'll be back very soon with a preview of the case! JR

  9. Hello LTT, i'm sure several members will know me from elsewhere on the interwebs, i've already seen several familiar usernames however this is my first time posting here! This project is actually a rebuild of one of my existing systems so i'll take a little time to give some background in this post. Hopefully over the course of this thread I can figure out how the forums work and get to know some of the regulars so things go smoothly on the next project here, whatever it may be! Chocolate Box was originally finished (if a PC can ever be called finished!) in March last year, it came about following a successful Parvum S2.0 build when they offered to sponsor me with an X1.0. At this point i'd just made my first foray into watercooling and was eager to try it again however it seemed appropriate to keep the case as standard as possible. With limited radiator area I decided cooling both the CPU and GPU with water was not a sensible option and the decision was made to watercool just the GPU. Consequently I searched for the biggest suitable CPU air cooler which at the time was the Noctua L12. After browsing their portfolio of products I was desperate to use their newly released industrialPPC fans hence the rather individual black and brown theme of the system came about. It wasn't my intention to upgrade this build on a whim however sadly the original reference 290X developed some rather concerning cold bugs, so while it had to be disassembled it made sense to capitalize on the opportunity and perform some upgrades. Really there wasn't much that disappointed me with the system initially, aside a very loud pump which was rectified using a PWM variant, so for it's re-incarnation there wasn't too much I wished to change from an aesthetic perspective. One tiny niggle I always had was the slight sag of the tubing to the GPU and the inconsistency betweeen the Alphacool, Bitspower and EKWB fittings consequently I will be using exclusively Bitspower Silver Shining for the rebuild. Aside just gaming I also use this system for 3d rendering quite frequently and so I decided to upgrade to a Skylake i7 requiring the EVGA Z97 Stinger be changed to Z170 along with some new DDR4 making the full specification as follows.... Case - Custom Parvum X1.0 CPU - Intel i7-6700k Motherboard - EVGA Z170 Stinger RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 4000C12 GPU - XFX R9-390X DD Black Edition SSD - HyperX 3K 120GB SSD - HyperX 3K 240GB PSU - Silverstone SX600-G Fans - Noctua IndustrialPPC NF-F12 ip67 2000PWM x2 CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-L12 GPU Block - EK FC290X Nickel/Acetal w. Backplate Radiator - XSPC AX120 Pump - EK-DDC 3.2 PWM Pump/Res - EK DDC X-RES 100 Fittings - Bitspower Enhance Silver Shining Tubing - Bitspower 10/12mm Silver Shining Since the concept came to me i've always been very fond of this build and i'm looking forward to sharpening all of the details to keep it relevant for a little while longer, catch you all soon. 10. Hello LTT forum! After an extensive amount of web browsing for info, components and retailers. I (think atleast) have my final form for my new PC. If you have any tips, opinions or criticism weather it's positive or negative towards my parts feel free to say so but please state why. Here it is http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/lelo08/saved/6QJJ7P . (Also a quick apology for my broken English ) I will use this build for general computing but mostly heavy gaming and little recording. The price of the build here in Sweden would actually be more closer to 3 300 dollar with shipping (from Swedish retailers). Time for some explanation! I chose the 240mm rad version of the h100i GTX simply because that will fit on top for the M1.0 case, it won't impact cooling much and it also slightly cheaper. As for the two sapphire radeon r9 nanos they recently went down in price quite a lot and they certainly do pack quite the punch. And maybe in the future when I have money for it i can set up a third nano. I like the aesthetics of it except for the little red detail that clashes against my build theme (maybe paint it?). As for the MOBO and the CPU it's quite easily explained with the compatibility of 2 or three GPU's. ''The main difference between the 5930K and the Core i7-5820K used in our $2,500 Build comes down to PCIe lanes. The 5930K enables 40 lanes (x16, x16, x8), versus the 28 lanes (x16, x8, x4) provided by the 5820K. For one video card, that doesn't matter, but if you want the option to run multiple ultra-high-end cards, it definitely does.'' -TBG website. As for the question: Why don't you just run a custom water loop? I am not nearly enough experienced to do a custom loop nor wanting the higher risk of leaking. So please say what you think about the rig and I will probably order all of the components in about two weeks from now. Or for your convenience here is the Pcpartpickers http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/lelo08/saved/6QJJ7P Edit: Instead of the two r9 nano I will instead go with two Sapphire radeon r9 fury x. Thanks for all the help guys!
  11. Hello LTT forum! I hope you all are having a wonderfull day, I sure am but I need help preferably by a case owner of a parvum case. I am planning to purchase the ATX case m1.0 but I am kinda stuck on deciding a color scheme. Which scheme do you have and how does it look? Is it worth getting a more ''exclusive colour'' like matte black/ metallic gold? Anyways If you have a case maybe post a picture of it and I can see how it looks if not I might as well purchase the matte black/ white case. Thanks for reading and hope you can help, bye.
  12. Beware of Parvum Systems! If anyone wants to buy a case, get a case from known manufacturers like Corsair, CoolerMaster, ThermalTake, NZXT, etc.. or create your own case and do It by yourself. My story started when I decided to have custom made Parvum S2.0 case with a Republic of Gamers theme, had my own plan and wanted something different and unique. I contacted Justin from Parvum and been told to pay £241.65 ($364) so they can start with the project. Service Level Agreement: Justin said this will take 3 weeks to be done (from starting the design concepts until shipping out the case), the case was sent to me after 2 months!! Reason? They said I have requested extra stuff .. and guess what the extra stuff are? A black motherboard tray and an ROG logo instead of the 80mm fans!! 6 extra weeks for a black motherboard tray that they already have and an ROG logo .. Email from Justin: http://cdn.top4top.net/i_e44f4976641.png Quality of the Case: So finally, I got the case .. and god .. continue reading please: 1) Quality Never seen a low quality engraving in a case, look how the ROG logo engraved in the 80mm fans place + the borders of the 120mm fans holes has white stuff that I couldn’t remove with alcohol .. 2) SSD Locations and a wobbly case I requested a custom SSD location, I told Justin that I have a custom ROG stickers on my SSDs and wanted them to be visible without showing the cables .. he suggested the following: email from Justin: http://cdn.top4top.net/i_e44f4976642.png Then I replied with: (please notice how I keep reminding him that I’ll be using a sound card AND in need of a black motherboard tray): Email to Justin: http://cdn.top4top.net/i_61ade6df553.png And this is what I got, a wobbly case (cables clutter under the case) and SSDs that are not visible: A red motherboard tray and he simply replied with a “sorry” email (thankfully I had a black motherboard try from a previous Parvum S2.0 case that I bought off the internet and did not use) and the SSD location is really bad .. a sound card can block the SSD from viewing .. and installing the GPU will totally cover the SSDs. 3) PCIE bracket PCIE bracket .. for the love of god .. got a white one instead of black (painted it black myself) + please look at how the sound card is aligned with the PCIE bracket. I broke my motherboard PCIE lane while trying to align the GPU with the PCIE bracket .. now I have to buy a new motherboard: 4) No USB 3.0 screw holes One of the worse quality control I’ve ever seen .. they forgot to drill the USB 3.0 screw holes .. without them I can’t install the USB 3.0 module on the case: What happened next? Nothing .. Justin offered to change the case bottom panel to fix the SSDs location .. which will not work .. he also said he shipped the front panel with the USB 3.0 screw holes which should take 4 – 6 days (it’s been a month now and I still didn’t get anything) .. They don't respond to your emails in time, the don't read your emails thoroughly and they don't have quality! Please guys .. make sure to go to well-known companies for your cases, don’t waste your money on Parvum cases. I wasted a lot of money, broke my motherboard, my PC parts are still around for more than 3 months and still don’t have a damn PC!
  13. The watercooling will consist of Bitspower white fittings and acrylic hardline tubes. all cables will be sleeved in matching colors. Build log will be with you shortly
  14. Hey LTT community! (Again) Sorry to mods if this belongs in off topic but it seems quite "On Topic" <3 Who Am I? Hi I'm Harry, I am a Graphic Design/Illustration student in the UK and all round Design nerd! I am currently studying illustration with traditional media so this is a good chance to get back to my roots with vectors! TL;WR Pick a build from the list below that you want to see made into an Illustration, super simple! What is this? Who are you? What is this treachery! This is a a result of this thread and also this Reddit post and the popularity my work has received from the tech community. Basically the following 3 (read 4) builds are all in the running to be made into illustration similar to the ones above BUT with full animated build log included. Community Choice Themes: Well you obviously don't like my choices so pick your own! ** Voting will close on the 19th of July ** The List The official list AND order in which request will be done. Do not dispute the list, it is God. Sapphire R9 Fury TRI-X Sapphire R9 280x Tri-X MSI GTX 980 Twin Frozr V Radeon R9 295x2 R9 Fury X R9 Nano This list is the final say, do not dispute or try to queue hop (unless you are a vendor and you have a new card that you want to secretly give me, that would be fine). These will be done at my discretion as they are done for FREE, please remember that! No Longer Taking Requests Common Questions Cut down on Forum spam! These are fake then, huh? Nope, these are 100% my own work and each one is made up of between 100 and 5000 separate shapes all layered up to create the image you see above! Soooo they're traced? Still nope, they are measured before hand and the individual components get made and positioned, this is why there are a few mistakes and differences, this allows me to make them more "artworky" and less technical specs sheet! I have seen these before, did you steal them? If you have seen these before then you either follow my Instagram or are part of the PCMR sub-reddit. I do post their occasionally and I got a reasonable amount of publicity last year for a Parvum (awesome case makers) build that I animated! Can I have these as a wallpaper? Yes of course! All of the images linked here are wallpaper sized (3840x2160) Can you do my build? Potentially! This is why I am asking the LTT community if they're interested in voting on build for me to make, these of course are 100% free and would be entirely decided upon by community feedback. How long does it take you? Depends on the complexity, a single GPU could take an hour while a fully animated build could take 2-3 days of work. When will it be done? If you're willing to pay, I can give you an end date. As I am doing this in my spare time for free, well I can give you a Linus deadline, "In the future sometime." Anything Else? Is he still talking? Nope that's it! Pick a build, peruse my work and maybe drop a request! ~ Harry
  15. Came across this build recently having looked at various other pc builds using Parvum cases and I know it is way passed the whole Titanfall hype and the fact that it was built 4 months ago but this looked too awesome (in my personal opinion) to not deserve some extra exposure. But what do others think, is it as awesome as I really think it is or am I just delusional ? 16. So I was looking through my issue of customPC and saw this case manufacture in Britain called Parvum. There cases look pretty awesome, especially for custom systems. Has anyone here got one? Are they good? There prices are pretty steep but I'm diggin the design. There custom mods are cool too. http://www.parvumsystems.com/category/cases http://www.parvumsystems.com/category/custom-modifications Here are a couple of pics.
  17. Hey everyone, I'm thinking about maybe building a new rig in the summer, and I really wanna make it MATX as I would like to be able to put it on my desk (Almost all ATX cases won't). So the case I was thinking of was the Parvum Sytems S2.0 and I really like the look of the orange and white one. So my question is, is there any MATX motherboards that you know of that would fit with this colourscheme? Finally, I am not 100% set on orange but it would be nice if I could do it that way. Thanks in advance
  18. Parvum Systems Cases are now being sold by PerformancePCs in the US!!! Price is $199 and they have heaps of colors available. I think I just found my next build project Here's the announcement straight of Performances PC's facebook page: "PPCS is pleased to now offer in the USA the gorgeous Parvum acrylic cases! In stock..all colors! Made completely 5mm high quality acrylic the case is super sleek and beautifully engineered. Each case is individually cut. The Parvum S2.0 is an evolution of the popular S1.0 with a host of new features and improvements over their first product range. Many of the features have been included as a result of feedback from the fast growing Parvum user base. The technology that Parvum use to create these individual masterpieces has recently been massively upgraded which results in an even higher level of precision on the S2.0 case. Check out all the cool colors and models here: http://bit.ly/VnQloH" Hope we start seeing more people adopting these nice looking cases
  19. Hello there!! well with the imminent release of the Parvum ITX case, and with them not releasing a video tutorial yet, i thought id spend a hour or two doing my own for you lovely lot! A few things to note.... 1) im nothing to do with Parvum, so don't blame them if this is wrong somehow! 2) i hadnt noticed id taken my camera off auto focus after the second shot, so some pics are not the best! 3) im sure there are many other ways to make the parvum, but this is the easiest i find! Firstly, Parvum. These guys have done amazingly well for themselves in the last few years, going from strength to strength with each case they make. The first case they released to the general public (the parvum s.1.0) was a great success, i don't have the figures of how many were sold, but i know forums were saturated with build logs! from the very beginning i wanted one but just couldn't afford, now i can ive had one! Using the feedback they received from their fan base, Parvum then created the Parvum s.2.0. Again, many have been seen on forums all around the world, another great success. Now, we have the Parvum ITX. This will be released sometime between now and September with a target of around mid august, the price should be around £99 So what do you get with your money? buckets full of awesome, thats what! When you order, you will receive this, quite a plain, thin cardboard box. Open it up and you will find this warning! Under a load of the protective material you will start to reveal some goodies! after taking off the mountains of pretective wrap, you will end up with all of this. i don't recommend stacking all the acrylic on top of each other like i have, but i only had a small table! The screws: Here is what should be included: a letter bottom panel top panel front panel 1 front panel 2 back panel 1 back panel 2 PCI bracket a sheet of clear acrylic (please note, that this has a protective film on which is usually pink and scratched up, make sure you take this off! i know a few people haven't noticed and have complained!) a windowed panel side panel motherboard tray SSD bracket loads of screws (you will get a few different types, were mainly going to be using the long and short smaller thread ones) loads of square blocks allen keys a anti tamper switch and cable. USB 3 Hub/ Now, lets start building. First you will want to find the bottom panel, this looks like so, you will notice your going to need 4 blocks, 4 SHORT screws and the allen key. You want to put them so the 4 blocks are in the corners, and the screws go into the countersunk holes in the panel so that everything is flush like so. These 4 blocks are going to essentially be the feet of the case. Next were going to need 2 more blocks and 2 LONG screws. This time the blocks are going to be on the opposite side of the others, and the screws WILL NOT be in countersunk holes, this is intended! Next were going to want back panel 1 back panel 2 and the metal pci bracket. Put the metal PCI bracket into the grooves that hold it then place the back panel 2 over the top of it. Next you will need the floor panel and 3 LONG screws. Make sure you have the floor so that the 4 blocks in the corners are touching the work bench and that the 2 other blocks are on top! then, whilst holding the 2 back panels together so that the metal bracket cant fall, screw in the 3 long screws into the bottom 3 holes, these should go straight into the blocks already there. Next your going to want the motherboard tray 1 block, 1 LONG screw and 3 short screws. Take the block and one SHORT screw and fix it to the motherboard tray on the opposite side of the standoffs, next to the cut out for the cables like so. then put this panel into the case like so, using the LONG screw for the back panel and the remaining 2 screws for the bottom 2 blocks. Next we are going to do the front of the case. were going to need the front panel 1, 2 SHORT screws and 1 block. put the screw into the only countersunk hole on this bit of acrylic, and attach the block to the back like so. you will now be able to attach this to the motherboard tray, *NOTE* for the moment, there should only be 1 screw actually holding the front panel in place!! Now get front panel 2, 4 LONG screws and 2 more blocks The 4 screws go into the holes on the corner of the case, through both panels and into the 2 blocks in the bottom of the case, you will need to attach the other 2 a the top next the SSD holding panel, 1 block and 4 SHORT screws *note i have now turned the case around!* this fits UNDER the 3 blocks that are already there, like so: Now is a good time to attach the USB hub and also the front switch To do this you will need to use 2 short screws for the usb hub. to attach the anti vandle switch, just unscrew the ring, pop the switch through the hole then tighten the ring back on. now take this panel, and 4 SHORT screws attach the panel like so *note* if you struggle getting the piece of acrylic to fit, just loosen the screws on the front panel slightly! Now, were going to do the window, you will need these 2 sheets, 1 block and 5 LONG screws Put the sheets on top of each other like so fit the block into the top corner like this *note ive turned the case around again* then fit the panel like this, again, if its a tight fit, just loosen the screws a bit Now, the top panel and 6 screws Just place this on the top, lining the holes up and making sure that the corner with the bit cut out goes in the position shown, above the rear Parvum logo, then just screw it down. Thats it!!! your finished! If you want any of these pictures larger, or need any clarification, just post up! il sort you out if i can And my favorite shot of the day :
