Budget (including currency): USD - no budget set Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk, Modded Skyrim, Modded Fallout 4, and numerous others to count. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Before I get into my current parts selection I feel I need to explain my situation. Do to budget restraints I'm moving into a small RV, which has a 50amp power connection. It will be stationary and permanently connected to power. However, after all the arrangements were done and setup, I got offered a new job. So yea that budget problem isn't a problem anymore, but I'm still moving into the RV. So I'm wanting to build something that'll allow me to continue doing, somewhat, hardcore gaming and enjoying all the advantages of modern tech, but won't be to much draw on the power. Parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wQzZYg These parts are simply my dream build to put in there, I fully expect to swap everything out. The SSDs are all place holders, just to remind myself exactly how many the motherboard can handle. As for the Video Card, I'm wanting that to be either a RTX 3080, 3080ti, or 3090. Though it should be noted if I can get better power use out of a 3070 or 3070ti, then that's going to be the best option. It should also be noted that I do intend to liquid cool the machine, and if possible I would love to be able to run 4k at 120fps (I do have a TV that can handle that, that will be in the RV), however the majority of the time I will be using a 1440p 144fps monitor. Case: https://www.velkase.com/products/velka-7 For now I've chosen the Velka-7, but if the 3070 is the better option this will get changed to a Velka-5. Do to the living situation, space is a premium. So the smaller the case the better. I will be making modifications to the case, and most of the tubing will end up being run externally, as will the radiator(s), and probably the reservoir. Right now I'm just planning out the project, I will probably actually build it later this year, possibly early next year. Depending on what life throws my way. Any advice, and/or recommendations, on what would be better for my needs would be greatly appreciated.

Budget (including currency): $1,200 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: New AAA games Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm upgrading from a pre-built PC with a i5-9400F and 1660 Super and i'm going to build my first PC which I only need a midrange one. Hi, I am looking forward to buy a pc. As I am new in the scene I want to ask you if this parts list is reasonable for the price and my purpose or if you can give me advice on what to chose instead. Also I‘ll just stick to the post recommendations from the pinned post. 1. My budget is around 1000€, I can go a little over it, but need to get a monitor as well. My location is germany. 2. I will use the pc mostly for gaming. Sometimes I will do some light photo and video editing. I will play mostly Destiny 2, The Witcher 3, Forza Hoizon 4 and Minecraft, but I want to be able to play some games in the next years, even though I don‘t need maxed out settings. 3. I currently only own two old 1600 x 1200 Office Monitors (HP LP2065), so I will need a new one. A single monitor will be enough for me. Maybe I will upgrade to a two monitor setup in the future. I was thinking about a ACER Nitro QG241Y. Is this a good budget monitor or do you have other recommendations for this price? 4. I already own a good enough keyboard and mouse, but will need a Windows 10 License. However I am ok with a 25€ License ffrom a key reseller. My Current list is in the pdf I put in the post. Yes I know there are cheaper B450 boards out there, but I chose this one because Asus is known for its very good boards and bios, and to have quality components is pretty important to me. Also I need the Storage, because I am hobby photographer and shoot much raw photos so the files are pretty big and I have many of them. PC_Specs_fin.pdf

- Need help with a parts list - Never built a pc before, but it seems like gaming/streaming pc are really great for 3d renderings. - I'm looking to build something around $600 - $1000 USD - I would like for it to have room for future upgrades... so that it can last at least a decade or longer. - Or - Is it better to build a decent one right off the bat and just replace it down the line? - Planning to use it mainly for my art and metalsmith designing, 3d printing, cnc/laser printing, web browsing, video editing, and maybe get into leisure gaming and streaming. - is it possible to use a flat screen tv as a monitor? Bc i have two stored in a closet... but I guess eventually I would want a pc monitor? - I'm not really sure what OS to use, open to suggestions, but i'm guessing windows? - I have plans for the computer parts to be mounted and displayed on a wall instead of a tower... any opinions for, or against this?... - We have our phone devices and the only pc is a laptop that's a 2009 MacBook Pro for over 10 years now. I've replaced the SSD and RAM... but it's just about time to upgrade to something more substantial. So yeah... that's the extent of my pc build experience. - I've been watching youtube videos to learn how to build a pc, (that's how I discovered this forum) and I've been on pcpartspicker.com to play around with the parts combinations, but it's just a little overwhelming still. - Like, how do you know if all the parts will work and look aesthetically pleasing together if I am planning to mount it openly on a wall in my studio? - Are there any important questions that I should be asking?

Hello, I've recently decided to get a new PC as my current one is 5 years old and cannot play many games I enjoy/want to play anymore. I've updated drivers, and its because its specs are 1050 (not Ti) and an fx 4350 with 8gb ram. The parts list I threw together is linked here. I want to see if this is any good. The reason i'm running it by this forum is because I've been out of the limbo up until about 2 weeks ago and there are some new parts that I don't have much knowledge on. I currently am just looking for a PC because I'll save up and get new peripherals on my own in the future. I have my 1tb hdd in my current PC that i'll likely place into this build if I complete it. Also why I'm at it, how could I move my copy of windows to my ssd in the parts list? I'm assuming something to do with raid but I don't think you can just move it over from the file explorer. If this list gets tweaked by anyone, just know that I prefer the case listed, and if possible the cooler, yet if another is better/cheaper then it just comes too it, and if possible liquid cooling because large radiators blocking rgb is a little infuriating. Oh and rgb if possible. I plan to do alot of gaming and general use. Anyways thanks, -Logan. EDIT: I was messing around and also made this list too see if it was any better and its a good bit cheaper using AMD, link.

Budget: ~$1700 USD (+/-$200) Country: US Parts List (RTX 3070 to be added later) I'm planning on using it primarily for gaming. I'll be adding two drives of my own as well (128GB SATA m.2 and 960GB SATA SSD). Hoping to build it in about 3 months or so. How does it look? Anything need to be swapped? Any alternatives? And is the Monitor a good choice? Any advice is appreciated!
