This is not big, but I got fortnite on iOS using game streaming. I don’t play fortnite, so this is only a proof of concept. It should work which it will, why wouldn’t it? Here is me running fortnite on iOS with shadow which is a $11 a month Cloud pc subscription that Linus reviewed a once: the funny thing is that it uses the shadow client which is available from the App Store. Apple may (probably not) remove it. This does require Internet connection so technically it’s not running on the device. You could also use GeForce now. But shadow can be used for more than gaming so I think it’s a better value.

From what I understand linustechtips uses Invision Power Suite. I've done some research and the only comparable service I can find is VanillaForums. I don't see a lot of the features that IP.Suite has on VanillaForums and for some reason it is way more expensive. IPS seems to be working well for Linus so what do you guys think, and suggestions?

"Yet another Skyrim Paid Mods thread " Yeeaaahhh. But let's take a moment to realize that The Elder Scrolls: Skryim - Legendary Edition is back up to a whopping $40 on Steam, coming from $19.99. The base game is now again at $19.99, coming from $9.99. I just don't like that their move with all of this controversy, after removing paid mods, was to raise the price again and ride off of the publicity. Here's the review I left on Steam regarding the matter:

As the debate over the existence of climate change shifted from “We don’t know,” to “Okay, most of the science says it exists, but we gotta hear both sides,” nobody has been more important to the fragile climate denialism side than scientists like Wei-Hock Soon. As data massed in support of man-made climate change, the work of Soon, a Harvard-Smithsonian Center astrophysicist, was coveted by oil companies because he offered alternative explanations that seemingly absolved the energy sector of any wrong doing. Soon argued that it wasn’t human activities like, say, carbon emissions, that are leading to a greenhouse effect; the Earth’s rising temperature is instead a result of energy fluctuations in the sun. Blaming the sun rather than SUV’s and coal factories had a certain appeal to industries which relied on SUVs and coal for profits. If that all sounds very convenient, well, it turns out that it is. According to newly released documents obtained by Greenpeace, Soon’s “research” was less about truthseeking and more a pay-by-the-data-point mercenary number of jobs that were, for all intents-and-purposes, commissioned by the oil industry to keep the debate over the existence of climate change intentionally muddy. The parties didn’t even try to hide it. To break it down, Exxon Mobil paid Soon $335,000 for his “work,” American Petroleum Institute chipped in $274,000, and our friends, the Koch brothers, gave him another $230,000. The idea that these groups paid Soon out of a dispassionate love for objective science is laughable. The Koch brothers don’t even want to give their employees health insurance, so thinking they’d give a quarter of a million dollars to a scientist without any obvious benefit to themselves is delusional. Soon was “hired” to get the results that would benefit oil and gas companies, plain and simple. Despite the obvious incentives, Soon’s work has been used again and again by everyone from Fox “News” hosts to politicians to justify inaction on climate change. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), a man who literally wrote the book on climate denialism, loves Soon’s work and uses it as part of his climate change fighting machine that works to block any bill that seeks to address the problem. What Soon has done is not only scientifically disingenuous, but helps reinforce the strategy enacted by oil companies to delay and confuse action on climate change, in a very similar way to what tobacco companies did in the 1990s. The goal isn’t to “win” the debate, because the evidence is overwhelming against them. Instead, the endgame is to avoid reaching the endgame. Every year that America fails to address climate change in any meaningful way means one more year of extremely high profits for the companies who perpetuate the problem. Soon is among the hired guns that enable this strategy to work. And he’s made a fortune from it. Soon has not commented publicly about the new allegations, but has previously said that while he does take money from oil companies, he “would never be motivated by money for anything.” I guess we’re just supposed to take his word for that. The Steam subscriber agreement has been updated to include a provision requiring all users to disclose when they are using the platform to promote a "product, service, or event" in exchange for cash, swag, or other considerations, the update is similar to one made last year that required Steam Curators to disclose paid recommendations, but this one applies to everybody. The specific line is in Section C of Part 6 of the user agreement, and reads: I'd hazard a guess that the advent of Steam Broadcasting is largely responsible for the update. If it takes off as Valve presumably hopes, it will see a large uptick in Let's Play-style videos, at least some of which will be sponsored by developers and publishers; the FTC told Gamasutra last year that streamers must disclose paid content in a "clear and conspicuous" manner, and that failure to do so could lead to an investigation. But where the change could prove particularly interesting, and not necessarily in a good way, is with regard to Steam user reviews. If a YouTuber receives a game code for review, for instance, and then later throws the game in question a recommendation on Steam, are they required to disclose the "relationship" along with the thumbs-up and do they risk forfeiture of their account for failing to do so? So basically I have been using a bit of luck and a bit of common knowledge to avoid viruses for a few years, but now Im finally going to get a real antivirus program. From what Ive heard Avast! is really good, for a free software, but Im wondering if it is worth getting the "Pro antivirus" since it is on a ca 40% discount. YouTuber JackFrags, who was involved in the "EA paying youtubers to talk positively about BF4" scandal has published a video today explaining that some of the accusations are just plain wrong, and others were valid, and explains the facts: Basically: They were not paid not to say anything negative about the game until 29th November, and that rumour is completely false The FTC has said that there will be no sanctions for the non-disclosure of information The program, ronku, simply requires the youtubers to make up to 3 videos which show off the levelution in the game and not to focus on bugs (they could even mention them as long as it was not the focus of the video) The videos that were uploaded to his channel would have been made and published anyway, whether EA had paid him or not, and the content would have been the same The T&Cs of the program have now changed to say that channels are required to say (in the video or description) that it is sponsored by EA, otherwise it is rejected No BF4 content released before the 29th October 2013 was paid, and any positive impressions in those or any other videos (including during the promotion period) were his own, truthful opinions, which were not affected by any money that may or may not have changed hands I personally feel that this is fair enough, and while it would have been nice for him not to have needed to make that video, I understand his position, and would probably have done the same thing if I was in his position. Moreover, none of the other channels that have been accused have made a video apologizing (as of 21:30 UTC on 28th Jan 14) (EDIT: apparently other channels (levelcap) have made posts on reddit - see below), which tells you something about their respect for the community.
