Hi all, I have a laptop which work let me keep when we moved over to new laptops. Admittedly i think it was just a nice IT guy as opposed to company policy. However, the laptop is bios locked, initially I managed to boot it from usb windows media, and reinstalled windows, removing all partitions (bitlocker was mentioned during this part). Now when I turn on the laptop it takes me to a corporate login page, seems like initial set up of a corporate laptop. I am wondering if I replace the SSD if this will solve the issues and I can reinstall windows on it then? I’ve also read that if I use the new ssd in this machine it will be locked to that machine? I believe the Bios lock is going to be impossible to remove. Happy to answer any questions.

Hi all, I found myself in a situation here that i have to leave my belongings behind and check on the family at the mother-island. So i am flying today to Curacao, and i REALLY REALLLY REALLLLLYYY do not want to miss out on playing D4 since day one. I Was wondering if there are any options, between 250-350$, so i can still game there. I have spotted the : Mini PC AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Gaming Desktop for 255 on ebay. My question is: is that a good option ? if not, do you have any golden tips, etc? That would be amazing Sidenote: Yes, curacao is very nice... but for me it's still home. Hey I don't know where to properly get help with this issue and haven't had any responses to my emails., I ordered Water bottle and northern lights desk pad. on 4/21/21 and got confirmation email. 5/3/21, i got a WIZMO tracking number, and it has a fedex tracking number on that site giving me just a "Label created". I hate doing this and ive replyed to the emails twice one week apart each time and just wondering if they are comming or what has happened. Again if this is wrong place I don't know where else to turn. i hate karening like this but it was $74. Edit: They both came very satisfied but it took solid 1.5 months

Hey guys so I just ordered a GTX 1650 on Canada Computer, the item said that "5 available online" "Back-order for in-store at Waterloo", so I order online. But after almost 2 days, my order is still at pending and the shipping method is dropship, and I'm not sure if anything about this is normal. Can anyone please tell me what happen if I cancel my order? (will I get full refund including shipping cost?), and is 2 days pending normal? (what's the expectation?). Thanks a lot

Hey all, I had ordered a few things from lttstore.com and had them delivered to me in germany. There were problems in customs that I am still trying to solve. I reached out to LTT store support and I got exactly ONE reply. After that it didn't matter how many replies or new E-Mails I sent them, they did never respond. I assume that I am blacklisted somehow? I'm not sure what to do now or how to contact them.... Any help is appreciated.

I ordered a k70 keyboard from corsair.com and it charged my bank and I have not received any confirmation or tracking number from them. (Bought it 5 days ago) Does anyone know if this is common and if they have received their product from corsair.com.

Hello! I have build my first ever waterloop and I am quite happy with it so far. But I reallised a flaw with my draining system. As you can see from the pictures I have my drain Port on the lowest Point in my System, on the Radiator. The Order is as following: -Pump -GPU -Radiator (back to Pump) But I can't fully drain my System like that. Alot of Water stays in the Reservoir and the GPU Block. My Question now is: Can I change the order to -Pump -Radiator -GPU (back to Pump) ? This would mean that I can completely drain my system down to the last drop. Is it "allowed" to do it in this order? Or are there things I have to concider? Thanks!

Hey guys so im doing a cheapo watercooling loop for my lan party pc (its not expensive hardware so im less effected if it fails but i highly doubt it will if all lines are secured) now its not having a Res so it is less likely to rupture and leak(even though i always check my loops before starting) so im using a T-Line in it, two to be specific, one to fill the loop at the top and one to drain at the bottom preferably with a valve on the bottom one. the loop is going to have a 120mm rad at the front of the case a little higher than the 480 im cooling and a pump at the bottom most likely so if anyone could give me a diagram of the best loop order for a T line or a detailed explanation atleast. EDIT: the waterblock isnt cheapo its an Aquagrafx 480 just to be specific. Cheers guys

Just got this message on my Amazon order, what does it even mean? It was supposed to arrive today, this has never happened before..

TLDR : Don't buy from the dell.com/dell.ca website they are not worth your time even if you can save a bit of money. their customer support sucks BAD and they don't care for their customers. SO. what happened ? well, it all started a few months ago. when I decided to buy a dell 2 in 1 laptop. it was cheaper on the dell website and I had company discounts there. so I bought it strait from the website. I got a confirmation of order. saying it would arrive within 2-3 weeks. and then. nothing. 4 weeks passed, then I check the email I had reicived with the tracking number. and clicked on it. turns out, my order got cancled ! so I contacted dell, and they coudn't tell me why it got cancled. they had no idea. (now wether they actually knew or not I can't tell. I just don't know.) then, they ordered again and had the thing shipped. but I got no emails, no confirmation that it got sent. The laptop arrived, and a week later I got the confirmation email that it was sent from the dell warehouse. A WEEK AFTER I HAD REICIVED IT !!! how does that make sense ! turms out I got the laptop after all anyways. and some good discounts. got it a month and a half too late tho. college had already started... whats that ? you think that was it ? hahahahahahahha. no. When I got the laptop, it came with a 5400rpm drive. wich I had in mind that I would change for a 256gb ssd after I got the laptop, because dell gave me a 49$ gift card for buying the laptop in their store so I bought it there. At first, I screwed up. I put in 2x the gift card number instead of my credit card number. I was called the next day by a dell representative and we got that fixed. he, on the phone, confirmed the order was all good and going to be shipped asap. and that the order had been aprooved. not only that. but he sent me emails about the confirmation too. today, I checked the order status. and it had been cancled AGAIN ! now. why was that ? no idea. dell can't answer either. no clue. I called dell's customer support. I was met with "its beyond what I can do" and "we cannot ship it, I will need your contact info and credit card number to issue a refund" because, aparently he doesn't have that. now. why was my accoutn not refunded when the order was cancled and why did I not get an email ? no clue. no one knows. I asked to speak to his supervisor (he didn't want to help me, and when he said he'd transfer me, he put me on hold and came back saying he spoke with his supervisor) aka bullshit. then he tranfered me to the sales department. wich asked me if I wanted help buying one of their products. (nah, he didn't tell them the issue ofc. just a direct transfer to a new dep) these guys then figured they coudn't do it. so they transfered me to the ORDER STATUS DEPARTMENT IN THE UNITED STATES. IM IN CANADA. the guy realised there was a problem. so he transfered me to his supervisor ! (what a relief I though) but nah. the guy gave me a number to call but decided to transfer me anyways to a closed department. wich just played music untill some ear peircing alarm went off and the phone call was ended. I knew the department was closed because the automated system told me it was when I called the number provided. is it over now ? no. my issue is still an issue. I contacted dell via twitter and they said they were "sorry" and to contact them via private messages. I only got an automated response from them as of right now. no consideration for the info I mentionned. just a "we got our team checking your status and submiting a refund" funny. considering I was told I needed to re-give my email, phone and credit card info. but those guys didn't ask. in the end. its simple. don't buy from dell, their products are ok. the PR and CS teams arn't. hell. I had less trouble with HP than those guys. and even Logitech sent in extra pairs of their g933 headphones when my first pair broke. so I shall rate them. Dell's website : 7/10. its hard to use and prices is all over the place Dell's customer support : 2/10. they arn't all bad. the first time with my laptop went fine and the lady was nice. got resolved quickly. second one tho. well, they left me hanging. Dell's phone calls : 1/10 coudn't hear anything the guys in canada could say. though if you speak to the supervisor I spoke to on the US side, he had a decent accent. Dell's care for its customer : 0/10. you are not worth their time. and they are not worth your money.

I can afford any part on my list. For example, I can get the case and the PSU. I just don't know what to get, should I get the CPU, case and PSU, motherboard, liquid cooler, or something else?

Alright so I have been trading on CSGO for quite a while ... I've gotten from 30$ to about 200$ and i decided to cash it all out on paypal .... after some minor purchases either on steam or some other games i'm left with about 150$ I want to buy a mechanical keyboard called MOTOSPEED ck104 infilictor because of it's price, looks, reviews and basically because it's mechanical and my cheap membrane is wearing off pretty quicky with some letters dissapearing. I have 150$ on a non-verified paypal ( i don't have it verified because i don't have a credit card because I'm only 17 ). Is there a way around to buy that keyboard ( and yes I found it ) on Amazon instead of forcing myself to buy from highly unreputable site Gearbest ( shipping time is like 60 days and they say it's 30 ) ... I can not buy gift cards because as far as I know you can't do it in Europe. I way thinking of buying it from Ebay, it is high shipping time but still lower than 60 days but it's out of stock for now at least the last time i checked. Thanks in advance.

I placed an order on NCIX 3 weeks ago. at the time, the items were in stock, but 3 days after I received an email telling me that only 1 item was shipped and that the others (11) where Pending Shipment and Back ordered. What the actual ƒ*₡₭ ? Also, they took 13 days to reply to my ticket. anyone experiencing the same situation or is only me?

I tried to also contact LTT directly by responding to the merch order email & sending a email to different address, but no answer on either yet. Even a simple, yes we have problems would be okey. On black Friday, Acer had a sale on Amazon.com on their Acer predator Helios 300 for $930 and I placed an order. I selected shipping address and chose payment option of credit card. I added a new credit card and payed(coz I get more points with this credit card). On the same day within minutes I received an order confirmation email, but on 1st December I got an email saying my account is locked and orders are on hold for security reasons. My orders tab was blank. I went through customer service and got my account back, but it cancelled my order, for security reasons. How do I get my order back. Has this happened to anyone else, if so please tell me how you got your order back, if you got it back. I went through customer support, but they kept telling me to just order again like it's nothing, despite me telling them the price has increased by $150. After multiple attempts, someone from their customer service team said they would send a mail to the higher sales department or something. Does anyone know how to get my order back. Please I took engineering graphics in school and need this laptop for CAD. My old one struggles to even run Minecraft and takes 10 minutes to load auto cad, and 2 minutes to do anything (even moving the mouse). I ordered form amazon.com(so on top of the price I have to pay for customs and shipping.) instead of amazon.ae(the Amazon for people in the UAE) Because it is still cheaper than amazon.ae even after shipping and taxes. Today I ordered a GTX 1060 from NCIX. It is the 6GB Gigabyte ITX model, and was in-stock while I ordered it. Soon after, the item went on back order. Now, It has been processed verified, all that and now "Shipped" has been checked. I'm guessing this means that it should be on it's way soon? I see no sign telling me if I am actually going to get my item soon, if I even have one coming right now, or anything... Is there any way that I can tell if it is coming? btw, i ordered it today, at noon, so I'm guessing I'll have to wait to see an accurate tracking.

After Windows is installed, what order should the boot devices be at? This is currently the order with only one hard drive inside my machine, for some reason it is giving me four. I ask this because tomorrow I am getting an SSD and re-installing Windows on it. I am aware that the DVD drive should be the first in the order of boot devices when installing Windows. However, once Windows is installed on my new SSD. What are order should the drives be? What are the extra drives I see?
