So was working tonight and came back from a break and my monitor had switched inputs. When switching back to my work laptop it would go to a black screen and then switch back to my other computer. Thought I might be crazy so I rebooted my work laptop, tried a different cord, and nothing changed. I just so happened to have a new SFF pc near so I hooked it up and got the same thing. Got a different cable and now was able to get a display but it had a flicker and distortion on it. Not sure what could cause this the monitor has 2 computers normally hooked up, gaming PC is on DP and work laptop is on HDMI. If anyone has any ideas of what to try or what could cause this please let me know

I have an MSI Optix Mag27cq with a broken screen my 6 y/o pushed it over, and definitely would like to repair it. Anyone know where I can buy a used or new replacement screen for this monitor ?? Thanks Manuel

I hope this is in the right place, not sure if the issue is with the monitors, card or software settings. Here's my situation: I recently purchased PC from microcenter: https://www.microcenter.com/product/615138/powerspec-g162-gaming-desktop-pc The one I had received had a Radeon RX580 by PowerCooler: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rKgzK8/powercolor-radeon-rx-580-8gb-video-card-axrx-580-8gbd5-3dhdv2oc Board if at all important is an ASRock B450M/AC: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/kcCFf7/asrock-b450mac-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450mac -The only changes I added were a 1TB 2.5 SSD and 3 fans into the case. -Fully updated Windows 10 and all drivers that I could find for AMD, Ect. -I was running one new MSI Optix MAG241 Series Monitor with no issues via Direct HDMI cable for a few days and decided I wanted to run two displays. -I used a Vizeo TV as a second monitor for a few days and since the RX580 only has one port for HDMI, I purchased an HDMI to DisplayPort adaptor to make the connection. -The TV did not have any issues at all while using both that and the first MSI Monitor. -I purchased a second matching monitor, the MSI Optix MAG241 Series as well this week and hooked it up via the included HDMI cable to the same new DisplayPort adaptor. -Everything seemed to be okay for a minute until I opened World of Warcraft. Both of the screens start flickering and tearing everywhere. -Any game or things graphically intense just start to flicker the screen. -I thought it could be issues with the FreeSync, Vertical syncing, Cable Adapter connection or the use of HDMI. Turning off FreeSync does drastically seem to help but sometimes intermittent. -I went out and bought two new Displayport cables to avoid any adaptors and get rid of the HDMI aspect of it in case that was it. but no change at all. -Oddly enough, I've noticed that if I go into the AMD Eyefinity setup the screens will stop flickering and work as expected. If I then exit that mode the screens will stay okay until they are shut off again as long as FreeSync is also turned off... I still am noticing massive amounts of flickering if I have AMD Freesync enabled. Turning this off has seemed to help but nothing at this point has fully resolved it. -I also took out and reseated the graphics card after it started happening to be sure it was not somehow dislodged or something in the slot. I'm completely at a loss if anyone has any ideas or things I might be missing. Been out of the PC world for a while so all this is a little new to me. Hoping it's a stupid oversight. So I have been having a weird issues as of late with my MSI G24C monitor. The bottom inch to two inches will have issues displaying the pixels. Almost like they are frozed up. After I leave the monitor on for 10 to 20 minutes the pixels come back showing full display with no lag or any issues at all. Just after it has been turned off for a bit. (Had full screen flicker the other day but it seems to have stopped completely as well) Any help on possibly identifying the cause would be amazing. I have tried different display port cables, and hdmi cables, both having the same issue. Also same issue with two different video cards, GTX 1060 3gb and now Radeon Vega 64. I am fairly certain it is the monitor itself, but is it something I should be worried about immediately or is this common? P.S. I did try using the search to see if this has been addressed before but I was unable to find something with the same issue. My apologies if I missed it.
