Why can’t the phone just mirror its screen rather than requiring closed interface like android auto and apple car play? Plus this closed interface will limit the life of the feature (depending on when a update fails on one of the device - car or phone) and its functionality. Wish the implementation was designed like how we control the volume of smartphone with the headphone jack; simple interface with nothing to hack. For example, the phone and car cannot write any data to each other only read what data is presented to them. In the case of external touchscreen just the input from the display is relayed to the phone which is paired/trusted, similar to how usb-OTG and bluetooth is paired. And for audio and mic the phones output is accepted by the car. -
Hello, recently I built a pc with these specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x CM Hyper 212 RGB AMD Radeon RX 5700 xt 600W 80+ bronze PSU Samsung M.2 500GB G.Skill trident ram 16gb 2x8 Seagate 2TB Gigabyte x570 UD NZXT H510 It has begun to seemingly lose power whilst gaming espically, but also while just on the desktop before as well. When it does shutoff, the screen goes black, the fans stop spinning, but the rgb on the RAM is still on throughout the whole thing as well as the light on the power button on the top of the case. This makes me think that its not a PSU issue, This is a list of everything ive done. Ran DDU and reinstalled Radeon drivers Ran the pc with a different PSU and still experienced a crash Re-seated all power connectors in the PC Ran Malware bytes Verified the windows install verified that the PC crashed on different games Checked the temperatures all which were all below 65 just before a system crash Ran an occt stress test on psu and gpu and no crash Ran Uniengine Superposition and no crash Ran heaven and had a few crashes after this i reinstalled the gpu drivers clean Other facts of note It crashes the most when playing cod modern warfare MSI afterburner says it is drawing about 170-210 watts before a crash while gaming After a crash it says Radeon Wattman settings have crashed due to an unexpected failure I ran SFC /scannow and it found no corrupt files I have tried different C-13 cables for the PSU The PC bsod-ed once and it was when i tired updating gigabyte appcenter, i uninstalled it and have not had any bsods since I updated the BIOS a few weeks ago Sorry for a beast of a post. Hi, all. I'm working on a custom case lighting system for Arduino and some WS2812B led's. For those of you who don't know, these are configurable LED's much like NZXT's HUE+ system. "Why don't you just use a Huie+?" You ask? Because I don't like it, and instead of moan and complain I decided to be proactive and devise my own fix. Advantages include cheaper and more widely accessible parts, full customizablity with various WS***** LED's and best of all it's all open source and based on an Arduino. This means a large community dedicated to solving issues or creating their own new light shows. I've put together a video of what I've developed so far. It's incredbily basic however I'm looking for coders to help me with a UI and further custom LED sequences.

So my PC crashed a few days ago with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I looked it up and it seems like it might be a problem with the cpu voltage. I am running an i5-4690k 4.2 ghz at 1.175 vcore. After my computer restarted, I noticed that my fan speeds rise a lot (really audible) whenever I open anything i.e. chrome tab, chrome, any application, pretty much any possible thing you can think of. I also use corsair link 4 since I have a corsair h100i. But there are no fan control settings in there. I tried SpeedFan which was recommended by JayzTwoCents and even though I have them set to a fixed rpm, they still ramp up. Does anyone know what the problem might be? What should i do to fix this?

So I absolutely LOVE the epic music in movies like Lord of the Rings and stuff like that where they have huge landscape shots and fantastic orchestral (opera?) music playing. Something like this stuff: I love listening to that kind of music but it is ruined by my Apple headphones that came in the box, they're good just not what I want. So I'm looking for good quality headphones and I heard open back headphones give a nice open sound stage or something so I guess that's like being in a concert hall which would be fantastic. I don't mind having to get an amp or dac or whatever I just need it to work well from the back of my PC through whatever power device and into my headphones so I can listen to epic music. No budget right now but I can save up pretty quickly to meet whatever costs but nothing like $1000 or something crazy like that. Thanks!

I recently found myself needing to open my phone for a minor repair but I don't seem to have a screwdriver small enough to open those screws and I don't want to strip them. They're really tight in there. Is there a special small screwdriver that I should get? Or some other tool to help with it as well.

So i got my hands on these nice pieces, http://europe.beyerdynamic.com/shop/dt-770-pro.html And http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?scy=IT&slg=EN&ctn=X2HR/00 The price range is huge, the DT770 Pro is closed and the Fidelio X2HR is open. Never i had such products only Gaming headsets which are fine, Thought to step my game up and have some nice Headphones to test. I have no idea how i should test which one i like tho, when putting them on the Fidelio X2HR is heaven compared to the DT770 Pro. The X2HR looks very good but is kind of huge compared to the DT770 Pro which i find stunning aswel. To begin with should i change anything in windows? Like there are Enchancements and Spatial sound which i never seen before as an option. (i really should look into this stuff) Got alot of Quality settings compared to my old Corsair H1500 Gaming headset they are both directly connected to my Motherboard using the 3,5 without any special sound card or amp. From what i can hear now is that the DT770 Pro has a bit more of a heavier bass. Im not really out of the Closed and open headset dilemma. What and how do you recommend me getting a final result on which I really want ? Pure audio aimed, that the Fidelio X2HR is way more comfortable overtime is a fact, but the DT770 Pro isnt bad at all! Am i missing some points to get the full experience out of these things?

Hello everyone, when I try to open a DNG file with PS (camera raw), the program itself opens but does absolutely nothing. I updated it, but didn't solve the issue. It previously worked, though, so I have no idea of what changed inbetween. DNGs are taken with a OnePlus 3. Camera Raw version is 9.7 and PS is 2017. I tried multiple files, the difference in outcome is that sometimes PS stops working instead of not reacting. Any ideas? Thank you for your time, EMENCII

So it seems like this type of headphone is the best unless I want noise cancelling. I listen to a variety of music ranging from metal to casual songs. I'm also going to play games with it. What would be the best option with my budget? [Edited] I also want the headphone to have not much impedance so that I won't need an amp.

Hi there, I'm a bit new to this forum, but I figured this would be the best place to ask this, as I can't find exactly what I'm searching for through Googling. Batch scripting is my most comfortable area in terms of automating repetitive tasks on the computer. As such, I'd like to know if there is a way to automatically close out of a running program when launching a certain game. For example, "close RivaTuner when PUBG starts" and then "open RivaTuner once PUBG closes". If the latter isn't possible, how would I go about forcing RivaTuner open when I run other steam games? I know I can run straight from the file location, but for some games steam doesn't like this, so I'd like to find out a way to run the steam shortcut for booting up a game and automatically starting RivaTuner at the same time. Thanks!

I plugged my display to my MOBO by accident then to my graphics card, i sw some performance dips in CSGO but nothing too bad but when i open adobe premiere pro i get an error. please help. thank you

Howdy, I bought my 990's almost 3 years ago. Yesterday, while I was playing, suddenly the left speaker stop working, just out of the blue. I opened up the housing to check if the cables were torn or something and everything seemed fine. I tried twisting the cables to check if it had something to do with the coiled wiring (I really didn't like the coiled thing). Still not working. Not sure what to do really, so I guess I have to buy new ones and I need your help (or maybe there's a fix somehow). Here are a few conditions, habits, etc: - It has too be open. I like the extra soundstage, also want to hear what's going on around me. - Budget is around 160 euros. Maybe I can stretch a bit more if it's really worth it. - The headphones will only be used on my PC. - I currently have an Asus Xonar DGX sound card, I will upgrade it soon (any suggestions on what sound card I should get?) - I mainly game and listen to music, games like World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Forza Horizon 3, GTA V. And I mainly listen to House, Drum and Bass, Funk and the eventual Classic Rock. - The bass doesn't need to be too boomy, I found the DT 990's bass to be fine overall, could be a bit better though. I was looking at Sennheiser HD 558 / 598 Special Edition / AKG K 701 / 702 / Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X. Are these any good for me? I can buy them on amazon UK or kuantokusta.pt which is a portuguese website where it shows the cheapest options in my country. Thanks in advance.

Hi I want to host a open air cinema this summer. There are going to be around 100 peoples so I need a big screen. The best way is a projector. I don't know a lot about projectors when it comes to admitted light or contrast. I need your help. As of now I plan to use my own Benq W1000 as renting a projector is quit expensive. The cinema will start around 11 pm so the sky should be dark by then, even in July. Will this work with that projector. I used https://www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-W1000-projection-calculator-pro.htm to calculate but I don't know all the units and what they stand for. 4m (13feet) screen would be fine for me. I know there is probably 5 million of these already, and as such I expect zero response from the necessary peeps, but I really want to open a conversation with the guys in LTT(primarily el honcho himself). I'm considering starting a channel myself here in Ireland and would be open to doing a couple of intro sessions/contributor streams on WAN show etc to see if there is market appeal. Would love to hear feedback.

Hey all, Today I came home, turned on my PC, and noticed that my keyboard wasn't working or even lighting up. I tried another USB port, and sure enough, it worked. So now I know that something is wrong with my USB port, but I am not sure want to do. All of the other USB ports work and the PC works fine. I am now wondering if there is an easy way to fix this, or should I see if I can get a replacement from warranty. If you're wondering, my mobo is the ASRock AB350 Pro4. I also heard some weird sounds coming from my Cooler Master ML120, and I checked for any leaks: there were none. Thanks ahead of time for any help. Edit: I also have a bent RGB header on my board so it wouldn't be a horrible thing for me to try and get a replacement

Hello all, I am trying to play MW2 on PC. My friend picked it up and was able to find a game or two and play but I am not... His not type is open but mine is strict. I have UPnP enabled, Forwarded all of the MW2 and Steam ports to my PC, put my PC on a static IP, disabled my firewall in Windows 10, Uninstalled my Antivirus, Factory Reset my router, Verified game files and even completely uninstalled it. My PC has 8700k, 16GB ram, and a 1070 so hardware is fine if that for some reason had and effect, and for internet I have Gigabit fiber from my ISP going to a Nighthawk X6 with cat6 hardwired to my PC. Game was bought on steam so legit copy. Was also able to play this game before. If anyone knows something else I can try please let me know
