On my Oneplus 10 pro the top bar, where you see your battery life wifi signal and so on, cut the mobile data icon off and from there on to the left shows no other icons even though there should be more. I have already restarted it, where it got stuck in a boot loop for around 5h and it did not help with the icon problem and i use the newest firmware. Greetings from Germany

So as the title suggest I am currently looking for a new phone and I am torn between those 3. The pixel and oneplus phones are already in the market and I can't really decide which one to choose. The pixel has better cameras but a smaller battery size, worse charging speed, only uses 1 nano and 1 esim (which is not really that known yet here in the Philippines) and I am not really sure if the tensor g2 even supports aptx. Meanwhile, the oneplus has worse camera but has a 100w charging albeit no wireless charging and supports 2 nano sim cards. The pixel is more expensive in my country but I have been seeing a lot issues and bugs about the oxygen os that was once one of the best android os. I am also considering waiting for the nothing phone 2 but I am not sure if it will be much more expensive than the phone 1 and there is still no release date yet. Which one do you guys think is the better buy or decision that I should make? Thank for the help!

So what's the better buy for new flagship? Oneplus and honor both good whit new snapdragon 8 gen 2, pixel slower, but cheaper than both of them(pixel 8, who knows) Not very interested in camera performance, nor gaming. Don't really need wireless charging, but fast charging is + Looking for good battery life and future support. Don't know the pricing on Honor yet, but it will be around 1100 euros in my region. Oneplus 11 currently is 950 euros Pixel 7 pro 850 Pixel 8/8 pro(who knows) Currently using mi 11 ultra, but whit every update that comes to it, I get less and less battery life, yeah it has fast wired and wireless charging, but it's annoying, currently(when writing this post) I'm on vecation and I can't even use phone for whole day, whitout needing to charge it one more time(doing full charge every morning). Doing 1080p, 60 Hz, battery saver on. My gf has S23 ultra, and she can easily do all day(maps, internet, social) whit even battery left when we are back at hotel(around 8-10 hrs), don't offer me s23 ultra, don't like samsung ui Tnx for help

So which one worth the buy? Don't really do much photography whit phone and no gaming. Best one for everyday use. Both are same price point in my country, around 850 euros for 128gb models. Currently using MI 11 ultra 256gb, loved the miui, but latest 14, is trash, promised a lot of changes, got nothing as usual Have had oneplus 8t in past, liked the oxygenOS back then, are there a lot of changes? Tnx for help

Hello there! I own an OnePlus Nord which comes with a 45W Charger in the Box and the classic red OnePlus cable. If I use the 45W Charger with the red cable, I can use Warp-Charging which charges my phone from 0-100% in about 35 minutes. Although the cable is super short, and if I use the same Charger with a different cable, I cannot warp charge and it takes waayyy longer to charge. What kind of cable do I need to use warp Charge? Does it have to be by OnePluse, or are there other cables which support 45W charging? Thanks in advance! EDIT: Perhaps it was 30W and not 45W... Although that does not change my problem

I recently bought a new oneplus 8T, a phone I've been wanting to switch from my aging iphone se 1st gen. I used oneplus' inbuilt application Oneplus Switch. So I got my photos but there's a small problem, some of the photos, particularly images from my previous iphone 4, have defaulted to the date 1/1/1970 and 2/1/1970 (dd/mm/yyyy). If anyone could help me fix this that would be great :)) I've provided some screenshots in case Many thanks

I can't seem to find any information on how or why this is happening, but whenever I take a photo within the Instagram app, it seems to add a huge amount of smoothing and color blowout. This happens with both the front and rear facing cameras, while the stock camera app doesn't share the issue. I'm wondering if there is a way of turning this "feature" off or anything I can do to make photos taken in the app like the ones from the stock camera app.

Hello good people of the internet. The time had come for changing out my Samsung Galaxy S10, the phone has served me good with xx times falling out of my pockets into the woode deck or steel deck and still working. But now the battery life is terrible and screen is acting funny... This time i wont be using money on high end phones, but something more affordable. I really only have one demand and that is 5G. Good camera, 3.5mm and waterproof is nice to have also I have been looking at two phones mainly. Nr 1 is Sony Xperia 5 II refurbished, i can get this for 5500nok and then it comes with 2 years warranty, new screen and new battery. Nr2 is Oneplus Nord2, this is u can get for about 4900NOK u will get 5g for that, but not waterproof, no expand slot and no 3.5mm.. Was also looking at the Xperia 10 III, but it seems like this is not that good for that money, and if i add 1000nok more or something i can get a almost new Xperia 5 II.. So does anyone have any suggestions?

I found this on Oneplus' Y1S series TVs. This is too much copying of words for me. Any of you got any more examples of things like this happening?

I've always been a "buy the old used or refurbed" guy since I can remember, but that is mainly because I couldn't afford anything else. I still lean heavily towards going for older generations of phones because of value, but I'm having trouble deciding on whether I should purchase my first brand new phone, or go for a used one yet again. I like the looks of the Oneplus 7T. Brand new it's going for $400, and I've found a used model for $200. Would saving the initial $200 make up for 2 years of initial wear on the phone? Interested to see opinions, or even other phone suggestions if I'm way off base considering the 7T. Thanks!

For a couple of weeks, my oneplus 6t is having network issues, over wifi at my home. Even sitting next to router doesn't help. The speed test shows reasonable speeds around 40-50 mpbs for up and down but the apps won't work properly. It will take a while for data to load on apps. For example, Amazon app will open but it won't show anything. Same goes for many other apps. Games will go "time Out", works fine on mobile data. At first I though my internet sucks, so I tested in on desktop, laptop and other mobile devices. All seems fine, next I thought that it might be retirement time for my phone, it being over 3 years old now. I even started looking into new phones. I mentioned it to my family members and turns out they all have same problem and use OnePlus devices: 7T and 9R. Today, I was googling something over my phone, and I clicked on a Wikipedia page and it won't open. The same page open instantaneously on my other phone, Mi Note 4 running Pixel Experience Rom. I tried accessing the same webpage on my phone over the Wi-Fi but using proton VPN, and it opened. Although it is an option to use VPN all the time but banking app doesn't work over VPN and I don't have a subscription either. What am I missing? I did a reset my router and Network reset on the phone. I get no time out on ping on windows. My ISP is Alliance broadband and my router is D-link DIR-825ACG1 IS any one else facing this issue?

Summary Following last month’s announcement that OnePlus was integrating with Oppo, effectively becoming a sub-brand of the phone manufacturer, the company announced that it’s also merging codebase of OxygenOS and Oppo’s ColorOS operating system. Quotes This Post also includes Android update schedule for it's devices. My thoughts I think this might be the end of OnePlus. Being known for excellent software support I personally don't like this change at all. Been using OnePlus 7 and experiencing buggy Android 11 update, we all know where this all is going. Sources https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/update-to-the-oxygenos-codebase-and-software-maintenance-schedule.1462181/ https://www.theverge.com/2021/7/2/22560765/oneplus-oxygenos-coloros-oppo-android-updates

Purchased a OnePlus Nord N100 phone in April 2021 and new Oxygen11 OS completely halted all carrier data and SMS services. Problem with the new Oxygen 11 has been documented on OnePlus forums with no solution so far. https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygen-os-11-no-internet-data-after-upgrade.1419288/ Phone is completely useless outside of wifi for data. Tried uninstalling Oxygen 11 and installing Oxygen 10 which only lasted 48 hours before it auto-downloaded and restarted itself to employ Oxygen 11, after auto-updates disabled in developer mode. Customer service for OnePlus fights you and only suggests posting in their forums in hopes that a software developer can rewrite a line of code to fix this...if they feel like it. $270, two 6-hour phone calls later and no solution.

So I can change a phone. Currently I have an iPhone XR 64gb, and although it still works fine, and I don't have a real problem with it (other than storage), sometimes new phone deals pop-up, and I'm wondering whether I should change.. As of this week, OnePlus Nord 8/128gb, OnePlus Nord CE 5G (8/128GB), Samsung Galaxy A72 A725 (6/128gb), and the Poco F3 6/128gb are on a sale. I am wondering whether it would be better to upgrade (or change) to any of those. My main purpose on the phone would probably be (watching) YouTube followed by messaging (whatsapp/email) / webbrowsing and IG. With my dataplan I can pretty much pick up any of these phones for a few bucks or perhaps even free depending on the right deal and time. At this point I am quite unfamiliar with android, but a concerning thing was that I heard Poco (but also others), have bloatware but also ads integrated in their phones. Now to me it sounds quite ridiculous to have ads on a product you buy, and although I understand this is a marketing/business thing to make the phones so cheap, I still wouldn't want any ads on my phone system. It's already (annoying) enough to see them on certain apps. So the question would be, is that something than you can remove from the phone or are you stuck with that? Anyhow, I'd generally would like to hear some peoples thoughts on this matter. Is good to change? What do you think of these phones Or would you recommend anything else? Thanks!

Goodmorning, afternoon, or evening LTT forums, this is my first post so bare with me. I have recently discovered an error with my sms service that google has failed to answer. Recently I have been texting on my Oneplus 7 with someone on an apple device. Due to this conventional sms is used by the devices. On two occasions now I have sent text to my friend and she has received completely different messages. I'm a very tech savvy guy, but this one has me stumped, I was hoping someone from the forums here could point my pebble brain into the right direction. Here's a screen shot of one of the occurances. The top Right green message is the one I sent. The message in qouted following the "questioned" is the message she received. Everything I know about the sms ecosystem shouldn't cause this type of error, or am I missing something?, Please help....

Hi folks! Currently I am using the Oneplus 7t pro. And I am considering the s21 because the oneplus is really too big and heavy. But then as you know there are downgrades that I have to make, such as charging speed, screen resolution, RAM, etc. I also can get a student discount with 10% off. And maybe sell the oneplus. Should I buy the s21? or maybe wait for the oneplus 9?

So recently got burned by samsung s20(exynos(I live in EU) ) because of very bad battery, so I returned it and now im on hunt for new phone. Decided to go for oneplus, because new samungs will come whit exynos and I don't want to get burned 2nd time. So which is the better value for money from those onepluses? Is the 90hz on 8 noticeably worse than 120hz(currently have poco x3 nfc whit 120hz screen) ? Is even pro worth paying extra(I can get 8t, 8 at same price)? Dose 12gb ram is better than 8 on them(I'm not a heavy user, all ways close apps when stop using them) ? I know oneplus will soon release new phones, but I don't think they will be that much better(maybe the 888 in them but I think current cpu is good for years to come). P. S I can get 12/256 GB oneplus 8 at the same price as 8t 8/128gb. Tnx for help

So I'm on an hard choice between oneplus 8 and 8t. Contestants are: 1. Oneplus 8 12/256gb Interstellar Glow for - 635 euros 2. Oneplus 8t 8/128 aquamarine green for - 635 euros Pros for 8: 1. more ram and memory 2.90hz eats less battery 3.more premium look, because of curved glass Pros for 8t: 1.120 hz display 2. Faster charging 3.bigger battery(tho 120hz will eat that difference) 4. Comes whit newer Android out of the box(so probably will get 1 major update more than 5. One more camera, tho I think useless for me(as macro on both phones) Those differences aside they are both equali powerful in my opinion. The biggest problem for me is the price, both cost the same, but 8 has more ram and storage. I use my phones carefully whit cases and screen protectors, so I don't mind curved screen. Need your opinions which one to buy. Tnx for help

I've just switched from a Oneplus 6 to a Oneplus 8 Pro, but I can't seem to be able to open the android auto app. On my 6 I can just open it without connecting it to a car. My car doesn't have android auto, but I like the interface on the phone. Both apps show "Installed from Google Play Store" and this is the same app, as far as I can tell. On my 8 Pro I can't open it from the settings or the Play Store. Sorry it's in Dutch ._. On the left are the settings from my Oneplus 6, on the right the 8 Pro. Both phones are running android 10. Online topics tell me to install the Android Auto for phone screens app. But this is not available in my country and is also not installed on my Oneplus 6. I can open the app using the "additional settings in app" at the bottom of the settings, but I cannot get to the main part of the app. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?

I noticed one weird thing on my oneplus 7T pro device. At low or 10% to 30% brightness Lock screen background wallpaper looks weird distorted with the fingerprint security. without fingerprint enabled lock screen looks good at low brightness. Hey, I have my oneplus 5 for a while now and seeming it was confirmed that no new android updates are coming to this phone I am considering buying a new one. I hoped a oneplus 8t pro would've come but sadly it was only the 8t that was launched. My budget is anything under 1500 euro's (so actually a really high range). Should I wait for the oneplus 9 pro? (the big thing that is bothering me about my phone now is that the battery seems to be kinda dying really quick) Or do you guys have any other suggestions :D?

I'm using Asus Zenfone 3 for past 3+ years. Had no problem with it until recently. It started to hang often, stutters while opening just a couple of apps (4GB RAM). So i decided to change the phone. I wanted to buy Asus Zenfone 7 but it's not yet available in India. Recently OnePlus 8T got launched and it looked impressive. My Mom is using OnePlus 7T and it gave me a good opinion about OnePlus, even though I don't prefer Chinese Brands. 8T is priced ₹42999 (8GB/128GB), ₹38699, if availed some offers on amazon. I have no idea how Asus is going to price their phones in India. Asus ROG3 is currently selling at ₹49999. Some techsites claim Zenfone 7 will come to Indian Market around November first week. Will Asus launch in India with price lesser than 8T? Should I wait for Asus Zenfone or Buy 8T right now? My Budget is ₹40000.

Does anyone know when this phone will be restocked in the UK. It's been a whole month and there's no sign of them restocking it.

This is my first post, I'm a long time LTT fan but never a forum user, but this issue drove me to create an account just to post about the radio silence I've gotten from Carl Pei's new venture into the smartphone world I got the Nothing Phone (1) on release day as I had been tracking it with interest and my old One Plus Nord just happened to break a few days before the release, I received the Phone (1) on the 27th of July and was pretty impressed however thought it seemed very fragile, well it seems my fears were correct, I dropped the phone from a small height, less than a foot, and the entire back glass (Under which lies the phones big USP) smashed and the phone itself also now has a slight bend. This happened on the 2nd of August and I immediately created a support ticket as this is how you are supposed to initiate an RMA, after a week of hearing nothing back at all except for the email to confirm that my ticket had been created, I created yet another ticket requesting the same thing and mentioning how I hadn't heard anything back yet. It's now been another 2 days and still have not heard anything from either tickets. On top of this the phone itself is apparently extremely difficult to repair even if you can manage to find the very very limited spare parts that are out there. I'm super disappointed with this process so far and was just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues so far or could help in any way. Thanks, Andrew
