https://pcpartpicker.com/b/92tJ7P Gaming and Productivity Build! Plays all games at 1440p on max settings at 60+ fps! I have not tapped into the full potential of the system yet but am very excited to do so! I wanted to make as most of my things white so if I get RGB lighting stuff in the future it will reflect off the white surfaces. I have only one problem with the system and that is the retailer that sold me the hard drive have me the wrong hard drive and it is not working properly. However it seems like I will be able too mail it in and receive a replacement pretty easily.

Hi. I need a new cooler, for my new i7 6700k processor. I have thought about Corsair Hydro Series h115i or NZXT Kraken x61. I want a cooler there has a good build quality, and don't make so much noise. I won't change the stock fans in the beginning, but maybe later i will change them, so maybe you have some suggestions. I have a Corsair 670t case, so my plan is to put the radiator in the top, pulling the hot air out of the case. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am planning to go with Liquid Cooling option. I am bit confused in choosing between Corsair H110i GTX or NZXT Kraken X61. Please help me choosing. I feel that the comparison should be based on: 1. Pricing 2. International Warranty 3. Performance (obviously). 4. Build Quality

I would like to know whether the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 will support NZXT Kraken X61 on top of the case with or without push pull configuration.

So I just got my Enthoo luxe and I plan on getting a NZXT Kraken X61. In the manual I'm supposed to plug the fan hub into the Cpu Header. But the cooler has to get plugged into the same header. Do I have to get a y-splitter or am I missing something. The board is a Gigabyte GA 990FX Gaming motherboard.

Hello, I'm not completely sure if my CPU and GPU temps are normal. I have an i7 6700K and a GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) and while playing CS:GO at 1080p maxed out, I get around 298 FPS. My CPU gets to 40C(highest) and the GPU to 69C(highest.) The CPU is cooled by an NZXT Kraken X61 280mm. Please let me know if these are normal temps. By the way, the ambient temp is around 75F. Regards, Richard

Hey LTT community, my finances finally allowed for building a new rig, and I made a mistake by ordering a NZXT X61 280mm AIO water cooler and a Master Case Pro 5. I realize now that the Pro 5 only has support for a 240mm top rad, and I would have to mount the X61 in the front. I was hoping I could get some feedback or suggestions, the way I see it, I have the following options / outcomes: The Pro 5 supposedly is able to take 2 x 140 mm fans, so I could open the box and experiment with fitting the X61 in the top - does anyone have any experience with trying to fit a 280mm radiator in the top of the pro 5? Is this possible at all? I could just settle on mounting the X61 in the front, but of course intaking hot air to the rest of the components isn't very desirable. Better to return for a different case, or just mount it on the front? If I decide to return the pro 5, any advice on alternatives? I like the Pro 5 for the following reasons: Feet that lift the case from the ground + easilly cleanable PSU bottom dust filter. I have dogs and dust / hair is a problem, so anything that reduces particle intake is very welcome. Removable drive bays / ability to put drives in the bottom section with the PSU Bottom PSU section to conveniently hide most cables Thumb screws that stay in place & the panels that don't just fall off Good cable management system, with smartly placed holes for mobo connectors, love the ones that hide the case IO My new build is as follows: CPU: I-7 6700k Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 MoBo: Asus Z170-Deluxe RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 4 x 8 GB DDR4-3200 Storage: Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2-2280 Video: ZoTac GeForce GTX 980 AMP! Omega Case: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 PSU: Corsair RMx 750w Bonus Question ( if anyone knows ): To get the full performance of the samsung 950 Pro, should I mount it directly on the Z170's m.2 slot, or use their "HyperKit" adapter? Thank you!

So I finally decided to buy my first aio liquid cooler from NZXT (Kraken X61) and I just have some questions to ask. 1.) Does it require more power? 2.) When setting up push pull config, which setup is better? a.) (Inside of case) || (2 140 air flow fans) |Radiator| (2 static pressured fans) || (Front intake) b.) (Inside of case) || (2 140 static pressured fans) |Radiator| (2 140 static pressured fans) || (Front intake) 3.) Please share some of your experiences (also risks) with AIO coolers. Thanks.

Hello friends, I am looking into an AIO water cooler unit for my rig. After a few hours of Googling and perusing through various forums it seems most people recommend one of these two AIOs: NZXT Kraken x61 Corsair H100i My current set-up is an i7 4790K, on an ASUS ROG Maximus VII Hero motherboard, nestled inside of a Corsair 760T case. There's a $30 aftermarket CPU cooler I bought off at Fry's and it...seems okay for now, but I'm considering overclocking the 4790K later on. I've read on some Newegg/Amazon reviews that some people were having issues with Corsair AIOs not always being fully seated on ASUS mobos? I think it may have been with the H100s not the H100is, and in any case sounds more like an installation error than an issue with the hardware itself, but if anyone has some opinions or experiences they'd like to share with me it would be appreciated. Also as a secondary question: I have the aftermarket CPU cooler and a AF140 fan mounted to the top of my case as an exhaust. If I were to install one of these AIOs would I end up replacing those two fans with the two fans on the AIO only? Thanks in advance! Edit: I should add that I'm willing to look at other AIO units besides these two — they just seem to be the most frequently recommended ones.

So I switched from the stock fans on the Kraken x61 to two Noctua NF-A14's and the noise level went way down and I'm getting ~4ºC less temperatures. It's worth it. Just thought I'd share for anyone who was on the fence.

Hey guys! First of all, sorry if this is on the wrong category, I think it's correct, but didn't find a "perfect one" for it . So, I decided it's time to upgrade the cooling on my pc. I have an NZXT s340 case, with an i5 4690k and an EVGA gtx 970 ssc. Right now I have nothing aftermarket when it comes to cooling. I'm using the stock cpu cooler from intel, and the two fans that come with the case. I figured I kinda want to watercool my CPU, for looks as well as better temperatures and less noice. My case supports up to 140mm radiator on the top as an exhaust or 280mm in the front as an intake. The way I see it I have 3 options: 1) 280mm rad on the front. In this case I'd either go for the NZXT Kraken X61(170$) or the Corsair Hydro H110i GT(139$), and I would buy 2 new fans for the back and the top of my case (I'm thinking noctua nf-f12(22$), but something with red LED's that is about as good, and not to expensive would be awesome). The problem in this case is that I'd be pushing hot air through the rad into my case, which is not exactly ideal. 2) 140mm rad on top. Here it's either the NZXT Kraken X41(142$), or the Cooler Master Nepton 140XL(87$) from what I've seen. Here I'd buy 3 new fans also I think, replacing the one on the back of the case, as well as adding two in front. In this case though, I'm unsure if the 140mm radiator would perform good enough to justify it's cost. Espesially the x41. 3) No watercooling, and I just go for a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo(37$) and 4 new fans for all the slots. I'm really confused as to what I should do, as I don't have too much experience in pc-building only what I learnt from youtube and while building my own pc earlier this year. I just want my pc to be a little more silent, and have better temps. (Well, technically it's a BIG "just", since that's what everyone wants, but you know ) Ultimately, I'd love to improve its looks as well and red leds on fans would help alot I think, since my build is black with red details. Any other solutions, or ideas are mostly welcome! I'm gratefull to all help I can get! *All prices listed are prices in my country converted to USD.

Hello everyone. Today I built my first PC: (Link: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/DeadEyeKozi/saved/P4YYcf) When I first booted up, I had my NZXT Kraken X61 Installed with all the drivers installed as well. I opened the CAM Software and at Idle I was getting 75-99 Degrees Celsius. I then took the cooler off my CPU and saw that the thermal paste was not spread out properly. I looked up the avg temperatures for the 4790k at Idle with this cooler and it was around 30 degrees celsius. I then personally thought that the way the thermal paste was spread could not create a 60 degree difference in temps so I wiped off the thermal paste and installed the stock cooler. Currently at idle, on the stock cooler, on Core Temp I am getting 45-65 degrees Celsius. However, on CPU-Z it says my core speed is 1.29ghz. I looked at other peoples results for stock cooling and I saw that they were getting around 40 degrees Celsius idle, but i'm not sure if CPU-Z said 4ghz So I believe that my CPU is thermal throttling, but I do not know what the cause is or how to fix it. Sorry if I haven't provided enough information, If anyone thinks they can help but need additional info, just ask me and Ill add it. I am really worried that these temps will ruin the lifespan of my CPU and as it cost $2800 AUD, it was a big investment. All the parts have warranty but I need to confirm what the problem is before I RMA anything. Once again, this was my first build so I do not know that much about problems like these but I can say that all the components are working correctly. Also, the system appears to be working fine, haven't run a stress test or game on it yet though. Anyway, all help is appreciated. Thanks

So I'm planning on buying an NZXT Kraken X61 watercooler but I want to know what the best configuration is considering airflow. I have the stock front triple 120mm fans and I replaced the back 140mm stock fan with an Fractal Design Silent series 140mm fan pushing air out. I'm planning on putting the watercooler at the top. Here are my PC specs: -i7 4790k -Gigabyte R9 280X -MSI Z97 Gaming 3 -8gb 1600 mhz RAM (very cheap :l) -1tb HDD and 250gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD So the question what is the best airflow configuration for my planned NZXT Kraken X61? If I need to buy anything that drastically increases the airflow or something like that, also tell me! THANKS!

I'm planning out some upgrades for the coming months, and would really like to know. Is there any significant difference between the two coolers? Should I maybe try to get a Kelvin S36 or H320? They will be cooling an i7 4790K at 4.7GHz/1.325V, probably in a Corsair 780T.

Will the NZXT Kraken X61 fit inside Fractal Design Define R4? I know it supports 280mm coolers, but people are saying that there are clearence issues with motherboard heatsinks. My mobo is Asus M5A97 R2.0.

I built a computer a few weeks ago, but left the country, (and sadly, my beloved new computer) on vacation a day or two later. I'm less than a week from coming back from my trip, and need to pick up a new AIO cooler to hopefully arrive at my house before then. (BTW, here's the link to my post a while back if anyone's interested, and here are my specs.) Why am I purchasing a new cooler, you ask? I had a catastrophic incident with my corsair h100i, where it functioned poorly and actually smoked out after two hours of extremely idle CPU use. Yes, it actually smoked out. The hardest the processor had to work was installing windows. So the part's been sent back and I'm in the market for a new closed loop. Please do not recommend kits or custom loop solutions. I am actually going to be custom cooling this whole thing next year so it really is entirely unnecessary right now. Thanks in advance. I'm currently wary of the Corsair closed loops, so while the h110 might otherwise be an option, I will likely not purchase it now. I'm certainly not buying another h100i. The real contenders, in my mind, seem to be: NZXT Kraken x61: My first choice right now, concerns will follow. Swiftech H220-X: Was not aware of this product until Linus' video, but I don't think I will buy it, as upgradeability isn't a concern right now as all of my parts are already on water. XSPC Raystorm 750 EX360: It's the only kit that fits in my price range and has been recommended to me multiple times. IMO it seems too loud, and I would pull out a majority of the parts out next year anyways, so it seems almost like a waste of money. Tubing included, it would run me ~$180 USD plus uncertainty and no warranty in the case of a leak. Cooler Master Seidon 240L: Too loud... Recommendations?: I really want to hear any suggestions that you guys may or may not have. Anything I may have missed would be vital. Thanks in advance. My most important concern: Will the NZXT Kraken reach the front of my Corsair 750D? That would be the most important piece of information I hope to ascertain by opening this thread. Kudos!
