Hi, Like a month ago i finished building my first gaming PC: i7 12700k on Gigabyte Z690 AERO G 32GB of 4800MHz Kingston Fury RAM Gigabyte Vision RTX 3080 10G LHR Lian Li Galahad 240 CPU Cooler Corsair RM850 2021 Edition PSU Built in the NZXT H510i Case I've got the 2 included case fans in the back and top getting air out of the case and the AIO in the front pushing air in the case through the radiator Idle temps are 24-30C for CPU and 47-50C for the GPU Yestarday I decided to stress test my PC I ran Cinebench R23 and FurMark at the same time for 30 minutes These are my recorded temps of i7-12700K CPU [#0]: Intel Core i7-12700K I am quite concerned about my CPU temps in this Case. As you can see the hottest cores managed to hit 100C in 30 mins of stress testing while running at a 22-23C ambient temperature. My room gets quite hot on summer time, in the 27-28C range, so I'm worried I might have some issues. Having the exhaust fans set to Performance in NZXT CAM, which gets them up to 100% at 65C CPU temp, the pump at 100% all the time, the AIO Fans on silent mode which gets them to 100% at like 70C CPU temp, and the GPU Fans on Auto, so they were averaging around 87-88%. What should I do to improve my temps? I thought about a push and pull configuration on my radiator, but I'm not quite sure on that because I only got about 3cm of space between my GPU and radiator. I'm afraid of having to either swap out the Case for one with better airflow, or having to mod it to add a mesh in the front. Hope someone can help me out, Thanks!

Hi Folks, I built my first PC about a year ago and the inexperienced me choose Intel i7-10700k, MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R AIO and NZXT h510i from my local BestBuy. I am also getting a 3070Ti soon and want to make sure everything works okay. With this setup, my thermals are bad and the system thermal throttles even with light loads. CPU Core temps are : 55-65C (idle), 90C-99C (light -medium loads) and 99C (heavy loads). I currently have AIO mounted in the front with fans pulling air from the front, stock fans pushing fans out of the back and top. Any suggestions to improve thermals and get decent performance out of this system? I also have the following ideas and let me know if they will help, Taking the AIO cooler out and mounting it outside the system. I will have the tempered glass panel removed. (Not elegant and I don't want to spend more money on case/ cooler soon. I am concerned about dust getting logged into radiator fins). Dremel out some square cuts outs on the front and top to improve airflow over the radiators. Or is there no hope and should I swap out for bigger cooler and spend money on a new case? Any way to salvage this? Does anyone else have a similar setup and overcome this issue? Thanks.

I’m on pcpartpicker and it say the following the Nzxt h510 atx mid tower case has a front panel usb 3.2 gen 2 type c port, but the gigabyte b450 Aorus m micro atx am4 motherboard does not have sufficient usb 3.2 gen 2 or gen 1 headers. The case usb 3.2 gen 2 type c port will not be usable. that what it say but what does that mean exactly.

Hi everyone As a long time LTT fan, I figured that this is the best place to ask my questions! I am currently planning on upgrading / adjusting my gaming system. The main reason for this is that I have bought a height-adjustable desk to which I added a computer mount (it looks pretty cool, keeps my computer off the ground and perfectly works with the cable management for an adjustable height desk). Currently, everything works fine, however, I have two goals: (1) I want to have a smaller and lighter case that better fits the computer mount (my current Fractal Design Define R6 is HUGE and pretty heavy with >12kg) and (2) I want to upgrade my graphics card (from an GTX 1080 to an RTX 3060TI). So why am I posting here? Well, it's about my open questions regarding (1) the case and motherboard compatability and (2) the GPU compatability overall. The Case: The NZXT H510 has peaked my interest due to its pretty clean and modern look, the pretty decent reviews (apart from airflow, I suppose), and the (for my purpose) suitable dimensions (H X W X D and weight). I have not decided between the base, i or elite version yet. My question in regard to choosing this case is pretty straighforward: Will I be able to use the front docks (USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C) with my motherboard, which only has USB Type-A and USB 3.1 slots (e.g. with an adapter)? If this does not work at all; any recommendations (e.g. other case)? The GPU compatability: With my current specs (see below), could there be any problems with the GPU upgrade to an RTX3060Ti? Do you think there could be any other challenges coming my way? Thank you very much in advance! Best regards Phil Disclaimer: I am new to PC building / upgrading (I initially bought my gaming PC and have been partly upgrading it over time). I watch alot of videos about it but have not yet build my own system. __________________________________________________________________________ Budget (including currency): All components (except case) are already in my possession / Budget: between CHF 50 - 180 for the case (approx. Hello. As the title states, I am having trouble getting my new PC to boot. I built it in the case first time, and nothing happened. I then built it outside the case on a wooden table, and it worked and brought me to BIOS, and all parts worked. I then built it back into the case, and it once again would not boot. My MB is the Asus Z390-A Prime, and my case is the NZXT h510. I feel like this may be a standoff problem of my motherboard touching the case and causing it to short/not boot for safety measures, but I don't know why that is the problem. The very middle standoff is just a pin instead of a screwhole, and my case came with a bag of standoff (see images below), but I don't know what they are used for. As you will find below, I have images of the MB backplate and standoffs that came with the case. In the first image, the very middle standoff/screwhole has a pin through it, and I don't know what this is for or if its a problem. Thank you in advance, I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given. https://imgur.com/gallery/eoSYU6m

So my girlfriend and I have the NZXT H510 case. We noticed that it came with a USB-C on the front panel, but when we try to use it, it doesn't work? I swear to God I plugged in the front panel connector to both of our motherboards when I built them. The power button and the USB-A on the front panel works fine. The USB-C on the back of both cases works perfectly. Am I missing something? I noticed there was a connector with a cap on it that came with the case when I was building the PCs, but it didn't have a label on it so I didn't know where to put it on the motherboard. My MB: MSI Z490-A PRO Girlfriend's MB: MSI Z390-A PRO

This may be straight forward for most of you, but I am a bit confused to say the least. I have an ASUS ROG Strix B450-F motherboard, which only has 3 chassi fan connectors. However I would like to connect a total of 4 fans. I currently have 4 fans mounted in the chassi, but I dont know what I need to install all of them on the motherboard. All fan splitters I found online were for PWM fans, but both my front intake fans have 3 pin connectors. Here is a link to the motherboard layout for reference

Hi! I just built my new PC in the NZXT H510. The case comes with two pre-installed outtake fans, 1x in the back and 1x at the top. I just installed another 2x 140mm fans in the front for intake, even though they might not contribute to a much cooler system they are better than nothing. Now to my question - will this in one way or another mess up the airflow? Is it an okay solution or am I missing something?

Hey, I am planning to build a pc and I really like the NZXT H510 as case. This one has a usb-c port but I am not sure what spec a motherboard should have to make this work. As a motherboard I have found the MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, which has a usb-c connection. Does this mean the port on the case should work with this motherboard or is it more complex than this? I am very new to this and not sure what to look for on a motherboard to make sure I can use this port on the case... Hope you can help me! Thanks in advance

Has anyone done hardline custom water cooling for the NZXT H510 (or the H500, pretty sure the only difference is the front panel)? The H510 is the case ive got and I want to do a hardline custom loop (using copper pipe), but im not sure if its feasible with the size of the case and my current components. In particular my graphics card (5700xt Sapphire Nitro+) is quite large compared to the case, and im not sure of the clearance. If anyone has any pictures or links to videos of people who have done this i'd appreciate it, seeing how others have done this (if many people have) would be pretty helpful to my own efforts to plan a loop.

Hey guys, this is my first post here so I am sorry if I chose the wrong topic. Here's my problem: I already have a Nzxt h510 case and the msi rtx 2070 super gaming x trio. Because the gpu is really long (32,5 cm I think) I am not sure if an AIO will actually fit. I am interested in nzxt kraken 240mm or enermax 240 aio and I would really like to have the fans inside so you can see them. The best way I thought of was to mount the radiator in the front behind the mounting bracket and have the fans on the inside of the bracket. So the bracket would be between radiator and fans. There should be enough room to fit the tubes through the bracket but I am concerned about the Temps of the cpu. I would appreciate your help.

Hi I'm new to building and was wondering if I will need extra fans for this case/build. Currently the build includes a Ryzen 7 3700x (planning on using the wraith prism cooler that comes with it), an rtx 3070 and an Asus strix X570-F motherboard. The case does come with 2 fans however I'm not sure if I will need more. Build- https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/LdJmV7

The PC specs are on my profile in case you're curious. The NZXT is cheaper, and that's nice but which one does a better job at cooling. I don't care about noise dampening... my main concern here is the airflow. I don't know which one cools better, but if the Define C cools better, I'll definitely spend the extra. If you disagree with both cases, you're welcome to place your recommendations in the chat below. Nothing too fancy. No LEDs, nothing like that. Just a simple sturdy case with good airflow... and maybe tempered glass as well. :P Help is much appreciated!

Hey All, Recently made my first build with nzxt h510 case, R5 3600, 2060 super and kraken x52 AIO. The case fans config are stock about rad fans are installed as intake in pull config at the front. Only turned xmp profile on in bios nothing else. Now the problem is CPU temps while stress testing cpu with aida64(Just for 3 minutes) highest temps reached was 86 and it averaged around 83-84 which im not sure is bad or not but the idle stays areoung 40-60 yes it spikes and goes back to low crazy. Also ran cinebech highest temps was 78 degree celcius. Not woried about gpu as it has 2 fans for it. Using nzxt one screw amd universal retention bracket for block(have asked nzxt for am4 bracket) using thermal grizzly kryonaut as paste. Im really concenred with temps please help me reduce them.

I was watching a Paul's Hardware video (Don't worry I watch all the LMG videos first!!!) and he was doing a build in an NZXT H510 case. In that case, all the connectors (like the power switch, reset button etc.) that go into the F Panel that are usually 1 or 2 pins wide are all in a single plug. The case apparently ships with an adapter that will let you break them back into single connections. What I am wondering is if anyone sells an adapter that goes the other way? Could I purchase an adapter that would let me plug all those cables in outside the case and then have just a single wide plug to plug into the F Panel? It's probably my fat fingers and general lack of eye hand coordination, but I always struggle to get all those cables plugged in. If I get the power button working I am usually satisfied. But my current project is building an HTPC for my sister as a housewarming gift and I'd like everything to work. She just bought her first house. But for some reason she seems to struggle getting some services to work on her supposedly smart TV. I am planning to have all of her services set up before I give it to her, including access to my MyCloud. There are all these different Smart TV and streaming devices with various apps. But I don't think any of them have all the services I subscribe to. But a PC can pretty much stream anything.

I was wondering if I should get a be quiet! Dark Rock 4 or be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 for a Ryzen 9 3900X but I have to make sure it fits in the NZXT H510 case? Do you know if the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 fits in the NZXT H510 case? Is it fine to get a be quiet! Dark Rock 4 for the Ryzen 9 3900X? I know that the be quiet! Dark Rock 4 fits in the NZXT H510 just fine. The very left image is the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4. The very right image is the be quiet! Dark Rock 4.

I have heard that the airflow is not that good for the NZXT h510 case. I am going to buy some be quiet! SilentWings 3 PWM 50.5 CFM 120 mm Fans. Two for the front and one for the front. Should I buy one more for the top? Should I even put a fan on the top? I don't want to hear a lot of noise if it cools the pc by one or two degrees. I know that the fans are quiet.

First time building a gaming/editing PC myself and I got all the parts in and connected to the power supply but I have been able to power on the build. My motherboard lights up when I turn on the power supply but the power button does nothing. I’ve tried using the power button with the f panel cable that comes pre connected to the case, the adapter it comes with, and even the screwdriver trick but nothing happens. Not even the fans starting to spin. I’ve tried reseating the motherboard and the memory and made sure all the connections are plugged in right but nothing’s worked so far. I’m going to try to reset the CMOS and then just straight up try redoing all the wire connections but I’m skeptical that either will work. Just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas as to what could be causing it or any possible solutions to my problem. Parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8gVKtp The case isn’t in that link but it’s an NZXT H510
