I've been having random display driver crashes since I installed my 3070ti. The weird thing is, sometimes I can play for hours straight and not have a single crash, but then I can get them minutes into a game repetitively. I am getting an error with the fallowing info: Event Viewer Log Name: System Source: nvlddmkm Event ID: 0 Level: Error \Device\000000a3 Error occurred on GPUID: 800 Reliability History Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Code: 141 Parameter 1: ffffb80fab8e7050 Parameter 2: fffff8056c769050 Parameter 3: 0 Parameter 4: 425c OS version: 10_0_22621 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 256_1 OS Version: 10.0.22621.2.0.0.256.121 Locale ID: 1033 Things I have tried: clean reinstall windows DDU drivers, updated all drivers (cpu, gpu, mobo) remove all software that could be interfering (GeForce experience, MSI afterburner etc.) changed power settings replaced the RAM turned off RAM XMP profiles re-seated everything underclocking/volting changed permission settings for the GPU you name it, i've tried it. I've noticed a dead give away that my system is about to crash is the audio will start crack slightly before it. if someone with more technical expertise has some insight I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd rather no RMA this card unless I know for sure that's the answer. If I need to grab more info please let me know as well.

This post is going to be pretty long, because I've been fighting this issue for quite long time. Since last Christmas my parents PC experiences random GPU driver crashes while playing games but not only then, sometimes it happens just while browsing the internet or watching YT. The whole screen or part of it goes black for a sec or more. When it happens while playing games they usually just shut down with the "driver issue" prompt. When it happens while not playing games the only way to detect it is windows event log. The source of the error is always nvlddmkm. Ususally, but not everytime, followed by this information, : The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 1f00 It is always followed by the event "the driver nvlddmkm stopped responding but recovered successfully". What's more troublesome: -there have not been a single BSOD caused by this issue, usually the screen goes black but its back after some time -sometimes it won't occure for 40-60min of playing any game, it seems completely random My first guess was failing GPU, I took it to technicians to check it out but after a week of testing they said it is completely fine GPU. I changed GPU to another one but the problem still occurs. Let me now list all things I've already done, from more to less obvious: - fresh windows install - fresh windows install on differen ssd/hdd - driver upgrade/downgrade using DDU - turing off XMP, lowering ram speed - using 1x4gb ram instead of 2x4gb - memtest86 RAM - 0 errors after all 4 full tests for both DIMMs - adding TdrDelay/TdrDdiDelay/TdrLimitTime on various values (60,120,300) in regedit - GPU swap - checking thermals, nothing is overheating in idle or in use - MOBO bios update (now the MOBO is on the last non-beta bios) - cpu swap - lowering GPU clocks Additionally, sometimes when I want to shut down the PC it restarts instead of shutting down. Sometimes it starts without signal to display and has to be restarted (I hear the fans, but there is no BEEP). Specs(original and what I swapped to): -Windows 10 Pro 22h2 19045.2788 -MSI a320m pro-vh plus - bios 7B07v3E -Ryzen 3 1200 AE swapped to Ryzen 5 1600AF - no OC -2x4GB Kingston HyperX 2666mhz -MSI GTX 1050 low-profile swapped to Gainward GTX 1660 Super -ADATA SX900 128GB SSD -Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 -SilentiumPC Deus G1 500W - 8 years old! My final thoughts: I think whats left to be at fault are PSU and/or MOBO since the issue still occurs on different GPU and CPU. I have used all of listed parts in my own PC and I have not experienced any issues with them. I've alredy ordered a new PSU unit, going to install it in 2 days and update the thread. Even if it's not failing PSU I would be calmer to know that my paretns don't use this old one Do you have any ideas what else can I do/check?

This is the full error I received from Event Viewer: The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 2b00 The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table Games either crash to desktop, or run at 10 FPS when XMP is on My PC Specs if anyone need it: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Motherboard: MSI Mag B550M Mortar RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200Mhz (2x16Gb) GPU: GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GAMING OC 8G PSU: Antec Neo ECO NE850G M 80 Plus Gold 850W I bought my 2 ram sticks separately and isn't in a kit, I don't know if that can cause an issue, but here are the information of the 2 sticks in Thaiphoon viewer, they're exactly the same unless I missed something: - Stick 1: - Stick 2:

Hey everyone. My PC keeps crashing. There is no BSoD, no error code upon the crash, it just goes to a black screen and performs a complete reboot. This happens completely randomly. It is not just when gaming. It has happened while gaming, browsing email, shopping, and watching youtube. This is what "WhoCrashed" says the issue is: `On Tue 2/16/2021 9:49:07 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported` `crash dump file: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP` `This was probably caused by the following module:` `nvlddmkm.sys` `(0xFFFFF8022C3EDB16)` `Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0xFFFFB2ED63A9C708, 0x0, 0xFFFFF8022C3EDB16, 0x2)` `Error:` `PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA` `file path: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_3621da861144492b\nvlddmkm.sys` `product:` `NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 461.40` `company:` `NVIDIA Corporation` `description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 461.40` `Bug check description: This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced.` `This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.` `A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 461.40 , NVIDIA Corporation).` `Google query:` `nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA Corporation PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA` This is what I've tried so far: Uninstalling graphics drivers with DDU and reinstalling Running Windows memory diagostic tool (No issues found) Completely disabling XMP profile Checking all power cables including unplugging and re-plugging all cables I just reverted from 461.40 to 461.09, but part of the problem is that this happens completely randomly. It could be 10 hours between crashes or just a couple minutes. I recently moved all my components into a brand new case and reinstalled Windows 10. I was not having this issue before I performed this switch into a new case. Here are my system specs: Intel Core i7-9700k (removed overclock for troubleshooting) EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200mhz Asus Prime Z370-A Corsair RM850 Power Supply 512GB XPG nvme drive (Boot drive) 2TB Seagate baracuda HDD (This is also new. Installed this with the case) Again, the system was working perfectly fine before I moved the PC to a new case and reinstalled Windows 10. My next steps were going to be seeing if rolliong back the driver resolves the issue. If it does not, I will test with 1 stick of RAM each. If the problem persists I assume it is either a dead video card or a bad power supply. Have any of you experienced this issue? Did you come up with a solution? I've read some people with similar issues after a google search, but I've done all the troubleshooting steps that they have and haven't had any luck. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hey everyone! I decided to come here to ask for help because I feel like I tried everything and I really want to fix this. So when playing rust the game just freezes sometimes it blackscreens for a seconds and the event viewer says Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. It's really annoying since if I'm streaming the stream goes offline because the GPU appears disconnected for a brief moment. My PC specs are: - Ryzen 9 3900X - ROG Strix x570-E Gaming motherboard (BIOS version 4021) - 2x 8GB 3600Mhz DDR4 F4-3600C18D-16GTZR RAM - 2x 8GB 3600Mhz DDR4 F4-3600C18D-16GTZRX RAM (I added more RAM in late August 2021 that's why it's not the exact same model number) - Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3080 Ti Xtreme 12GB (switch is on BIOS OC mode) - 1TB Crucial P1 nvme m.2 SSD - Corsair RM1000X 80 Plus Gold PSU Running the latest update of Windows 10 (checked February 20th 2022) So a little back story: I bought the GPU brand new from Amazon in late August 2021 and at the same time ordered 16GB more RAM. I first encountered this game hang issue in New World, the game would freeze but the audio was still there and I could sometimes still move in game. Task manager would at that moment say that New World is suspended. This issue was fixed by lowering graphics to medium, but with a later update the issue came back, and I haven't fixed it since (I have stopped playing in December tho). The issue didn't repeat until I started playing Rust in January. The game freezes but I still appear online in the game (Task manager says Suspended) or the GPU driver completely crashes, I get a flash of blackscreen and then everything is back to normal. This can happen anywhere bewteen 20 mins in the game to if I'm lucky after 3h in the game. Playing a game like Rust is not fun like this because it has disconnected me during a raid and even 5 minutes of load time can be crucial; not to talk about the stream experience. I've been monitoring the RAM usage and GPU temps and highest RAM usage was about 51% (just a bit over 16GB) and the hottest my GPU has been is around 65 Celsius. I have done multiple things to try and solve this and I googled extensively but couldn't find the solution... I just recently updated the drivers to latest version. When this issue started happening in September when New World Was released I had a 750W PSU and I replaced it with a 1000W PSU hoping that the GPU was lacking power. Since I did have a virus problem about 18 months ago I bought Malwarebyte antivirus and checked the PC for any threats. I completely reinstalled windows but with no fix to this issue. I tried closing the razer app like someone suggested on Nvidia's reddit but that didn't work, I tried PCIE slot settings to "Auto", "GEN 3" and "GEN 4" in BIOS with failed results, but when using "GEN 4" after about 1-2h of streaming Rust my PC blackscreened with some of the elements of my stream still visible on the second monitor and then the PC rebooted. I tried overclocking the GPU, Updating Windows to latest version, I set rust to high priority using Registry Editor, I have 3 seperate cables going from PSU to the GPU (no splitters), I'm running on AMD Balanced Power plan (due to seeing a forum post that AMD systems need this option for rust). I verified the files with steam and I run steam in Admin mode. I'm running out of ideas on what to do but a complete PC reset is still on the table, I just don't wanna do it until I know it will fix the issue. This may sound funny but Fortnite broke my unreal engine some time ago and all of my unreal engine games were crashing and the only thing that helped was a clean PC wipe. Please let me know your Ideas.

I'm unsure why this keeps happening but whenever I need to update my gpu drivers through geforce experience; it crashes the pc the first time and then I can update it the second. The blue screen error stop code was SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and says What failed: nvlddmkm.sys. I have tried using DDU and I have completely reinstalled windows and it hasn't stopped it. It stopped for a while and then just happened again. So now I'm kind of at a loss as to why its doing this. Hey guys can anyone help me? I'm getting these floods of error in event viewer any time I try and start a game, it freezes up my PC and even crashes it. 50/50 shot System specs Ryzen 7 2700x 16gb Gskill 3200mhz ram RTX 2070 Things I have tried: Underclocked GPU DDU'd GPU drivers downloaded older GPU drivers (Cant roll back windows update for some reason) checked GPU temps everything seemed fine. Any help would be welcome, I checked the Nvidia forums but one post from 12 years ago is pretty inactive. Any other mention is on the most recent driver where 2 people have the same issue. Allright, seems like it's a power draw issue, when idle everything is fine, when I push the PC boom, errors, will try and plug it into a different outlet tomorrow, maybe PSU dying? (rather PSU than GPU with these prices) Please don't tell me I need a new GPU, not in these awful times......

Hello All, I have a recurring issue with my PC for the past few months, and I haven't been able to pinpoint the root cause browsing the web yet. While playing most games, the system regurarly crashes in one of the following ways: 1, BSOD with nvlddmkm.sys error code (30%) 2, Complete system freeze, I can only manually kill the system with the power button (60%) 3, Game crashes to Desktop (10%) Most games produce any or all of these issues. Fallout 76 produces 1 and 2 after around 5-10 minutes of gametime, Dragon Age Origins produces 3 irregularly, but at least once in an hour. Other games also produce 1 and 2 regularly, but interestingly I can play Binding of Isaac without an issue for hours, never had any problem with it. After browsing through the web, I have tried the following: - Updating GPU drivers to latest stable - Clean reinstall of GPU driver with DDU to latest version, as well as earlier versions 511.23 and 472.12 - Updating windows manually - Performing a memory check (no problems detected) - Defragging SSD and Hard Drive PC runs a Ryzen 2600, Asus GeForce 1070, and dual channel 16GB of 3200 Mhz RAM. Never been overclocked in any way. Below are minidump files from instances where BSOD happens: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pLH-m0G-I7RI8B6-JZi6l_HCF5-OUa9y?usp=sharing Hopeful you can help!

Hey Guys, When I'm gaming on my PC the games are constantly crashing back to the desktop, doesn't matter what game I play but typically its Halo or World of Tanks. Game just crashes, half the time the Event Log doesn't record any errors but the other half I'm getting Event ID 4101 and 14 for: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. I've tried the following but still have the same problem: Reinstalled different Nvidia Drivers (using DDU and/or clean install from Nvidia) ranging from 412.77 to most recent. Moved GPU to different PCI-E lane on motherboard Reinstalled Windows 11 Pro from Scratch Tried 3 different 3080 GPU's (Two were brand new) I'm not sure where to go from here, does anyone have some other troubleshooting steps that I can perform? PC specs are below: i7-11700F 32 G.Skill GB Ram DDR4 3200MHz Asus Strix 3080 White Asus Strix Z590-A WD 500GB M.2 SSD Thanks and appreciate any help.

Can't edit in Premiere without this error making my monitor go black and freezing my mouse and everything else until it comes back about 10 seconds later. It seems to ONLY happen in Premiere Pro, regardless if GPU playback is enabled or not. It doesn't happen with gaming so I'm confused as to why it's happening only with Premiere, I also get an error in Blender sometimes that says "CUDA Error - Failed to create CUDA context (Illegal Address) when attempting to render or preview my render. Please someone help "The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer." Specs are Windows 10 EVGA RTX 2080 Super AMD Ryzen 9 3900x x570 Aorus Elite 32GB (2x16) G.Skill ram Corsair RMX 750x I have also tried: • Turning Digital Vibrance back to 50 on both monitors • Disabling XMP • Using DDU to remove and re-install video drivers • Installing Windows updates • Uninstalling Windows updates • Reinstalled Windows 10 64 bit completely fresh on an entirely new drive • Disabling my second monitor • Playing on a lower resolution • Modifying the registry to increase the TdrDelay setting (up to 20 seconds) • Monitored my GPU and CPU temps and there's no overheating • Turning off GSYNC (I run fixed refresh) • Turning off anti-virus • Reseating the GPU AND switching to other PCIE lane • Underclocking GPU • Uninstalling all RGB Software • Uninstalling MSI Afterburner • Uninstalling Ryzen Master • Turning off GPU LED's • Ensuring Chrome is closed when editing • Changing Windows power options to use max performance, with Link State Power Management off as well • Entering Bios and making sure CSM Supports - Enabled/Disabled (neither helped) and Storage Boot Option Control - UEFI only (someone on another forum said to do this cuz it may help) • Installing Studio Drivers (didn't help either!) I have speccy and 3DMark Firestrike results as well as HWInfo (HWinfo was running while Firestrike was) if anyone needs that to try and help me figure this out, it's attached. I just need to know if I need to RMA my card or not. I don't want to waste money if it's avoidable. HWInfo Log.CSV Reliability Monitor Report.XML

Hello people, I'm having a weird issue with a newly built computer. Everything seems to be working fine until I install the graphics card driver, after which I have random crashes, that are not caused under load, since sometimes it crashes when barely turned on, sometimes it turns on fine, but just while browsing the internet or watching YouTube it will crash again. The crash happens like this: The display goes completely black, and about 5 seconds later audio stops working too. No key combinations can get anything going after that, and I have to manually turn it off and on again. No BSOD shows, and it also doesn't create a crash dump file. Looking into the event viewer I get 2 different combinations of error / critical messages for each crash, but no dump file like I mentioned already. Pictures of the errors are attached. While the computer doesn't decide to crash I can run stress tests and benchmarks just fine without any problem, and than sometimes if its not under any load at all it crashes. What I have tried so far: Installed different versions of NVIDIA drivers, with all different versions, same thing happens I have made clean installs of Windows 10 and 11 at least 3 times each Have tried installing all my different software before I install the graphics driver, so it comes last... No problems on the computer until graphics driver is installed Have tried installing graphics driver as the first thing after a new windows install, it starts randomly crashing right away I guess I've tried a ton more stuff just can't remember anything relevant at this moment Please don't judge me too much on my hardware selection choices. I'm from Mexico and can mostly not just buy high tier hardware off the shelf, I mostly have to go by what is in stock at the moment, buying from 5-7 different providers But here go my computer specs so you have a better understanding: Processor: Intel Core i9-13900K Motherboard: ASRock Z690 Taichi Graphics Card: ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity OC Memory: Kingston Beast Fury Black DDR5 5600MHz 32GB (single stick, only found one stick in stock in the entire country, want to upgrade to 64 or 128GB down the line) Storage: 1TB XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro You can gladly ask me for more information if needed, maybe someone can help me with this?

Hey guys. I have a problem with DPC latency caused by nvlddmkm.sys (Nvidia drivers). I read a lot of threads about it but nothing i tried helped me fix it. Things i tried: - complete fresh OS - reinstalling every driver multiple times (older versions too) - disabling CPU throttling - no Nvidia HD Audio driver Without the Nvidia driver there is near no/normal latency Really hope some of you guys have more ideas. Thx for the help already Piet

Hey everyone! I have an 1 year old Gainward GTX 1080 Golden Sample. After the install of the new NVIDIA driver (398.82) I’ve got some big problem. I’ve been try to solve it for 2 weeks, no luck. My problem is the following: When I open anything (Search bar on Windows 10 tray, Google Chrome etc.) my cursor starts lagging. It moves a bit, then it stops at a place, and a few moments later it jumps to the place, where it should to be, if it moves continuously. Google Chrome opening is also lagging, Sometimes after the laggy cursor comes a few seconds black screen at random intervals with one or more 4101 event (Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.) Then the screen comes back. 2 day ago there were 10 black screen witihin a minute. One time it caused this: Normally it is like this: On the original system I've got this: Things what I did in the last 2 weeks: -run different tests: Prime95 (OK), FurMark (OK), Memtest86+ (OK), Heaven Benchmark (OK) -about 50 clean install with different Windows 10 versions, with full storage format and with the latest firmwares -try 10 different NVIDIA driver (problems are still here with all of them too) -a lot of DDU in safe mode -Core and Memory clock reducing in MSI Afterburner -try hard performance in Windows 10 and NVIDIA Control Panel -ignore DriverSearching in Registry, ignore and stop Windows Update -try it with only NVIDIA driver installed on my PC -try it with different HDMI cable, and with Display Port cable -try it with different display (Sony Smart TV) -try it with 3 different mouse -Windows 7 try: no black screens, but cursor lag is still there -Linux Mint try: no black screens, but cursor lag is still there The problems do not occur when I use the Intel HD 530 integrated GPU. AND: the problems do not occur when I run stress tests, like FurMark and Heaven Benchmark. The GPU’s values are in the normal zone: 43C-67C, avg. 85 fps. How is this possible? The card is dying when I browse, when I click a simple Windows 10 Search Bar or open a browser etc. But it can handle a 10 minutes long FurMark test, without any problem, without any lag or black screen. How? I suspected to hardware problem, but I can’t believe it in the knowledge of these facts. May the PSU (EVGA G3 SuperNova 550W) can’t cause this, because then it should affect the integrated GPU, too. All parts of my PC are about 1 year old. I heard about a secret storage on the newest graphics cards, which can not be cleaned with Windows clean install. It was a thread on the https://forums.geforce.com/ site, but it has already been removed. Maybe that is what it causes my problem? Or what causes these problems? Have you ever experienced something like that?

So I am running the most recent whql drivers and I want to get different SLI auto working on my 1060 6gb and 980ti. Apparently it can be done with the newest drivers but I can't find the nvlddmkm.sys file. Some people have "expanded" the nvlddmkm.sy_ file but I have no idea how to go about that. And why can't I change the code for the program to use the .sy_. I will take any help I can get.

I've been getting this blue screen ever since I downloaded Windows 10. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue, I just think it is the new OS, but I keep updating it and updating my gtx 970m and nothing seems to fix it. When it happens: Opening almost any program will cause it to Blue Screen. Including Chrome.

Hello guys I've a problem with my setup: I7-3770K (overclocked 4.2ghz, stable) 2xGTX 780 (overclocked to 1.2Ghz core-clock and 6.5GHZ on memory) these are two different types, one is a reference 780 and one is the EVGA SC 780 Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard with the latest BIOS-Version Corsair AX860i PSU As OS I'm using Windows 8.1 Now, for quite a while now, I get random crashes in games with one of the two following messages (usually the latter): Display driver stopped responding and has recovered *Application* has been blocked from accessing the graphics hardware When I torture-test my system none of this stuff happens I usually test with Valley / Heaven. I'm running EVGA-Precision X's latest version for overclocking. Now, before you ask, overheating is not an issue, my whole system is liquid cooled and the GPU's are around 45 degrees. I've already done a clean install of NVIDIA's latest display driver, which changed unfortunately nothing. It happened in World of Warcraft (some old 3.3.5 version) and Mad Max yesterday, but also in different games, in the past. Now, somehow I can't play WoW while Precision X is running, so while playing, it's not running. I'm really desperate here, because nothing that I tried, seems to make a difference. I've found tons of other people having this issue online, but none of these guys could really figure it out. I hope that any of you might have an idea what could be wrong, I'll block PrecisionX from running at start and test these games again when I come home today.

Hello peeps I'm having some serious issues with BSODs. I have had none a while ago, about 2 weeks Last thing i changed in my PC was adding 2 more sticks of RAM in there (same model, same capacity, same speed as the old one) But BSODs didn't start right away, after changing RAM, so that's what confuses me. Also tested the RAM with windows built in memory tester and memtest86, none of the 2 showed any errors. Also did disk check on all of my SSDs and HDD, all good. Did scan everything with malwarebytes and AV, both found nothing The one thing that's most suspicious to me is GPU. BSODs range from irql_not_less_or_equal, driver_verifier_detected_violation, kernel_security_check_failure, maybe some more, these i remember from the top of my head. I did check the minidump file and it showed up the nvlddmkm.sys several times as the culprit. So far, I uninstalled the graphics drivers, reverted back to old driver, switched GPU between normal and LN2 mode but it always BSODs on me usually at least once a day, today twice so far. I had win 7 and upgraded to 8.1 recently, since I was having these problems even when on win 7, I thought that new, fresh install would fix it, but it didn't. My biggest fear is, that it's something to do with GPU hardware, is that possible? Also open to suggestions to fix this Thanks Specs in profile

So I have an nVidia 650Ti, nothing special but it gets the job done. Now a few months ago my not very old Asus Z97-A abruptly gave up life and I got it RMA'd for a new one. My computer was out of action for about a month and a half until I installed the new board. Plugged everything back into it just as I had left it and my computer was working again. Come the issues, the whole computer will freeze from time to time, sometimes just stuttering (the mouse stops moving and then suddenly jumps), sometimes it hangs for so long it'll just reset itself, occasionally it'll blue screen but this doesn't happen very often. So I did a full memory test, let it do 5 passes in Memtest86 and I had no errors. So I carried on using my computer and it would occasionally crash just whilst internet browsing, but probably say once every few days so something you can ignore. Although skip to now and I've started playing my games again (now some deadlines are out of the way ) and depending on the game I can play for an hour or sometimes I can only play for 2minutes before complete crash and it resets itself. Whilst playing games I get several moments where it hangs but will pick up again. So, I checked event viewer just after a game has crashed and the computer reset... Ok so definitely graphics card, although it was already pointing to that. So I ran Driver Sweeper (or whatever its called now) in safe mode and cleared all the nVidia stuff and then installed the latest driver from nVidias website. No change. Where do I go from here? Thanks

Hi there. I have a problem regarding my graphics card. It basically freezes, and all I can do is move my cursor and nothing else. when playing games that require a lot from the card I need to restart the computer because I can't do anything. I can even browse GIFs on reddit and it will freeze. What i have done already, I have turned off the powersavings for the PCIe. I have slightly overclocked the gpu because I wanted a more smooth run on some games. though this is not much, at all! The crashing also happened before I did the overclocking. I have reinstalled my gpu drivers and removed the old drivers beforehand. After the most recent freeze did, my eventlog on the system bar spassed out. it was endless with errors as shown in the pictures. I have added DXDiag pictures and eventlog pictures. if there is more you guys want then ask. all the eventlogs are the same errors that came up, so that is all the failures that happened.
