Hi all! This might be something that you've all seen before, but I couldn't find a fix online until I found it myself by messing around. If you are on Windows 11 and have Taskbar Autohide enabled, you might have experienced the issue where when you get notifications (looking at you MS Teams, etc), the taskbar shows up, and does not autohide again until you press the windows key or do something else. Here is the simple fix: Settings - Personalization - Taskbar - Taskbar behaviors (dropdown) - Unselect: "Show flashing on taskbar apps" (See image) Hope this helps you guys! If this doesn't fix it for you, please let me know. Cheers. NB

I just finished building my pc and it won't boot. When it turns on the cpu debug led turns on for a couple seconds but goes away, and does the same thing when I turn it off. I tried clearing the cmos, reseating the ram and cpu, and booting it out of the case. The cpu gpu and ram are from my other system and I just migrated them over. My specs are Ryzen 3 1200 1650 Super Msi b350 gaming plus 4x4 viper blackout 3000mhz 850watt abkoncore 80plus gold Corsair h60 120mm

Help!!!!! Its my first time building a pc, and when I finished building it it didn’t turn on. I thought it might be the psu,but I did the paper clip trick and the fan spun, but when I plugged in the 24 pin connector into the motherboard and switched it on the fan did not spin, if anyone knows how to fix this, I would be forever grateful. Is any of my hardware not working? Pc Parts: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/rycamz/saved/#view=fLNygs Thanks In advance, yours sincerely, RyCanFly

Hi, I bought myself the Phanteks NEON Combo Set (2x RGB Strips with 5V) and hooked one up to my MB (Aorus B450I Pro Wifi), which has a 3 pin Digital LED Header (2A; 5V | D | NA | G) . When I then booted the system, the strip was not lighting up. I then tried to adjust the MB connector to assure a good fit. But the strip didn't light up at all. Unfortunately I have no other RGB Hardware for reference and testing. I even tried both strips, one at a time, but both don't light up. I also have RGB RAM installed which works fine and is even picked up by the RGB Fusion 2.0 Software. Reinstalling the RGB Fusion Software didn't fix the problem either. I also tested if the Digital LED Header was even working, and the 5V are coming through. Has someone an idea what could be wrong with my hardware, or what else I can try to get those RGB strips working? Could it be that the included adapter (Digital LED to 3-Pin) is not compatible with my MB?

(my first build) I turn on my pc for gaming then game then it automatically shuts down after about an hour(I purposely set it that way so that I don't play overtime), Then Sometimes I want to play more so I turn it back on but it doesn't turn on, it loops through cpu and Dram(Lights on my mother board keeps switching to cpu then Dram normally it's supposed to go CPU-Dram-VGA-Boot). I tested it out if i just shut down regularly to see if the force timer shut down was the problem but when I turn on my pc and turn it off right away it turns on fine after, when I launch a game and play for a bit then shut it off it doesn't turn on again. I always have to wait at least 5 or 10 min. I have a computer with a 3070 Ti, 5800X and 750W PSU, I was doing some design on fusion 360 when “BANG!” I saw a white flash and the pc shut down. The GPU looks to be fine and the mobo looks like no blown capacitors but the PSU seems like it’s cooked. I then threw in another PSU to test and the motherboard lit up when power switch was turned on but then that PSU fried too. Anybody know what my problem could be?

I was playing a game with my friends using my Logitech G432 headset. It doesn't have a mute button so to mute myself I have to pull the mic upwards. I did that whilst in call then a few weird sounds were coming out then next minute later the microphone stopped working. Discord still recognizes the mic and audio still works but problem is whenever I talk it doesn't output sound to others.

Hi! I bought Corsair Harpoon Wireless mice a few days ago. Everything was working perfectly fine, but today I decided to download an update using ICU interface. It told me to connect my mice using USB so I did. After that, it just stopped working. Like, the RB on the front are still lighting are working, but the laser on the bottom of the mice (I think that's what it's called, this red light that tracks the movement) it just not showing. ICU recognizes the dongle, but does now show mice itself. How can I fix it?

I have an Intel i7 4770, not the k version.the base clock is 3.4ghz. I have enabled performance mode so the chip is at 3.8ghz at low utilization but what I don’t understand is why it goes down to 3.47ghz but is at 100% utilisation when I run cinebench or try to render something in premier pro . I have disabled eist in the bios but nothing changed.. The temps are hovering in the high 40s low 50s. If anybody has anything else that I can try please tell me.

I need help with my FPS. I recently replaced my MoBo and CPU, and I'm getting around 30-50 FPS with my GPU overclocked and the everything down to the lowest setting. My previous setup ran an i5-7600k CPU with a MSI Z270 Pro Carbon Gaming with the same RAM and GPU with everything cranked to max in the settings and I still got around 100-115 FPS. SO what I'm asking is, why is my FPS so low with my current more capable setup than my previous one? Current rig: MoBo: Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming CPU: i9-10850k GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Gaming x Trio RAM: 16GB @ 3200Mhz

I built my custom PC back in early 2018, and I have not changed anything in it since I first bought it but now I am thinking about some upgrades. I chose Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower Chassis with Window that came with a rear fan and a front fan. When I first built this computer, the front 200mm fan never worked and I could never figure out why, and I did not worry about it since my parts were not that high end and I never seemed to have issues with it. But now I want to try to figure it out, it is connected to the PWM hub, that was connected to the motherboard but it just never turned on. I am running the MSI z270 Gaming M6 AC, and in addition to my front fan not working, I have only ever had control over 1 of the fans in software that allowed me to control the RPM of "all" my fans. I am not sure if it is the motherboard, case, missing wire, or something faulty but I have done extension research and cannot seem to figure it out, if anyone else can direct me to help that would be great. Thank you for reading this. Here is the entire build if needed: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/PineKiwi/saved/

Hey guys, I used to have a soundboard by the name "dcsb" a little while ago, and today I tried dowloading it again. Last time I installed it I watched a youtube tutorial, so this time I did that again but followed a different video. In this tutorial they used "voicemeter banana" instead of "vb audio cable". So I downloaded voicemeter banana and dcsb. I followed the whole tutorial and everything worked, but it was not really what I wanted. By the way, I still had vb audio cable installled since last time. Anyways, I decided to delete voicemeter banana, vb audio cable and dcsb. I uninstalled them in the Windows Programs and Features tab. After uninstalling them I restarted my computer to complete the process. When my computer started again I realized that my Realtek headset microphone was not working. I listened to it in both Discord and in the recording devices settings. Here are the methods I already tried that did not work: - Updating the realtek drivers (I had the most recent one) - Installed the newest realtek driver (even though I had the most recent one) - Reinstalled voicemeter, dcsb and vb audio cable and uninstalling them again. - Tried to recover my whole computer and the drivers (I couldnt) - Restaring the computer 1000000+ times - Set the realtek microphone to standard in the recording devices and listend to it afterwards. I am 100% sure that the real life microphone is not the problem. I am also very sure that dcsb did not cause this. I dont know if it helps in any way but I have a OMEN Laptop. Currently I'm using my really crappy built in laptop microphone. FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS I will try to anwser as fast as possible. Thank you for reading this, I would really appreciate the slightest help.

Hey guys I have today bought used Oracle/SUM Fire X4170 M2 server seemed to work all RAM and CPUs detected... But the ILOM remote management was locked and nobody knew the password so I googled how to reset it. I had no luck with it so I just tried to reset the CMOS maybe it will work. I powered off the server and opened it, then I pressed the CMOS reset button, closed the server and pressed the powerbutton. Nothing happened... So I unplugged the server from electricity and then plugged back in. All front LEDs (OK, Warning, ILOM) flashed 3 times and that was all. The OK led on the back was flashing as before when it was working. The server now sits there and does nothing. After some time (like 2minutes) I was able to ping it from my pc but no luck with web interface (not even loading). After a minute all of the fans start running at max speed and nothing will happen. I left it like that for 20 minutes nothing... I tried reseting the CMOS again (now the proper way cause I found manual finaly) no luck with that. The server does now want to post even but it's weird cause the back LED flashes OK and the front one does nothing. I was searching for some BIOS to reflash with USB drive but all that Oracle has to say about this is that you are supposed to update it from the ILOM. I have no idea what to do now do you have some suggestions ?

The keyboard that i bought had been from ebay but it was repaired by razer, the company. When i got first got it, it was great and had no problems and suddenly after one day it started to stop working whenever even if i wasnt doing anything with it just watching youtube or something. I dont know why it does that. i have since gone back to my old keyboard with the green switches and had no issue so i think its in the keyboard. Please help i really like the yellow switches

Hey guys, So I'm having an issue with my internal webcam on my laptop (Asus UX430UA). Basically whenever I use the windows camera app, skype or any other video service it just shows a black screen, also a white led turns on next to the webcam when using the apps possibly indicating the webcam is on? I tried googling and looking at other forums for months now and seems like no one has a straight answer and/or fix. I tried uninstalling the webcam driver " USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam" and reinstalling and that didn't work, tried looking for an updated driver via Asus driver downloads and there isn't one listed for my model and also made sure all Windows 10 privacy settings are not blocking the webcam from working and that still didn't work. Hopefully someone has a suggestion that I haven't tried yet, here are the details of the driver; Version: 10.0.18362.693, Date: 6/21/2006. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys I have a big issue, that I don't think I can solve by myself. I just built a PC for my GF and now I want to get it up and running. The PC: i5 6400 MSI Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium 8GB Patriot Viper 180GB Corsair GS as system SSD Original Win10 Pro 64b installed from DVD (so no updates on the installed medium) Wired LAN connection from UPC modem (just tested it on my laptop, which connects fine) The issue is as follows: 1) Clean Windows 10 install on the formated Corsair GS 2) Windows were unable to import drivers from the network 3) There aren't any Network Adapters in Device Manager (the whole table is missing) 4) I'm unable to install Intel's Network drivers due to error "Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer" Truth be told, I've seen many things and I'm no computer newbie, but this is something new. The board and its connection worked fine a week ago, when it was still in my personal PC and now I have this issue. Can anybody help me? Thanks, Bleach.

Hello , this is my first time posting here so please tell me if something is wrong or any info is missing. I'm having drivers issues with my XFX RX 560 , i was updating to Adrenaline 20.x (Recommended option) and once it finished the install , made a restart like the drivers required, i saw bios options, post , everything was good but it just start windows like the image, in user selection, in desktop screen, everywhere, i thought it was the new driver so i tried a downgrade using DDU and getting the one that i was using all this time ( which was, in a surprising way, catalyst amd drivers) but now it still shows the screen like the picture. i've checking many solutions but none of those works. Ask for a friend computer to use there but still not working, tried other display like msi or asus monitor, in intel or amd systems, almost every driver from crimson or adrenaline , even 20.4.2 which was release a couple days ago. Does this have solution or it is just time to throw it away and get an upgrade?. My system is : Ryzen 3 3200g with 16gb ddr4 ram kingston, 120gb kingston and evga 500w 80 plus white. EDIT : 04/25, still cant find a solution.
